ਇਕ ਓਟ ਕੀਜੈ ਜੀਉ ਦੀਜੈ ਆਸ ਇਕ ਧਰਣੀਧਰੈ ॥
इक ओट कीजै जीउ दीजै आस इक धरणीधरै ॥
Ik ot kījai jī▫o ḏījai ās ik ḏẖarṇīḏẖarai.
Seek thou the One Lord's support, surrender thy soul to Him and hope only in sustainer of the World.

ਸਾਧਸੰਗੇ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮ ਰੰਗੇ ਸੰਸਾਰੁ ਸਾਗਰੁ ਸਭੁ ਤਰੈ ॥
साधसंगे हरि नाम रंगे संसारु सागरु सभु तरै ॥
Sāḏẖsange har nām range sansār sāgar sabẖ ṯarai.
All the persons, who are imbued with God's Name in the saints guild, cross the world-ocean.

ਜਨਮ ਮਰਣ ਬਿਕਾਰ ਛੂਟੇ ਫਿਰਿ ਨ ਲਾਗੈ ਦਾਗੁ ਜੀਉ ॥
जनम मरण बिकार छूटे फिरि न लागै दागु जीउ ॥
Janam maraṇ bikār cẖẖūte fir na lāgai ḏāg jī▫o.
They are rid of the sin of birth and death and no stigma attaches to them again.

ਬਲਿ ਜਾਇ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਪੁਰਖ ਪੂਰਨ ਥਿਰੁ ਜਾ ਕਾ ਸੋਹਾਗੁ ਜੀਉ ॥੩॥
बलि जाइ नानकु पुरख पूरन थिरु जा का सोहागु जीउ ॥३॥
Bal jā▫e Nānak purakẖ pūran thir jā kā sohāg jī▫o. ||3||
Nanak is devoted unto the Perfect Lord, the Joy of union with whom is ever-stable.

ਧਰਮ ਅਰਥ ਅਰੁ ਕਾਮ ਮੋਖ ਮੁਕਤਿ ਪਦਾਰਥ ਨਾਥ ॥
धरम अरथ अरु काम मोख मुकति पदारथ नाथ ॥
Ḏẖaram arath ar kām mokẖ mukaṯ paḏārath nāth.
The Lord is the Giver of emancipation and the four cardinal boons of faith, wealth, success and salvation.

ਸਗਲ ਮਨੋਰਥ ਪੂਰਿਆ ਨਾਨਕ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਮਾਥ ॥੧॥
सगल मनोरथ पूरिआ नानक लिखिआ माथ ॥१॥
Sagal manorath pūri▫ā Nānak likẖi▫ā māth. ||1||
Nanak, he who has such a writ on his brow; all his desires are fulfilled.

सगल इछ मेरी पुंनीआ मिलिआ निरंजन राइ जीउ ॥
Sagal icẖẖ merī punnī▫ā mili▫ā niranjan rā▫e jī▫o.
Meeting with my Immaculate Lord, the King, all my aspirations are realised.

ਅਨਦੁ ਭਇਆ ਵਡਭਾਗੀਹੋ ਗ੍ਰਿਹਿ ਪ੍ਰਗਟੇ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਆਇ ਜੀਉ ॥
अनदु भइआ वडभागीहो ग्रिहि प्रगटे प्रभ आइ जीउ ॥
Anaḏ bẖa▫i▫ā vadbẖāgīho garihi pargate parabẖ ā▫e jī▫o.
O very fortunate ones, bliss has welled up, as the sire Lords has become manifest in my home.

ਗ੍ਰਿਹਿ ਲਾਲ ਆਏ ਪੁਰਬਿ ਕਮਾਏ ਤਾ ਕੀ ਉਪਮਾ ਕਿਆ ਗਣਾ ॥
ग्रिहि लाल आए पुरबि कमाए ता की उपमा किआ गणा ॥
Garihi lāl ā▫e purab kamā▫e ṯā kī upmā ki▫ā gaṇā.
On account of my past deeds, my love has visited my home. How can I count His excellences?

ਬੇਅੰਤ ਪੂਰਨ ਸੁਖ ਸਹਜ ਦਾਤਾ ਕਵਨ ਰਸਨਾ ਗੁਣ ਭਣਾ ॥
बेअंत पूरन सुख सहज दाता कवन रसना गुण भणा ॥
Be▫anṯ pūran sukẖ sahj ḏāṯā kavan rasnā guṇ bẖaṇā.
Infinite and Omnipresent is my Lord, the Giver of peace and poise, With what tongue can I utter His virtues.

ਆਪੇ ਮਿਲਾਏ ਗਹਿ ਕੰਠਿ ਲਾਏ ਤਿਸੁ ਬਿਨਾ ਨਹੀ ਜਾਇ ਜੀਉ ॥
आपे मिलाए गहि कंठि लाए तिसु बिना नही जाइ जीउ ॥
Āpe milā▫e gėh kanṯẖ lā▫e ṯis binā nahī jā▫e jī▫o.
Taking Hold of me, the Lord has hugged me to His bosom and united me with Himself. Without Him, there is no other place of rest.

ਬਲਿ ਜਾਇ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਸਦਾ ਕਰਤੇ ਸਭ ਮਹਿ ਰਹਿਆ ਸਮਾਇ ਜੀਉ ॥੪॥੪॥
बलि जाइ नानकु सदा करते सभ महि रहिआ समाइ जीउ ॥४॥४॥
Bal jā▫e Nānak saḏā karṯe sabẖ mėh rahi▫ā samā▫e jī▫o. ||4||4||
Nanak is ever devoted unto the Creator, who is contained amongst all.

रण झुंझनड़ा गाउ सखी हरि एकु धिआवहु ॥
Raṇ jẖunjẖnaṛā gā▫o sakẖī har ek ḏẖi▫āvahu.
O my mates, melodiously sing ye the Lord's praise and contemplate one God
|
ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਤੁਮ ਸੇਵਿ ਸਖੀ ਮਨਿ ਚਿੰਦਿਅੜਾ ਫਲੁ ਪਾਵਹੁ ॥
सतिगुरु तुम सेवि सखी मनि चिंदिअड़ा फलु पावहु ॥
Saṯgur ṯum sev sakẖī man cẖinḏi▫aṛā fal pāvhu.
Serve ye, your True Guru, O my mates and obtain the Fruit of your heart's desire

ੴ सतिगुर प्रसादि ॥
Ik▫oaʼnkār saṯgur parsāḏ.
There is but One God. By True Guru's grace, He is obtained.

ਕਰਿ ਬੰਦਨ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਬਾਛਉ ਸਾਧਹ ਧੂਰਿ ॥
करि बंदन प्रभ पारब्रहम बाछउ साधह धूरि ॥
Kar banḏan parabẖ pārbarahm bācẖẖa▫o sāḏẖah ḏẖūr.
Make thou obeisance unto Lord, the Supreme Master and desire the dust of His saints' feet.

ਆਪੁ ਨਿਵਾਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਭਜਉ ਨਾਨਕ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਭਰਪੂਰਿ ॥੧॥
आपु निवारि हरि हरि भजउ नानक प्रभ भरपूरि ॥१॥
Āp nivār har har bẖaja▫o Nānak parabẖ bẖarpūr. ||1||
Shed thy self-conceit and utter thou the Lord's Name. The Lord is fully filling all, O Nanak.

ਕਿਲਵਿਖ ਕਾਟਣ ਭੈ ਹਰਣ ਸੁਖ ਸਾਗਰ ਹਰਿ ਰਾਇ ॥
किलविख काटण भै हरण सुख सागर हरि राइ ॥
Kilvikẖ kātaṇ bẖai haraṇ sukẖ sāgar har rā▫e.
God, the King, is the dispeller of sin, the destroyer of dread and the ocean of peace.

ਦੀਨ ਦਇਆਲ ਦੁਖ ਭੰਜਨੋ ਨਾਨਕ ਨੀਤ ਧਿਆਇ ॥੨॥
दीन दइआल दुख भंजनो नानक नीत धिआइ ॥२॥
Ḏīn ḏa▫i▫āl ḏukẖ bẖanjno Nānak nīṯ ḏẖi▫ā▫e. ||2||
Merciful to the meek and the healer of pain, O Nanak, for ever contemplate Him.

जसु गावहु वडभागीहो करि किरपा भगवंत जीउ ॥
Jas gāvhu vadbẖāgīho kar kirpā bẖagvanṯ jī▫o.
O very fortunate ones, sings ye the Lord's praise and the Auspicious master shall take pity on you.

ਰੁਤੀ ਮਾਹ ਮੂਰਤ ਘੜੀ ਗੁਣ ਉਚਰਤ ਸੋਭਾਵੰਤ ਜੀਉ ॥
रुती माह मूरत घड़ी गुण उचरत सोभावंत जीउ ॥
Ruṯī māh mūraṯ gẖaṛī guṇ ucẖraṯ sobẖāvanṯ jī▫o.
Illustrious is the season, the month, the moment and the time, when the Lord's excellences are uttered.

ਗੁਣ ਰੰਗਿ ਰਾਤੇ ਧੰਨਿ ਤੇ ਜਨ ਜਿਨੀ ਇਕ ਮਨਿ ਧਿਆਇਆ ॥
गुण रंगि राते धंनि ते जन जिनी इक मनि धिआइआ ॥
Guṇ rang rāṯe ḏẖan ṯe jan jinī ik man ḏẖi▫ā▫i▫ā.
Blessed are those persons, who are imbued with the love of the Lord's praise and who meditate on Him single-mindedly.

ਸਫਲ ਜਨਮੁ ਭਇਆ ਤਿਨ ਕਾ ਜਿਨੀ ਸੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਪਾਇਆ ॥
सफल जनमु भइआ तिन का जिनी सो प्रभु पाइआ ॥
Safal janam bẖa▫i▫ā ṯin kā jinī so parabẖ pā▫i▫ā.
Fruitful becomes the life of those, who attain to that Lord.

ਪੁੰਨ ਦਾਨ ਨ ਤੁਲਿ ਕਿਰਿਆ ਹਰਿ ਸਰਬ ਪਾਪਾ ਹੰਤ ਜੀਉ ॥
पुंन दान न तुलि किरिआ हरि सरब पापा हंत जीउ ॥
Punn ḏān na ṯul kiri▫ā har sarab pāpā hanṯ jī▫o.
Charities, alms and religious rites equal not the God's Name, which destroys all the sins.

ਬਿਨਵੰਤਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਿਮਰਿ ਜੀਵਾ ਜਨਮ ਮਰਣ ਰਹੰਤ ਜੀਉ ॥੧॥
बिनवंति नानक सिमरि जीवा जनम मरण रहंत जीउ ॥१॥
Binvanṯ Nānak simar jīvā janam maraṇ rahanṯ jī▫o. ||1||
Supplicates Nanak, I live by meditating on the Lord and my comings and goings have ended.

ਉਦਮੁ ਅਗਮੁ ਅਗੋਚਰੋ ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਨਮਸਕਾਰ ॥
उदमु अगमु अगोचरो चरन कमल नमसकार ॥
Uḏam agam agocẖaro cẖaran kamal namaskār.
Strive thou to meet with thy Inaccessible and Inapprehensible Lord and pay homage to His Lotus feet.

ਕਥਨੀ ਸਾ ਤੁਧੁ ਭਾਵਸੀ ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮ ਅਧਾਰ ॥੧॥
कथनी सा तुधु भावसी नानक नाम अधार ॥१॥
Kathnī sā ṯuḏẖ bẖāvsī Nānak nām aḏẖār. ||1||
Says Nanak, that speech alone is pleasing to Thee, O Lord, which enjoins to seek the support of thy Name.

ਸੰਤ ਸਰਣਿ ਸਾਜਨ ਪਰਹੁ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਸਿਮਰਿ ਅਨੰਤ ॥
संत सरणि साजन परहु सुआमी सिमरि अनंत ॥
Sanṯ saraṇ sājan parahu su▫āmī simar ananṯ.
O friend, seek thou the protection of the saints and contemplate thy on infinite Lord.

ਸੂਕੇ ਤੇ ਹਰਿਆ ਥੀਆ ਨਾਨਕ ਜਪਿ ਭਗਵੰਤ ॥੨॥
सूके ते हरिआ थीआ नानक जपि भगवंत ॥२॥
Sūke ṯe hari▫ā thī▫ā Nānak jap bẖagvanṯ. ||2||
Nanak, remembering the Fortunate Lord, thou shalt become green from being withered,

ਰੁਤਿ ਸਰਸ ਬਸੰਤ ਮਾਹ ਚੇਤੁ ਵੈਸਾਖ ਸੁਖ ਮਾਸੁ ਜੀਉ ॥
रुति सरस बसंत माह चेतु वैसाख सुख मासु जीउ ॥
Ruṯ saras basanṯ māh cẖeṯ vaisākẖ sukẖ mās jī▫o.
Delightful is the season of spring, The month of Chet and Baisakh are the pleasant months.

ਹਰਿ ਜੀਉ ਨਾਹੁ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਮਉਲਿਆ ਮਨੁ ਤਨੁ ਸਾਸੁ ਜੀਉ ॥
हरि जीउ नाहु मिलिआ मउलिआ मनु तनु सासु जीउ ॥
Har jī▫o nāhu mili▫ā ma▫oli▫ā man ṯan sās jī▫o.
Obtaining Venerable Lord as my spouse, my soul, body and life have bloomed.

ਘਰਿ ਨਾਹੁ ਨਿਹਚਲੁ ਅਨਦੁ ਸਖੀਏ ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਪ੍ਰਫੁਲਿਆ ॥
घरि नाहु निहचलु अनदु सखीए चरन कमल प्रफुलिआ ॥
Gẖar nāhu nihcẖal anaḏ sakẖī▫e cẖaran kamal parfuli▫ā.
When the lotus feet of my heart-home, I am in bliss and flower afresh, O my mate.
