Ja-y-ḋév. ਕਨੌਜ ਨਿਵਾਸੀ ਭੋਜਦੇਵ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਮੂਲ ਰੂਪ ਵਿਚ ਵੈਸ਼ਨਵ ਤੇ ਕ੍ਵਿਸ਼ਨ ਉਪਾਸ਼ਕ ਸੀ, ਤਤਵੇਤਾ ਸਾਧੂਆਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤ ਕਾਰਨ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਭਗਤ ਹੋਇਆ, ਅਧਿਕ ਸਮਾਂ ਬੰਗਾਲ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ ਗੁਜਾਰਿਆ ਗੀਤ ਗੋਵਿੰਦ ਇਸ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ ਰਚਨਾ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਦੇ ਦੋ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਰਾਗ ਗੂਜਰੀ ਤੇ ਮਾਰੂ ਵਿਚ ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਚ ਦਰਜ ਹਨ। ਹੋਰ ਵੇਖੋ ‘ਜੈਦੇਵ’। son of Bhojdev, a resident of Kanauj whose supreme writing is Geet Gobind.
