Pucẖẖ. 1. ਖਬਰ, ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ। 2. ਕਦਰ, ਆਦਰ। 3. ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਨ ਭਾਵ ਰੋਕ, ਪੁਛਣਾ। 4. ਪੁਛ ਪੜਤਾਲ ਭਾਵ ਹਿਸਾਬ। 1. enquiry, inquistiveness. 2. respect; asking. 3. question, hinderance. 4. no account is called.
ਉਦਾਹਰਨਾ:
1. ਨਾਨਕ ਸਚੇ ਨਾਮ ਕੀ ਕੇਤੀ ਪੁਛਾ ਪੁਛ ॥ (ਭਾਵ ਬੇਅੰਤ 'ਸਿਕ' ਹੈ). Raga Maajh 1, Vaar 23, Salok, 1, 1:3 (P: 148).
2. ਦਰਿ ਦਰਵਾਣੀ ਨਾਹਿ ਮੂਲੇ ਪੁਛ ਤਿਸੁ ॥ Raga Soohee 1, 5, 3:2 (P: 729).
3. ਅਗੈ ਪੁਛ ਨ ਹੋਵਈ ਜੇ ਸਣੁ ਨੀਸਾਣੈ ਜਾਇ ॥ Raga Soohee 1, 7, 2:2 (P: 730).
4. ਸਉਪੇ ਜਿਸੁ ਭੰਡਾਰ ਫਿਰਿ ਪੁਛ ਨ ਲੀਤੀਅਨੁ ॥ Raga Raamkalee 5, Vaar 4:2 (P: 958).
