ਨਾਮ/n. ਤਿੱਗ. ਧੜ. ਮੋਢੇ ਤੋਂ ਲੈਕੇ ਕਮਰ ਤਕ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਦਾ ਭਾਗ. “ਲਾਂਗੁਲ ਸਹਿਤ ਸੁ ਲੰਬੀ ਬੇਲ.” (ਗੁਪ੍ਰਸੂ) 2. ਲੋਹੇ ਦਾ ਲੰਮਾ ਸੰਗੁਲ. ਲੰਮਾ ਜੰਜੀਰ. “ਬੇਲ ਸੰਗ ਤਿਂਹ ਬੰਧਨ ਕਰ੍ਯੋ.” (ਸਲੋਹ) 3. ਗਵੈਯੇ ਨਟ ਆਦਿ ਦਾ ਉਹ ਪਾਤ੍ਰ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੋਕ ਇਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਧਨ ਪਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ. “ਵਾਰਤ ਵਥੁ ਡਾਰਤ ਬਹੁ ਬੇਲ.” (ਗੁਪ੍ਰਸੂ) 4. ਸੰ. ਵੱਲੀ. ਲਤਾ. “ਜੰਗਲ ਮਧੇ ਬੇਲਗੋ.” (ਟੋਡੀ ਨਾਮਦੇਵ) “ਉਠਿ ਬੈਲ ਗਏ ਚਰਿ ਬੇਲ.” (ਆਸਾ ਮਃ ੪) ਨਵੀਂ ਬਿਜਾਈ ਲਈ ਖੂਹ ਜੋਤਦੇ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਬੇਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਠਕੇ ਬਲਦ ਚਰਗਏ. ਭਾਵ- ਮੁਕਤਿ ਦੇ ਸਾਧਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਜਤਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਕਾਮਾਦਿ ਵਿਕਾਰ ਸਾਰੇ ਪੁੰਨਕਰਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਟਾ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ। 5. ਸੰਤਾਨਰੂਪ ਫਲ ਦੇਣ ਕਾਰਣ ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਭੀ ਬੇਲ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹੈ. ਦੇਖੋ- ਵੇਲਿ। 6. ਇੱਕ ਰਾਖਸ, ਜੋ ਸੁਬੇਲ ਦਾ ਭਾਈ ਸੀ. ਇਸ ਦਾ ਦੁਰਗਾ ਨਾਲ ਜੰਗ ਹੋਇਆ. “ਬੇਲ ਸੁਬੇਲ ਦੈਤ ਦ੍ਵੈ ਦੀਰਘ.” (ਗੁਪ੍ਰਸੂ) ਦੇਖੋ- ਸੁਬੇਲ। 7. ਫ਼ਾ. [بیل] ਕੁਦਾਲ. ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਖੋਦਣ ਦਾ ਸੰਦ। 8. ਵੇੱਲਾ (ਬੇੱਲਾ). ਨਦੀ ਆਦਿ ਦੇ ਕਿਨਾਰੇ ਦਾ ਸੰਘਣਾ ਜੰਗਲ. ਝੱਲ। 9. ਦੇਖੋ- ਬਿਲ 4. Footnotes:
