ਹਰਿ ਭਗਤਾ ਨੋ ਦੇਇ ਅਨੰਦੁ ਥਿਰੁ ਘਰੀ ਬਹਾਲਿਅਨੁ
हरि भगता नो देइ अनंदु थिरु घरी बहालिअनु ॥
Har bẖagṯā no ḏe▫e anand thir gẖarī bahāli▫an.
The Lord bestows bliss upon His devotees, and gives them a seat in the eternal home.

ਪਾਪੀਆ ਨੋ ਦੇਈ ਥਿਰੁ ਰਹਣਿ ਚੁਣਿ ਨਰਕ ਘੋਰਿ ਚਾਲਿਅਨੁ
पापीआ नो न देई थिरु रहणि चुणि नरक घोरि चालिअनु ॥
Pāpī▫ā no na ḏe▫ī thir rahaṇ cẖuṇ narak gẖor cẖāli▫an.
He does not give the sinners any stability or place of rest; He consigns them to the depths of hell.

ਹਰਿ ਭਗਤਾ ਨੋ ਦੇਇ ਪਿਆਰੁ ਕਰਿ ਅੰਗੁ ਨਿਸਤਾਰਿਅਨੁ ॥੧੯॥
हरि भगता नो देइ पिआरु करि अंगु निसतारिअनु ॥१९॥
Har bẖagṯā no ḏe▫e pi▫ār kar ang nisṯāri▫an. ||19||
The Lord blesses His devotees with His Love; He sides with them and saves them. ||19||

ਸਲੋਕ ਮਃ
सलोक मः १ ॥
Salok mėhlā 1.
Shalok, First Mehl:

ਕੁਬੁਧਿ ਡੂਮਣੀ ਕੁਦਇਆ ਕਸਾਇਣਿ ਪਰ ਨਿੰਦਾ ਘਟ ਚੂਹੜੀ ਮੁਠੀ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਿ ਚੰਡਾਲਿ
कुबुधि डूमणी कुदइआ कसाइणि पर निंदा घट चूहड़ी मुठी क्रोधि चंडालि ॥
Kubuḏẖ dūmṇī kuḏ▫i▫ā kasā▫iṇ par ninḏā gẖat cẖūhṛī muṯẖī kroḏẖ cẖandāl.
False-mindedness is the drummer-woman; cruelty is the butcheress; slander of others in one's heart is the cleaning-woman, and deceitful anger is the outcast-woman.

ਕਾਰੀ ਕਢੀ ਕਿਆ ਥੀਐ ਜਾਂ ਚਾਰੇ ਬੈਠੀਆ ਨਾਲਿ
कारी कढी किआ थीऐ जां चारे बैठीआ नालि ॥
Kārī kadẖī ki▫ā thī▫ai jāʼn cẖāre baiṯẖī▫ā nāl.
What good are the ceremonial lines drawn around your kitchen, when these four are seated there with you?

ਸਚੁ ਸੰਜਮੁ ਕਰਣੀ ਕਾਰਾਂ ਨਾਵਣੁ ਨਾਉ ਜਪੇਹੀ
सचु संजमु करणी कारां नावणु नाउ जपेही ॥
Sacẖ sanjam karṇī kārāʼn nāvaṇ nā▫o japehī.
Make Truth your self-discipline, and make good deeds the lines you draw; make chanting the Name your cleansing bath.

ਨਾਨਕ ਅਗੈ ਊਤਮ ਸੇਈ ਜਿ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਪੰਦਿ ਦੇਹੀ ॥੧॥
नानक अगै ऊतम सेई जि पापां पंदि न देही ॥१॥
Nānak agai ūṯam se▫ī jė pāpāʼn panḏ na ḏehī. ||1||
O Nanak, those who do not walk in the ways of sin, shall be exalted in the world hereafter. ||1||

ਮਃ
मः १ ॥
Mėhlā 1.
First Mehl:

ਕਿਆ ਹੰਸੁ ਕਿਆ ਬਗੁਲਾ ਜਾ ਕਉ ਨਦਰਿ ਕਰੇਇ
किआ हंसु किआ बगुला जा कउ नदरि करेइ ॥
Ki▫ā hans ki▫ā bagulā jā ka▫o naḏar kare▫i.
Which is the swan, and which is the crane? It is only by His Glance of Grace.

ਜੋ ਤਿਸੁ ਭਾਵੈ ਨਾਨਕਾ ਕਾਗਹੁ ਹੰਸੁ ਕਰੇਇ ॥੨॥
जो तिसु भावै नानका कागहु हंसु करेइ ॥२॥
Jo ṯis bẖāvai nānkā kāgahu hans kare▫i. ||2||
Whoever is pleasing to Him, O Nanak, is transformed from a crow into a swan. ||2||

ਪਉੜੀ
पउड़ी ॥
Pa▫oṛī.
Pauree:

ਕੀਤਾ ਲੋੜੀਐ ਕੰਮੁ ਸੁ ਹਰਿ ਪਹਿ ਆਖੀਐ
कीता लोड़ीऐ कमु सु हरि पहि आखीऐ ॥
Kīṯā loṛī▫ai kamm so har pėh ākẖī▫ai.
Whatever work you wish to accomplish-tell it to the Lord.

ਕਾਰਜੁ ਦੇਇ ਸਵਾਰਿ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਸਚੁ ਸਾਖੀਐ
कारजु देइ सवारि सतिगुर सचु साखीऐ ॥
Kāraj ḏe▫e savār saṯgur sacẖ sākẖī▫ai.
He will resolve your affairs; the True Guru gives His Guarantee of Truth.

ਸੰਤਾ ਸੰਗਿ ਨਿਧਾਨੁ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਚਾਖੀਐ
संता संगि निधानु अम्रितु चाखीऐ ॥
Sanṯā sang niḏẖān amriṯ cẖākẖī▫ai.
In the Society of the Saints, you shall taste the treasure of the Ambrosial Nectar.

ਭੈ ਭੰਜਨ ਮਿਹਰਵਾਨ ਦਾਸ ਕੀ ਰਾਖੀਐ
भै भंजन मिहरवान दास की राखीऐ ॥
Bẖai bẖanjan miharvān ḏās kī rākẖī▫ai.
The Lord is the Merciful Destroyer of fear; He preserves and protects His slaves.

ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਇ ਅਲਖੁ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਲਾਖੀਐ ॥੨੦॥
नानक हरि गुण गाइ अलखु प्रभु लाखीऐ ॥२०॥
Nānak har guṇ gā▫e alakẖ parabẖ lākẖī▫ai. ||20||
O Nanak, sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord, and see the Unseen Lord God. ||20||

ਸਲੋਕ ਮਃ
सलोक मः ३ ॥
Salok mėhlā 3.
Shalok, Third Mehl:

ਜੀਉ ਪਿੰਡੁ ਸਭੁ ਤਿਸ ਕਾ ਸਭਸੈ ਦੇਇ ਅਧਾਰੁ
जीउ पिंडु सभु तिस का सभसै देइ अधारु ॥
Jī▫o pind sabẖ ṯis kā sabẖsai ḏe▫e aḏẖār.
Body and soul, all belong to Him. He gives His Support to all.

ਨਾਨਕ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਸੇਵੀਐ ਸਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਦਾਤਾਰੁ
नानक गुरमुखि सेवीऐ सदा सदा दातारु ॥
Nānak gurmukẖ sevī▫ai saḏā saḏā ḏāṯār.
O Nanak, become Gurmukh and serve Him, who is forever and ever the Giver.

ਹਉ ਬਲਿਹਾਰੀ ਤਿਨ ਕਉ ਜਿਨਿ ਧਿਆਇਆ ਹਰਿ ਨਿਰੰਕਾਰੁ
हउ बलिहारी तिन कउ जिनि धिआइआ हरि निरंकारु ॥
Ha▫o balihārī ṯin ka▫o jin ḏẖi▫ā▫i▫ā har nirankār.
I am a sacrifice to those who meditate on the Formless Lord.

ਓਨਾ ਕੇ ਮੁਖ ਸਦ ਉਜਲੇ ਓਨਾ ਨੋ ਸਭੁ ਜਗਤੁ ਕਰੇ ਨਮਸਕਾਰੁ ॥੧॥
ओना के मुख सद उजले ओना नो सभु जगतु करे नमसकारु ॥१॥
Onā ke mukẖ saḏ ujle onā no sabẖ jagaṯ kare namaskār. ||1||
Their faces are forever radiant, and the whole world bows in reverence to them. ||1||

ਮਃ
मः ३ ॥
Mėhlā 3.
Third Mehl:

ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਮਿਲਿਐ ਉਲਟੀ ਭਈ ਨਵ ਨਿਧਿ ਖਰਚਿਉ ਖਾਉ
सतिगुर मिलिऐ उलटी भई नव निधि खरचिउ खाउ ॥
Saṯgur mili▫ai ultī bẖa▫ī nav niḏẖ kẖarcẖi▫o kẖā▫o.
Meeting the True Guru, I am totally transformed; I have obtained the nine treasures to use and consume.

ਅਠਾਰਹ ਸਿਧੀ ਪਿਛੈ ਲਗੀਆ ਫਿਰਨਿ ਨਿਜ ਘਰਿ ਵਸੈ ਨਿਜ ਥਾਇ
अठारह सिधी पिछै लगीआ फिरनि निज घरि वसै निज थाइ ॥
Aṯẖārah siḏẖī picẖẖai lagī▫ā firan nij gẖar vasai nij thā▫e.
The Siddhis-the eighteen supernatural spiritual powers-follow in my footsteps; I dwell in my own home, within my own self.

ਅਨਹਦ ਧੁਨੀ ਸਦ ਵਜਦੇ ਉਨਮਨਿ ਹਰਿ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਇ
अनहद धुनी सद वजदे उनमनि हरि लिव लाइ ॥
Anhaḏ ḏẖunī saḏ vajḏe unman har liv lā▫e.
The Unstruck Melody constantly vibrates within; my mind is exalted and uplifted-I am lovingly absorbed in the Lord.

ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਭਗਤਿ ਤਿਨਾ ਕੈ ਮਨਿ ਵਸੈ ਜਿਨ ਮਸਤਕਿ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਧੁਰਿ ਪਾਇ ॥੨॥
नानक हरि भगति तिना कै मनि वसै जिन मसतकि लिखिआ धुरि पाइ ॥२॥
Nānak har bẖagaṯ ṯinā kai man vasai jin masṯak likẖi▫ā ḏẖur pā▫e. ||2||
O Nanak, devotion to the Lord abides within the minds of those who have such pre-ordained destiny written on their foreheads. ||2||

ਪਉੜੀ
पउड़ी ॥
Pa▫oṛī.
Pauree:

ਹਉ ਢਾਢੀ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਖਸਮ ਕਾ ਹਰਿ ਕੈ ਦਰਿ ਆਇਆ
हउ ढाढी हरि प्रभ खसम का हरि कै दरि आइआ ॥
Ha▫o dẖādẖī har parabẖ kẖasam kā har kai ḏar ā▫i▫ā.
I am a minstrel of the Lord God, my Lord and Master; I have come to the Lord's Door.

ਹਰਿ ਅੰਦਰਿ ਸੁਣੀ ਪੂਕਾਰ ਢਾਢੀ ਮੁਖਿ ਲਾਇਆ
हरि अंदरि सुणी पूकार ढाढी मुखि लाइआ ॥
Har anḏar suṇī pūkār dẖādẖī mukẖ lā▫i▫ā.
The Lord has heard my sad cries from within; He has called me, His minstrel, into His Presence.

ਹਰਿ ਪੁਛਿਆ ਢਾਢੀ ਸਦਿ ਕੈ ਕਿਤੁ ਅਰਥਿ ਤੂੰ ਆਇਆ
हरि पुछिआ ढाढी सदि कै कितु अरथि तूं आइआ ॥
Har pucẖẖi▫ā dẖādẖī saḏ kai kiṯ arath ṯūʼn ā▫i▫ā.
The Lord called His minstrel in, and asked, "Why have you come here?

ਨਿਤ ਦੇਵਹੁ ਦਾਨੁ ਦਇਆਲ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਇਆ
नित देवहु दानु दइआल प्रभ हरि नामु धिआइआ ॥
Niṯ ḏevhu ḏān ḏa▫i▫āl parabẖ har nām ḏẖi▫ā▫i▫ā.
O Merciful God, please grant me the gift of continual meditation on the Lord's Name.

ਹਰਿ ਦਾਤੈ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਜਪਾਇਆ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਪੈਨਾਇਆ ॥੨੧॥੧॥ ਸੁਧੁ
हरि दातै हरि नामु जपाइआ नानकु पैनाइआ ॥२१॥१॥ सुधु
Har ḏāṯai har nām japā▫i▫ā Nānak painā▫i▫ā. ||21||1|| suḏẖu
And so the Lord, the Great Giver, inspired Nanak to chant the Lord's Name, and blessed him with robes of honor. ||21||1||Sudh||

ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ
ੴ सतिगुर प्रसादि ॥
Ik▫oaʼnkār saṯgur parsāḏ.
One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:

ਸਿਰੀਰਾਗੁ ਕਬੀਰ ਜੀਉ ਕਾ ਏਕੁ ਸੁਆਨੁ ਕੈ ਘਰਿ ਗਾਵਣਾ
सिरीरागु कबीर जीउ का ॥ एकु सुआनु कै घरि गावणा
Sirīrāg Kabīr jī▫o kā. Ėk su▫ān kai gẖar gāvṇā
Siree Raag, Kabeer Jee: To Be Sung To The Tune Of "Ayk Su-Aan".

ਜਨਨੀ ਜਾਨਤ ਸੁਤੁ ਬਡਾ ਹੋਤੁ ਹੈ ਇਤਨਾ ਕੁ ਜਾਨੈ ਜਿ ਦਿਨ ਦਿਨ ਅਵਧ ਘਟਤੁ ਹੈ
जननी जानत सुतु बडा होतु है इतना कु न जानै जि दिन दिन अवध घटतु है ॥
Jannī jānaṯ suṯ badā hoṯ hai iṯnā ko na jānai jė ḏin ḏin avaḏẖ gẖataṯ hai.
The mother thinks that her son is growing up; she does not understand that, day by day, his life is diminishing.

ਮੋਰ ਮੋਰ ਕਰਿ ਅਧਿਕ ਲਾਡੁ ਧਰਿ ਪੇਖਤ ਹੀ ਜਮਰਾਉ ਹਸੈ ॥੧॥
मोर मोर करि अधिक लाडु धरि पेखत ही जमराउ हसै ॥१॥
Mor mor kar aḏẖik lād ḏẖar pekẖaṯ hī jamrā▫o hasai. ||1||
Calling him, "Mine, mine", she fondles him lovingly, while the Messenger of Death looks on and laughs. ||1||
