ਹਰਿ ਕਪੜੋ ਹਰਿ ਸੋਭਾ ਦੇਵਹੁ ਜਿਤੁ ਸਵਰੈ ਮੇਰਾ ਕਾਜੋ ॥
हरि कपड़ो हरि सोभा देवहु जितु सवरै मेरा काजो ॥
Har kapṛo har sobẖā ḏevhu jiṯ savrai merā kājo.
Grant me God as my raiment, and God as my glory, wherewith my task may be accomplished.

ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਭਗਤੀ ਕਾਜੁ ਸੁਹੇਲਾ ਗੁਰਿ ਸਤਿਗੁਰਿ ਦਾਨੁ ਦਿਵਾਇਆ ॥
हरि हरि भगती काजु सुहेला गुरि सतिगुरि दानु दिवाइआ ॥
Har har bẖagṯī kāj suhelā gur saṯgur ḏān ḏivā▫i▫ā.
Through devotion to Lord God the marriage is rendered pleasant. The great True Guru has given me the gift of God's Name.

ਖੰਡਿ ਵਰਭੰਡਿ ਹਰਿ ਸੋਭਾ ਹੋਈ ਇਹੁ ਦਾਨੁ ਨ ਰਲੈ ਰਲਾਇਆ ॥
खंडि वरभंडि हरि सोभा होई इहु दानु न रलै रलाइआ ॥
Kẖand varbẖand har sobẖā ho▫ī ih ḏān na ralai ralā▫i▫ā.
In continents and the universe has spread the glory of God. This gift of the Name cannot be confounded with others by confounding.

ਹੋਰਿ ਮਨਮੁਖ ਦਾਜੁ ਜਿ ਰਖਿ ਦਿਖਾਲਹਿ ਸੁ ਕੂੜੁ ਅਹੰਕਾਰੁ ਕਚੁ ਪਾਜੋ ॥
होरि मनमुख दाजु जि रखि दिखालहि सु कूड़ु अहंकारु कचु पाजो ॥
Hor manmukẖ ḏāj jė rakẖ ḏikẖālėh so kūṛ ahaʼnkār kacẖ pājo.
Any other dowry which the perverse place for show that is false pride and worthless gilding.

ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਮੇਰੇ ਬਾਬੁਲਾ ਹਰਿ ਦੇਵਹੁ ਦਾਨੁ ਮੈ ਦਾਜੋ ॥੪॥
हरि प्रभ मेरे बाबुला हरि देवहु दानु मै दाजो ॥४॥
Har parabẖ mere babulā har ḏevhu ḏān mai ḏājo. ||4||
O My Father! give me the Name of Lord God as a gift and dowry.

ਹਰਿ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਮ ਮੇਰੇ ਬਾਬੋਲਾ ਪਿਰ ਮਿਲਿ ਧਨ ਵੇਲ ਵਧੰਦੀ ॥
हरि राम राम मेरे बाबोला पिर मिलि धन वेल वधंदी ॥
Har rām rām mere bābolā pir mil ḏẖan vel vaḏẖanḏī.
The Lord God pervades everywhere, O my father! On meeting with her Spouse, the bride spreads like creeper.

ਹਰਿ ਜੁਗਹ ਜੁਗੋ ਜੁਗ ਜੁਗਹ ਜੁਗੋ ਸਦ ਪੀੜੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਚਲੰਦੀ ॥
हरि जुगह जुगो जुग जुगह जुगो सद पीड़ी गुरू चलंदी ॥
Har jugah jugo jug jugah jugo saḏ pīṛī gurū cẖalanḏī.
The faith and sect of those united with God Guru, is forever set going throughout the two and two ages (four), rather all the ages.

ਜੁਗਿ ਜੁਗਿ ਪੀੜੀ ਚਲੈ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਕੀ ਜਿਨੀ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਇਆ ॥
जुगि जुगि पीड़ी चलै सतिगुर की जिनी गुरमुखि नामु धिआइआ ॥
Jug jug pīṛī cẖalai saṯgur kī jinī gurmukẖ nām ḏẖi▫ā▫i▫ā.
All the ages through shall run the True Guru's religious lineage which under Guru's instruction, remembers the Name.

ਹਰਿ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਨ ਕਬ ਹੀ ਬਿਨਸੈ ਜਾਵੈ ਨਿਤ ਦੇਵੈ ਚੜੈ ਸਵਾਇਆ ॥
हरि पुरखु न कब ही बिनसै जावै नित देवै चड़ै सवाइआ ॥
Har purakẖ na kab hī binsai jāvai niṯ ḏevai cẖaṛai savā▫i▫ā.
Almighty God never dies or goes. What He gives ever continues increasing.

ਨਾਨਕ ਸੰਤ ਸੰਤ ਹਰਿ ਏਕੋ ਜਪਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਸੋਹੰਦੀ ॥
नानक संत संत हरि एको जपि हरि हरि नामु सोहंदी ॥
Nānak sanṯ sanṯ har eko jap har har nām sohanḏī.
Nanak, the one Lord is the saint of saints. By repeating Lord God's Name the bride is adorned.

ਹਰਿ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਮ ਮੇਰੇ ਬਾਬੁਲਾ ਪਿਰ ਮਿਲਿ ਧਨ ਵੇਲ ਵਧੰਦੀ ॥੫॥੧॥
हरि राम राम मेरे बाबुला पिर मिलि धन वेल वधंदी ॥५॥१॥
Har rām rām mere babulā pir mil ḏẖan vel vaḏẖanḏī. ||5||1||
The Lord God pervades everywhere O my father! On meeting with her Spouse the bride extends like a creeper.

Sirīrāg mėhlā 5 cẖẖanṯ
Sri Rag, Fifth Guru.

ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥
ੴ सतिगुर प्रसादि ॥
Ik▫oaʼnkār saṯgur parsāḏ.
There is but one God. By the True Guru's favour He is obtained.

ਮਨ ਪਿਆਰਿਆ ਜੀਉ ਮਿਤ੍ਰਾ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਨਾਮੁ ਸਮਾਲੇ ॥
मन पिआरिआ जीउ मित्रा गोबिंद नामु समाले ॥
Man pi▫āri▫ā jī▫o miṯrā gobinḏ nām samāle.
O my dear friendly soul! do thou meditate on the Name of the World -Master.

ਮਨ ਪਿਆਰਿਆ ਜੀ ਮਿਤ੍ਰਾ ਹਰਿ ਨਿਬਹੈ ਤੇਰੈ ਨਾਲੇ ॥
मन पिआरिआ जी मित्रा हरि निबहै तेरै नाले ॥
Man pi▫āri▫ā jī miṯrā har nibhai ṯerai nāle.
O mind! my sweet friend, God shall stand by thee.

ਸੰਗਿ ਸਹਾਈ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਈ ਬਿਰਥਾ ਕੋਇ ਨ ਜਾਏ ॥
संगि सहाई हरि नामु धिआई बिरथा कोइ न जाए ॥
Sang sahā▫ī har nām ḏẖi▫ā▫ī birthā ko▫e na jā▫e.
Ponder over God's Name. He shall be an ever-present Helper of thine.(From God's door) none returns empty-handed.

ਮਨ ਚਿੰਦੇ ਸੇਈ ਫਲ ਪਾਵਹਿ ਚਰਣ ਕਮਲ ਚਿਤੁ ਲਾਏ ॥
मन चिंदे सेई फल पावहि चरण कमल चितु लाए ॥
Man cẖinḏe se▫ī fal pāvahi cẖaraṇ kamal cẖiṯ lā▫e.
Thou shalt obtain the fruits desired by thy heart by fixing thy mind on Lord's lotus feet.

ਜਲਿ ਥਲਿ ਪੂਰਿ ਰਹਿਆ ਬਨਵਾਰੀ ਘਟਿ ਘਟਿ ਨਦਰਿ ਨਿਹਾਲੇ ॥
जलि थलि पूरि रहिआ बनवारी घटि घटि नदरि निहाले ॥
Jal thal pūr rahi▫ā banvārī gẖat gẖat naḏar nihāle.
With thy sight behold in every heart the Lord of the world-forest, who is fully pervading the ocean and land.

ਨਾਨਕੁ ਸਿਖ ਦੇਇ ਮਨ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿ ਭ੍ਰਮੁ ਜਾਲੇ ॥੧॥
नानकु सिख देइ मन प्रीतम साधसंगि भ्रमु जाले ॥१॥
Nānak sikẖ ḏe▫e man parīṯam sāḏẖsang bẖaram jāle. ||1||
Nanak, gives thee a counsel, O my dear soul! burn thy scepticism in the society of saints.

ਮਨ ਪਿਆਰਿਆ ਜੀ ਮਿਤ੍ਰਾ ਹਰਿ ਬਿਨੁ ਝੂਠੁ ਪਸਾਰੇ ॥
मन पिआरिआ जी मित्रा हरि बिनु झूठु पसारे ॥
Man pi▫āri▫ā jī miṯrā har bin jẖūṯẖ pasāre.
O dear mind! my friend, without God all the ostentation is false.

ਮਨ ਪਿਆਰਿਆ ਜੀਉ ਮਿਤ੍ਰਾ ਬਿਖੁ ਸਾਗਰੁ ਸੰਸਾਰੇ ॥
मन पिआरिआ जीउ मित्रा बिखु सागरु संसारे ॥
Man pi▫āri▫ā jī▫o miṯrā bikẖ sāgar sansāre.
O dear mind! my friend, the world is an ocean of poison.

ਚਰਣ ਕਮਲ ਕਰਿ ਬੋਹਿਥੁ ਕਰਤੇ ਸਹਸਾ ਦੂਖੁ ਨ ਬਿਆਪੈ ॥
चरण कमल करि बोहिथु करते सहसा दूखु न बिआपै ॥
Cẖaraṇ kamal kar bohith karṯe sahsā ḏūkẖ na bi▫āpai.
Make the lotus feet of the Creator thy boat so that doubt and anguish may not overtake thee.

ਗੁਰੁ ਪੂਰਾ ਭੇਟੈ ਵਡਭਾਗੀ ਆਠ ਪਹਰ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਜਾਪੈ ॥
गुरु पूरा भेटै वडभागी आठ पहर प्रभु जापै ॥
Gur pūrā bẖetai vadbẖāgī āṯẖ pahar parabẖ jāpai.
Whom, through the greatest good luck, the Perfect Guru meets; he reflects over the Lord day in and day out.

ਆਦਿ ਜੁਗਾਦੀ ਸੇਵਕ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਭਗਤਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਅਧਾਰੇ ॥
आदि जुगादी सेवक सुआमी भगता नामु अधारे ॥
Āḏ jugāḏī sevak su▫āmī bẖagṯā nām aḏẖāre.
From the very beginning and throughout the ages God is the Master of His slaves. His Name is the prop of His saints.

ਨਾਨਕੁ ਸਿਖ ਦੇਇ ਮਨ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਬਿਨੁ ਹਰਿ ਝੂਠ ਪਸਾਰੇ ॥੨॥
नानकु सिख देइ मन प्रीतम बिनु हरि झूठ पसारे ॥२॥
Nānak sikẖ ḏe▫e man parīṯam bin har jẖūṯẖ pasāre. ||2||
Nanak, counsels thee, O my dear soul that without God all the show is false.

ਮਨ ਪਿਆਰਿਆ ਜੀਉ ਮਿਤ੍ਰਾ ਹਰਿ ਲਦੇ ਖੇਪ ਸਵਲੀ ॥
मन पिआरिआ जीउ मित्रा हरि लदे खेप सवली ॥
Man pi▫āri▫ā jī▫o miṯrā har laḏe kẖep savlī.
O my sweet friendly soul! do thou occupy the ever stable door of God.

Man pi▫āri▫ā jī▫o miṯrā har ḏar nihcẖal malī.
O my darling friendly soul! do thou occupy the ever stable door of God.

ਹਰਿ ਦਰੁ ਸੇਵੇ ਅਲਖ ਅਭੇਵੇ ਨਿਹਚਲੁ ਆਸਣੁ ਪਾਇਆ ॥
हरि दरु सेवे अलख अभेवे निहचलु आसणु पाइआ ॥
Har ḏar seve alakẖ abẖeve nihcẖal āsaṇ pā▫i▫ā.
He who serves at the door of the imperceptible and inscrutable God, obtains the permanent seat.

ਤਹ ਜਨਮ ਨ ਮਰਣੁ ਨ ਆਵਣ ਜਾਣਾ ਸੰਸਾ ਦੂਖੁ ਮਿਟਾਇਆ ॥
तह जनम न मरणु न आवण जाणा संसा दूखु मिटाइआ ॥
Ŧah janam na maraṇ na āvaṇ jāṇā sansā ḏūkẖ mitā▫i▫ā.
There is no birth and death there and not any coming and going and mortal's anxiety and anguish end as well.

ਚਿਤ੍ਰ ਗੁਪਤ ਕਾ ਕਾਗਦੁ ਫਾਰਿਆ ਜਮਦੂਤਾ ਕਛੂ ਨ ਚਲੀ ॥
चित्र गुपत का कागदु फारिआ जमदूता कछू न चली ॥
Cẖiṯar gupaṯ kā kāgaḏ fāri▫ā jamḏūṯā kacẖẖū na cẖalī.
The account-paper of the recording angels is torn up and death's couriers become helpless.

ਨਾਨਕੁ ਸਿਖ ਦੇਇ ਮਨ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਹਰਿ ਲਦੇ ਖੇਪ ਸਵਲੀ ॥੩॥
नानकु सिख देइ मन प्रीतम हरि लदे खेप सवली ॥३॥
Nānak sikẖ ḏe▫e man parīṯam har laḏe kẖep savlī. ||3||
Nanak, counsels the dear soul to load the cheap cargo of God's Name.

ਮਨ ਪਿਆਰਿਆ ਜੀਉ ਮਿਤ੍ਰਾ ਕਰਿ ਸੰਤਾ ਸੰਗਿ ਨਿਵਾਸੋ ॥
मन पिआरिआ जीउ मित्रा करि संता संगि निवासो ॥
Man pi▫āri▫ā jī▫o miṯrā kar sanṯā sang nivāso.
O my darling friendly soul! abide thou in the society of saints.

मन पिआरिआ जीउ मित्रा हरि नामु जपत परगासो ॥
Man pi▫āri▫ā jī▫o miṯrā har nām japaṯ pargāso.
O my darling friendly soul! By repeating God's name the Divine light shines.0

ਸਿਮਰਿ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਸੁਖਹ ਗਾਮੀ ਇਛ ਸਗਲੀ ਪੁੰਨੀਆ ॥
सिमरि सुआमी सुखह गामी इछ सगली पुंनीआ ॥
Simar su▫āmī sukẖah gāmī icẖẖ saglī punnī▫ā.
By remembering the Lord, of easy access, all the desires are fulfilled.
