ਦੁਖ ਬਿਸਾਰਿ ਸੁਖ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਲੀਨਾ ॥੧॥
दुख बिसारि सुख अंतरि लीना ॥१॥
Ḏukẖ bisār sukẖ anṯar līnā. ||1||
My pain is forgotten, and I have found peace deep within myself. ||1||

ਗਿਆਨ ਅੰਜਨੁ ਮੋ ਕਉ ਗੁਰਿ ਦੀਨਾ
गिआन अंजनु मो कउ गुरि दीना ॥
Gi▫ān anjan mo ka▫o gur ḏīnā.
The Guru has blessed me with the ointment of spiritual wisdom.

ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮ ਬਿਨੁ ਜੀਵਨੁ ਮਨ ਹੀਨਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ
राम नाम बिनु जीवनु मन हीना ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Rām nām bin jīvan man hīnā. ||1|| rahā▫o.
Without the Lord's Name, life is mindless. ||1||Pause||

ਨਾਮਦੇਇ ਸਿਮਰਨੁ ਕਰਿ ਜਾਨਾਂ
नामदेइ सिमरनु करि जानां ॥
Nāmḏe▫e simran kar jānāʼn.
Meditating in remembrance, Naam Dayv has come to know the Lord.

ਜਗਜੀਵਨ ਸਿਉ ਜੀਉ ਸਮਾਨਾਂ ॥੨॥੧॥
जगजीवन सिउ जीउ समानां ॥२॥१॥
Jagjīvan si▫o jī▫o samānāʼn. ||2||1||
His soul is blended with the Lord, the Life of the World. ||2||1||

ਬਿਲਾਵਲੁ ਬਾਣੀ ਰਵਿਦਾਸ ਭਗਤ ਕੀ
बिलावलु बाणी रविदास भगत की
Bilāval baṇī Raviḏās bẖagaṯ kī
Bilaaval, The Word Of Devotee Ravi Daas:

ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ
ੴ सतिगुर प्रसादि ॥
Ik▫oaʼnkār saṯgur parsāḏ.
One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:

ਦਾਰਿਦੁ ਦੇਖਿ ਸਭ ਕੋ ਹਸੈ ਐਸੀ ਦਸਾ ਹਮਾਰੀ
दारिदु देखि सभ को हसै ऐसी दसा हमारी ॥
Ḏāriḏ ḏekẖ sabẖ ko hasai aisī ḏasā hamārī.
Seeing my poverty, everyone laughed. Such was my condition.

ਅਸਟ ਦਸਾ ਸਿਧਿ ਕਰ ਤਲੈ ਸਭ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਤੁਮਾਰੀ ॥੧॥
असट दसा सिधि कर तलै सभ क्रिपा तुमारी ॥१॥
Asat ḏasā siḏẖ kar ṯalai sabẖ kirpā ṯumārī. ||1||
Now, I hold the eighteen miraculous spiritual powers in the palm of my hand; everything is by Your Grace. ||1||

ਤੂ ਜਾਨਤ ਮੈ ਕਿਛੁ ਨਹੀ ਭਵ ਖੰਡਨ ਰਾਮ
तू जानत मै किछु नही भव खंडन राम ॥
Ŧū jānaṯ mai kicẖẖ nahī bẖav kẖandan rām.
You know, and I am nothing, O Lord, Destroyer of fear.

ਸਗਲ ਜੀਅ ਸਰਨਾਗਤੀ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਪੂਰਨ ਕਾਮ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ
सगल जीअ सरनागती प्रभ पूरन काम ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Sagal jī▫a sarnāgaṯī parabẖ pūran kām. ||1|| rahā▫o.
All beings seek Your Sanctuary, O God, Fulfiller, Resolver of our affairs. ||1||Pause||

ਜੋ ਤੇਰੀ ਸਰਨਾਗਤਾ ਤਿਨ ਨਾਹੀ ਭਾਰੁ
जो तेरी सरनागता तिन नाही भारु ॥
Jo ṯerī sarnāgaṯā ṯin nāhī bẖār.
Whoever enters Your Sanctuary, is relieved of his burden of sin.

ਊਚ ਨੀਚ ਤੁਮ ਤੇ ਤਰੇ ਆਲਜੁ ਸੰਸਾਰੁ ॥੨॥
ऊच नीच तुम ते तरे आलजु संसारु ॥२॥
Ūcẖ nīcẖ ṯum ṯe ṯare ālaj sansār. ||2||
You have saved the high and the low from the shameless world. ||2||

ਕਹਿ ਰਵਿਦਾਸ ਅਕਥ ਕਥਾ ਬਹੁ ਕਾਇ ਕਰੀਜੈ
कहि रविदास अकथ कथा बहु काइ करीजै ॥
Kahi Raviḏās akath kathā baho kā▫e karījai.
Says Ravi Daas, what more can be said about the Unspoken Speech?

ਜੈਸਾ ਤੂ ਤੈਸਾ ਤੁਹੀ ਕਿਆ ਉਪਮਾ ਦੀਜੈ ॥੩॥੧॥
जैसा तू तैसा तुही किआ उपमा दीजै ॥३॥१॥
Jaisā ṯū ṯaisā ṯuhī ki▫ā upmā ḏījai. ||3||1||
Whatever You are, You are, O Lord; how can anything compare with Your Praises? ||3||1||

ਬਿਲਾਵਲੁ
बिलावलु ॥
Bilāval.
Bilaaval:

ਜਿਹ ਕੁਲ ਸਾਧੁ ਬੈਸਨੌ ਹੋਇ
जिह कुल साधु बैसनौ होइ ॥
Jih kul sāḏẖ baisnou ho▫e.
That family, into which a holy person is born,

ਬਰਨ ਅਬਰਨ ਰੰਕੁ ਨਹੀ ਈਸੁਰੁ ਬਿਮਲ ਬਾਸੁ ਜਾਨੀਐ ਜਗਿ ਸੋਇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ
बरन अबरन रंकु नही ईसुरु बिमल बासु जानीऐ जगि सोइ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Baran abran rank nahī īsur bimal bās jānī▫ai jag so▫e. ||1|| rahā▫o.
whether of high or low social class, whether rich or poor, shall have its pure fragrance spread all over the world. ||1||Pause||

ਬ੍ਰਹਮਨ ਬੈਸ ਸੂਦ ਅਰੁ ਖ੍ਯ੍ਯਤ੍ਰੀ ਡੋਮ ਚੰਡਾਰ ਮਲੇਛ ਮਨ ਸੋਇ
ब्रहमन बैस सूद अरु ख्यत्री डोम चंडार मलेछ मन सोइ ॥
Barahman bais sūḏ ar kẖa▫yṯarī dom cẖandār malecẖẖ man so▫e.
Whether he is a Brahmin, a Vaisya, a Soodra, or a Kshatriya; whether he is a poet, an outcaste, or a filthy-minded person,

ਹੋਇ ਪੁਨੀਤ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਭਜਨ ਤੇ ਆਪੁ ਤਾਰਿ ਤਾਰੇ ਕੁਲ ਦੋਇ ॥੧॥
होइ पुनीत भगवंत भजन ते आपु तारि तारे कुल दोइ ॥१॥
Ho▫e punīṯ bẖagvanṯ bẖajan ṯe āp ṯār ṯāre kul ḏo▫e. ||1||
he becomes pure, by meditating on the Lord God. He saves himself, and the families of both his parents. ||1||

ਧੰਨਿ ਸੁ ਗਾਉ ਧੰਨਿ ਸੋ ਠਾਉ ਧੰਨਿ ਪੁਨੀਤ ਕੁਟੰਬ ਸਭ ਲੋਇ
धंनि सु गाउ धंनि सो ठाउ धंनि पुनीत कुट्मब सभ लोइ ॥
Ḏẖan so gā▫o ḏẖan so ṯẖā▫o ḏẖan punīṯ kutamb sabẖ lo▫e.
Blessed is that village, and blessed is the place of his birth; blessed is his pure family, throughout all the worlds.

ਜਿਨਿ ਪੀਆ ਸਾਰ ਰਸੁ ਤਜੇ ਆਨ ਰਸ ਹੋਇ ਰਸ ਮਗਨ ਡਾਰੇ ਬਿਖੁ ਖੋਇ ॥੨॥
जिनि पीआ सार रसु तजे आन रस होइ रस मगन डारे बिखु खोइ ॥२॥
Jin pī▫ā sār ras ṯaje ān ras ho▫e ras magan dāre bikẖ kẖo▫e. ||2||
One who drinks in the sublime essence abandons other tastes; intoxicated with this divine essence, he discards sin and corruption. ||2||

ਪੰਡਿਤ ਸੂਰ ਛਤ੍ਰਪਤਿ ਰਾਜਾ ਭਗਤ ਬਰਾਬਰਿ ਅਉਰੁ ਕੋਇ
पंडित सूर छत्रपति राजा भगत बराबरि अउरु न कोइ ॥
Pandiṯ sūr cẖẖaṯarpaṯ rājā bẖagaṯ barābar a▫or na ko▫e.
Among the religious scholars, warriors and kings, there is no other equal to the Lord's devotee.

ਜੈਸੇ ਪੁਰੈਨ ਪਾਤ ਰਹੈ ਜਲ ਸਮੀਪ ਭਨਿ ਰਵਿਦਾਸ ਜਨਮੇ ਜਗਿ ਓਇ ॥੩॥੨॥
जैसे पुरैन पात रहै जल समीप भनि रविदास जनमे जगि ओइ ॥३॥२॥
Jaise purain pāṯ rahai jal samīp bẖan Raviḏās janme jag o▫e. ||3||2||
As the leaves of the water lily float free in the water, says Ravi Daas, so is their life in the world. ||3||2||

ਬਾਣੀ ਸਧਨੇ ਕੀ ਰਾਗੁ ਬਿਲਾਵਲੁ
बाणी सधने की रागु बिलावलु
Baṇī saḏẖne kī rāg bilāval
The Word Of Sadhana, Raag Bilaaval:

ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ
ੴ सतिगुर प्रसादि ॥
Ik▫oaʼnkār saṯgur parsāḏ.
One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:

ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਕੰਨਿਆ ਕੇ ਕਾਰਨੈ ਇਕੁ ਭਇਆ ਭੇਖਧਾਰੀ
न्रिप कंनिआ के कारनै इकु भइआ भेखधारी ॥
Nrip kanniā ke kārnai ik bẖa▫i▫ā bẖekẖ▫ḏẖārī.
For a king's daughter, a man disguised himself as Vishnu.

ਕਾਮਾਰਥੀ ਸੁਆਰਥੀ ਵਾ ਕੀ ਪੈਜ ਸਵਾਰੀ ॥੧॥
कामारथी सुआरथी वा की पैज सवारी ॥१॥
Kāmārathī su▫ārthī vā kī paij savārī. ||1||
He did it for sexual exploitation, and for selfish motives, but the Lord protected his honor. ||1||

ਤਵ ਗੁਨ ਕਹਾ ਜਗਤ ਗੁਰਾ ਜਉ ਕਰਮੁ ਨਾਸੈ
तव गुन कहा जगत गुरा जउ करमु न नासै ॥
Ŧav gun kahā jagaṯ gurā ja▫o karam na nāsai.
What is Your value, O Guru of the world, if You will not erase the karma of my past actions?

ਸਿੰਘ ਸਰਨ ਕਤ ਜਾਈਐ ਜਉ ਜੰਬੁਕੁ ਗ੍ਰਾਸੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ
सिंघ सरन कत जाईऐ जउ ज्मबुकु ग्रासै ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Singẖ saran kaṯ jā▫ī▫ai ja▫o jaʼnbuk garāsai. ||1|| rahā▫o.
Why seek safety from a lion, if one is to be eaten by a jackal? ||1||Pause||

ਏਕ ਬੂੰਦ ਜਲ ਕਾਰਨੇ ਚਾਤ੍ਰਿਕੁ ਦੁਖੁ ਪਾਵੈ
एक बूंद जल कारने चात्रिकु दुखु पावै ॥
Ėk būnḏ jal kārne cẖāṯrik ḏukẖ pāvai.
For the sake of a single rain-drop, the rainbird suffers in pain.

ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਗਏ ਸਾਗਰੁ ਮਿਲੈ ਫੁਨਿ ਕਾਮਿ ਆਵੈ ॥੨॥
प्रान गए सागरु मिलै फुनि कामि न आवै ॥२॥
Parān ga▫e sāgar milai fun kām na āvai. ||2||
When its breath of life is gone, even an ocean is of no use to it. ||2||

ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਜੁ ਥਾਕੇ ਥਿਰੁ ਨਹੀ ਕੈਸੇ ਬਿਰਮਾਵਉ
प्रान जु थाके थिरु नही कैसे बिरमावउ ॥
Parān jo thāke thir nahī kaise birmāva▫o.
Now, my life has grown weary, and I shall not last much longer; how can I be patient?

ਬੂਡਿ ਮੂਏ ਨਉਕਾ ਮਿਲੈ ਕਹੁ ਕਾਹਿ ਚਢਾਵਉ ॥੩॥
बूडि मूए नउका मिलै कहु काहि चढावउ ॥३॥
Būd mū▫e na▫ukā milai kaho kāhi cẖadẖāva▫o. ||3||
If I drown and die, and then a boat comes along, tell me, how shall I climb aboard? ||3||

ਮੈ ਨਾਹੀ ਕਛੁ ਹਉ ਨਹੀ ਕਿਛੁ ਆਹਿ ਮੋਰਾ
मै नाही कछु हउ नही किछु आहि न मोरा ॥
Mai nāhī kacẖẖ ha▫o nahī kicẖẖ āhi na morā.
I am nothing, I have nothing, and nothing belongs to me.

ਅਉਸਰ ਲਜਾ ਰਾਖਿ ਲੇਹੁ ਸਧਨਾ ਜਨੁ ਤੋਰਾ ॥੪॥੧॥
अउसर लजा राखि लेहु सधना जनु तोरा ॥४॥१॥
A▫osar lajā rākẖ leho saḏẖnā jan ṯorā. ||4||1||
Now, protect my honor; Sadhana is Your humble servant. ||4||1||
