Agæ. (1). ਅਗੇ, ਉਹ ਸਥਾਨ ਜੋ ਅਗੇ ਆਉਣਾ ਹੈ ਭਾਵ ਪਰਲੋਕ। 2. ਸਾਹਮਣੇ, ਅਗੇ, ਹਜੂਰ। 3. ਅਗੋਂ। 4. ਅਗੈ, ਅਗਾੜੀ। 1. in future, place which is to ahead i.e. next world. 2. place before, before, infront. 3. there after, for the future. 4. in front.
ਉਦਾਹਰਨਾ:
1. ਨਾਨਕ ਜੇ ਕੋ ਆਪੌ ਜਾਣੈ ਅਗੈ ਗਇਆ ਨ ਸੋਹੈ ॥ Japujee, Guru Nanak Dev, 21:18 (P: 5).
2. ਫੇਰਿ ਕਿ ਅਗੈ ਰਖੀਐ ਜਿਤੁ ਦਿਸੈ ਦਰਬਾਰੁ ॥ Japujee, Guru Nanak Dev, 4:3 (P: 2).
3. ਅਗੈ ਸੰਗਤੀ ਕੁੜਮੀ ਵੇਮੁਖ ਰਲਣਾ ਨ ਮਿਲੈ ਤਾ ਵਹੁਟੀ ਭਤੀਜੀ ਫਿਰਿ ਆਣਿ ਘਰਿ ਪਾਇਆ ॥ Raga Gaurhee 4, Vaar 12, Salok, 4, 1:5 (P: 306).
4. ਤ੍ਰੇਤੈ ਰਥੁ ਜਤੈ ਕਾ ਜੋਰੁ ਅਗੈ ਰਥਵਾਹੁ ॥ Raga Aaasaa 1, Vaar 13, Salok, 1, 1:4 (P: 470).
