ਭੈ ਕਉ ਭਉ ਪੜਿਆ ਸਿਮਰਤ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮ ॥ भै कउ भउ पड़िआ सिमरत हरि नाम ॥ Bẖai ka▫o bẖa▫o paṛi▫ā simraṯ har nām. Fear itself becomes afraid, when the mortal remembers the Lord's Name in meditation. ਭੈਰਉ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ भैरउ महला ५ ॥ Bẖairo mėhlā 5. Bhairao, Fifth Mehl: ਸਗਲ ਬਿਆਧਿ ਮਿਟੀ ਤ੍ਰਿਹੁ ਗੁਣ ਕੀ ਦਾਸ ਕੇ ਹੋਏ ਪੂਰਨ ਕਾਮ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ सगल बिआधि मिटी त्रिहु गुण की दास के होए पूरन काम ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Sagal bi▫āḏẖ mitī ṯarihu guṇ kī ḏās ke ho▫e pūran kām. ||1|| rahā▫o. All the diseases of the three gunas - the three qualities - are cured, and tasks of the Lord's slaves are perfectly accomplished. ||1||Pause|| ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਲੋਕ ਸਦਾ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵਹਿ ਤਿਨ ਕਉ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਪੂਰਨ ਧਾਮ ॥ हरि के लोक सदा गुण गावहि तिन कउ मिलिआ पूरन धाम ॥ Har ke lok saḏā guṇ gāvahi ṯin ka▫o mili▫ā pūran ḏẖām. The people of the Lord always sing His Glorious Praises; they attain His Perfect Mansion. ਕਾਮ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਲੋਭ ਮਦ ਨਿੰਦਾ ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿ ਮਿਟਿਆ ਅਭਿਮਾਨ ॥ काम क्रोध लोभ मद निंदा साधसंगि मिटिआ अभिमान ॥ Kām kroḏẖ lobẖ maḏ ninḏā sāḏẖsang miti▫ā abẖimān. Sexual desire, anger, intoxication, egotism, slander and egotistical pride are eradicated in the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy. ਜਨ ਕਾ ਦਰਸੁ ਬਾਂਛੈ ਦਿਨ ਰਾਤੀ ਹੋਇ ਪੁਨੀਤ ਧਰਮ ਰਾਇ ਜਾਮ ॥੧॥ जन का दरसु बांछै दिन राती होइ पुनीत धरम राइ जाम ॥१॥ Jan kā ḏaras bāʼncẖẖai ḏin rāṯī ho▫e punīṯ ḏẖaram rā▫e jām. ||1|| Even the Righteous Judge of Dharma and the Messenger of Death yearn, day and night, to be sanctified by the Blessed Vision of the Lord's humble servant. ||1|| ਐਸੇ ਸੰਤ ਭੇਟਹਿ ਵਡਭਾਗੀ ਨਾਨਕ ਤਿਨ ਕੈ ਸਦ ਕੁਰਬਾਨ ॥੨॥੩੯॥੫੨॥ ऐसे संत भेटहि वडभागी नानक तिन कै सद कुरबान ॥२॥३९॥५२॥ Aise sanṯ bẖetėh vadbẖāgī Nānak ṯin kai saḏ kurbān. ||2||39||52|| By great good fortune, such Saints are met. Nanak is forever a sacrifice to them. ||2||39||52||
