ਪੰਨਾ 17, ਸਤਰ 1 ਹੁਕਮੁ ਸੋਈ ਤੁਧੁ ਭਾਵਸੀ ਹੋਰੁ ਆਖਣੁ ਬਹੁਤੁ ਅਪਾਰੁ ॥ हुकमु सोई तुधु भावसी होरु आखणु बहुतु अपारु ॥ Hukam so▫ī ṯuḏẖ bẖāvsī hor ākẖaṇ bahuṯ apār. The Hukam of Your Command is the pleasure of Your Will, Lord. To say anything else is far beyond anyone's reach. ਮਃ 1   -  view Shabad/Paurhi/Salok

ਪੰਨਾ 39, ਸਤਰ 4 ਜਿਉ ਬੋਲਾਏ ਤਿਉ ਬੋਲੀਐ ਜਾ ਆਪਿ ਬੁਲਾਏ ਸੋਇ ॥ जिउ बोलाए तिउ बोलीऐ जा आपि बुलाए सोइ ॥ Ji▫o bolā▫e ṯi▫o bolī▫ai jā āp bulā▫e so▫e. I speak just as He makes me speak, when He Himself makes me speak. ਮਃ 3   -  view Shabad/Paurhi/Salok

ਪੰਨਾ 69, ਸਤਰ 6 ਲਖ ਚਉਰਾਸੀਹ ਫਿਰਿ ਫਿਰਿ ਆਵੈ ਬਿਰਥਾ ਜਨਮੁ ਗਵਾਇਆ ॥੪॥ लख चउरासीह फिरि फिरि आवै बिरथा जनमु गवाइआ ॥४॥ Lakẖ cẖa▫orāsīh fir fir āvai birthā janam gavā▫i▫ā. ||4|| Through 8.4 million lifetimes, they wander over and over again; they waste away their lives in vain. ||4|| ਮਃ 3   -  view Shabad/Paurhi/Salok

ਪੰਨਾ 80, ਸਤਰ 14 ਤੇਰੇ ਬਚਨ ਅਨੂਪ ਅਪਾਰ ਸੰਤਨ ਆਧਾਰ ਬਾਣੀ ਬੀਚਾਰੀਐ ਜੀਉ ॥ तेरे बचन अनूप अपार संतन आधार बाणी बीचारीऐ जीउ ॥ Ŧere bacẖan anūp apār sanṯan āḏẖār baṇī bīcẖārī▫ai jī▫o. ਪੰਨਾ 89, ਸਤਰ 15 ਹਰਿ ਆਪਿ ਬਹਿ ਕਰੇ ਨਿਆਉ ਕੂੜਿਆਰ ਸਭ ਮਾਰਿ ਕਢੋਇ ॥ हरि आपि बहि करे निआउ कूड़िआर सभ मारि कढोइ ॥ Har āp bahi kare ni▫ā▫o kūṛi▫ār sabẖ mār kadẖo▫e. The Lord Himself sits upon His Throne and administers justice. He beats and drives out the false-hearted. ਮਃ 4   -  view Shabad/Paurhi/Salok

ਪੰਨਾ 90, ਸਤਰ 11 ਸਭਿ ਅਉਗਣ ਗੁਣੀ ਮਿਟਾਇਆ ਗੁਰੁ ਆਪੇ ਬਖਸਣਹਾਰੁ ॥੨॥ सभि अउगण गुणी मिटाइआ गुरु आपे बखसणहारु ॥२॥ Sabẖ a▫ugaṇ guṇī mitā▫i▫ā gur āpe bakẖsaṇhār. ||2|| All their demerits are erased, and replaced with merits. The Guru Himself is their Forgiver. ||2|| ਮਃ 3   -  view Shabad/Paurhi/Salok

ਪੰਨਾ 96, ਸਤਰ 15 ਤ੍ਰਿਖਾ ਨ ਉਤਰੈ ਸਾਂਤਿ ਨ ਆਵੈ ਬਿਨੁ ਦਰਸਨ ਸੰਤ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਜੀਉ ॥੧॥ त्रिखा न उतरै सांति न आवै बिनु दरसन संत पिआरे जीउ ॥१॥ Ŧarikẖā na uṯrai sāʼnṯ na āvai bin ḏarsan sanṯ pi▫āre jī▫o. ||1|| My thirst is not quenched, and I can find no peace, without the Blessed Vision of the Beloved Saint. ||1|| ਮਃ 5   -  view Shabad/Paurhi/Salok

ਪੰਨਾ 97, ਸਤਰ 1 ਮੋਹਿ ਰੈਣਿ ਨ ਵਿਹਾਵੈ ਨੀਦ ਨ ਆਵੈ ਬਿਨੁ ਦੇਖੇ ਗੁਰ ਦਰਬਾਰੇ ਜੀਉ ॥੩॥ मोहि रैणि न विहावै नीद न आवै बिनु देखे गुर दरबारे जीउ ॥३॥ Mohi raiṇ na vihāvai nīḏ na āvai bin ḏekẖe gur ḏarbāre jī▫o. ||3|| I cannot endure the night, and sleep does not come, without the Sight of the Beloved Guru's Court. ||3|| ਮਃ 5   -  view Shabad/Paurhi/Salok

ਪੰਨਾ 111, ਸਤਰ 3 ਆਪੇ ਬਖਸਿ ਲਏ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਸਾਚਾ ਆਪੇ ਬਖਸਿ ਮਿਲਾਵਣਿਆ ॥੭॥ आपे बखसि लए प्रभु साचा आपे बखसि मिलावणिआ ॥७॥ Āpe bakẖas la▫e parabẖ sācẖā āpe bakẖas milāvaṇi▫ā. ||7|| The True Lord God Himself forgives, and having forgiven, He unites them with Himself. ||7|| ਮਃ 3   -  view Shabad/Paurhi/Salok

ਪੰਨਾ 111, ਸਤਰ 13 ਆਪੇ ਬਖਸਿਹਿ ਦੇ ਵਡਿਆਈ ॥ आपे बखसिहि दे वडिआई ॥ Āpe bakẖsihi ḏe vadi▫ā▫ī. You Yourself forgive us, and bless us with Glorious Greatness. ਮਃ 3   -  view Shabad/Paurhi/Salok

ਪੰਨਾ 112, ਸਤਰ 12 ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਹੋਵੈ ਸੋਈ ਪਾਏ ਆਪੇ ਬਖਸਿ ਮਿਲਾਵਣਿਆ ॥੨॥ गुरमुखि होवै सोई पाए आपे बखसि मिलावणिआ ॥२॥ Gurmukẖ hovai so▫ī pā▫e āpe bakẖas milāvaṇi▫ā. ||2|| He alone becomes Gurmukh and obtains it, whom the Lord forgives, and unites with Himself. ||2|| ਮਃ 3   -  view Shabad/Paurhi/Salok

ਪੰਨਾ 116, ਸਤਰ 13 ਆਪੇ ਬਖਸੇ ਮੇਲਿ ਮਿਲਾਏ ॥ आपे बखसे मेलि मिलाए ॥ Āpe bakẖse mel milā▫e. He Himself forgives and unites in His Union. ਮਃ 3   -  view Shabad/Paurhi/Salok

ਪੰਨਾ 118, ਸਤਰ 10 ਜੇਹਾ ਅੰਦਰਿ ਪਾਏ ਤੇਹਾ ਵਰਤੈ ਆਪੇ ਬਾਹਰਿ ਪਾਵਣਿਆ ॥੭॥ जेहा अंदरि पाए तेहा वरतै आपे बाहरि पावणिआ ॥७॥ Jehā anḏar pā▫e ṯehā varṯai āpe bāhar pāvṇi▫ā. ||7|| Whatever He places within them, that is what prevails, and so they outwardly appear. ||7|| ਮਃ 3   -  view Shabad/Paurhi/Salok

ਪੰਨਾ 120, ਸਤਰ 11 ਤਿਸੁ ਰੂਪੁ ਨ ਰੇਖਿਆ ਵਰਨੁ ਨ ਕੋਈ ਗੁਰਮਤੀ ਆਪਿ ਬੁਝਾਵਣਿਆ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ तिसु रूपु न रेखिआ वरनु न कोई गुरमती आपि बुझावणिआ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Ŧis rūp na rekẖ▫i▫ā varan na ko▫ī gurmaṯī āp bujẖāvaṇi▫ā. ||1|| rahā▫o. ਪੰਨਾ 125, ਸਤਰ 11 ਆਪੇ ਫਰਕੁ ਕੀਤੋਨੁ ਘਟ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਆਪੇ ਬਣਤ ਬਣਾਵਣਿਆ ॥੧॥ आपे फरकु कीतोनु घट अंतरि आपे बणत बणावणिआ ॥१॥ Āpe farak kīṯon gẖat anṯar āpe baṇaṯ baṇāvaṇi▫ā. ||1|| He Himself instills the sense of separation within our hearts; He Himself created the Creation. ||1|| ਮਃ 3   -  view Shabad/Paurhi/Salok

ਪੰਨਾ 129, ਸਤਰ 15 ਮਨਮੁਖਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਚਿਤਿ ਨ ਆਵੈ ਬਿਨੁ ਨਾਵੈ ਬਹੁ ਦੁਖੁ ਪਾਵਣਿਆ ॥੭॥ मनमुखि नामु चिति न आवै बिनु नावै बहु दुखु पावणिआ ॥७॥ Manmukẖ nām cẖiṯ na āvai bin nāvai baho ḏukẖ pāvṇi▫ā. ||7|| The self-willed manmukhs do not remember the Naam. ਪੰਨਾ 135, ਸਤਰ 13 ਮੰਘਿਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਆਰਾਧਣਾ ਬਹੁੜਿ ਨ ਜਨਮੜੀਆਹ ॥੧੦॥ मंघिरि प्रभु आराधणा बहुड़ि न जनमड़ीआह ॥१०॥ Mangẖir parabẖ ārāḏẖaṇā bahuṛ na janamṛī▫āh. ||10|| Those who worship and adore God in Maghar, do not suffer the cycle of reincarnation ever again. ||10|| ਮਃ 5   -  view Shabad/Paurhi/Salok

ਪੰਨਾ 142, ਸਤਰ 18 ਦੁਇ ਪੁੜ ਚਕੀ ਜੋੜਿ ਕੈ ਪੀਸਣ ਆਇ ਬਹਿਠੁ ॥ दुइ पुड़ चकी जोड़ि कै पीसण आइ बहिठु ॥ Ḏu▫e puṛ cẖakī joṛ kai pīsaṇ ā▫e bahiṯẖ. Placing the kernels between the two mill-stones, people sit and grind the corn. ਮਃ 1   -  view Shabad/Paurhi/Salok

ਪੰਨਾ 143, ਸਤਰ 17 ਗਣਤ ਤਿਨਾ ਦੀ ਕੋ ਕਿਆ ਕਰੇ ਜੋ ਆਪਿ ਬਖਸੇ ਕਰਤਾਰਿ ॥੧੨॥ गणत तिना दी को किआ करे जो आपि बखसे करतारि ॥१२॥ Gaṇaṯ ṯinā ḏī ko ki▫ā kare jo āp bakẖse karṯār. ||12|| Who can estimate the value of those who have been forgiven by the Creator Lord Himself? ||12|| ਮਃ 1   -  view Shabad/Paurhi/Salok

ਪੰਨਾ 150, ਸਤਰ 13 ਦੀਖਿਆ ਆਖਿ ਬੁਝਾਇਆ ਸਿਫਤੀ ਸਚਿ ਸਮੇਉ ॥ दीखिआ आखि बुझाइआ सिफती सचि समेउ ॥ Ḏīkẖi▫ā ākẖ bujẖā▫i▫ā sifṯī sacẖ same▫o. Those who have accepted the Guru's Teachings, and who have found the path, remain absorbed in the Praises of the True Lord. ਮਃ 2   -  view Shabad/Paurhi/Salok

ਪੰਨਾ 150, ਸਤਰ 14 ਆਪਿ ਬੁਝਾਏ ਸੋਈ ਬੂਝੈ ॥ आपि बुझाए सोई बूझै ॥ Āp bujẖā▫e so▫ī būjẖai. We understand the Lord only when He Himself inspires us to understand Him. ਮਃ 1   -  view Shabad/Paurhi/Salok

ਪੰਨਾ 151, ਸਤਰ 13 ਨਾਨਕ ਆਖਣੁ ਬਿਖਮੁ ਬੀਚਾਰੁ ॥੪॥੨॥ नानक आखणु बिखमु बीचारु ॥४॥२॥ Nānak ākẖaṇ bikẖam bīcẖār. ||4||2|| O Nanak, it is so difficult to describe and contemplate Him. ||4||2|| ਮਃ 1   -  view Shabad/Paurhi/Salok

ਪੰਨਾ 1422, ਸਤਰ 14 ਤਿਨ ਬਹਦਿਆ ਉਠਦਿਆ ਕਦੇ ਨ ਵਿਸਰੈ ਜਿ ਆਪਿ ਬਖਸੇ ਕਰਤਾਰਿ ॥ तिन बहदिआ उठदिआ कदे न विसरै जि आपि बखसे करतारि ॥ Ŧin bahḏi▫ā uṯẖ▫ḏi▫ā kaḏe na visrai jė āp bakẖse karṯār. Sitting down and standing up, they never forget the Creator, who forgives them. ਮਃ 4   -  view Shabad/Paurhi/Salok
