ਖੁਲਿਆ ਕਰਮੁ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਭਈ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਕੀਰਤਨੁ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਗਾਈ ॥ खुलिआ करमु क्रिपा भई ठाकुर कीरतनु हरि हरि गाई ॥ Kẖuli▫ā karam kirpā bẖa▫ī ṯẖākur kīrṯan har har gā▫ī. Good karma has dawned for me - my Lord and Master has become merciful. I sing the Kirtan of the Praises of the Lord, Har, Har. ਮਾਰੂ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ मारू महला ५ ॥ Mārū mėhlā 5. Maaroo, Fifth Mehl: ਅਬ ਮੋਹਿ ਜੀਵਨ ਪਦਵੀ ਪਾਈ ॥ अब मोहि जीवन पदवी पाई ॥ Ab mohi jīvan paḏvī pā▫ī. Now, I have obtained the state of eternal life. ਚੀਤਿ ਆਇਓ ਮਨਿ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਬਿਧਾਤਾ ਸੰਤਨ ਕੀ ਸਰਣਾਈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ चीति आइओ मनि पुरखु बिधाता संतन की सरणाई ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Cẖīṯ ā▫i▫o man purakẖ biḏẖāṯā sanṯan kī sarṇā▫ī. ||1|| rahā▫o. The Primal Lord, the Architect of Destiny, has come into my conscious mind; I seek the Sanctuary of the Saints. ||1||Pause|| ਸ੍ਰਮੁ ਥਾਕਾ ਪਾਏ ਬਿਸ੍ਰਾਮਾ ਮਿਟਿ ਗਈ ਸਗਲੀ ਧਾਈ ॥੧॥ स्रमु थाका पाए बिस्रामा मिटि गई सगली धाई ॥१॥ Saram thākā pā▫e bisrāmā mit ga▫ī saglī ḏẖā▫ī. ||1|| My struggle is ended; I have found peace and tranquility. All my wanderings have ceased. ||1|| ਕਾਮੁ ਕ੍ਰੋਧੁ ਲੋਭੁ ਮੋਹੁ ਨਿਵਾਰੇ ਨਿਵਰੇ ਸਗਲ ਬੈਰਾਈ ॥ कामु क्रोधु लोभु मोहु निवारे निवरे सगल बैराई ॥ Kām kroḏẖ lobẖ moh nivāre nivre sagal bairā▫ī. Sexual desire, anger, greed and emotional attachment are eradicated; all my enemies are eliminated. ਸਦ ਹਜੂਰਿ ਹਾਜਰੁ ਹੈ ਨਾਜਰੁ ਕਤਹਿ ਨ ਭਇਓ ਦੂਰਾਈ ॥੨॥ सद हजूरि हाजरु है नाजरु कतहि न भइओ दूराई ॥२॥ Saḏ hajūr hājar hai nājar kaṯėh na bẖa▫i▫o ḏūrā▫ī. ||2|| He is always ever-present, here and now, watching over me; He is never far away. ||2|| ਸੁਖ ਸੀਤਲ ਸਰਧਾ ਸਭ ਪੂਰੀ ਹੋਏ ਸੰਤ ਸਹਾਈ ॥ सुख सीतल सरधा सभ पूरी होए संत सहाई ॥ Sukẖ sīṯal sarḏẖā sabẖ pūrī ho▫e sanṯ sahā▫ī. In peace and cool tranquility, my faith has been totally fulfilled; the Saints are my Helpers and Support. ਪਾਵਨ ਪਤਿਤ ਕੀਏ ਖਿਨ ਭੀਤਰਿ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਕਥਨੁ ਨ ਜਾਈ ॥੩॥ पावन पतित कीए खिन भीतरि महिमा कथनु न जाई ॥३॥ Pāvan paṯiṯ kī▫e kẖin bẖīṯar mahimā kathan na jā▫ī. ||3|| He has purified the sinners in an instant; I cannot express His Glorious Praises. ||3|| ਨਿਰਭਉ ਭਏ ਸਗਲ ਭੈ ਖੋਏ ਗੋਬਿਦ ਚਰਣ ਓਟਾਈ ॥ निरभउ भए सगल भै खोए गोबिद चरण ओटाई ॥ Nirbẖa▫o bẖa▫e sagal bẖai kẖo▫e gobiḏ cẖaraṇ otā▫ī. I have become fearless; all fear has departed. The feet of the Lord of the Universe are my only Shelter. ਨਾਨਕੁ ਜਸੁ ਗਾਵੈ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਕਾ ਰੈਣਿ ਦਿਨਸੁ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਈ ॥੪॥੬॥ नानकु जसु गावै ठाकुर का रैणि दिनसु लिव लाई ॥४॥६॥ Nānak jas gāvai ṯẖākur kā raiṇ ḏinas liv lā▫ī. ||4||6|| Nanak sings the Praises of his Lord and Master; night and day, he is lovingly focused on Him. ||4||6||
