ਜੋ ਗੁਰਸਿਖ ਗੁਰੁ ਸੇਵਦੇ ਸੇ ਪੁੰਨ ਪਰਾਣੀ ॥
जो गुरसिख गुरु सेवदे से पुंन पराणी ॥
Jo gursikẖ gur sevḏe se punn parāṇī.
The Guru's disciples, who serve the Guru, are the blessed beings.

ਜਨੁ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਤਿਨ ਕਉ ਵਾਰਿਆ ਸਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਕੁਰਬਾਣੀ ॥੧੦॥
जनु नानकु तिन कउ वारिआ सदा सदा कुरबाणी ॥१०॥
Jan Nānak ṯin ka▫o vāri▫ā saḏā saḏā kurbāṇī. ||10||
Slave Nanak is a sacrifice unto them Unto them, he is ever, ever devoted.

ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਸਖੀ ਸਹੇਲੀਆ ਸੇ ਆਪਿ ਹਰਿ ਭਾਈਆ ॥
गुरमुखि सखी सहेलीआ से आपि हरि भाईआ ॥
Gurmukẖ sakẖī sahelī▫ā se āp har bẖā▫ī▫ā.
The Guru-ward mates and companions, they are pleasing to God Himself.

ਹਰਿ ਦਰਗਹ ਪੈਨਾਈਆ ਹਰਿ ਆਪਿ ਗਲਿ ਲਾਈਆ ॥੧੧॥
हरि दरगह पैनाईआ हरि आपि गलि लाईआ ॥११॥
Har ḏargėh painā▫ī▫ā har āp gal lā▫ī▫ā. ||11||
In God's court, they are clothed with the robe of honour. The Lord hugs them to His bosom.

ਜੋ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਇਦੇ ਤਿਨ ਦਰਸਨੁ ਦੀਜੈ ॥
जो गुरमुखि नामु धिआइदे तिन दरसनु दीजै ॥
Jo gurmukẖ nām ḏẖi▫ā▫iḏe ṯin ḏarsan ḏījai.
The Guru-wards, who meditate on Thy name, O Lord, bless Thou me with their vision.

ਹਮ ਤਿਨ ਕੇ ਚਰਣ ਪਖਾਲਦੇ ਧੂੜਿ ਘੋਲਿ ਘੋਲਿ ਪੀਜੈ ॥੧੨॥
हम तिन के चरण पखालदे धूड़ि घोलि घोलि पीजै ॥१२॥
Ham ṯin ke cẖaraṇ pakẖālḏe ḏẖūṛ gẖol gẖol pījai. ||12||
I wash their feet and stirring repeatedly the wash of their feet, I drink it heartily.

ਪਾਨ ਸੁਪਾਰੀ ਖਾਤੀਆ ਮੁਖਿ ਬੀੜੀਆ ਲਾਈਆ ॥
पान सुपारी खातीआ मुखि बीड़ीआ लाईआ ॥
Pān supārī kẖāṯī▫ā mukẖ bīṛī▫ā lā▫ī▫ā.
They, who eat betel-leaf and betel-nut and apply red-paint to their lips,
|
ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਕਦੇ ਨ ਚੇਤਿਓ ਜਮਿ ਪਕੜਿ ਚਲਾਈਆ ॥੧੩॥
हरि हरि कदे न चेतिओ जमि पकड़ि चलाईआ ॥१३॥
Har har kaḏe na cẖeṯi▫o jam pakaṛ cẖalā▫ī▫ā. ||13||
but contemplate not ever on the Lord God, them the death's myrmidon seizes and takes them away.

ਜਿਨ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮਾ ਹਰਿ ਚੇਤਿਆ ਹਿਰਦੈ ਉਰਿ ਧਾਰੇ ॥
जिन हरि नामा हरि चेतिआ हिरदै उरि धारे ॥
Jin har nāmā har cẖeṯi▫ā hirḏai ur ḏẖāre.
They who contemplate God's Name and God and keep Him clasped to their mind and heart,
|
ਤਿਨ ਜਮੁ ਨੇੜਿ ਨ ਆਵਈ ਗੁਰਸਿਖ ਗੁਰ ਪਿਆਰੇ ॥੧੪॥
तिन जमु नेड़ि न आवई गुरसिख गुर पिआरे ॥१४॥
Ŧin jam neṛ na āvī gursikẖ gur pi▫āre. ||14||
Death's courier draws not near them. The Guru's disciples are beloved of the Guru.
|
ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਨਿਧਾਨੁ ਹੈ ਕੋਈ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਜਾਣੈ ॥
हरि का नामु निधानु है कोई गुरमुखि जाणै ॥
Har kā nām niḏẖān hai ko▫ī gurmukẖ jāṇai.
God's Name is a treasure, but some rare one comes to know, it through the Guru.
|
ਨਾਨਕ ਜਿਨ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਭੇਟਿਆ ਰੰਗਿ ਰਲੀਆ ਮਾਣੈ ॥੧੫॥
नानक जिन सतिगुरु भेटिआ रंगि रलीआ माणै ॥१५॥
Nānak jin saṯgur bẖeti▫ā rang ralī▫ā māṇai. ||15||
Nanak, they who meet with the True Guru, enjoy peace and pleasure.

ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਦਾਤਾ ਆਖੀਐ ਤੁਸਿ ਕਰੇ ਪਸਾਓ ॥
सतिगुरु दाता आखीऐ तुसि करे पसाओ ॥
Saṯgur ḏāṯā ākẖī▫ai ṯus kare pasā▫o.
The True Guru is said to be the bountiful donor. In his mercy. he bestows gifts.
|
ਹਉ ਗੁਰ ਵਿਟਹੁ ਸਦ ਵਾਰਿਆ ਜਿਨਿ ਦਿਤੜਾ ਨਾਓ ॥੧੬॥
हउ गुर विटहु सद वारिआ जिनि दितड़ा नाओ ॥१६॥
Ha▫o gur vitahu saḏ vāri▫ā jin ḏiṯ▫ṛā nā▫o. ||16||
I am ever a sacrifice unto the Guru, who has blest me with the Lord's name.
|
ਸੋ ਧੰਨੁ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਬਾਸਿ ਹੈ ਹਰਿ ਦੇਇ ਸਨੇਹਾ ॥
सो धंनु गुरू साबासि है हरि देइ सनेहा ॥
So ḏẖan gurū sābās hai har ḏe▫e sanehā.
Blest! blest! is the Guru, who imparts to me the Lord's message.
|
ਹਉ ਵੇਖਿ ਵੇਖਿ ਗੁਰੂ ਵਿਗਸਿਆ ਗੁਰ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਦੇਹਾ ॥੧੭॥
हउ वेखि वेखि गुरू विगसिआ गुर सतिगुर देहा ॥१७॥
Ha▫o vekẖ vekẖ gurū vigsi▫ā gur saṯgur ḏehā. ||17||
Seeing, yea, seeing the Guru and the body of the Great True Guru, I am ever in bloom.

ਗੁਰ ਰਸਨਾ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਬੋਲਦੀ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮਿ ਸੁਹਾਵੀ ॥
गुर रसना अम्रितु बोलदी हरि नामि सुहावी ॥
Gur rasnā amriṯ bolḏī har nām suhāvī.
The Guru's tongue utters Divine Nectar and is adorned with God's Name.

ਜਿਨ ਸੁਣਿ ਸਿਖਾ ਗੁਰੁ ਮੰਨਿਆ ਤਿਨਾ ਭੁਖ ਸਭ ਜਾਵੀ ॥੧੮॥
जिन सुणि सिखा गुरु मंनिआ तिना भुख सभ जावी ॥१८॥
Jin suṇ sikẖā gur mani▫ā ṯinā bẖukẖ sabẖ jāvī. ||18||
The Sikhs, who hear and obey the Guru, all their cravings depart.
|
ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਮਾਰਗੁ ਆਖੀਐ ਕਹੁ ਕਿਤੁ ਬਿਧਿ ਜਾਈਐ ॥
हरि का मारगु आखीऐ कहु कितु बिधि जाईऐ ॥
Har kā mārag ākẖī▫ai kaho kiṯ biḏẖ jā▫ī▫ai.
People talk of the God's way. Pray, tell me, by What means can I tread upon it?
|
ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਤੇਰਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਹੈ ਹਰਿ ਖਰਚੁ ਲੈ ਜਾਈਐ ॥੧੯॥
हरि हरि तेरा नामु है हरि खरचु लै जाईऐ ॥१९॥
Har har ṯerā nām hai har kẖaracẖ lai jā▫ī▫ai. ||19||
My Lord God, I can tread upon this path, by taking with me the viaticum of Thee and Thy Name.

ਜਿਨ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਹਰਿ ਆਰਾਧਿਆ ਸੇ ਸਾਹ ਵਡ ਦਾਣੇ ॥
जिन गुरमुखि हरि आराधिआ से साह वड दाणे ॥
Jin gurmukẖ har ārāḏẖi▫ā se sāh vad ḏāṇe.
The Guru-wards, who meditate on the Lord, they are wealthy and very wise.
|
ਹਉ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਕਉ ਸਦ ਵਾਰਿਆ ਗੁਰ ਬਚਨਿ ਸਮਾਣੇ ॥੨੦॥
हउ सतिगुर कउ सद वारिआ गुर बचनि समाणे ॥२०॥
Ha▫o saṯgur ka▫o saḏ vāri▫ā gur bacẖan samāṇe. ||20||
I am ever a sacrifice unto the True Guru and am absorbed in the Guru's hymns.

ਤੂ ਠਾਕੁਰੁ ਤੂ ਸਾਹਿਬੋ ਤੂਹੈ ਮੇਰਾ ਮੀਰਾ ॥
तू ठाकुरु तू साहिबो तूहै मेरा मीरा ॥
Ŧū ṯẖākur ṯū sāhibo ṯūhai merā mīrā.
Thou art the Master, Thou the Lord and Thou my sovereign.
|
ਤੁਧੁ ਭਾਵੈ ਤੇਰੀ ਬੰਦਗੀ ਤੂ ਗੁਣੀ ਗਹੀਰਾ ॥੨੧॥
तुधु भावै तेरी बंदगी तू गुणी गहीरा ॥२१॥
Ŧuḏẖ bẖāvai ṯerī banḏagī ṯū guṇī gahīrā. ||21||
If to so pleases Thee, then alone can Thy devotional service be performed, O Lord. Thou art an ocean of merits.

ਆਪੇ ਹਰਿ ਇਕ ਰੰਗੁ ਹੈ ਆਪੇ ਬਹੁ ਰੰਗੀ ॥
आपे हरि इक रंगु है आपे बहु रंगी ॥
Āpe har ik rang hai āpe baho rangī.
Himself the Lord is manifest In many forms, and Himself He is one form alone.

ਜੋ ਤਿਸੁ ਭਾਵੈ ਨਾਨਕਾ ਸਾਈ ਗਲ ਚੰਗੀ ॥੨੨॥੨॥
जो तिसु भावै नानका साई गल चंगी ॥२२॥२॥
Jo ṯis bẖāvai nānkā sā▫ī gal cẖangī. ||22||2||
Whatever pleases Him, O Nanak, that alone is the good thing.
|
ਤਿਲੰਗ ਮਹਲਾ ੯ ਕਾਫੀ
तिलंग महला ९ काफी
Ŧilang mėhlā 9 kāfī
Tilang 9th Guru.
|
ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥
ੴ सतिगुर प्रसादि ॥
Ik▫oaʼnkār saṯgur parsāḏ.
There is but One God. By True Guru's grace is He obtained.
|
ਚੇਤਨਾ ਹੈ ਤਉ ਚੇਤ ਲੈ ਨਿਸਿ ਦਿਨਿ ਮੈ ਪ੍ਰਾਨੀ ॥
चेतना है तउ चेत लै निसि दिनि मै प्रानी ॥
Cẖeṯnā hai ṯa▫o cẖeṯ lai nis ḏin mai parānī.
O mortal, if thou hast any understanding, then remember thou Thy Lord, night and day.
|
ਛਿਨੁ ਛਿਨੁ ਅਉਧ ਬਿਹਾਤੁ ਹੈ ਫੂਟੈ ਘਟ ਜਿਉ ਪਾਨੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
छिनु छिनु अउध बिहातु है फूटै घट जिउ पानी ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Cẖẖin cẖẖin a▫oḏẖ bihāṯ hai fūtai gẖat ji▫o pānī. ||1|| rahā▫o.
Every moment, life is passing away like the water from the cracked pitcher. Pause.
|
ਹਰਿ ਗੁਨ ਕਾਹਿ ਨ ਗਾਵਹੀ ਮੂਰਖ ਅਗਿਆਨਾ ॥
हरि गुन काहि न गावही मूरख अगिआना ॥
Har gun kāhi na gāvhī mūrakẖ agi▫ānā.
Why singest thou not the praise of God, O ignorant fool?

ਝੂਠੈ ਲਾਲਚਿ ਲਾਗਿ ਕੈ ਨਹਿ ਮਰਨੁ ਪਛਾਨਾ ॥੧॥
झूठै लालचि लागि कै नहि मरनु पछाना ॥१॥
Jẖūṯẖai lālacẖ lāg kai nėh maran pacẖẖānā. ||1||
Attached to false avarice, thou thinkest not of death.
|
ਅਜਹੂ ਕਛੁ ਬਿਗਰਿਓ ਨਹੀ ਜੋ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਗੁਨ ਗਾਵੈ ॥
अजहू कछु बिगरिओ नही जो प्रभ गुन गावै ॥
Ajhū kacẖẖ bigri▫o nahī jo parabẖ gun gāvai.
No harm has yet been done, If thou even now singest Lord's praise.

ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਤਿਹ ਭਜਨ ਤੇ ਨਿਰਭੈ ਪਦੁ ਪਾਵੈ ॥੨॥੧॥
कहु नानक तिह भजन ते निरभै पदु पावै ॥२॥१॥
Kaho Nānak ṯih bẖajan ṯe nirbẖai paḏ pāvai. ||2||1||
Says, Nanak, by meditating on Him, thou shalt obtain the sublime state of fearlessness.

ਤਿਲੰਗ ਮਹਲਾ ੯ ॥
तिलंग महला ९ ॥
Ŧilang mėhlā 9.
Tilang 9th Guru.

ਜਾਗ ਲੇਹੁ ਰੇ ਮਨਾ ਜਾਗ ਲੇਹੁ ਕਹਾ ਗਾਫਲ ਸੋਇਆ ॥
जाग लेहु रे मना जाग लेहु कहा गाफल सोइआ ॥
Jāg leho re manā jāg leho kahā gāfal so▫i▫ā.
Awake, O man, be awake; why art thou sleeping heedlessly.
|
ਜੋ ਤਨੁ ਉਪਜਿਆ ਸੰਗ ਹੀ ਸੋ ਭੀ ਸੰਗਿ ਨ ਹੋਇਆ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
जो तनु उपजिआ संग ही सो भी संगि न होइआ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Jo ṯan upji▫ā sang hī so bẖī sang na ho▫i▫ā. ||1|| rahā▫o.
The body, that was born with thee, even that shall not go with thee. Pause.
|
ਮਾਤ ਪਿਤਾ ਸੁਤ ਬੰਧ ਜਨ ਹਿਤੁ ਜਾ ਸਿਉ ਕੀਨਾ ॥
मात पिता सुत बंध जन हितु जा सिउ कीना ॥
Māṯ piṯā suṯ banḏẖ jan hiṯ jā si▫o kīnā.
The mother, father, sons and relatives, to whom thou bearest love,
|
ਜੀਉ ਛੂਟਿਓ ਜਬ ਦੇਹ ਤੇ ਡਾਰਿ ਅਗਨਿ ਮੈ ਦੀਨਾ ॥੧॥
जीउ छूटिओ जब देह ते डारि अगनि मै दीना ॥१॥
Jī▫o cẖẖūti▫o jab ḏeh ṯe dār agan mai ḏīnā. ||1||
they will, when the soul separates from it.
