ਨਾਨਕ ਸੇ ਦਰਿ ਸੋਭਾਵੰਤੇ ਜੋ ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਅਪੁਨੈ ਕੀਓ ॥੧॥
नानक से दरि सोभावंते जो प्रभि अपुनै कीओ ॥१॥
Nānak se ḏar sobẖāvanṯe jo parabẖ apunai kī▫o. ||1||
O Nanak, they alone look beautiful in the Court of the Lord, whom the Lord has made His Own. ||1||

ਹਰਿਚੰਦਉਰੀ ਚਿਤ ਭ੍ਰਮੁ ਸਖੀਏ ਮ੍ਰਿਗ ਤ੍ਰਿਸਨਾ ਦ੍ਰੁਮ ਛਾਇਆ
हरिचंदउरी चित भ्रमु सखीए म्रिग त्रिसना द्रुम छाइआ ॥
Haricẖanḏ▫urī cẖiṯ bẖaram sakẖī▫e marig ṯarisnā ḏarum cẖẖā▫i▫ā.
Maya is a mirage, which deludes the mind, O my companion, like the scent-crazed deer, or the transitory shade of a tree.

ਚੰਚਲਿ ਸੰਗਿ ਚਾਲਤੀ ਸਖੀਏ ਅੰਤਿ ਤਜਿ ਜਾਵਤ ਮਾਇਆ
चंचलि संगि न चालती सखीए अंति तजि जावत माइआ ॥
Cẖancẖal sang na cẖālṯī sakẖī▫e anṯ ṯaj jāvaṯ mā▫i▫ā.
Maya is fickle, and does not go with you, O my companion; in the end, it will leave you.

ਰਸਿ ਭੋਗਣ ਅਤਿ ਰੂਪ ਰਸ ਮਾਤੇ ਇਨ ਸੰਗਿ ਸੂਖੁ ਪਾਇਆ
रसि भोगण अति रूप रस माते इन संगि सूखु न पाइआ ॥
Ras bẖogaṇ aṯ rūp ras māṯe in sang sūkẖ na pā▫i▫ā.
He may enjoy pleasures and sensual delights with supremely beautiful women, but no one finds peace in this way.

ਧੰਨਿ ਧੰਨਿ ਹਰਿ ਸਾਧ ਜਨ ਸਖੀਏ ਨਾਨਕ ਜਿਨੀ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਇਆ ॥੨॥
धंनि धंनि हरि साध जन सखीए नानक जिनी नामु धिआइआ ॥२॥
Ḏẖan ḏẖan har sāḏẖ jan sakẖī▫e Nānak jinī nām ḏẖi▫ā▫i▫ā. ||2||
Blessed, blessed are the humble, Holy Saints of the Lord, O my companion. O Nanak, they meditate on the Naam, the Name of the Lord. ||2||

ਜਾਇ ਬਸਹੁ ਵਡਭਾਗਣੀ ਸਖੀਏ ਸੰਤਾ ਸੰਗਿ ਸਮਾਈਐ
जाइ बसहु वडभागणी सखीए संता संगि समाईऐ ॥
Jā▫e bashu vadbẖāgṇī sakẖī▫e sanṯā sang samā▫ī▫ai.
Go, O my very fortunate companion: dwell in the Company of the Saints, and merge with the Lord.

ਤਹ ਦੂਖ ਭੂਖ ਰੋਗੁ ਬਿਆਪੈ ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਈਐ
तह दूख न भूख न रोगु बिआपै चरन कमल लिव लाईऐ ॥
Ŧah ḏūkẖ na bẖūkẖ na rog bi▫āpai cẖaran kamal liv lā▫ī▫ai.
There, neither pain nor hunger nor disease will afflict you; enshrine love for the Lord's Lotus Feet.

ਤਹ ਜਨਮ ਮਰਣੁ ਆਵਣ ਜਾਣਾ ਨਿਹਚਲੁ ਸਰਣੀ ਪਾਈਐ
तह जनम न मरणु न आवण जाणा निहचलु सरणी पाईऐ ॥
Ŧah janam na maraṇ na āvaṇ jāṇā nihcẖal sarṇī pā▫ī▫ai.
There is no birth or death there, no coming or going in reincarnation, when you enter the Sanctuary of the Eternal Lord.

ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਬਿਛੋਹੁ ਮੋਹੁ ਬਿਆਪੈ ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਏਕੁ ਧਿਆਈਐ ॥੩॥
प्रेम बिछोहु न मोहु बिआपै नानक हरि एकु धिआईऐ ॥३॥
Parem bicẖẖohu na moh bi▫āpai Nānak har ek ḏẖi▫ā▫ī▫ai. ||3||
Love does not end, and attachment does not grip you, O Nanak, when you meditate on the One Lord. ||3||

ਦ੍ਰਿਸਟਿ ਧਾਰਿ ਮਨੁ ਬੇਧਿਆ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਰਤੜੇ ਸਹਜਿ ਸੁਭਾਏ
द्रिसटि धारि मनु बेधिआ पिआरे रतड़े सहजि सुभाए ॥
Ḏarisat ḏẖār man beḏẖi▫ā pi▫āre raṯ▫ṛe sahj subẖā▫e.
Bestowing His Glance of Grace, my Beloved has pierced my mind, and I am intuitively attuned to His Love.

ਸੇਜ ਸੁਹਾਵੀ ਸੰਗਿ ਮਿਲਿ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਅਨਦ ਮੰਗਲ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਏ
सेज सुहावी संगि मिलि प्रीतम अनद मंगल गुण गाए ॥
Sej suhāvī sang mil parīṯam anaḏ mangal guṇ gā▫e.
My bed is embellished, meeting with my Beloved; in ecstasy and bliss, I sing His Glorious Praises.

ਸਖੀ ਸਹੇਲੀ ਰਾਮ ਰੰਗਿ ਰਾਤੀ ਮਨ ਤਨ ਇਛ ਪੁਜਾਏ
सखी सहेली राम रंगि राती मन तन इछ पुजाए ॥
Sakẖī sahelī rām rang rāṯī man ṯan icẖẖ pujā▫e.
O my friends and companions, I am imbued with the Lord's Love; the desires of my mind and body are satisfied.

ਨਾਨਕ ਅਚਰਜੁ ਅਚਰਜ ਸਿਉ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਕਹਣਾ ਕਛੂ ਜਾਏ ॥੪॥੨॥੫॥
नानक अचरजु अचरज सिउ मिलिआ कहणा कछू न जाए ॥४॥२॥५॥
Nānak acẖraj acẖraj si▫o mili▫ā kahṇā kacẖẖū na jā▫e. ||4||2||5||
O Nanak, the wonder-struck soul blends with the Wonderful Lord; this state cannot be described. ||4||2||5||

ਰਾਗੁ ਬਿਲਾਵਲੁ ਮਹਲਾ ਘਰੁ
रागु बिलावलु महला ५ घरु ४
Rāg bilāval mėhlā 5 gẖar 4
Raag Bilaaval, Fifth Mehl, Fourth House:

ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ
ੴ सतिगुर प्रसादि ॥
Ik▫oaʼnkār saṯgur parsāḏ.
One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:

ਏਕ ਰੂਪ ਸਗਲੋ ਪਾਸਾਰਾ
एक रूप सगलो पासारा ॥
Ėk rūp saglo pāsārā.
The entire Universe is the form of the One Lord.

ਆਪੇ ਬਨਜੁ ਆਪਿ ਬਿਉਹਾਰਾ ॥੧॥
आपे बनजु आपि बिउहारा ॥१॥
Āpe banaj āp bi▫uhārā. ||1||
He Himself is the trade, and He Himself is the trader. ||1||

ਐਸੋ ਗਿਆਨੁ ਬਿਰਲੋ ਪਾਏ
ऐसो गिआनु बिरलो ई पाए ॥
Aiso gi▫ān birlo ī pā▫e.
How rare is that one who is blessed with such spiritual wisdom.

ਜਤ ਜਤ ਜਾਈਐ ਤਤ ਦ੍ਰਿਸਟਾਏ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ
जत जत जाईऐ तत द्रिसटाए ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Jaṯ jaṯ jā▫ī▫ai ṯaṯ ḏaristā▫e. ||1|| rahā▫o.
Wherever I go, there I see Him. ||1||Pause||

ਅਨਿਕ ਰੰਗ ਨਿਰਗੁਨ ਇਕ ਰੰਗਾ
अनिक रंग निरगुन इक रंगा ॥
Anik rang nirgun ik rangā.
He manifests many forms, while still unmanifest and absolute, and yet He has One Form.

ਆਪੇ ਜਲੁ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਤਰੰਗਾ ॥੨॥
आपे जलु आप ही तरंगा ॥२॥
Āpe jal āp hī ṯarangā. ||2||
He Himself is the water, and He Himself is the waves. ||2||

ਆਪ ਹੀ ਮੰਦਰੁ ਆਪਹਿ ਸੇਵਾ
आप ही मंदरु आपहि सेवा ॥
Āp hī manḏar āpėh sevā.
He Himself is the temple, and He Himself is selfless service.

ਆਪ ਹੀ ਪੂਜਾਰੀ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਦੇਵਾ ॥੩॥
आप ही पूजारी आप ही देवा ॥३॥
Āp hī pūjārī āp hī ḏevā. ||3||
He Himself is the worshipper, and He Himself is the idol. ||3||

ਆਪਹਿ ਜੋਗ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਜੁਗਤਾ
आपहि जोग आप ही जुगता ॥
Āpėh jog āp hī jugṯā.
He Himself is the Yoga; He Himself is the Way.

ਨਾਨਕ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸਦ ਹੀ ਮੁਕਤਾ ॥੪॥੧॥੬॥
नानक के प्रभ सद ही मुकता ॥४॥१॥६॥
Nānak ke parabẖ saḏ hī mukṯā. ||4||1||6||
Nanak's God is forever liberated. ||4||1||6||

ਬਿਲਾਵਲੁ ਮਹਲਾ
बिलावलु महला ५ ॥
Bilāval mėhlā 5.
Bilaaval, Fifth Mehl:

ਆਪਿ ਉਪਾਵਨ ਆਪਿ ਸਧਰਨਾ
आपि उपावन आपि सधरना ॥
Āp upāvan āp saḏẖarnā.
He Himself creates, and He Himself supports.

ਆਪਿ ਕਰਾਵਨ ਦੋਸੁ ਲੈਨਾ ॥੧॥
आपि करावन दोसु न लैना ॥१॥
Āp karāvan ḏos na lainā. ||1||
He Himself causes all to act; He takes no blame Himself. ||1||

ਆਪਨ ਬਚਨੁ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਕਰਨਾ
आपन बचनु आप ही करना ॥
Āpan bacẖan āp hī karnā.
He Himself is the teaching, and He Himself is the teacher.

ਆਪਨ ਬਿਭਉ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਜਰਨਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ
आपन बिभउ आप ही जरना ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Āpan bibẖa▫o āp hī jarnā. ||1|| rahā▫o.
He Himself is the splendor, and He Himself is the experiencer of it. ||1||Pause||

ਆਪ ਹੀ ਮਸਟਿ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਬੁਲਨਾ
आप ही मसटि आप ही बुलना ॥
Āp hī masat āp hī bulnā.
He Himself is silent, and He Himself is the speaker.

ਆਪ ਹੀ ਅਛਲੁ ਜਾਈ ਛਲਨਾ ॥੨॥
आप ही अछलु न जाई छलना ॥२॥
Āp hī acẖẖal na jā▫ī cẖẖalnā. ||2||
He Himself is undeceivable; He cannot be deceived. ||2||

ਆਪ ਹੀ ਗੁਪਤ ਆਪਿ ਪਰਗਟਨਾ
आप ही गुपत आपि परगटना ॥
Āp hī gupaṯ āp pargatnā.
He Himself is hidden, and He Himself is manifest.

ਆਪ ਹੀ ਘਟਿ ਘਟਿ ਆਪਿ ਅਲਿਪਨਾ ॥੩॥
आप ही घटि घटि आपि अलिपना ॥३॥
Āp hī gẖat gẖat āp alipanā. ||3||
He Himself is in each and every heart; He Himself is unattached. ||3||

ਆਪੇ ਅਵਿਗਤੁ ਆਪ ਸੰਗਿ ਰਚਨਾ
आपे अविगतु आप संगि रचना ॥
Āpe avigaṯ āp sang racẖnā.
He Himself is absolute, and He Himself is with the Universe.

ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੇ ਸਭਿ ਜਚਨਾ ॥੪॥੨॥੭॥
कहु नानक प्रभ के सभि जचना ॥४॥२॥७॥
Kaho Nānak parabẖ ke sabẖ jacẖnā. ||4||2||7||
Says Nanak, all are beggars of God. ||4||2||7||

ਬਿਲਾਵਲੁ ਮਹਲਾ
बिलावलु महला ५ ॥
Bilāval mėhlā 5.
Bilaaval, Fifth Mehl:

ਭੂਲੇ ਮਾਰਗੁ ਜਿਨਹਿ ਬਤਾਇਆ
भूले मारगु जिनहि बताइआ ॥
Bẖūle mārag jinėh baṯā▫i▫ā.
He places the one who strays back on the Path;

ਐਸਾ ਗੁਰੁ ਵਡਭਾਗੀ ਪਾਇਆ ॥੧॥
ऐसा गुरु वडभागी पाइआ ॥१॥
Aisā gur vadbẖāgī pā▫i▫ā. ||1||
such a Guru is found by great good fortune. ||1||

ਸਿਮਰਿ ਮਨਾ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮੁ ਚਿਤਾਰੇ
सिमरि मना राम नामु चितारे ॥
Simar manā rām nām cẖiṯāre.
Meditate, contemplate the Name of the Lord, O mind.

ਬਸਿ ਰਹੇ ਹਿਰਦੈ ਗੁਰ ਚਰਨ ਪਿਆਰੇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ
बसि रहे हिरदै गुर चरन पिआरे ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Bas rahe hirḏai gur cẖaran pi▫āre. ||1|| rahā▫o.
The Beloved Feet of the Guru abide within my heart. ||1||Pause||
