ਪੰਨਾ 26, ਸਤਰ 11 ਗੁਰ ਮਿਲਿਐ ਨਾਮੁ ਪਾਈਐ ਚੂਕੈ ਮੋਹ ਪਿਆਸ ॥ गुर मिलिऐ नामु पाईऐ चूकै मोह पिआस ॥ Gur mili▫ai nām pā▫ī▫ai cẖūkai moh pi▫ās. Meeting with the Guru, the Naam is obtained, and the thirst of emotional attachment departs. ਮਃ 3   -  view Shabad/Paurhi/Salok

ਪੰਨਾ 26, ਸਤਰ 15 ਗੁਰ ਕੈ ਸਬਦਿ ਮਨੁ ਜੀਤਿਆ ਗਤਿ ਮੁਕਤਿ ਘਰੈ ਮਹਿ ਪਾਇ ॥ गुर कै सबदि मनु जीतिआ गति मुकति घरै महि पाइ ॥ Gur kai sabaḏ man jīṯi▫ā gaṯ mukaṯ gẖarai mėh pā▫e. ਪੰਨਾ 30, ਸਤਰ 13 ਤ੍ਰੈ ਗੁਣ ਮਾਇਆ ਮੋਹੁ ਹੈ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਚਉਥਾ ਪਦੁ ਪਾਇ ॥ त्रै गुण माइआ मोहु है गुरमुखि चउथा पदु पाइ ॥ Ŧarai guṇ mā▫i▫ā moh hai gurmukẖ cẖa▫uthā paḏ pā▫e. ਪੰਨਾ 30, ਸਤਰ 17 ਬਿਨੁ ਗੁਰ ਮਹਲੁ ਨ ਪਾਈਐ ਨਾਮੁ ਨ ਪਰਾਪਤਿ ਹੋਇ ॥ बिनु गुर महलु न पाईऐ नामु न परापति होइ ॥ Bin gur mahal na pā▫ī▫ai nām na parāpaṯ ho▫e. Without the Guru, the Mansion of the Lord's Presence is not found, and the Naam is not obtained. ਮਃ 3   -  view Shabad/Paurhi/Salok

ਪੰਨਾ 31, ਸਤਰ 8 ਨਾਨਕ ਨਦਰੀ ਪਾਈਐ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਮੇਲਿ ਮਿਲਾਉ ॥੪॥੧੨॥੪੫॥ नानक नदरी पाईऐ गुरमुखि मेलि मिलाउ ॥४॥१२॥४५॥ Nānak naḏrī pā▫ī▫ai gurmukẖ mel milā▫o. ||4||12||45|| O Nanak, by His Glance of Grace He is found; the Gurmukh is united in His Union. ||4||12||45|| ਮਃ 3   -  view Shabad/Paurhi/Salok

ਪੰਨਾ 34, ਸਤਰ 18 ਜੋ ਜਾਗੇ ਸੇ ਉਬਰੇ ਸੂਤੇ ਗਏ ਮੁਹਾਇ ॥ जो जागे से उबरे सूते गए मुहाइ ॥ Jo jāge se ubre sūṯe ga▫e muhā▫e. Those who remain awake and aware are saved, while those who sleep are plundered. ਮਃ 3   -  view Shabad/Paurhi/Salok

ਪੰਨਾ 40, ਸਤਰ 12 ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਸਜਣੁ ਗੁਣਕਾਰੀਆ ਮਿਲਿ ਸਜਣ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਇ ॥ गुरमुखि सजणु गुणकारीआ मिलि सजण हरि गुण गाइ ॥ Gurmukẖ sajaṇ guṇkārī▫ā mil sajaṇ har guṇ gā▫e. The Gurmukhs, my spiritual friends, bestow virtue. Meeting with my spiritual friends, I sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord. ਮਃ 4   -  view Shabad/Paurhi/Salok

ਪੰਨਾ 41, ਸਤਰ 4 ਨਿਮਾਣਿਆ ਗੁਰੁ ਮਾਣੁ ਹੈ ਗੁਰੁ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਕਰੇ ਸਾਬਾਸਿ ॥ निमाणिआ गुरु माणु है गुरु सतिगुरु करे साबासि ॥ Nimāṇi▫ā gur māṇ hai gur saṯgur kare sābās. The Guru is the Honor of the dishonored. The Guru, the True Guru, brings approval and applause. ਮਃ 4   -  view Shabad/Paurhi/Salok

ਪੰਨਾ 41, ਸਤਰ 18 ਗੁੜੁ ਮਿਠਾ ਮਾਇਆ ਪਸਰਿਆ ਮਨਮੁਖੁ ਲਗਿ ਮਾਖੀ ਪਚੈ ਪਚਾਇ ॥੧॥ गुड़ु मिठा माइआ पसरिआ मनमुखु लगि माखी पचै पचाइ ॥१॥ Guṛ miṯẖā mā▫i▫ā pasri▫ā manmukẖ lag mākẖī pacẖai pacẖā▫e. ||1|| Maya spreads out like sweet molasses; the self-willed manmukh is stuck like a fly, rotting away. ||1|| ਮਃ 4   -  view Shabad/Paurhi/Salok

ਪੰਨਾ 49, ਸਤਰ 15 ਦੂਜਾ ਥਾਉ ਨ ਕੋ ਸੁਝੈ ਗੁਰ ਮੇਲੇ ਸਚੁ ਸੋਇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ दूजा थाउ न को सुझै गुर मेले सचु सोइ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Ḏūjā thā▫o na ko sujẖai gur mele sacẖ so▫e. ||1|| rahā▫o. I cannot imagine any other place. The Guru leads me to meet the True Lord. ||1||Pause|| ਮਃ 5   -  view Shabad/Paurhi/Salok

ਪੰਨਾ 50, ਸਤਰ 19 ਗੁਰ ਮਿਲਿ ਚਜੁ ਅਚਾਰੁ ਸਿਖੁ ਤੁਧੁ ਕਦੇ ਨ ਲਗੈ ਦੁਖੁ ॥੩॥ गुर मिलि चजु अचारु सिखु तुधु कदे न लगै दुखु ॥३॥ Gur mil cẖaj acẖār sikẖ ṯuḏẖ kaḏe na lagai ḏukẖ. ||3|| Meeting with the Guru, be a sincere student of proper conduct, and suffering shall never touch you. ||3|| ਮਃ 5   -  view Shabad/Paurhi/Salok

ਪੰਨਾ 51, ਸਤਰ 4 ਦੁਖੁ ਕਲੇਸੁ ਨ ਭਉ ਬਿਆਪੈ ਗੁਰ ਮੰਤ੍ਰੁ ਹਿਰਦੈ ਹੋਇ ॥ दुखु कलेसु न भउ बिआपै गुर मंत्रु हिरदै होइ ॥ Ḏukẖ kales na bẖa▫o bi▫āpai gur manṯar hirḏai ho▫e. Suffering, agony and fear do not cling to one whose heart is filled with the GurMantra. ਮਃ 5   -  view Shabad/Paurhi/Salok

ਪੰਨਾ 58, ਸਤਰ 18 ਇਕਤੁ ਤਾਗੈ ਰਲਿ ਮਿਲੈ ਗਲਿ ਮੋਤੀਅਨ ਕਾ ਹਾਰੁ ॥ इकतु तागै रलि मिलै गलि मोतीअन का हारु ॥ Ikaṯ ṯāgai ral milai gal moṯī▫an kā hār. They are woven into one texture, like pearls on a necklace around the neck. ਮਃ 1   -  view Shabad/Paurhi/Salok

ਪੰਨਾ 311, ਸਤਰ 1 ਇਹੁ ਹਰਿ ਰਸੁ ਸੇਈ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਜਿਉ ਗੂੰਗੈ ਮਿਠਿਆਈ ਖਾਈ ॥ इहु हरि रसु सेई जाणदे जिउ गूंगै मिठिआई खाई ॥ Ih har ras se▫ī jāṇḏe ji▫o gūʼngai miṯẖi▫ā▫ī kẖā▫ī. ਪੰਨਾ 317, ਸਤਰ 15 ਜਿ ਠਗੀ ਆਵੈ ਠਗੀ ਉਠਿ ਜਾਇ ਤਿਸੁ ਨੇੜੈ ਗੁਰਸਿਖੁ ਮੂਲਿ ਨ ਆਵੈ ॥ जि ठगी आवै ठगी उठि जाइ तिसु नेड़ै गुरसिखु मूलि न आवै ॥ Jė ṯẖagī āvai ṯẖagī uṯẖ jā▫e ṯis neṛai gursikẖ mūl na āvai.
