ਕਹਾ ਕਰੈ ਕੋਈ ਬੇਚਾਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਮੇਰੇ ਕਾ ਬਡ ਪਰਤਾਪੁ ॥੧॥
कहा करै कोई बेचारा प्रभ मेरे का बड परतापु ॥१॥
Kahā karai ko▫ī becẖārā parabẖ mere kā bad parṯāp. ||1||
What can any wretched creature do to me? The radiance of my God is gloriously great. ||1||

ਸਿਮਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਿ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਰਖੁ ਮਨ ਮਾਹੀ ॥
सिमरि सिमरि सिमरि सुखु पाइआ चरन कमल रखु मन माही ॥
Simar simar simar sukẖ pā▫i▫ā cẖaran kamal rakẖ man māhī.
Meditating, meditating, meditating in remembrance, I have found peace; I have enshrined His Lotus Feet within my mind.

ਤਾ ਕੀ ਸਰਨਿ ਪਰਿਓ ਨਾਨਕ ਦਾਸੁ ਜਾ ਤੇ ਊਪਰਿ ਕੋ ਨਾਹੀ ॥੨॥੧੨॥੯੮॥
ता की सरनि परिओ नानक दासु जा ते ऊपरि को नाही ॥२॥१२॥९८॥
Ŧā kī saran pari▫o Nānak ḏās jā ṯe ūpar ko nāhī. ||2||12||98||
Slave Nanak has entered His Sanctuary; there is none above Him. ||2||12||98||

ਸਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਜਪੀਐ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਨਾਮ ॥
सदा सदा जपीऐ प्रभ नाम ॥
Saḏā saḏā japī▫ai parabẖ nām.
Forever and ever, chant the Name of God.
|
ਜਰਾ ਮਰਾ ਕਛੁ ਦੂਖੁ ਨ ਬਿਆਪੈ ਆਗੈ ਦਰਗਹ ਪੂਰਨ ਕਾਮ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
जरा मरा कछु दूखु न बिआपै आगै दरगह पूरन काम ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Jarā marā kacẖẖ ḏūkẖ na bi▫āpai āgai ḏargėh pūran kām. ||1|| rahā▫o.
The pains of old age and death shall not afflict you, and in the Court of the Lord hereafter, your affairs shall be perfectly resolved. ||1||Pause||

ਆਪੁ ਤਿਆਗਿ ਪਰੀਐ ਨਿਤ ਸਰਨੀ ਗੁਰ ਤੇ ਪਾਈਐ ਏਹੁ ਨਿਧਾਨੁ ॥
आपु तिआगि परीऐ नित सरनी गुर ते पाईऐ एहु निधानु ॥
Āp ṯi▫āg parī▫ai niṯ sarnī gur ṯe pā▫ī▫ai ehu niḏẖān.
So forsake your self-conceit, and ever seek Sanctuary. This treasure is obtained only from the Guru.

ਜਨਮ ਮਰਣ ਕੀ ਕਟੀਐ ਫਾਸੀ ਸਾਚੀ ਦਰਗਹ ਕਾ ਨੀਸਾਨੁ ॥੧॥
जनम मरण की कटीऐ फासी साची दरगह का नीसानु ॥१॥
Janam maraṇ kī katī▫ai fāsī sācẖī ḏargėh kā nīsān. ||1||
The noose of birth and death is snapped; this is the insignia, the hallmark, of the Court of the True Lord. ||1||

ਜੋ ਤੁਮ੍ਹ੍ਹ ਕਰਹੁ ਸੋਈ ਭਲ ਮਾਨਉ ਮਨ ਤੇ ਛੂਟੈ ਸਗਲ ਗੁਮਾਨੁ ॥
जो तुम्ह करहु सोई भल मानउ मन ते छूटै सगल गुमानु ॥
Jo ṯumĥ karahu so▫ī bẖal mān▫o man ṯe cẖẖūtai sagal gumān.
Whatever You do, I accept as good. I have eradicated all egotistical pride from my mind.

ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਤਾ ਕੀ ਸਰਣਾਈ ਜਾ ਕਾ ਕੀਆ ਸਗਲ ਜਹਾਨੁ ॥੨॥੧੩॥੯੯॥
कहु नानक ता की सरणाई जा का कीआ सगल जहानु ॥२॥१३॥९९॥
Kaho Nānak ṯā kī sarṇā▫ī jā kā kī▫ā sagal jahān. ||2||13||99||
Says Nanak, I am under His protection; He created the entire Universe. ||2||13||99||

ਮਨ ਤਨ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਆਹੀ ॥
मन तन अंतरि प्रभु आही ॥
Man ṯan anṯar parabẖ āhī.
Deep within the nucleus of his mind and body, is God.
|
ਹਰਿ ਗੁਨ ਗਾਵਤ ਪਰਉਪਕਾਰ ਨਿਤ ਤਿਸੁ ਰਸਨਾ ਕਾ ਮੋਲੁ ਕਿਛੁ ਨਾਹੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
हरि गुन गावत परउपकार नित तिसु रसना का मोलु किछु नाही ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Har gun gāvaṯ par▫upkār niṯ ṯis rasnā kā mol kicẖẖ nāhī. ||1|| rahā▫o.
He continually sings the Glorious Praises of the Lord, and always does good for others; his tongue is priceless. ||1||Pause||

ਕੁਲ ਸਮੂਹ ਉਧਰੇ ਖਿਨ ਭੀਤਰਿ ਜਨਮ ਜਨਮ ਕੀ ਮਲੁ ਲਾਹੀ ॥
कुल समूह उधरे खिन भीतरि जनम जनम की मलु लाही ॥
Kul samūh uḏẖre kẖin bẖīṯar janam janam kī mal lāhī.
All his generations are redeemed and saved in an instant, and the filth of countless incarnations is washed away.

ਸਿਮਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਿ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਅਪਨਾ ਅਨਦ ਸੇਤੀ ਬਿਖਿਆ ਬਨੁ ਗਾਹੀ ॥੧॥
सिमरि सिमरि सुआमी प्रभु अपना अनद सेती बिखिआ बनु गाही ॥१॥
Simar simar su▫āmī parabẖ apnā anaḏ seṯī bikẖi▫ā ban gāhī. ||1||
Meditating, meditating in remembrance on God, his Lord and Master, he passes blissfully through the forest of poison. ||1||

ਚਰਨ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਕੇ ਬੋਹਿਥੁ ਪਾਏ ਭਵ ਸਾਗਰੁ ਪਾਰਿ ਪਰਾਹੀ ॥
चरन प्रभू के बोहिथु पाए भव सागरु पारि पराही ॥
Cẖaran parabẖū ke bohith pā▫e bẖav sāgar pār parāhī.
I have obtained the boat of God's Feet, to carry me across the terrifying world-ocean.

ਸੰਤ ਸੇਵਕ ਭਗਤ ਹਰਿ ਤਾ ਕੇ ਨਾਨਕ ਮਨੁ ਲਾਗਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਹੀ ॥੨॥੧੪॥੧੦੦॥
संत सेवक भगत हरि ता के नानक मनु लागा है ताही ॥२॥१४॥१००॥
Sanṯ sevak bẖagaṯ har ṯā ke Nānak man lāgā hai ṯāhī. ||2||14||100||
The Saints, servants and devotees belong to the Lord; Nanak's mind is attached to Him. ||2||14||100||

ਧੀਰਉ ਦੇਖਿ ਤੁਮ੍ਹ੍ਹਾਰੇ ਰੰਗਾ ॥
धीरउ देखि तुम्हारै रंगा ॥
Ḏẖīra▫o ḏekẖ ṯumĥārai rangā.
I am reassured, gazing upon Your wondrous play.

ਤੁਹੀ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ ਤੂਹੀ ਵਸਹਿ ਸਾਧ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
तुही सुआमी अंतरजामी तूही वसहि साध कै संगा ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Ŧuhī su▫āmī anṯarjāmī ṯūhī vasėh sāḏẖ kai sangā. ||1|| rahā▫o.
You are my Lord and Master, the Inner-knower, the Searcher of hearts; You dwell with the Holy Saints. ||1||Pause||

ਖਿਨ ਮਹਿ ਥਾਪਿ ਨਿਵਾਜੇ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਨੀਚ ਕੀਟ ਤੇ ਕਰਹਿ ਰਾਜੰਗਾ ॥੧॥
खिन महि थापि निवाजे ठाकुर नीच कीट ते करहि राजंगा ॥१॥
Kẖin mėh thāp nivāje ṯẖākur nīcẖ kīt ṯe karahi rājangā. ||1||
In an instant, our Lord and Master establishes and exalts. From a lowly worm, He creates a king. ||1||
|
ਕਬਹੂ ਨ ਬਿਸਰੈ ਹੀਏ ਮੋਰੇ ਤੇ ਨਾਨਕ ਦਾਸ ਇਹੀ ਦਾਨੁ ਮੰਗਾ ॥੨॥੧੫॥੧੦੧॥
कबहू न बिसरै हीए मोरे ते नानक दास इही दानु मंगा ॥२॥१५॥१०१॥
Kabhū na bisrai hī▫e more ṯe Nānak ḏās ihī ḏān mangā. ||2||15||101||
May I never forget You from my heart; slave Nanak prays for this blessing. ||2||15||101||

ਅਚੁਤ ਪੂਜਾ ਜੋਗ ਗੋਪਾਲ ॥
अचुत पूजा जोग गोपाल ॥
Acẖuṯ pūjā jog gopāl.
The imperishable Lord God is worthy of worship and adoration.

ਮਨੁ ਤਨੁ ਅਰਪਿ ਰਖਉ ਹਰਿ ਆਗੈ ਸਰਬ ਜੀਆ ਕਾ ਹੈ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਾਲ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
मनु तनु अरपि रखउ हरि आगै सरब जीआ का है प्रतिपाल ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Man ṯan arap rakẖa▫o har āgai sarab jī▫ā kā hai parṯipāl. ||1|| rahā▫o.
Dedicating my mind and body, I place them before the Lord, the Cherisher of all beings. ||1||Pause||

ਸਰਨਿ ਸਮ੍ਰਥ ਅਕਥ ਸੁਖਦਾਤਾ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਸਿੰਧੁ ਬਡੋ ਦਇਆਲ ॥
सरनि सम्रथ अकथ सुखदाता किरपा सिंधु बडो दइआल ॥
Saran samrath akath sukẖ▫ḏāṯa kirpā sinḏẖ bado ḏa▫i▫āl.
His Sanctuary is All-powerful; He cannot be described; He is the Giver of peace, the ocean of mercy, supremely compassionate.

ਕੰਠਿ ਲਾਇ ਰਾਖੈ ਅਪਨੇ ਕਉ ਤਿਸ ਨੋ ਲਗੈ ਨ ਤਾਤੀ ਬਾਲ ॥੧॥
कंठि लाइ राखै अपने कउ तिस नो लगै न ताती बाल ॥१॥
Kanṯẖ lā▫e rākẖai apne ka▫o ṯis no lagai na ṯāṯī bāl. ||1||
Holding him close in His embrace, the Lord protects and saves him, and then even the hot wind cannot touch him. ||1||
|
ਦਾਮੋਦਰ ਦਇਆਲ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਸਰਬਸੁ ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾ ਧਨ ਮਾਲ ॥
दामोदर दइआल सुआमी सरबसु संत जना धन माल ॥
Ḏāmoḏar ḏa▫i▫āl su▫āmī sarbas sanṯ janā ḏẖan māl.
Our Merciful Lord and Master is wealth, property and everything to His humble Saints.

ਨਾਨਕ ਜਾਚਿਕ ਦਰਸੁ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਮਾਗੈ ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾ ਕੀ ਮਿਲੈ ਰਵਾਲ ॥੨॥੧੬॥੧੦੨॥
नानक जाचिक दरसु प्रभ मागै संत जना की मिलै रवाल ॥२॥१६॥१०२॥
Nānak jācẖik ḏaras parabẖ māgai sanṯ janā kī milai ravāl. ||2||16||102||
Nanak, a beggar, asks for the Blessed Vision of God's Darshan; please, bless him with the dust of the feet of the Saints. ||2||16||102||

ਸਿਮਰਤ ਨਾਮੁ ਕੋਟਿ ਜਤਨ ਭਏ ॥

Simraṯ nām kot jaṯan bẖa▫e.
Meditating on the Naam, the Name of the Lord, is equal to millions of efforts.

ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿ ਮਿਲਿ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਨ ਗਾਏ ਜਮਦੂਤਨ ਕਉ ਤ੍ਰਾਸ ਅਹੇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
साधसंगि मिलि हरि गुन गाए जमदूतन कउ त्रास अहे ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Sāḏẖsang mil har gun gā▫e jamḏūṯan ka▫o ṯarās ahe. ||1|| rahā▫o.
Joining the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord, and the Messenger of Death will be frightened away. ||1||Pause||

ਜੇਤੇ ਪੁਨਹਚਰਨ ਸੇ ਕੀਨ੍ਹ੍ਹੇ ਮਨਿ ਤਨਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੇ ਚਰਣ ਗਹੇ ॥
जेते पुनहचरन से कीन्हे मनि तनि प्रभ के चरण गहे ॥
Jeṯe punahcẖaran se kīnĥe man ṯan parabẖ ke cẖaraṇ gahe.
To enshrine the Feet of God in one's mind and body, is to perform all sorts of acts of atonement.

ਆਵਣ ਜਾਣੁ ਭਰਮੁ ਭਉ ਨਾਠਾ ਜਨਮ ਜਨਮ ਕੇ ਕਿਲਵਿਖ ਦਹੇ ॥੧॥
आवण जाणु भरमु भउ नाठा जनम जनम के किलविख दहे ॥१॥
Āvaṇ jāṇ bẖaram bẖa▫o nāṯẖā janam janam ke kilvikẖ ḏahe. ||1||
Coming and going, doubt and fear have run away, and the sins of countless incarnations are burnt away. ||1||
|
ਨਿਰਭਉ ਹੋਇ ਭਜਹੁ ਜਗਦੀਸੈ ਏਹੁ ਪਦਾਰਥੁ ਵਡਭਾਗਿ ਲਹੇ ॥
निरभउ होइ भजहु जगदीसै एहु पदारथु वडभागि लहे ॥
Nirbẖa▫o ho▫e bẖajahu jagḏīsai ehu paḏārath vadbẖāg lahe.
So become fearless, and vibrate upon the Lord of the Universe. This is true wealth, obtained only by great good fortune.
