ਜਪਿ ਮਨ ਗੋਵਿੰਦੁ ਹਰਿ ਗੋਵਿੰਦੁ ਗੁਣੀ ਨਿਧਾਨੁ ਸਭ ਸ੍ਰਿਸਟਿ ਕਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੋ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਹਰਿ ਬੋਲਿ ਹਰਿ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਅਬਿਨਾਸੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ जपि मन गोविंदु हरि गोविंदु गुणी निधानु सभ स्रिसटि का प्रभो मेरे मन हरि बोलि हरि पुरखु अबिनासी ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Jap man govinḋ har govinḋ guṇee niḋʰaan sabʰ sarisat kaa parabʰo méré man har bol har purakʰ abʰinaasee. ||1|| rahaa▫o. O my mind! Meditate on the Lord of the Universe, the Lord, the Lord of the Universe, the Treasure of Virtue, the God of all creation. O my mind! Chant the Name of the Lord, the Lord, the Eternal, Imperishable, Primal Lord God. ||1||Pause|| ਸਾਰਗ ਮਹਲਾ ੪ ਪੜਤਾਲ ॥ सारग महला ४ पड़ताल ॥ Saarag mėhlaa 4 paṛ▫ṫaal. Saarang, Fourth Mehl, Partaal: ਹਰਿ ਆਪਿ ਦਇਆਲੁ ਦਇਆ ਕਰਿ ਮੇਲੈ ਜਿਸੁ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਸੋ ਜਨੁ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਨਾਮੁ ਚਖਾਸੀ ॥੧॥ हरि आपि दइआलु दइआ करि मेलै जिसु सतिगुरू सो जनु हरि हरि अमृत नामु चखासी ॥१॥ Har aap ḋa▫i▫aal ḋa▫i▫aa kar mélæ jis saṫguroo so jan har har amriṫ naam chakʰaasee. ||1|| The Merciful Lord Himself bestows His Mercy, and He leads the mortal to meet with the True Guru. That humble being tastes the Ambrosial Name of the Lord, Har, Har. ||1|| ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰੇ ਸੋ ਪੀਐ ਜਿਸੁ ਰਾਮੁ ਪਿਆਸੀ ॥ हरि का नामु अमृतु हरि हरि हरे सो पीऐ जिसु रामु पिआसी ॥ Har kaa naam amriṫ har har haré so pee▫æ jis raam pi▫aasee. The Name of the Lord is the Ambrosial Nectar, Har, Har, Har. He alone drinks it in, whom the Lord inspires to drink it. ਜੋ ਜਨ ਸੇਵਹਿ ਸਦ ਸਦਾ ਮੇਰਾ ਹਰਿ ਹਰੇ ਤਿਨ ਕਾ ਸਭੁ ਦੂਖੁ ਭਰਮੁ ਭਉ ਜਾਸੀ ॥ जो जन सेवहि सद सदा मेरा हरि हरे तिन का सभु दूखु भरमु भउ जासी ॥ Jo jan sévėh saḋ saḋaa méraa har haré ṫin kaa sabʰ ḋookʰ bʰaram bʰa▫o jaasee. Those who serve my Lord, forever and ever - all their pain, doubt and fear are taken away. ਜਨੁ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਲਏ ਤਾਂ ਜੀਵੈ ਜਿਉ ਚਾਤ੍ਰਿਕੁ ਜਲਿ ਪੀਐ ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤਾਸੀ ॥੨॥੫॥੧੨॥ जनु नानकु नामु लए तां जीवै जिउ चात्रिकु जलि पीऐ त्रिपतासी ॥२॥५॥१२॥ Jan Naanak naam la▫é ṫaaⁿ jeevæ ji▫o chaaṫrik jal pee▫æ ṫaripṫaasee. ||2||5||12|| Servant Nanak chants the Naam, the Name of the Lord, and so he lives, like the song-bird, which is satisfied only by drinking in the water. ||2||5||12||
