ਗੁਰ ਕੇ ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਨਮਸਕਾਰਿ ॥
गुर के चरन कमल नमसकारि ॥
Gur ke cẖaran kamal namaskār.
Bow in humility to the lotus feet of the Guru.

ਕਾਮੁ ਕ੍ਰੋਧੁ ਇਸੁ ਤਨ ਤੇ ਮਾਰਿ ॥
कामु क्रोधु इसु तन ते मारि ॥
Kām kroḏẖ is ṯan ṯe mār.
Eliminate sexual desire and anger from this body.
|
ਹੋਇ ਰਹੀਐ ਸਗਲ ਕੀ ਰੀਨਾ ॥
होइ रहीऐ सगल की रीना ॥
Ho▫e rahī▫ai sagal kī rīnā.
Be the dust of all,
|
ਘਟਿ ਘਟਿ ਰਮਈਆ ਸਭ ਮਹਿ ਚੀਨਾ ॥੧॥
घटि घटि रमईआ सभ महि चीना ॥१॥
Gẖat gẖat rama▫ī▫ā sabẖ mėh cẖīnā. ||1||
and see the Lord in each and every heart, in all. ||1||
|
ਇਨ ਬਿਧਿ ਰਮਹੁ ਗੋਪਾਲ ਗੋੁਬਿੰਦੁ ॥
इन बिधि रमहु गोपाल गोबिंदु ॥
In biḏẖ ramhu gopāl gobinḏ.
In this way, dwell upon the Lord of the World, the Lord of the Universe.

ਤਨੁ ਧਨੁ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕਾ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੀ ਜਿੰਦੁ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
तनु धनु प्रभ का प्रभ की जिंदु ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Ŧan ḏẖan parabẖ kā parabẖ kī jinḏ. ||1|| rahā▫o.
My body and wealth belong to God; my soul belongs to God. ||1||Pause||
|
ਆਠ ਪਹਰ ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਉ ॥
आठ पहर हरि के गुण गाउ ॥
Āṯẖ pahar har ke guṇ gā▫o.
Twenty-four hours a day, sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord.

ਜੀਅ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਕੋ ਇਹੈ ਸੁਆਉ ॥
जीअ प्रान को इहै सुआउ ॥
Jī▫a parān ko ihai su▫ā▫o.
This is the purpose of human life.
|
ਤਜਿ ਅਭਿਮਾਨੁ ਜਾਨੁ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਸੰਗਿ ॥
तजि अभिमानु जानु प्रभु संगि ॥
Ŧaj abẖimān jān parabẖ sang.
Renounce your egotistical pride, and know that God is with you.

ਸਾਧ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ਹਰਿ ਸਿਉ ਮਨੁ ਰੰਗਿ ॥੨॥
साध प्रसादि हरि सिउ मनु रंगि ॥२॥
Sāḏẖ parsāḏ har si▫o man rang. ||2||
By the Grace of the Holy, let your mind be imbued with the Lord's Love. ||2||
|
ਜਿਨਿ ਤੂੰ ਕੀਆ ਤਿਸ ਕਉ ਜਾਨੁ ॥
जिनि तूं कीआ तिस कउ जानु ॥
Jin ṯūʼn kī▫ā ṯis ka▫o jān.
Know the One who created you,
|
ਆਗੈ ਦਰਗਹ ਪਾਵੈ ਮਾਨੁ ॥
आगै दरगह पावै मानु ॥
Āgai ḏargėh pāvai mān.
and in the world hereafter you shall be honored in the Court of the Lord.
|
ਮਨੁ ਤਨੁ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਹੋਇ ਨਿਹਾਲੁ ॥
मनु तनु निरमल होइ निहालु ॥
Man ṯan nirmal ho▫e nihāl.
Your mind and body will be immaculate and blissful;
|
ਰਸਨਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਜਪਤ ਗੋਪਾਲ ॥੩॥
रसना नामु जपत गोपाल ॥३॥
Rasnā nām japaṯ gopāl. ||3||
chant the Name of the Lord of the Universe with your tongue. ||3||
|
ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਦੀਨ ਦਇਆਲਾ ॥
करि किरपा मेरे दीन दइआला ॥
Kar kirpā mere ḏīn ḏa▫i▫ālā.
Grant Your Kind Mercy, O my Lord, Merciful to the meek.
|
ਸਾਧੂ ਕੀ ਮਨੁ ਮੰਗੈ ਰਵਾਲਾ ॥
साधू की मनु मंगै रवाला ॥
Sāḏẖū kī man mangai ravālā.
My mind begs for the dust of the feet of the Holy.
|
ਹੋਹੁ ਦਇਆਲ ਦੇਹੁ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਦਾਨੁ ॥
होहु दइआल देहु प्रभ दानु ॥
Hohu ḏa▫i▫āl ḏeh parabẖ ḏān.
Be merciful, and bless me with this gift,

ਨਾਨਕੁ ਜਪਿ ਜੀਵੈ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਨਾਮੁ ॥੪॥੧੧॥੧੩॥
नानकु जपि जीवै प्रभ नामु ॥४॥११॥१३॥
Nānak jap jīvai parabẖ nām. ||4||11||13||
that Nanak may live, chanting God's Name. ||4||11||13||

Gond, Fifth Mehl:

ਧੂਪ ਦੀਪ ਸੇਵਾ ਗੋਪਾਲ ॥
धूप दीप सेवा गोपाल ॥
Ḏẖūp ḏīp sevā gopāl.
My incense and lamps are my service to the Lord.
|
ਅਨਿਕ ਬਾਰ ਬੰਦਨ ਕਰਤਾਰ ॥
अनिक बार बंदन करतार ॥
Anik bār banḏan karṯār.
Time and time again, I humbly bow to the Creator.
|
ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੀ ਸਰਣਿ ਗਹੀ ਸਭ ਤਿਆਗਿ ॥
प्रभ की सरणि गही सभ तिआगि ॥
Parabẖ kī saraṇ gahī sabẖ ṯi▫āg.
I have renounced everything, and grasped the Sanctuary of God.
|
ਗੁਰ ਸੁਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਭਏ ਵਡ ਭਾਗਿ ॥੧॥
गुर सुप्रसंन भए वड भागि ॥१॥
Gur suparsan bẖa▫e vad bẖāg. ||1||
By great good fortune, the Guru has become pleased and satisfied with me. ||1||
|
ਆਠ ਪਹਰ ਗਾਈਐ ਗੋਬਿੰਦੁ ॥
आठ पहर गाईऐ गोबिंदु ॥
Āṯẖ pahar gā▫ī▫ai gobinḏ.
Twenty-four hours a day, I sing of the Lord of the Universe.

ਤਨੁ ਧਨੁ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕਾ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੀ ਜਿੰਦੁ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਰਮਤ ਭਏ ਆਨੰਦ ॥
हरि गुण रमत भए आनंद ॥
Har guṇ ramaṯ bẖa▫e ānanḏ.
Chanting the Glorious Praises of the Lord, I am in bliss.
|
ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਪੂਰਨ ਬਖਸੰਦ ॥
पारब्रहम पूरन बखसंद ॥
Pārbarahm pūran bakẖsanḏ.
The Supreme Lord God is the Perfect Forgiver.
|
ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਜਨ ਸੇਵਾ ਲਾਏ ॥
करि किरपा जन सेवा लाए ॥
Kar kirpā jan sevā lā▫e.
Granting His Mercy, He has linked His humble servants to His service.
|
ਜਨਮ ਮਰਣ ਦੁਖ ਮੇਟਿ ਮਿਲਾਏ ॥੨॥
जनम मरण दुख मेटि मिलाए ॥२॥
Janam maraṇ ḏukẖ met milā▫e. ||2||
He has rid me of the pains of birth and death, and merged me with Himself. ||2||
|
ਕਰਮ ਧਰਮ ਇਹੁ ਤਤੁ ਗਿਆਨੁ ॥
करम धरम इहु ततु गिआनु ॥
Karam ḏẖaram ih ṯaṯ gi▫ān.
This is the essence of karma, righteous conduct and spiritual wisdom,
|
ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿ ਜਪੀਐ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ॥
साधसंगि जपीऐ हरि नामु ॥
Sāḏẖsang japī▫ai har nām.
to chant the Lord's Name in the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy.

ਸਾਗਰ ਤਰਿ ਬੋਹਿਥ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਚਰਣ ॥
सागर तरि बोहिथ प्रभ चरण ॥
Sāgar ṯar bohith parabẖ cẖaraṇ.
God's Feet are the boat to cross over the world-ocean.
|
ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕਾਰਣ ਕਰਣ ॥੩॥
अंतरजामी प्रभ कारण करण ॥३॥
Anṯarjāmī parabẖ kāraṇ karaṇ. ||3||
God, the Inner-knower, is the Cause of causes. ||3||
|
ਰਾਖਿ ਲੀਏ ਅਪਨੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਧਾਰਿ ॥
राखि लीए अपनी किरपा धारि ॥
Rākẖ lī▫e apnī kirpā ḏẖār.
Showering His Mercy, He Himself has saved me.
|
ਪੰਚ ਦੂਤ ਭਾਗੇ ਬਿਕਰਾਲ ॥
पंच दूत भागे बिकराल ॥
Pancẖ ḏūṯ bẖāge bikrāl.
The five hideous demons have run away.
|
ਜੂਐ ਜਨਮੁ ਨ ਕਬਹੂ ਹਾਰਿ ॥
जूऐ जनमु न कबहू हारि ॥
Jū▫ai janam na kabhū hār.
Do not lose your life in the gamble.
|
ਨਾਨਕ ਕਾ ਅੰਗੁ ਕੀਆ ਕਰਤਾਰਿ ॥੪॥੧੨॥੧੪॥
नानक का अंगु कीआ करतारि ॥४॥१२॥१४॥
Nānak kā ang kī▫ā karṯār. ||4||12||14||
The Creator Lord has taken Nanak's side. ||4||12||14||

Gond, Fifth Mehl:

ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਸੁਖ ਅਨਦ ਕਰੇਇ ॥
करि किरपा सुख अनद करेइ ॥
Kar kirpā sukẖ anaḏ kare▫i.
In His Mercy, He has blessed me with peace and bliss.
|
ਬਾਲਕ ਰਾਖਿ ਲੀਏ ਗੁਰਦੇਵਿ ॥
बालक राखि लीए गुरदेवि ॥
Bālak rākẖ lī▫e gurḏev.
The Divine Guru has saved His child.
|
ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕਿਰਪਾਲ ਦਇਆਲ ਗੋੁਬਿੰਦ ॥
प्रभ किरपाल दइआल गोबिंद ॥
Parabẖ kirpāl ḏa▫i▫āl gobinḏ.
God is kind and compassionate; He is the Lord of the Universe.

ਜੀਅ ਜੰਤ ਸਗਲੇ ਬਖਸਿੰਦ ॥੧॥
जीअ जंत सगले बखसिंद ॥१॥
Jī▫a janṯ sagle bakẖsinḏ. ||1||
He forgives all beings and creatures. ||1||
|
ਤੇਰੀ ਸਰਣਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਦੀਨ ਦਇਆਲ ॥
तेरी सरणि प्रभ दीन दइआल ॥
Ŧerī saraṇ parabẖ ḏīn ḏa▫i▫āl.
I seek Your Sanctuary, O God, O Merciful to the meek.
|
ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਜਪਿ ਸਦਾ ਨਿਹਾਲ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
पारब्रहम जपि सदा निहाल ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Pārbarahm jap saḏā nihāl. ||1|| rahā▫o.
Meditating on the Supreme Lord God, I am forever in ecstasy. ||1||Pause||
|
ਪ੍ਰਭ ਦਇਆਲ ਦੂਸਰ ਕੋਈ ਨਾਹੀ ॥
प्रभ दइआल दूसर कोई नाही ॥
Parabẖ ḏa▫i▫āl ḏūsar ko▫ī nāhī.
There is no other like the Merciful Lord God.
|
ਘਟ ਘਟ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਸਰਬ ਸਮਾਹੀ ॥
घट घट अंतरि सरब समाही ॥
Gẖat gẖat anṯar sarab samāhī.
He is contained deep within each and every heart.
|
ਅਪਨੇ ਦਾਸ ਕਾ ਹਲਤੁ ਪਲਤੁ ਸਵਾਰੈ ॥
अपने दास का हलतु पलतु सवारै ॥
Apne ḏās kā halaṯ palaṯ savārai.
He embellishes His slave, here and hereafter.
|
ਪਤਿਤ ਪਾਵਨ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਬਿਰਦੁ ਤੁਮ੍ਹ੍ਹਾਰੈ ॥੨॥
पतित पावन प्रभ बिरदु तुम्हारै ॥२॥
Paṯiṯ pāvan parabẖ biraḏ ṯumĥārai. ||2||
It is Your nature, God, to purify sinners. ||2||
|
ਅਉਖਧ ਕੋਟਿ ਸਿਮਰਿ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ॥
अउखध कोटि सिमरि गोबिंद ॥
A▫ukẖaḏẖ kot simar gobinḏ.
Meditation on the Lord of the Universe is the medicine to cure millions of illnesses.
|
ਤੰਤੁ ਮੰਤੁ ਭਜੀਐ ਭਗਵੰਤ ॥
तंतु मंतु भजीऐ भगवंत ॥
Ŧanṯ manṯ bẖajī▫ai bẖagvanṯ.
My Tantra and Mantra is to meditate, to vibrate upon the Lord God.
|
ਰੋਗ ਸੋਗ ਮਿਟੇ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਧਿਆਏ ॥
रोग सोग मिटे प्रभ धिआए ॥
Rog sog mite parabẖ ḏẖi▫ā▫e.
Illnesses and pains are dispelled, meditating on God.
|
ਮਨ ਬਾਂਛਤ ਪੂਰਨ ਫਲ ਪਾਏ ॥੩॥
मन बांछत पूरन फल पाए ॥३॥
Man bāʼncẖẖaṯ pūran fal pā▫e. ||3||
The fruits of the mind's desires are fulfilled. ||3||
|
ਕਰਨ ਕਾਰਨ ਸਮਰਥ ਦਇਆਰ ॥
करन कारन समरथ दइआर ॥
Karan kāran samrath ḏa▫i▫ār.
He is the Cause of causes, the All-powerful Merciful Lord.
|
ਸਰਬ ਨਿਧਾਨ ਮਹਾ ਬੀਚਾਰ ॥
सरब निधान महा बीचार ॥
Sarab niḏẖān mahā bīcẖār.
Contemplating Him is the greatest of all treasures.
|
ਨਾਨਕ ਬਖਸਿ ਲੀਏ ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਆਪਿ ॥
नानक बखसि लीए प्रभि आपि ॥
Nānak bakẖas lī▫e parabẖ āp.
God Himself has forgiven Nanak;
|
ਸਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਏਕੋ ਹਰਿ ਜਾਪਿ ॥੪॥੧੩॥੧੫॥
सदा सदा एको हरि जापि ॥४॥१३॥१५॥
Saḏā saḏā eko har jāp. ||4||13||15||
forever and ever, he chants the Name of the One Lord. ||4||13||15||

Har har nām japahu mere mīṯ.
Chant the Name of the Lord, Har, Har, O my friend.
