ਸੰ. ਵਲਮੀਕ ਅਤੇ ਵਮ੍ਰੀਕੂਟ. ਨਾਮ/n. ਸਿਉਂਕ ਦਾ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਮਿੱਟੀ ਦਾ ਢੇਰ. ਨਿਰੁਕ੍ਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਿਉਂਕ (ਦੀਮਕ) ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਵਮ੍ਰੀ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹੈ. “ਵਰਮੀ ਮਾਰੀ ਸਾਪੁ ਨ ਮਰਦੀ.” (ਆਸਾ ਮਃ ੫) ਵਰਮੀ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ, ਸਰਪ ਮਨ. ਦੇਖੋ- ਵਲਮੀ। 2. ਸੰ. {वर्मिन्.} ਵਿ. ਵਰਮ (ਕਵਚ) ਪਹਿਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ. “ਟੂਕ ਟੂਕ ਭੇ ਵਰਮੀ ਯੋਧਾ.” (ਸਲੋਹ). Footnotes:
