ਸਭੇ ਇਛਾ ਪੂਰੀਆ ਜਾ ਪਾਇਆ ਅਗਮ ਅਪਾਰਾ
सभे इछा पूरीआ जा पाइआ अगम अपारा ॥
Sabẖe icẖẖā pūrī▫ā jā pā▫i▫ā agam apārā.
All desires are fulfilled, when the Inaccessible and Infinite Lord is obtained.

ਗੁਰੁ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਤੇਰਿਆ ਚਰਣਾ ਕਉ ਬਲਿਹਾਰਾ ॥੪॥੧॥੪੭॥
गुरु नानकु मिलिआ पारब्रहमु तेरिआ चरणा कउ बलिहारा ॥४॥१॥४७॥
Gur Nānak mili▫ā pārbarahm ṯeri▫ā cẖarṇā ka▫o balihārā. ||4||1||47||
Guru Nanak has met the Supreme Lord God; I am a sacrifice to Your Feet. ||4||1||47||

Rāg sūhī mėhlā 5 gẖar 7
Raag Soohee, Fifth Mehl, Seventh House:

ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ
ੴ सतिगुर प्रसादि ॥
Ik▫oaʼnkār saṯgur parsāḏ.
One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:

ਤੇਰਾ ਭਾਣਾ ਤੂਹੈ ਮਨਾਇਹਿ ਜਿਸ ਨੋ ਹੋਹਿ ਦਇਆਲਾ
तेरा भाणा तूहै मनाइहि जिस नो होहि दइआला ॥
Ŧerā bẖāṇā ṯūhai manā▫ihi jis no hohi ḏa▫i▫ālā.
He alone obeys Your Will, O Lord, unto whom You are Merciful.

ਸਾਈ ਭਗਤਿ ਜੋ ਤੁਧੁ ਭਾਵੈ ਤੂੰ ਸਰਬ ਜੀਆ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਾਲਾ ॥੧॥
साई भगति जो तुधु भावै तूं सरब जीआ प्रतिपाला ॥१॥
Sā▫ī bẖagaṯ jo ṯuḏẖ bẖāvai ṯūʼn sarab jī▫ā parṯipālā. ||1||
That alone is devotional worship, which is pleasing to Your Will. You are the Cherisher of all beings. ||1||

ਮੇਰੇ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਇ ਸੰਤਾ ਟੇਕ ਤੁਮ੍ਹ੍ਹਾਰੀ
मेरे राम राइ संता टेक तुम्हारी ॥
Mere rām rā▫e sanṯā tek ṯumĥārī.
O my Sovereign Lord, You are the Support of the Saints.

ਜੋ ਤੁਧੁ ਭਾਵੈ ਸੋ ਪਰਵਾਣੁ ਮਨਿ ਤਨਿ ਤੂਹੈ ਅਧਾਰੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ
जो तुधु भावै सो परवाणु मनि तनि तूहै अधारी ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Jo ṯuḏẖ bẖāvai so parvāṇ man ṯan ṯūhai aḏẖārī. ||1|| rahā▫o.
Whatever pleases You, they accept. You are the sustenance of their minds and bodies. ||1||Pause||

ਤੂੰ ਦਇਆਲੁ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਲੁ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਨਿਧਿ ਮਨਸਾ ਪੂਰਣਹਾਰਾ
तूं दइआलु क्रिपालु क्रिपा निधि मनसा पूरणहारा ॥
Ŧūʼn ḏa▫i▫āl kirpāl kirpā niḏẖ mansā pūraṇhārā.
You are kind and compassionate, the treasure of mercy, the fulfiller of our hopes.

ਭਗਤ ਤੇਰੇ ਸਭਿ ਪ੍ਰਾਣਪਤਿ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਤੂੰ ਭਗਤਨ ਕਾ ਪਿਆਰਾ ॥੨॥
भगत तेरे सभि प्राणपति प्रीतम तूं भगतन का पिआरा ॥२॥
Bẖagaṯ ṯere sabẖ farāṇpaṯ parīṯam ṯūʼn bẖagṯan kā pi▫ārā. ||2||
You are the Beloved Lord of life of all Your devotees; You are the Beloved of Your devotees. ||2||

ਤੂ ਅਥਾਹੁ ਅਪਾਰੁ ਅਤਿ ਊਚਾ ਕੋਈ ਅਵਰੁ ਤੇਰੀ ਭਾਤੇ
तू अथाहु अपारु अति ऊचा कोई अवरु न तेरी भाते ॥
Ŧū athāhu apār aṯ ūcẖā ko▫ī avar na ṯerī bẖāṯe.
You are unfathomable, infinite, lofty and exalted. There is no one else like You.

ਇਹ ਅਰਦਾਸਿ ਹਮਾਰੀ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਵਿਸਰੁ ਨਾਹੀ ਸੁਖਦਾਤੇ ॥੩॥
इह अरदासि हमारी सुआमी विसरु नाही सुखदाते ॥३॥
Ih arḏās hamārī su▫āmī visar nāhī sukẖ▫ḏāṯe. ||3||
This is my prayer, O my Lord and Master; may I never forget You, O Peace-giving Lord. ||3||

ਦਿਨੁ ਰੈਣਿ ਸਾਸਿ ਸਾਸਿ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵਾ ਜੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਤੁਧੁ ਭਾਵਾ
दिनु रैणि सासि सासि गुण गावा जे सुआमी तुधु भावा ॥
Ḏin raiṇ sās sās guṇ gāvā je su▫āmī ṯuḏẖ bẖāvā.
Day and night, with each and every breath, I sing Your Glorious Praises, if it is pleasing to Your Will.

ਨਾਮੁ ਤੇਰਾ ਸੁਖੁ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਮਾਗੈ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਤੁਠੈ ਪਾਵਾ ॥੪॥੧॥੪੮॥
नामु तेरा सुखु नानकु मागै साहिब तुठै पावा ॥४॥१॥४८॥
Nām ṯerā sukẖ Nānak māgai sāhib ṯuṯẖai pāvā. ||4||1||48||
Nanak begs for the peace of Your Name, O Lord and Master; as it is pleasing to Your Will, I shall attain it. ||4||1||48||

ਸੂਹੀ ਮਹਲਾ
सूही महला ५ ॥
Sūhī mėhlā 5.
Soohee, Fifth Mehl:

ਵਿਸਰਹਿ ਨਾਹੀ ਜਿਤੁ ਤੂ ਕਬਹੂ ਸੋ ਥਾਨੁ ਤੇਰਾ ਕੇਹਾ
विसरहि नाही जितु तू कबहू सो थानु तेरा केहा ॥
visrahi nāhī jiṯ ṯū kabhū so thān ṯerā kehā.
Where is that place, where You are never forgotten, Lord?

ਆਠ ਪਹਰ ਜਿਤੁ ਤੁਧੁ ਧਿਆਈ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਹੋਵੈ ਦੇਹਾ ॥੧॥
आठ पहर जितु तुधु धिआई निरमल होवै देहा ॥१॥
Āṯẖ pahar jiṯ ṯuḏẖ ḏẖi▫ā▫ī nirmal hovai ḏehā. ||1||
Twenty-four hours a day, they meditate on You, and their bodies become spotless and pure. ||1||

ਮੇਰੇ ਰਾਮ ਹਉ ਸੋ ਥਾਨੁ ਭਾਲਣ ਆਇਆ
मेरे राम हउ सो थानु भालण आइआ ॥
Mere rām ha▫o so thān bẖālaṇ ā▫i▫ā.
O my Lord, I have come searching for that place.

ਖੋਜਤ ਖੋਜਤ ਭਇਆ ਸਾਧਸੰਗੁ ਤਿਨ੍ਹ੍ਹ ਸਰਣਾਈ ਪਾਇਆ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ
खोजत खोजत भइआ साधसंगु तिन्ह सरणाई पाइआ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Kẖojaṯ kẖojaṯ bẖa▫i▫ā sāḏẖsang ṯinĥ sarṇā▫ī pā▫i▫ā. ||1|| rahā▫o.
After seeking and searching, I found Sanctuary in the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy. ||1||Pause||

ਬੇਦ ਪੜੇ ਪੜਿ ਬ੍ਰਹਮੇ ਹਾਰੇ ਇਕੁ ਤਿਲੁ ਨਹੀ ਕੀਮਤਿ ਪਾਈ
बेद पड़े पड़ि ब्रहमे हारे इकु तिलु नही कीमति पाई ॥
Beḏ paṛe paṛ barahme hāre ik ṯil nahī kīmaṯ pā▫ī.
Reading and reciting the Vedas, Brahma grew weary, but he did not find even a tiny bit of God's worth.

ਸਾਧਿਕ ਸਿਧ ਫਿਰਹਿ ਬਿਲਲਾਤੇ ਤੇ ਭੀ ਮੋਹੇ ਮਾਈ ॥੨॥
साधिक सिध फिरहि बिललाते ते भी मोहे माई ॥२॥
Sāḏẖik siḏẖ firėh billāṯe ṯe bẖī mohe mā▫ī. ||2||
The seekers and Siddhas wander around bewailing; they too are enticed by Maya. ||2||

ਦਸ ਅਉਤਾਰ ਰਾਜੇ ਹੋਇ ਵਰਤੇ ਮਹਾਦੇਵ ਅਉਧੂਤਾ
दस अउतार राजे होइ वरते महादेव अउधूता ॥
Ḏas a▫uṯār rāje ho▫e varṯe mahāḏev a▫uḏẖūṯā.
There were ten regal incarnations of Vishnu; and then there was Shiva, the renunciate.

ਤਿਨ੍ਹ੍ਹ ਭੀ ਅੰਤੁ ਪਾਇਓ ਤੇਰਾ ਲਾਇ ਥਕੇ ਬਿਭੂਤਾ ॥੩॥
तिन्ह भी अंतु न पाइओ तेरा लाइ थके बिभूता ॥३॥
Ŧinĥ bẖī anṯ na pā▫i▫o ṯerā lā▫e thake bibẖūṯā. ||3||
He did not find Your limits either, although he grew weary of smearing his body with ashes. ||3||

ਸਹਜ ਸੂਖ ਆਨੰਦ ਨਾਮ ਰਸ ਹਰਿ ਸੰਤੀ ਮੰਗਲੁ ਗਾਇਆ
सहज सूख आनंद नाम रस हरि संती मंगलु गाइआ ॥
Sahj sūkẖ ānanḏ nām ras har sanṯī mangal gā▫i▫ā.
Peace, poise and bliss are found in the subtle essence of the Naam. The Lord's Saints sing the songs of joy.

ਸਫਲ ਦਰਸਨੁ ਭੇਟਿਓ ਗੁਰ ਨਾਨਕ ਤਾ ਮਨਿ ਤਨਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਧਿਆਇਆ ॥੪॥੨॥੪੯॥
सफल दरसनु भेटिओ गुर नानक ता मनि तनि हरि हरि धिआइआ ॥४॥२॥४९॥
Safal ḏarsan bẖeti▫o gur Nānak ṯā man ṯan har har ḏẖi▫ā▫i▫ā. ||4||2||49||
I have obtained the Fruitful Vision of Guru Nanak's Darshan, and with my mind and body I meditate on the Lord, Har, Har. ||4||2||49||

ਸੂਹੀ ਮਹਲਾ
सूही महला ५ ॥
Sūhī mėhlā 5.
Soohee, Fifth Mehl:

ਕਰਮ ਧਰਮ ਪਾਖੰਡ ਜੋ ਦੀਸਹਿ ਤਿਨ ਜਮੁ ਜਾਗਾਤੀ ਲੂਟੈ
करम धरम पाखंड जो दीसहि तिन जमु जागाती लूटै ॥
Karam ḏẖaram pakẖand jo ḏīsėh ṯin jam jāgāṯī lūtai.
The religious rites, rituals and hypocrisies which are seen, are plundered by the Messenger of Death, the ultimate tax collector.

ਨਿਰਬਾਣ ਕੀਰਤਨੁ ਗਾਵਹੁ ਕਰਤੇ ਕਾ ਨਿਮਖ ਸਿਮਰਤ ਜਿਤੁ ਛੂਟੈ ॥੧॥
निरबाण कीरतनु गावहु करते का निमख सिमरत जितु छूटै ॥१॥
Nirbāṇ kīrṯan gāvhu karṯe kā nimakẖ simraṯ jiṯ cẖẖūtai. ||1||
In the state of Nirvaanaa, sing the Kirtan of the Creator's Praises; contemplating Him in meditation, even for an instant, one is saved. ||1||

ਸੰਤਹੁ ਸਾਗਰੁ ਪਾਰਿ ਉਤਰੀਐ
संतहु सागरु पारि उतरीऐ ॥
Sanṯahu sāgar pār uṯrī▫ai.
O Saints, cross over the world-ocean.

ਜੇ ਕੋ ਬਚਨੁ ਕਮਾਵੈ ਸੰਤਨ ਕਾ ਸੋ ਗੁਰ ਪਰਸਾਦੀ ਤਰੀਐ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ
जे को बचनु कमावै संतन का सो गुर परसादी तरीऐ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Je ko bacẖan kamāvai sanṯan kā so gur parsādī ṯarī▫ai. ||1|| rahā▫o.
One who practices the Teachings of the Saints, by Guru's Grace, is carried across. ||1||Pause||

ਕੋਟਿ ਤੀਰਥ ਮਜਨ ਇਸਨਾਨਾ ਇਸੁ ਕਲਿ ਮਹਿ ਮੈਲੁ ਭਰੀਜੈ
कोटि तीरथ मजन इसनाना इसु कलि महि मैलु भरीजै ॥
Kot ṯirath majan isnānā is kal mėh mail bẖarījai.
Millions of cleansing baths at sacred shrines of pilgrimage only fill the mortal with filth in this Dark Age of Kali Yuga.

ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿ ਜੋ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵੈ ਸੋ ਨਿਰਮਲੁ ਕਰਿ ਲੀਜੈ ॥੨॥
साधसंगि जो हरि गुण गावै सो निरमलु करि लीजै ॥२॥
Sāḏẖsang jo har guṇ gāvai so nirmal kar lījai. ||2||
One who sings the Glorious Praises of the Lord in the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, becomes spotlessly pure. ||2||

ਬੇਦ ਕਤੇਬ ਸਿਮ੍ਰਿਤਿ ਸਭਿ ਸਾਸਤ ਇਨ੍ਹ੍ਹ ਪੜਿਆ ਮੁਕਤਿ ਹੋਈ
बेद कतेब सिम्रिति सभि सासत इन्ह पड़िआ मुकति न होई ॥
Beḏ kaṯeb simriṯ sabẖ sāsaṯ inĥ paṛi▫ā mukaṯ na ho▫ī.
One may read all the books of the Vedas, the Bible, the Simritees and the Shaastras, but they will not bring liberation.

ਏਕੁ ਅਖਰੁ ਜੋ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਜਾਪੈ ਤਿਸ ਕੀ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਸੋਈ ॥੩॥
एकु अखरु जो गुरमुखि जापै तिस की निरमल सोई ॥३॥
Ėk akẖar jo gurmukẖ jāpai ṯis kī nirmal so▫ī. ||3||
One who, as Gurmukh, chants the One Word, acquires a spotlessly pure reputation. ||3||

ਖਤ੍ਰੀ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ ਸੂਦ ਵੈਸ ਉਪਦੇਸੁ ਚਹੁ ਵਰਨਾ ਕਉ ਸਾਝਾ
खत्री ब्राहमण सूद वैस उपदेसु चहु वरना कउ साझा ॥
Kẖaṯrī barāhmaṇ sūḏ vais upḏes cẖahu varnā ka▫o sājẖā.
The four castes - the Kshatriyas, Brahmins, Soodras and Vaisyas - are equal in respect to the teachings.
