ਜਲ ਥਲ ਨੀਰਿ ਭਰੇ ਸੀਤਲ ਪਵਣ ਝੁਲਾਰਦੇ ॥ जल थल नीरि भरे सीतल पवण झुलारदे ॥ Jal thal nīr bẖare sīṯal pavaṇ jẖulārḏe. The ponds and the lands are overflowing with water, and the cold wind is blowing. ਮਃ ੫ ॥ मः ५ ॥ Mėhlā 5. Fifth Mehl: ਸੇਜੜੀਆ ਸੋਇੰਨ ਹੀਰੇ ਲਾਲ ਜੜੰਦੀਆ ॥ सेजड़ीआ सोइंन हीरे लाल जड़ंदीआ ॥ Sejṛī▫ā so▫inn hīre lāl jaṛanḏī▫ā. Her bed is adorned with gold, diamonds and rubies; ਸੁਭਰ ਕਪੜ ਭੋਗ ਨਾਨਕ ਪਿਰੀ ਵਿਹੂਣੀ ਤਤੀਆ ॥੩॥ सुभर कपड़ भोग नानक पिरी विहूणी ततीआ ॥३॥ Subẖar kapaṛ bẖog Nānak pirī vihūṇī ṯaṯī▫ā. ||3|| she is blessed with beautiful gowns and delicacies, O Nanak, but without her Beloved, she burns in agony. ||3|| ਕਾਰਣੁ ਕਰਤੈ ਜੋ ਕੀਆ ਸੋਈ ਹੈ ਕਰਣਾ ॥ कारणु करतै जो कीआ सोई है करणा ॥ Kāraṇ karṯai jo kī▫ā so▫ī hai karṇā. He does the deeds which the Creator causes him to do.
