ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥

One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:

ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਨਿਧਾਨੁ ਲੈ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਹਰਿ ਪਤਿ ਪਾਇ ॥
हरि हरि नामु निधानु लै गुरमति हरि पति पाइ ॥
Har har nām niḏẖān lai gurmaṯ har paṯ pā▫e.
Take the treasure of the Name of the Lord, Har, Har. Follow the Guru's Teachings, and the Lord shall bless you with honor.

ਹਲਤਿ ਪਲਤਿ ਨਾਲਿ ਚਲਦਾ ਹਰਿ ਅੰਤੇ ਲਏ ਛਡਾਇ ॥
हलति पलति नालि चलदा हरि अंते लए छडाइ ॥
Halaṯ palaṯ nāl cẖalḏā har anṯe la▫e cẖẖadā▫e.
Here and hereafter, the Lord goes with you; in the end, He shall deliver you.

ਜਿਥੈ ਅਵਘਟ ਗਲੀਆ ਭੀੜੀਆ ਤਿਥੈ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਮੁਕਤਿ ਕਰਾਇ ॥੧॥
जिथै अवघट गलीआ भीड़ीआ तिथै हरि हरि मुकति कराइ ॥१॥
Jithai avgẖat galī▫ā bẖīṛī▫ā ṯithai har har mukaṯ karā▫e. ||1||
Where the path is difficult and the street is narrow, there the Lord shall liberate you. ||1||

ਮੇਰੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰਾ ਮੈ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਦ੍ਰਿੜਾਇ ॥
मेरे सतिगुरा मै हरि हरि नामु द्रिड़ाइ ॥
Mere saṯigurā mai har har nām driṛ▫ā▫e.
O my True Guru, implant within me the Name of the Lord, Har, Har.

ਮੇਰਾ ਮਾਤ ਪਿਤਾ ਸੁਤ ਬੰਧਪੋ ਮੈ ਹਰਿ ਬਿਨੁ ਅਵਰੁ ਨ ਮਾਇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
मेरा मात पिता सुत बंधपो मै हरि बिनु अवरु न माइ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Merā māṯ piṯā suṯ banḏẖpo mai har bin avar na mā▫e. ||1|| rahā▫o.
The Lord is my mother, father, child and relative; I have none other than the Lord, O my mother. ||1||Pause||

ਮੈ ਹਰਿ ਬਿਰਹੀ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਹੈ ਕੋਈ ਆਣਿ ਮਿਲਾਵੈ ਮਾਇ ॥
मै हरि बिरही हरि नामु है कोई आणि मिलावै माइ ॥
Mai har birhī har nām hai ko▫ī āṇ milāvai mā▫e.
I feel the pains of love and yearning for the Lord, and the Name of the Lord. If only someone would come and unite me with Him, O my mother.

ਤਿਸੁ ਆਗੈ ਮੈ ਜੋਦੜੀ ਮੇਰਾ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮੁ ਦੇਇ ਮਿਲਾਇ ॥
तिसु आगै मै जोदड़ी मेरा प्रीतमु देइ मिलाइ ॥
Ŧis āgai mai joḏ▫ṛī merā parīṯam ḏe▫e milā▫e.
I bow in humble devotion to one who inspires me to meet with my Beloved.

ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਦਇਆਲ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਹਰਿ ਮੇਲੇ ਢਿਲ ਨ ਪਾਇ ॥੨॥
सतिगुरु पुरखु दइआल प्रभु हरि मेले ढिल न पाइ ॥२॥
Saṯgur purakẖ ḏa▫i▫āl parabẖ har mele dẖil na pā▫e. ||2||
The almighty and merciful True Guru unites me with the Lord God instantaneously. ||2||

ਜਿਨ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਨ ਚੇਤਿਓ ਸੇ ਭਾਗਹੀਣ ਮਰਿ ਜਾਇ ॥
जिन हरि हरि नामु न चेतिओ से भागहीण मरि जाइ ॥
Jin har har nām na cẖeṯi▫o se bẖāghīṇ mar jā▫e.
Those who do not remember the Name of the Lord, Har, Har, are most unfortunate, and are slaughtered.

ਓਇ ਫਿਰਿ ਫਿਰਿ ਜੋਨਿ ਭਵਾਈਅਹਿ ਮਰਿ ਜੰਮਹਿ ਆਵੈ ਜਾਇ ॥
ओइ फिरि फिरि जोनि भवाईअहि मरि जमहि आवै जाइ ॥
O▫e fir fir jon bẖavā▫ī▫ah mar jamėh āvai jā▫e.
They wander in reincarnation, again and again; they die, and are re-born, and continue coming and going.

ਓਇ ਜਮ ਦਰਿ ਬਧੇ ਮਾਰੀਅਹਿ ਹਰਿ ਦਰਗਹ ਮਿਲੈ ਸਜਾਇ ॥੩॥
ओइ जम दरि बधे मारीअहि हरि दरगह मिलै सजाइ ॥३॥
O▫e jam ḏar baḏẖe mārī▫ah har ḏargėh milai sajā▫e. ||3||
Bound and gagged at Death's Door, they are cruelly beaten, and punished in the Court of the Lord. ||3||

ਤੂ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਹਮ ਸਰਣਾਗਤੀ ਮੋ ਕਉ ਮੇਲਿ ਲੈਹੁ ਹਰਿ ਰਾਇ ॥
तू प्रभु हम सरणागती मो कउ मेलि लैहु हरि राइ ॥
Ŧū parabẖ ham sarṇāgaṯī mo ka▫o mel laihu har rā▫e.
O God, I seek Your Sanctuary; O my Sovereign Lord King, please unite me with Yourself.

ਹਰਿ ਧਾਰਿ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਜਗਜੀਵਨਾ ਗੁਰ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਕੀ ਸਰਣਾਇ ॥
हरि धारि क्रिपा जगजीवना गुर सतिगुर की सरणाइ ॥
Har ḏẖār kirpā jagjīvanā gur saṯgur kī sarṇā▫e.
O Lord, Life of the World, please shower me with Your Mercy; grant me the Sanctuary of the Guru, the True Guru.

ਹਰਿ ਜੀਉ ਆਪਿ ਦਇਆਲੁ ਹੋਇ ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਮੇਲਾਇ ॥੪॥੧॥੩॥
हरि जीउ आपि दइआलु होइ जन नानक हरि मेलाइ ॥४॥१॥३॥
Har jī▫o āp ḏa▫i▫āl ho▫e jan Nānak har melā▫e. ||4||1||3||
The Dear Lord, becoming merciful, has blended servant Nanak with Himself. ||4||1||3||

ਹਉ ਪੂੰਜੀ ਨਾਮੁ ਦਸਾਇਦਾ ਕੋ ਦਸੇ ਹਰਿ ਧਨੁ ਰਾਸਿ ॥
हउ पूंजी नामु दसाइदा को दसे हरि धनु रासि ॥
Ha▫o pūnjī nām ḏasā▫iḏā ko ḏase har ḏẖan rās.
I inquire about the commodity of the Naam, the Name of the Lord. Is there anyone who can show me the wealth, the capital of the Lord?

ਹਉ ਤਿਸੁ ਵਿਟਹੁ ਖਨ ਖੰਨੀਐ ਮੈ ਮੇਲੇ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਪਾਸਿ ॥
हउ तिसु विटहु खन खंनीऐ मै मेले हरि प्रभ पासि ॥
Ha▫o ṯis vitahu kẖan kẖannī▫ai mai mele har parabẖ pās.
I cut myself into pieces, and make myself a sacrifice to that one who leads me to meet my Lord God.

ਮੈ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਪ੍ਰੇਮੁ ਪਿਰੰਮ ਕਾ ਕਿਉ ਸਜਣੁ ਮਿਲੈ ਮਿਲਾਸਿ ॥੧॥
मै अंतरि प्रेमु पिरम का किउ सजणु मिलै मिलासि ॥१॥
Mai anṯar parem piramm kā ki▫o sajaṇ milai milās. ||1||
I am filled with the Love of my Beloved; how can I meet my Friend, and merge with Him? ||1||

ਮਨ ਪਿਆਰਿਆ ਮਿਤ੍ਰਾ ਮੈ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਨੁ ਰਾਸਿ ॥
मन पिआरिआ मित्रा मै हरि हरि नामु धनु रासि ॥
Man pi▫āri▫ā miṯrā mai har har nām ḏẖan rās.
O my beloved friend, my mind, I take the wealth, the capital of the Name of the Lord, Har, Har.

ਗੁਰਿ ਪੂਰੈ ਨਾਮੁ ਦ੍ਰਿੜਾਇਆ ਹਰਿ ਧੀਰਕ ਹਰਿ ਸਾਬਾਸਿ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
गुरि पूरै नामु द्रिड़ाइआ हरि धीरक हरि साबासि ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Gur pūrai nām driṛ▫ā▫i▫ā har ḏẖīrak har sābās. ||1|| rahā▫o.
The Perfect Guru has implanted the Naam within me; the Lord is my support - I celebrate the Lord. ||1||Pause||

ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਆਪਿ ਮਿਲਾਇ ਗੁਰੁ ਮੈ ਦਸੇ ਹਰਿ ਧਨੁ ਰਾਸਿ ॥
हरि हरि आपि मिलाइ गुरु मै दसे हरि धनु रासि ॥
Har har āp milā▫e gur mai ḏase har ḏẖan rās.
O my Guru, please unite me with the Lord, Har, Har; show me the wealth, the capital of the Lord.

ਬਿਨੁ ਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰੇਮੁ ਨ ਲਭਈ ਜਨ ਵੇਖਹੁ ਮਨਿ ਨਿਰਜਾਸਿ ॥
बिनु गुर प्रेमु न लभई जन वेखहु मनि निरजासि ॥
Bin gur parem na labẖ▫ī jan vekẖhu man nirjās.
Without the Guru, love does not well up; see this, and know it in your mind.

ਹਰਿ ਗੁਰ ਵਿਚਿ ਆਪੁ ਰਖਿਆ ਹਰਿ ਮੇਲੇ ਗੁਰ ਸਾਬਾਸਿ ॥੨॥
हरि गुर विचि आपु रखिआ हरि मेले गुर साबासि ॥२॥
Har gur vicẖ āp rakẖi▫ā har mele gur sābās. ||2||
The Lord has installed Himself within the Guru; so praise the Guru, who unites us with the Lord. ||2||

ਸਾਗਰ ਭਗਤਿ ਭੰਡਾਰ ਹਰਿ ਪੂਰੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪਾਸਿ ॥
सागर भगति भंडार हरि पूरे सतिगुर पासि ॥
Sāgar bẖagaṯ bẖandār har pūre saṯgur pās.
The ocean, the treasure of devotional worship of the Lord, rests with the Perfect True Guru.

ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਤੁਠਾ ਖੋਲਿ ਦੇਇ ਮੁਖਿ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਹਰਿ ਪਰਗਾਸਿ ॥
सतिगुरु तुठा खोलि देइ मुखि गुरमुखि हरि परगासि ॥
Saṯgur ṯuṯẖā kẖol ḏe▫e mukẖ gurmukẖ har pargās.
When it pleases the True Guru, He opens the treasure, and the Gurmukhs are illuminated by the Lord's Light.

ਮਨਮੁਖਿ ਭਾਗ ਵਿਹੂਣਿਆ ਤਿਖ ਮੁਈਆ ਕੰਧੀ ਪਾਸਿ ॥੩॥
मनमुखि भाग विहूणिआ तिख मुईआ कंधी पासि ॥३॥
Manmukẖ bẖāg vihūṇi▫ā ṯikẖ mu▫ī▫ā kanḏẖī pās. ||3||
The unfortunate self-willed manmukhs die of thirst, on the very bank of the river. ||3||

ਗੁਰੁ ਦਾਤਾ ਦਾਤਾਰੁ ਹੈ ਹਉ ਮਾਗਉ ਦਾਨੁ ਗੁਰ ਪਾਸਿ ॥
गुरु दाता दातारु है हउ मागउ दानु गुर पासि ॥
Gur ḏāṯā ḏāṯār hai ha▫o māga▫o ḏān gur pās.
The Guru is the Great Giver; I beg for this gift from the Guru,

ਚਿਰੀ ਵਿਛੁੰਨਾ ਮੇਲਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਮੈ ਮਨਿ ਤਨਿ ਵਡੜੀ ਆਸ ॥
चिरी विछुंना मेलि प्रभ मै मनि तनि वडड़ी आस ॥
Cẖirī vicẖẖunnā mel parabẖ mai man ṯan vadṛī ās.
that He may unite me with God, from whom I was separated for so long! This is the great hope of my mind and body.

ਗੁਰ ਭਾਵੈ ਸੁਣਿ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਕੀ ਅਰਦਾਸਿ ॥੪॥੨॥੪॥
गुर भावै सुणि बेनती जन नानक की अरदासि ॥४॥२॥४॥
Gur bẖāvai suṇ benṯī jan Nānak kī arḏās. ||4||2||4||
If it pleases You, O my Guru, please listen to my prayer; this is servant Nanak's prayer. ||4||2||4||

ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਕਥਾ ਸੁਣਾਇ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਹਰਿ ਰਿਦੈ ਸਮਾਣੀ ॥
हरि हरि कथा सुणाइ प्रभ गुरमति हरि रिदै समाणी ॥
Har har kathā suṇā▫e parabẖ gurmaṯ har riḏai samāṇī.
O Lord God, please preach Your sermon to me. Through the Guru's Teachings, the Lord is merged into my heart.

ਜਪਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਕਥਾ ਵਡਭਾਗੀਆ ਹਰਿ ਉਤਮ ਪਦੁ ਨਿਰਬਾਣੀ ॥
जपि हरि हरि कथा वडभागीआ हरि उतम पदु निरबाणी ॥
Jap har har kathā vadbẖāgī▫ā har uṯam paḏ nirbāṇī.
Meditate on the sermon of the Lord, Har, Har, O very fortunate ones; the Lord shall bless you with the most sublime status of Nirvaanaa.
