ਉਦਾਹਰਨਾ:
1. ਜਮ ਦਰਿ ਬਧੇ ਮਾਰੀਅਹਿ ਕੂਕ ਨ ਸੁਣੈ ਪੂਕਾਰ ॥ Raga Sireeraag 3, Asatpadee 25, 5:2 (P: 69).
ਨਾਨਕੁ ਆਖੈ ਕੂਕ ਨ ਹੋਈ ॥ (ਪੁਕਾਰ/ਫਰਿਆਦ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ). Raga Saarang 4, Vaar 13, Salok, 1, 1:4 (P: 1242).
2. ਕੂਕ ਪੂਕਾਰ ਨ ਚੁਕਈ ਨਾ ਸੰਸਾ ਵਿਚਹੁ ਜਾਇ ॥ (ਰੋਣਾ, ਚੀਕਣਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੁਕਦਾ). Raga Sorath 4, Vaar 12, Salok, 3, 2:7 (P: 647).
3. ਸਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਬੇਦ ਕੀ ਫਿਰਿ ਕੂਕ ਨ ਹੋਇ ॥ Raga Malaar 3, 10, 5:4 (P: 1261).
