1. ਬੁਰਾ ਭਲਾ ਨ ਪਛਾਣਈ ਵਣਜਾਰਿਆ ਮਿਤ੍ਰਾ ਮਨੁ ਮਤਾ ਅਹੰਮੇਇ ॥ Raga Sireeraag 5, Pahray 4, 2:2 (P: 77).
ਮਨ ਅਪੁਨੇ ਤੇ ਬੁਰਾ ਮਿਟਾਨਾ ॥ (ਬੁਰਾ ਮੰਗਣਾ). Raga Gaurhee 5, Sukhmanee 3, 6:7 (P: 266).
ਉਦਾਹਰਨ:
ਬੁਰਾ ਭਲਾ ਜੇ ਸਮ ਕਰਿ ਜਾਣੈ ਇਨ ਬਿਧਿ ਸਾਹਿਬੁ ਰਮਤੁ ਰਹੈ ॥ (ਭਾਵ ਚੰਗੇ ਮਾੜੇ ਨੂੰ, ਦੁਖ ਸੁਖ ਨੂੰ, ਵੈਰੀ ਮਿੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ). Raga Aaasaa 1, Patee, 8:2 (P: 432).
2. ਤਾਹੂ ਬੁਰਾ ਨਿਕਟਿ ਨਹੀ ਆਵੈ ॥ Raga Gaurhee 5, Baavan Akhree, 39:4 (P: 258).
ਪਰ ਕੇ ਬੁਰਾ ਨ ਰਾਖਹੁ ਚੀਤ ॥ Raga Aaasaa 5, 62, 3:1 (P: 386).
