Ajāmal. ਇਕ ਕੁਕਰਮੀ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਵਿਆਹੁਤਾ ਪਤਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਤਿਆਗ ਕਾਮ ਵਸ ਇਕ ਗਨਿਕਾ ਨਾਮੀ ਵੇਸਵਾ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਆਹ ਕੀਤਾ। ਪੰਛੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਰ ਕਰ ਪੇਟ ਭਰਦਾ ਸੀ। ਸਾਧ-ਜਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਹਿਣ ਉਤੇ ਛੋਟੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦਾ 'ਨਾਰਾਇਣ' ਨਾਂ ਰਖਿਆ ਤੇ ਅੰਤ ਸਮੇਂ ਉਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਮਾਰ ਤਰ ਗਿਆ। a vicious Brahmin who deserted his wife and married a prostitute named Ganka. On the advice of saints he named his younger son as 'Narain'. On the verge of death he called him by his name and was emancipated.

(ਅਜਾਮਲੁ, ਅਜਾਮਿਲ) ਨਾਮ/n. ਕਨੌਜ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਦੁਰਾਚਾਰੀ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ, ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਵੇਸ਼੍ਯਾ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਆਹ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਉਦਰ ਤੋਂ ਦਸ਼ ਪੁਤ੍ਰ ਹੋਏ. ਭਗਤਮਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਗਵਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਥਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਛੋਟੇ ਪੁਤ੍ਰ ਦਾ ਨਾਉਂ ਨਾਰਾਯਣ ਹੋਣ ਕਰਕੇ ਅਜਾਮਿਲ ਨਾਰਾਯਣ ਦਾ ਭਗਤ ਹੋਕੇ ਮੁਕਤਿ ਦਾ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਬਣਿਆ.{85} “ਬਿਆਧ ਅਜਾਮਲੁ ਤਾਰੀਅਲੇ.” (ਗਉ ਨਾਮਦੇਵ). Footnotes:
