ਅਠਸਠਿ ਤੀਰਥ ਪੁੰਨ ਪੂਜਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਸਾਚਾ ਭਾਇਆ
अठसठि तीरथ पुंन पूजा नामु साचा भाइआ ॥
Aṯẖsaṯẖ ṯirath punn pūjā nām sācẖā bẖā▫i▫ā.
the sixty-eight holy places of pilgrimage, charity and worship, are found in the love of the True Name.

ਆਪਿ ਸਾਜੇ ਥਾਪਿ ਵੇਖੈ ਤਿਸੈ ਭਾਣਾ ਭਾਇਆ
आपि साजे थापि वेखै तिसै भाणा भाइआ ॥
Āp sāje thāp vekẖai ṯisai bẖāṇā bẖā▫i▫ā.
He Himself creates, establishes and beholds all, by the Pleasure of His Will.

ਸਾਜਨ ਰਾਂਗਿ ਰੰਗੀਲੜੇ ਰੰਗੁ ਲਾਲੁ ਬਣਾਇਆ ॥੫॥
साजन रांगि रंगीलड़े रंगु लालु बणाइआ ॥५॥
Sājan rāʼng rangīlṛe rang lāl baṇā▫i▫ā. ||5||
My friends are happy in the Love of the Lord; they nurture love for their Beloved. ||5||

ਅੰਧਾ ਆਗੂ ਜੇ ਥੀਐ ਕਿਉ ਪਾਧਰੁ ਜਾਣੈ
अंधा आगू जे थीऐ किउ पाधरु जाणै ॥
Anḏẖā āgū je thī▫ai ki▫o pāḏẖar jāṇai.
If a blind man is made the leader, how will he know the way?

ਆਪਿ ਮੁਸੈ ਮਤਿ ਹੋਛੀਐ ਕਿਉ ਰਾਹੁ ਪਛਾਣੈ
आपि मुसै मति होछीऐ किउ राहु पछाणै ॥
Āp musai maṯ hocẖẖī▫ai ki▫o rāhu pacẖẖāṇai.
He is impaired, and his understanding is inadequate; how will he know the way?

ਕਿਉ ਰਾਹਿ ਜਾਵੈ ਮਹਲੁ ਪਾਵੈ ਅੰਧ ਕੀ ਮਤਿ ਅੰਧਲੀ
किउ राहि जावै महलु पावै अंध की मति अंधली ॥
Ki▫o rāhi jāvai mahal pāvai anḏẖ kī maṯ anḏẖlī.
How can he follow the path and reach the Mansion of the Lord's Presence? Blind is the understanding of the blind.

ਵਿਣੁ ਨਾਮ ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਕਛੁ ਸੂਝੈ ਅੰਧੁ ਬੂਡੌ ਧੰਧਲੀ
विणु नाम हरि के कछु न सूझै अंधु बूडौ धंधली ॥
viṇ nām har ke kacẖẖ na sūjẖai anḏẖ būdou ḏẖanḏẖlī.
Without the Lord's Name, they cannot see anything; the blind are drowned in worldly entanglements.

ਦਿਨੁ ਰਾਤਿ ਚਾਨਣੁ ਚਾਉ ਉਪਜੈ ਸਬਦੁ ਗੁਰ ਕਾ ਮਨਿ ਵਸੈ
दिनु राति चानणु चाउ उपजै सबदु गुर का मनि वसै ॥
Ḏin rāṯ cẖānaṇ cẖā▫o upjai sabaḏ gur kā man vasai.
Day and night, the Divine Light shines forth and joy wells up, when the Word of the Guru's Shabad abides in the mind.

ਕਰ ਜੋੜਿ ਗੁਰ ਪਹਿ ਕਰਿ ਬਿਨੰਤੀ ਰਾਹੁ ਪਾਧਰੁ ਗੁਰੁ ਦਸੈ ॥੬॥
कर जोड़ि गुर पहि करि बिनंती राहु पाधरु गुरु दसै ॥६॥
Kar joṛ gur pėh kar binanṯī rāhu pāḏẖar gur ḏasai. ||6||
With your palms pressed together, pray to the Guru to show you the way. ||6||

ਮਨੁ ਪਰਦੇਸੀ ਜੇ ਥੀਐ ਸਭੁ ਦੇਸੁ ਪਰਾਇਆ
मनु परदेसी जे थीऐ सभु देसु पराइआ ॥
Man parḏesī je thī▫ai sabẖ ḏes parā▫i▫ā.
If the man becomes a stranger to God, then all the world becomes a stranger to him.

ਕਿਸੁ ਪਹਿ ਖੋਲ੍ਹ੍ਹਉ ਗੰਠੜੀ ਦੂਖੀ ਭਰਿ ਆਇਆ
किसु पहि खोल्हउ गंठड़ी दूखी भरि आइआ ॥
Kis pėh kẖolĥa▫o ganṯẖ▫ṛī ḏūkẖī bẖar ā▫i▫ā.
Unto whom should I tie up and give the bundle of my pains?

ਦੂਖੀ ਭਰਿ ਆਇਆ ਜਗਤੁ ਸਬਾਇਆ ਕਉਣੁ ਜਾਣੈ ਬਿਧਿ ਮੇਰੀਆ
दूखी भरि आइआ जगतु सबाइआ कउणु जाणै बिधि मेरीआ ॥
Ḏūkẖī bẖar ā▫i▫ā jagaṯ sabā▫i▫ā ka▫uṇ jāṇai biḏẖ merī▫ā.
The whole world is overflowing with pain and suffering; who can know the state of my inner self?

ਆਵਣੇ ਜਾਵਣੇ ਖਰੇ ਡਰਾਵਣੇ ਤੋਟਿ ਆਵੈ ਫੇਰੀਆ
आवणे जावणे खरे डरावणे तोटि न आवै फेरीआ ॥
Āvṇe jāvṇe kẖare darāvaṇe ṯot na āvai ferī▫ā.
Comings and goings are terrible and dreadful; there is no end to the rounds of reincarnation.

ਨਾਮ ਵਿਹੂਣੇ ਊਣੇ ਝੂਣੇ ਨਾ ਗੁਰਿ ਸਬਦੁ ਸੁਣਾਇਆ
नाम विहूणे ऊणे झूणे ना गुरि सबदु सुणाइआ ॥
Nām vihūṇe ūṇe jẖūṇe nā gur sabaḏ suṇā▫i▫ā.
Without the Naam, he is vacant and sad; he does not listen to the Word of the Guru's Shabad.

ਮਨੁ ਪਰਦੇਸੀ ਜੇ ਥੀਐ ਸਭੁ ਦੇਸੁ ਪਰਾਇਆ ॥੭॥
मनु परदेसी जे थीऐ सभु देसु पराइआ ॥७॥
Man parḏesī je thī▫ai sabẖ ḏes parā▫i▫ā. ||7||
If the mind becomes a stranger to God, then all the world becomes a stranger to him. ||7||

ਗੁਰ ਮਹਲੀ ਘਰਿ ਆਪਣੈ ਸੋ ਭਰਪੁਰਿ ਲੀਣਾ
गुर महली घरि आपणै सो भरपुरि लीणा ॥
Gur mahlī gẖar āpṇai so bẖarpur līṇā.
One who finds the Guru's Mansion within the home of his own being, merges in the All-pervading Lord.

ਸੇਵਕੁ ਸੇਵਾ ਤਾਂ ਕਰੇ ਸਚ ਸਬਦਿ ਪਤੀਣਾ
सेवकु सेवा तां करे सच सबदि पतीणा ॥
Sevak sevā ṯāʼn kare sacẖ sabaḏ paṯīṇā.
The sevadar performs selfless service when he is pleased, and confirmed in the True Word of the Shabad.

ਸਬਦੇ ਪਤੀਜੈ ਅੰਕੁ ਭੀਜੈ ਸੁ ਮਹਲੁ ਮਹਲਾ ਅੰਤਰੇ
सबदे पतीजै अंकु भीजै सु महलु महला अंतरे ॥
Sabḏe paṯījai ank bẖījai so mahal mėhlā anṯre.
Confirmed in the Shabad, with her being softened by devotion, the bride dwells in the Mansion of the Lord's Presence, deep within her being.

ਆਪਿ ਕਰਤਾ ਕਰੇ ਸੋਈ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਆਪਿ ਅੰਤਿ ਨਿਰੰਤਰੇ
आपि करता करे सोई प्रभु आपि अंति निरंतरे ॥
Āp karṯā kare so▫ī parabẖ āp anṯ niranṯre.
The Creator Himself creates; God Himself, in the end, is endless.

ਗੁਰ ਸਬਦਿ ਮੇਲਾ ਤਾਂ ਸੁਹੇਲਾ ਬਾਜੰਤ ਅਨਹਦ ਬੀਣਾ
गुर सबदि मेला तां सुहेला बाजंत अनहद बीणा ॥
Gur sabaḏ melā ṯāʼn suhelā bājanṯ anhaḏ bīṇā.
Through the Word of the Guru's Shabad, the mortal is united, and then embellished; the unstruck melody of the sound current resounds.

ਗੁਰ ਮਹਲੀ ਘਰਿ ਆਪਣੈ ਸੋ ਭਰਿਪੁਰਿ ਲੀਣਾ ॥੮॥
गुर महली घरि आपणै सो भरिपुरि लीणा ॥८॥
Gur mahlī gẖar āpṇai so bẖaripur līṇā. ||8||
One who finds the Guru's Mansion within the home of his own being, merges in the All-pervading Lord. ||8||

ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿਆ ਸਾਲਾਹੀਐ ਕਰਿ ਵੇਖੈ ਸੋਈ
कीता किआ सालाहीऐ करि वेखै सोई ॥
Kīṯā ki▫ā salāhī▫ai kar vekẖai so▫ī.
Why praise that which is created? Praise instead the One who created it and watches over it.

ਤਾ ਕੀ ਕੀਮਤਿ ਨਾ ਪਵੈ ਜੇ ਲੋਚੈ ਕੋਈ
ता की कीमति न पवै जे लोचै कोई ॥
Ŧā kī kīmaṯ na pavai je locẖai ko▫ī.
His value cannot be estimated, no matter how much one may wish.

ਕੀਮਤਿ ਸੋ ਪਾਵੈ ਆਪਿ ਜਾਣਾਵੈ ਆਪਿ ਅਭੁਲੁ ਭੁਲਏ
कीमति सो पावै आपि जाणावै आपि अभुलु न भुलए ॥
Kīmaṯ so pāvai āp jāṇāvai āp abẖul na bẖul▫e.
He alone can estimate the Lord's value, whom the Lord Himself causes to know. He is not mistaken; He does not make mistakes.

ਜੈ ਜੈ ਕਾਰੁ ਕਰਹਿ ਤੁਧੁ ਭਾਵਹਿ ਗੁਰ ਕੈ ਸਬਦਿ ਅਮੁਲਏ
जै जै कारु करहि तुधु भावहि गुर कै सबदि अमुलए ॥
Jai jai kār karahi ṯuḏẖ bẖāvėh gur kai sabaḏ amula▫e.
He alone celebrates victory, who is pleasing to You, through the Invaluable Word of the Guru's Shabad.

ਹੀਣਉ ਨੀਚੁ ਕਰਉ ਬੇਨੰਤੀ ਸਾਚੁ ਛੋਡਉ ਭਾਈ
हीणउ नीचु करउ बेनंती साचु न छोडउ भाई ॥
Hīṇa▫o nīcẖ kara▫o benanṯī sācẖ na cẖẖoda▫o bẖā▫ī.
I am lowly and abject - I offer my prayer; may I never forsake the True Name, O Sibling of Destiny.

ਨਾਨਕ ਜਿਨਿ ਕਰਿ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਦੇਵੈ ਮਤਿ ਸਾਈ ॥੯॥੨॥੫॥
नानक जिनि करि देखिआ देवै मति साई ॥९॥२॥५॥
Nānak jin kar ḏekẖi▫ā ḏevai maṯ sā▫ī. ||9||2||5||
O Nanak, the One who created the creation, watches over it; He alone bestows understanding. ||9||2||5||

ਰਾਗੁ ਸੂਹੀ ਛੰਤ ਮਹਲਾ ਘਰੁ
रागु सूही छंत महला ३ घरु २
Rāg sūhī cẖẖanṯ mėhlā 3 gẖar 2
Raag Soohee, Chhant, Third Mehl, Second House:

ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ
ੴ सतिगुर प्रसादि ॥
Ik▫oaʼnkār saṯgur parsāḏ.
One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:

ਸੁਖ ਸੋਹਿਲੜਾ ਹਰਿ ਧਿਆਵਹੁ
सुख सोहिलड़ा हरि धिआवहु ॥
Sukẖ sohilṛā har ḏẖi▫āvahu.
Meditate on the Lord, and find peace and pleasure.

ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਹਰਿ ਫਲੁ ਪਾਵਹੁ
गुरमुखि हरि फलु पावहु ॥
Gurmukẖ har fal pāvhu.
As Gurmukh, obtain the Lord's fruitful rewards.

ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਫਲੁ ਪਾਵਹੁ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਵਹੁ ਜਨਮ ਜਨਮ ਕੇ ਦੂਖ ਨਿਵਾਰੇ
गुरमुखि फलु पावहु हरि नामु धिआवहु जनम जनम के दूख निवारे ॥
Gurmukẖ fal pāvhu har nām ḏẖi▫āvahu janam janam ke ḏūkẖ nivāre.
As Gurmukh, obtain the fruit of the Lord, and meditate on the Lord's Name; the pains of countless lifetimes shall be erased.

ਬਲਿਹਾਰੀ ਗੁਰ ਅਪਣੇ ਵਿਟਹੁ ਜਿਨਿ ਕਾਰਜ ਸਭਿ ਸਵਾਰੇ
बलिहारी गुर अपणे विटहु जिनि कारज सभि सवारे ॥
Balihārī gur apṇe vitahu jin kāraj sabẖ savāre.
I am a sacrifice to my Guru, who has arranged and resolved all my affairs.

ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕਰੇ ਹਰਿ ਜਾਪਹੁ ਸੁਖ ਫਲ ਹਰਿ ਜਨ ਪਾਵਹੁ
हरि प्रभु क्रिपा करे हरि जापहु सुख फल हरि जन पावहु ॥
Har parabẖ kirpā kare har jāpahu sukẖ fal har jan pāvhu.
The Lord God will bestow His Grace, if you meditate on the Lord; O humble servant of the Lord, you shall obtain the fruit of peace.

ਨਾਨਕੁ ਕਹੈ ਸੁਣਹੁ ਜਨ ਭਾਈ ਸੁਖ ਸੋਹਿਲੜਾ ਹਰਿ ਧਿਆਵਹੁ ॥੧॥
नानकु कहै सुणहु जन भाई सुख सोहिलड़ा हरि धिआवहु ॥१॥
Nānak kahai suṇhu jan bẖā▫ī sukẖ sohilṛā har ḏẖi▫āvahu. ||1||
Says Nanak, listen O humble Sibling of Destiny: meditate on the Lord, and find peace and pleasure. ||1||

ਸੁਣਿ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਭੀਨੇ ਸਹਜਿ ਸੁਭਾਏ
सुणि हरि गुण भीने सहजि सुभाए ॥
Suṇ har guṇ bẖīne sahj subẖā▫e.
Hearing the Glorious Praises of the Lord, I am intuitively drenched with His Love.

ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਸਹਜੇ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਏ
गुरमति सहजे नामु धिआए ॥
Gurmaṯ sėhje nām ḏẖi▫ā▫e.
Under Guru's Instruction, I meditate intuitively on the Naam.

ਜਿਨ ਕਉ ਧੁਰਿ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਤਿਨ ਗੁਰੁ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਤਿਨ ਜਨਮ ਮਰਣ ਭਉ ਭਾਗਾ
जिन कउ धुरि लिखिआ तिन गुरु मिलिआ तिन जनम मरण भउ भागा ॥
Jin ka▫o ḏẖur likẖi▫ā ṯin gur mili▫ā ṯin janam maraṇ bẖa▫o bẖāgā.
Those who have such pre-ordained destiny, meet the Guru, and their fears of birth and death leave them.
