ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਹਰਿ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮਿ ਕਰਿ ਰੰਙੁ
मेरे मन हरि राम नामि करि रंङु ॥
Mere man har rām nām kar rań.
O my mind, enshrine love for the Name of the Lord.

ਗੁਰਿ ਤੁਠੈ ਹਰਿ ਉਪਦੇਸਿਆ ਹਰਿ ਭੇਟਿਆ ਰਾਉ ਨਿਸੰਙੁ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ
गुरि तुठै हरि उपदेसिआ हरि भेटिआ राउ निसंङु ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Gur ṯuṯẖai har upḏesi▫ā har bẖeti▫ā rā▫o nisań. ||1|| rahā▫o.
The Guru, satisfied and pleased, taught me about the Lord, and my Sovereign Lord King met with me at once. ||1||Pause||

ਮੁੰਧ ਇਆਣੀ ਮਨਮੁਖੀ ਫਿਰਿ ਆਵਣ ਜਾਣਾ ਅੰਙੁ
मुंध इआणी मनमुखी फिरि आवण जाणा अंङु ॥
Munḏẖ i▫āṇī manmukẖī fir āvaṇ jāṇā ań.
The self-willed manmukh is like the ignorant bride, who comes and goes again and again in reincarnation.

ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਚਿਤਿ ਆਇਓ ਮਨਿ ਦੂਜਾ ਭਾਉ ਸਹਲੰਙੁ ॥੨॥
हरि प्रभु चिति न आइओ मनि दूजा भाउ सहलंङु ॥२॥
Har parabẖ cẖiṯ na ā▫i▫o man ḏūjā bẖā▫o sahlanń. ||2||
The Lord God does not come into her consciousness, and her mind is stuck in the love of duality. ||2||

ਹਮ ਮੈਲੁ ਭਰੇ ਦੁਹਚਾਰੀਆ ਹਰਿ ਰਾਖਹੁ ਅੰਗੀ ਅੰਙੁ
हम मैलु भरे दुहचारीआ हरि राखहु अंगी अंङु ॥
Ham mail bẖare ḏuhcẖārī▫ā har rākẖo angī ań.
I am full of filth, and I practice evil deeds; O Lord, save me, be with me, merge me into Your Being!

ਗੁਰਿ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਸਰਿ ਨਵਲਾਇਆ ਸਭਿ ਲਾਥੇ ਕਿਲਵਿਖ ਪੰਙੁ ॥੩॥
गुरि अम्रित सरि नवलाइआ सभि लाथे किलविख पंङु ॥३॥
Gur amriṯ sar navlā▫i▫ā sabẖ lāthe kilvikẖ pań. ||3||
The Guru has bathed me in the pool of Ambrosial Nectar, and all my dirty sins and mistakes have been washed away. ||3||

ਹਰਿ ਦੀਨਾ ਦੀਨ ਦਇਆਲ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਸਤਸੰਗਤਿ ਮੇਲਹੁ ਸੰਙੁ
हरि दीना दीन दइआल प्रभु सतसंगति मेलहु संङु ॥
Har ḏīnā ḏīn ḏa▫i▫āl parabẖ saṯsangaṯ melhu sań.
O Lord God, Merciful to the meek and the poor, please unite me with the Sat Sangat, the True Congregation.

ਮਿਲਿ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਹਰਿ ਰੰਗੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਮਨਿ ਤਨਿ ਰੰਙੁ ॥੪॥੩॥
मिलि संगति हरि रंगु पाइआ जन नानक मनि तनि रंङु ॥४॥३॥
Mil sangaṯ har rang pā▫i▫ā jan Nānak man ṯan rań. ||4||3||
Joining the Sangat, servant Nanak has obtained the Lord's Love; my mind and body are drenched in it. ||4||3||

ਸੂਹੀ ਮਹਲਾ
सूही महला ४ ॥
Sūhī mėhlā 4.
Soohee, Fourth Mehl:

ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਕਰਹਿ ਨਿਤ ਕਪਟੁ ਕਮਾਵਹਿ ਹਿਰਦਾ ਸੁਧੁ ਹੋਈ
हरि हरि करहि नित कपटु कमावहि हिरदा सुधु न होई ॥
Har har karahi niṯ kapat kamāvėh hirḏā suḏẖ na ho▫ī.
One who chants the Name of the Lord, Har, Har, while constantly practicing deception, shall never become pure of heart.

ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਕਰਮ ਕਰਹਿ ਬਹੁਤੇਰੇ ਸੁਪਨੈ ਸੁਖੁ ਹੋਈ ॥੧॥
अनदिनु करम करहि बहुतेरे सुपनै सुखु न होई ॥१॥
An▫ḏin karam karahi bahuṯere supnai sukẖ na ho▫ī. ||1||
He may perform all sorts of rituals, night and day, but he shall not find peace, even in dreams. ||1||

ਗਿਆਨੀ ਗੁਰ ਬਿਨੁ ਭਗਤਿ ਹੋਈ
गिआनी गुर बिनु भगति न होई ॥
Gi▫ānī gur bin bẖagaṯ na ho▫ī.
O wise ones, without the Guru, there is no devotional worship.

ਕੋਰੈ ਰੰਗੁ ਕਦੇ ਚੜੈ ਜੇ ਲੋਚੈ ਸਭੁ ਕੋਈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ
कोरै रंगु कदे न चड़ै जे लोचै सभु कोई ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Korai rang kaḏe na cẖaṛai je locẖai sabẖ ko▫ī. ||1|| rahā▫o.
The untreated cloth does not take up the dye, no matter how much everyone may wish it. ||1||Pause||

ਜਪੁ ਤਪ ਸੰਜਮ ਵਰਤ ਕਰੇ ਪੂਜਾ ਮਨਮੁਖ ਰੋਗੁ ਜਾਈ
जपु तप संजम वरत करे पूजा मनमुख रोगु न जाई ॥
Jap ṯap sanjam varaṯ kare pūjā manmukẖ rog na jā▫ī.
The self-willed manmukh may perform chants, meditations, austere self-discipline, fasts and devotional worship, but his sickness does not go away.

ਅੰਤਰਿ ਰੋਗੁ ਮਹਾ ਅਭਿਮਾਨਾ ਦੂਜੈ ਭਾਇ ਖੁਆਈ ॥੨॥
अंतरि रोगु महा अभिमाना दूजै भाइ खुआई ॥२॥
Anṯar rog mahā abẖimānā ḏūjai bẖā▫e kẖu▫ā▫ī. ||2||
Deep within him is the sickness of excessive egotism; in the love of duality he is ruined. ||2||

ਬਾਹਰਿ ਭੇਖ ਬਹੁਤੁ ਚਤੁਰਾਈ ਮਨੂਆ ਦਹ ਦਿਸਿ ਧਾਵੈ
बाहरि भेख बहुतु चतुराई मनूआ दह दिसि धावै ॥
Bāhar bẖekẖ bahuṯ cẖaṯurā▫ī manū▫ā ḏah ḏis ḏẖāvai.
Outwardly, he wears religious robes and he is very clever, but his mind wanders in the ten directions.

ਹਉਮੈ ਬਿਆਪਿਆ ਸਬਦੁ ਚੀਨ੍ਹ੍ਹੈ ਫਿਰਿ ਫਿਰਿ ਜੂਨੀ ਆਵੈ ॥੩॥
हउमै बिआपिआ सबदु न चीन्है फिरि फिरि जूनी आवै ॥३॥
Ha▫umai bi▫āpi▫ā sabaḏ na cẖīnĥai fir fir jūnī āvai. ||3||
Engrossed in ego, he does not remember the Word of the Shabad; over and over again, he is reincarnated. ||3||

ਨਾਨਕ ਨਦਰਿ ਕਰੇ ਸੋ ਬੂਝੈ ਸੋ ਜਨੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਏ
नानक नदरि करे सो बूझै सो जनु नामु धिआए ॥
Nānak naḏar kare so būjẖai so jan nām ḏẖi▫ā▫e.
O Nanak, that mortal who is blessed with the Lord's Glance of Grace, understands Him; that humble servant meditates on the Naam, the Name of the Lord.

ਗੁਰ ਪਰਸਾਦੀ ਏਕੋ ਬੂਝੈ ਏਕਸੁ ਮਾਹਿ ਸਮਾਏ ॥੪॥੪॥
गुर परसादी एको बूझै एकसु माहि समाए ॥४॥४॥
Gur parsādī eko būjẖai ekas māhi samā▫e. ||4||4||
By Guru's Grace, he understands the One Lord, and is absorbed into the One Lord. ||4||4||

ਸੂਹੀ ਮਹਲਾ ਘਰੁ
सूही महला ४ घरु २
Sūhī mėhlā 4 gẖar 2
Soohee, Fourth Mehl, Second House:

ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ
ੴ सतिगुर प्रसादि ॥
Ik▫oaʼnkār saṯgur parsāḏ.
One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:

ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਨਗਰੀ ਖੋਜਿ ਖੋਜਾਈ
गुरमति नगरी खोजि खोजाई ॥
Gurmaṯ nagrī kẖoj kẖojā▫ī.
Following the Guru's Teachings, I searched and searched the body-village;

ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਪਦਾਰਥੁ ਪਾਈ ॥੧॥
हरि हरि नामु पदारथु पाई ॥१॥
Har har nām paḏārath pā▫ī. ||1||
I found the wealth of the Name of the Lord, Har, Har. ||1||

ਮੇਰੈ ਮਨਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਸਾਂਤਿ ਵਸਾਈ
मेरै मनि हरि हरि सांति वसाई ॥
Merai man har har sāʼnṯ vasā▫ī.
The Lord, Har, Har, has enshrined peace within my mind.

ਤਿਸਨਾ ਅਗਨਿ ਬੁਝੀ ਖਿਨ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਗੁਰਿ ਮਿਲਿਐ ਸਭ ਭੁਖ ਗਵਾਈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ
तिसना अगनि बुझी खिन अंतरि गुरि मिलिऐ सभ भुख गवाई ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Ŧisnā agan bujẖī kẖin anṯar gur mili▫ai sabẖ bẖukẖ gavā▫ī. ||1|| rahā▫o.
The fire of desire was extinguished in an instant, when I met the Guru; all my hunger has been satisfied. ||1||Pause||

ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵਾ ਜੀਵਾ ਮੇਰੀ ਮਾਈ
हरि गुण गावा जीवा मेरी माई ॥
Har guṇ gāvā jīvā merī mā▫ī.
Singing the Glorious Praises of the Lord, I live, O my mother.

ਸਤਿਗੁਰਿ ਦਇਆਲਿ ਗੁਣ ਨਾਮੁ ਦ੍ਰਿੜਾਈ ॥੨॥
सतिगुरि दइआलि गुण नामु द्रिड़ाई ॥२॥
Saṯgur ḏa▫i▫āl guṇ nām ḏariṛā▫ī. ||2||
The Merciful True Guru implanted the Glorious Praises of the Naam within me. ||2||

ਹਉ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਢੂਢਿ ਢੂਢਾਈ
हउ हरि प्रभु पिआरा ढूढि ढूढाई ॥
Ha▫o har parabẖ pi▫ārā dẖūdẖ dẖūdẖā▫ī.
I search for and seek out my Beloved Lord God, Har, Har.

ਸਤਸੰਗਤਿ ਮਿਲਿ ਹਰਿ ਰਸੁ ਪਾਈ ॥੩॥
सतसंगति मिलि हरि रसु पाई ॥३॥
Saṯsangaṯ mil har ras pā▫ī. ||3||
Joining the Sat Sangat, the True Congregation, I have obtained the subtle essence of the Lord. ||3||

ਧੁਰਿ ਮਸਤਕਿ ਲੇਖ ਲਿਖੇ ਹਰਿ ਪਾਈ
धुरि मसतकि लेख लिखे हरि पाई ॥
Ḏẖur masṯak lekẖ likẖe har pā▫ī.
By the pre-ordained destiny inscribed upon my forehead, I have found the Lord.

ਗੁਰੁ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਤੁਠਾ ਮੇਲੈ ਹਰਿ ਭਾਈ ॥੪॥੧॥੫॥
गुरु नानकु तुठा मेलै हरि भाई ॥४॥१॥५॥
Gur Nānak ṯuṯẖā melai har bẖā▫ī. ||4||1||5||
Guru Nanak, pleased and satisfied, has united me with the Lord, O Siblings of Destiny. ||4||1||5||

ਸੂਹੀ ਮਹਲਾ
सूही महला ४ ॥
Sūhī mėhlā 4.
Soohee, Fourth Mehl:

ਹਰਿ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕਰੇ ਮਨਿ ਹਰਿ ਰੰਗੁ ਲਾਏ
हरि क्रिपा करे मनि हरि रंगु लाए ॥
Har kirpā kare man har rang lā▫e.
Showering His Mercy, the Lord imbues the mind with His Love.

ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮਿ ਸਮਾਏ ॥੧॥
गुरमुखि हरि हरि नामि समाए ॥१॥
Gurmukẖ har har nām samā▫e. ||1||
The Gurmukh merges in the Name of the Lord, Har, Har. ||1||

ਹਰਿ ਰੰਗਿ ਰਾਤਾ ਮਨੁ ਰੰਗ ਮਾਣੇ
हरि रंगि राता मनु रंग माणे ॥
Har rang rāṯā man rang māṇe.
Imbued with the Lord's Love, the mortal enjoys the pleasure of His Love.

ਸਦਾ ਅਨੰਦਿ ਰਹੈ ਦਿਨ ਰਾਤੀ ਪੂਰੇ ਗੁਰ ਕੈ ਸਬਦਿ ਸਮਾਣੇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ
सदा अनंदि रहै दिन राती पूरे गुर कै सबदि समाणे ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Saḏā anand rahai ḏin rāṯī pūre gur kai sabaḏ samāṇe. ||1|| rahā▫o.
He remains always blissful, day and night, and he merges into the Shabad, the Word of the Perfect Guru. ||1||Pause||

ਹਰਿ ਰੰਗ ਕਉ ਲੋਚੈ ਸਭੁ ਕੋਈ
हरि रंग कउ लोचै सभु कोई ॥
Har rang ka▫o locẖai sabẖ ko▫ī.
Everyone longs for the Lord's Love;

ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਰੰਗੁ ਚਲੂਲਾ ਹੋਈ ॥੨॥
गुरमुखि रंगु चलूला होई ॥२॥
Gurmukẖ rang cẖalūlā ho▫ī. ||2||
the Gurmukh is imbued with the deep red color of His Love. ||2||

ਮਨਮੁਖਿ ਮੁਗਧੁ ਨਰੁ ਕੋਰਾ ਹੋਇ
मनमुखि मुगधु नरु कोरा होइ ॥
Manmukẖ mugaḏẖ nar korā ho▫e.
The foolish, self-willed manmukh is left pale and uncolored.
