ਤੁਮ੍ਹ੍ਹ ਸਮਰਥਾ ਕਾਰਨ ਕਰਨ ॥
तुम्ह समरथा कारन करन ॥
Ŧumĥ samrathā kāran karan.
You are the all-powerful Cause of causes.

ਢਾਕਨ ਢਾਕਿ ਗੋਬਿਦ ਗੁਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਮੋਹਿ ਅਪਰਾਧੀ ਸਰਨ ਚਰਨ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ढाकन ढाकि गोबिद गुर मेरे मोहि अपराधी सरन चरन ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Dẖākan dẖāk gobiḏ gur mere mohi aprāḏẖī saran cẖaran. ||1|| rahā▫o.
Please cover my faults, Lord of the Universe, O my Guru; I am a sinner - I seek the Sanctuary of Your Feet. ||1||Pause||

ਜੋ ਜੋ ਕੀਨੋ ਸੋ ਤੁਮ੍ਹ੍ਹ ਜਾਨਿਓ ਪੇਖਿਓ ਠਉਰ ਨਾਹੀ ਕਛੁ ਢੀਠ ਮੁਕਰਨ ॥
जो जो कीनो सो तुम्ह जानिओ पेखिओ ठउर नाही कछु ढीठ मुकरन ॥
Jo jo kīno so ṯumĥ jāni▫o pekẖi▫o ṯẖa▫ur nāhī kacẖẖ dẖīṯẖ mukran.
Whatever we do, You see and know; there is no way anyone can stubbornly deny this.

ਬਡ ਪਰਤਾਪੁ ਸੁਨਿਓ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਤੁਮ੍ਹ੍ਹਰੋ ਕੋਟਿ ਅਘਾ ਤੇਰੋ ਨਾਮ ਹਰਨ ॥੧॥
बड परतापु सुनिओ प्रभ तुम्हरो कोटि अघा तेरो नाम हरन ॥१॥
Bad parṯāp suni▫o parabẖ ṯumĥro kot agẖā ṯero nām haran. ||1||
Your glorious radiance is great! So I have heard, O God. Millions of sins are destroyed by Your Name. ||1||

ਹਮਰੋ ਸਹਾਉ ਸਦਾ ਸਦ ਭੂਲਨ ਤੁਮ੍ਹ੍ਹਰੋ ਬਿਰਦੁ ਪਤਿਤ ਉਧਰਨ ॥
हमरो सहाउ सदा सद भूलन तुम्हरो बिरदु पतित उधरन ॥
Hamro sahā▫o saḏā saḏ bẖūlan ṯumĥro biraḏ paṯiṯ uḏẖran.
It is my nature to make mistakes, forever and ever; it is Your Natural Way to save sinners.

ਕਰੁਣਾ ਮੈ ਕਿਰਪਾਲ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਨਿਧਿ ਜੀਵਨ ਪਦ ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਦਰਸਨ ॥੨॥੨॥੧੧੮॥
करुणा मै किरपाल क्रिपा निधि जीवन पद नानक हरि दरसन ॥२॥२॥११८॥
Karuṇā mai kirpāl kirpā niḏẖ jīvan paḏ Nānak har ḏarsan. ||2||2||118||
You are the embodiment of kindness, and the treasure of compassion, O Merciful Lord; through the Blessed Vision of Your Darshan, Nanak has found the state of redemption in life. ||2||2||118||

ਐਸੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਮੋਹਿ ਕਰਹੁ ॥
ऐसी किरपा मोहि करहु ॥
Aisī kirpā mohi karahu.
Bless me with such mercy, Lord,

ਸੰਤਹ ਚਰਣ ਹਮਾਰੋ ਮਾਥਾ ਨੈਨ ਦਰਸੁ ਤਨਿ ਧੂਰਿ ਪਰਹੁ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
संतह चरण हमारो माथा नैन दरसु तनि धूरि परहु ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Sanṯėh cẖaraṇ hamāro māthā nain ḏaras ṯan ḏẖūr parahu. ||1|| rahā▫o.
that my forehead may touch the feet of the Saints, and my eyes may behold the Blessed Vision of their Darshan, and my body may fall at the dust of their feet. ||1||Pause||

ਗੁਰ ਕੋ ਸਬਦੁ ਮੇਰੈ ਹੀਅਰੈ ਬਾਸੈ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮਾ ਮਨ ਸੰਗਿ ਧਰਹੁ ॥
गुर को सबदु मेरै हीअरै बासै हरि नामा मन संगि धरहु ॥
Gur ko sabaḏ merai hī▫arai bāsai har nāmā man sang ḏẖarahu.
May the Word of the Guru's Shabad abide within my heart, and the Lord's Name be enshrined within my mind.

ਤਸਕਰ ਪੰਚ ਨਿਵਾਰਹੁ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਸਗਲੋ ਭਰਮਾ ਹੋਮਿ ਜਰਹੁ ॥੧॥
तसकर पंच निवारहु ठाकुर सगलो भरमा होमि जरहु ॥१॥
Ŧaskar pancẖ nivārahu ṯẖākur saglo bẖarmā hom jarahu. ||1||
Drive out the five thieves, O my Lord and Master, and let my doubts all burn like incense. ||1||
|
ਜੋ ਤੁਮ੍ਹ੍ਹ ਕਰਹੁ ਸੋਈ ਭਲ ਮਾਨੈ ਭਾਵਨੁ ਦੁਬਿਧਾ ਦੂਰਿ ਟਰਹੁ ॥
जो तुम्ह करहु सोई भल मानै भावनु दुबिधा दूरि टरहु ॥
Jo ṯumĥ karahu so▫ī bẖal mānai bẖāvan ḏubiḏẖā ḏūr tarahu.
Whatever You do, I accept as good; I have driven out the sense of duality.

ਨਾਨਕ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਤੁਮ ਹੀ ਦਾਤੇ ਸੰਤਸੰਗਿ ਲੇ ਮੋਹਿ ਉਧਰਹੁ ॥੨॥੩॥੧੧੯॥
नानक के प्रभ तुम ही दाते संतसंगि ले मोहि उधरहु ॥२॥३॥११९॥
Nānak ke parabẖ ṯum hī ḏāṯe saṯsang le mohi uḏẖrahu. ||2||3||119||
You are Nanak's God, the Great Giver; in the Congregation of the Saints, emancipate me. ||2||3||119||

ਐਸੀ ਦੀਖਿਆ ਜਨ ਸਿਉ ਮੰਗਾ ॥
ऐसी दीखिआ जन सिउ मंगा ॥
Aisī ḏīkẖi▫ā jan si▫o mangā.
I ask for such advice from Your humble servants,

ਤੁਮ੍ਹ੍ਹਰੋ ਧਿਆਨੁ ਤੁਮ੍ਹ੍ਹਾਰੋ ਰੰਗਾ ॥
तुम्हरो धिआनु तुम्हारो रंगा ॥
Ŧumĥro ḏẖi▫ān ṯumĥāro rangā.
that I may meditate on You, and love You,

ਤੁਮ੍ਹ੍ਹਰੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਤੁਮ੍ਹ੍ਹਾਰੇ ਅੰਗਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
तुम्हरी सेवा तुम्हारे अंगा ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Ŧumĥrī sevā ṯumĥāre angā. ||1|| rahā▫o.
and serve You, and become part and parcel of Your Being. ||1||Pause||

ਜਨ ਕੀ ਟਹਲ ਸੰਭਾਖਨੁ ਜਨ ਸਿਉ ਊਠਨੁ ਬੈਠਨੁ ਜਨ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਾ ॥
जन की टहल स्मभाखनु जन सिउ ऊठनु बैठनु जन कै संगा ॥
Jan kī tahal sambẖākẖan jan si▫o ūṯẖan baiṯẖan jan kai sangā.
I serve His humble servants, and speak with them, and abide with them.

ਜਨ ਚਰ ਰਜ ਮੁਖਿ ਮਾਥੈ ਲਾਗੀ ਆਸਾ ਪੂਰਨ ਅਨੰਤ ਤਰੰਗਾ ॥੧॥
जन चर रज मुखि माथै लागी आसा पूरन अनंत तरंगा ॥१॥
Jan cẖar raj mukẖ māthai lāgī āsā pūran ananṯ ṯarangā. ||1||
I apply the dust of the feet of His humble servants to my face and forehead; my hopes, and the many waves of desire, are fulfilled. ||1||

ਜਨ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਜਾ ਕੀ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਜਨ ਕੇ ਚਰਨ ਤੀਰਥ ਕੋਟਿ ਗੰਗਾ ॥
जन पारब्रहम जा की निरमल महिमा जन के चरन तीरथ कोटि गंगा ॥
Jan pārbarahm jā kī nirmal mahimā jan ke cẖaran ṯirath kot gangā.
Immaculate and pure are the praises of the humble servants of the Supreme Lord God; the feet of His humble servants are equal to millions of sacred shrines of pilgrimage.

ਜਨ ਕੀ ਧੂਰਿ ਕੀਓ ਮਜਨੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਜਨਮ ਜਨਮ ਕੇ ਹਰੇ ਕਲੰਗਾ ॥੨॥੪॥੧੨੦॥
जन की धूरि कीओ मजनु नानक जनम जनम के हरे कलंगा ॥२॥४॥१२०॥
Jan kī ḏẖūr kī▫o majan Nānak janam janam ke hare kalangā. ||2||4||120||
Nanak bathes in the dust of the feet of His humble servants; the sinful resides of countless incarnations have been washed away. ||2||4||120||

ਜਿਉ ਭਾਵੈ ਤਿਉ ਮੋਹਿ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਾਲ ॥
जिउ भावै तिउ मोहि प्रतिपाल ॥
Ji▫o bẖāvai ṯi▫o mohi parṯipāl.
If it pleases You, then cherish me.

ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਪਰਮੇਸਰ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਹਮ ਬਾਰਿਕ ਤੁਮ੍ਹ੍ਹ ਪਿਤਾ ਕਿਰਪਾਲ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
पारब्रहम परमेसर सतिगुर हम बारिक तुम्ह पिता किरपाल ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Pārbarahm parmesar saṯgur ham bārik ṯumĥ piṯā kirpāl. ||1|| rahā▫o.
O Supreme Lord God, Transcendent Lord, O True Guru, I am Your child, and You are my Merciful Father. ||1||Pause||

ਮੋਹਿ ਨਿਰਗੁਣ ਗੁਣੁ ਨਾਹੀ ਕੋਈ ਪਹੁਚਿ ਨ ਸਾਕਉ ਤੁਮ੍ਹ੍ਹਰੀ ਘਾਲ ॥
मोहि निरगुण गुणु नाही कोई पहुचि न साकउ तुम्हरी घाल ॥
Mohi nirguṇ guṇ nāhī ko▫ī pahucẖ na sāka▫o ṯumĥrī gẖāl.
I am worthless; I have no virtues at all. I cannot understand Your actions.

ਤੁਮਰੀ ਗਤਿ ਮਿਤਿ ਤੁਮ ਹੀ ਜਾਨਹੁ ਜੀਉ ਪਿੰਡੁ ਸਭੁ ਤੁਮਰੋ ਮਾਲ ॥੧॥
तुमरी गति मिति तुम ही जानहु जीउ पिंडु सभु तुमरो माल ॥१॥
Ŧumrī gaṯ miṯ ṯum hī jānhu jī▫o pind sabẖ ṯumro māl. ||1||
You alone know Your state and extent. My soul, body and property are all Yours. ||1||

ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ ਪੁਰਖ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਅਨਬੋਲਤ ਹੀ ਜਾਨਹੁ ਹਾਲ ॥
अंतरजामी पुरख सुआमी अनबोलत ही जानहु हाल ॥
Anṯarjāmī purakẖ su▫āmī anbolaṯ hī jānhu hāl.
You are the Inner-knower, the Searcher of hearts, the Primal Lord and Master; You know even what is unspoken.

ਤਨੁ ਮਨੁ ਸੀਤਲੁ ਹੋਇ ਹਮਾਰੋ ਨਾਨਕ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਜੀਉ ਨਦਰਿ ਨਿਹਾਲ ॥੨॥੫॥੧੨੧॥
तनु मनु सीतलु होइ हमारो नानक प्रभ जीउ नदरि निहाल ॥२॥५॥१२१॥
Ŧan man sīṯal ho▫e hamāro Nānak parabẖ jī▫o naḏar nihāl. ||2||5||121||
My body and mind are cooled and soothed, O Nanak, by God's Glance of Grace. ||2||5||121||

Keep me with You forever, O God.

ਤੂ ਹਮਰੋ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮੁ ਮਨਮੋਹਨੁ ਤੁਝ ਬਿਨੁ ਜੀਵਨੁ ਸਗਲ ਅਕਾਥ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
तू हमरो प्रीतमु मनमोहनु तुझ बिनु जीवनु सगल अकाथ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Ŧū hamro parīṯam manmohan ṯujẖ bin jīvan sagal akāth. ||1|| rahā▫o.
You are my Beloved, the Enticer of my mind; without You, my life is totally useless. ||1||Pause||

ਰੰਕ ਤੇ ਰਾਉ ਕਰਤ ਖਿਨ ਭੀਤਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਮੇਰੋ ਅਨਾਥ ਕੋ ਨਾਥ ॥
रंक ते राउ करत खिन भीतरि प्रभु मेरो अनाथ को नाथ ॥
Rank ṯe rā▫o karaṯ kẖin bẖīṯar parabẖ mero anāth ko nāth.
In an instant, You transform the beggar into a king; O my God, You are the Master of the masterless.

ਜਲਤ ਅਗਨਿ ਮਹਿ ਜਨ ਆਪਿ ਉਧਾਰੇ ਕਰਿ ਅਪੁਨੇ ਦੇ ਰਾਖੇ ਹਾਥ ॥੧॥
जलत अगनि महि जन आपि उधारे करि अपुने दे राखे हाथ ॥१॥
Jalaṯ agan mėh jan āp uḏẖāre kar apune ḏe rākẖe hāth. ||1||
You save Your humble servants from the burning fire; You make them Your own, and with Your Hand, You protect them. ||1||
|
ਸੀਤਲ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਇਓ ਮਨ ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤੇ ਹਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਤ ਸ੍ਰਮ ਸਗਲੇ ਲਾਥ ॥
सीतल सुखु पाइओ मन त्रिपते हरि सिमरत स्रम सगले लाथ ॥
Sīṯal sukẖ pā▫i▫o man ṯaripṯai har simraṯ saram sagle lāth.
I have found peace and cool tranquility, and my mind is satisfied; meditating in remembrance on the Lord, all struggles are ended.

ਨਿਧਿ ਨਿਧਾਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਸੇਵਾ ਅਵਰ ਸਿਆਨਪ ਸਗਲ ਅਕਾਥ ॥੨॥੬॥੧੨੨॥
निधि निधान नानक हरि सेवा अवर सिआनप सगल अकाथ ॥२॥६॥१२२॥
Niḏẖ niḏẖān Nānak har sevā avar si▫ānap sagal akāth.
Service to the Lord, O Nanak, is the treasure of treasures; all other clever tricks are useless. ||2||6||122||
