ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥
ੴ सतिगुर प्रसादि ॥
Ik▫oaʼnkār saṯgur parsāḏ.
There is but One God. By True Guru's grace is He obtained.
|
ਸੁਨਿ ਮਨ ਅਕਥ ਕਥਾ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮ ॥
सुनि मन अकथ कथा हरि नाम ॥
Sun man akath kathā har nām.
Hear thou, O man, the inexpressible discourse of God's Name.
|
ਰਿਧਿ ਬੁਧਿ ਸਿਧਿ ਸੁਖ ਪਾਵਹਿ ਭਜੁ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਹਰਿ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਮ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
रिधि बुधि सिधि सुख पावहि भजु गुरमति हरि राम राम ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Riḏẖ buḏẖ siḏẖ sukẖ pāvahi bẖaj gurmaṯ har rām rām. ||1|| rahā▫o.
Under Guru's instruction, meditate thou on God, thy Lord Master and thou shalt obtain wealth, wisdom, supernatural powers and comforts. Pause.

ਨਾਨਾ ਖਿਆਨ ਪੁਰਾਨ ਜਸੁ ਊਤਮ ਖਟ ਦਰਸਨ ਗਾਵਹਿ ਰਾਮ ॥
नाना खिआन पुरान जसु ऊतम खट दरसन गावहि राम ॥
Nānā kẖi▫ān purān jas ūṯam kẖat ḏarsan gāvahi rām.
Myriads of legends, mythical books and six schools of philosophy, sings the sublime praise of the Lord.

ਸੰਕਰ ਕ੍ਰੋੜਿ ਤੇਤੀਸ ਧਿਆਇਓ ਨਹੀ ਜਾਨਿਓ ਹਰਿ ਮਰਮਾਮ ॥੧॥
संकर क्रोड़ि तेतीस धिआइओ नही जानिओ हरि मरमाम ॥१॥
Sankar kroṛ ṯeṯīs ḏẖi▫ā▫i▫o nahī jāni▫o har marmām. ||1||
Shiva and thirty three millions of gods contemplate the Lord, but know not His secret.

ਸੁਰਿ ਨਰ ਗਣ ਗੰਧ੍ਰਬ ਜਸੁ ਗਾਵਹਿ ਸਭ ਗਾਵਤ ਜੇਤ ਉਪਾਮ ॥
सुरि नर गण गंध्रब जसु गावहि सभ गावत जेत उपाम ॥
Sur nar gaṇ ganḏẖarab jas gāvahi sabẖ gāvaṯ jeṯ upām.
The godly men, God's attendants and celestial singer sing His praise, and sings of Him all the creation, that he has created.

ਨਾਨਕ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕਰੀ ਹਰਿ ਜਿਨ ਕਉ ਤੇ ਸੰਤ ਭਲੇ ਹਰਿ ਰਾਮ ॥੨॥੧॥
नानक क्रिपा करी हरि जिन कउ ते संत भले हरि राम ॥२॥१॥
Nānak kirpā karī har jin ka▫o ṯe sanṯ bẖale har rām. ||2||1||
Nanak, they, to whom God shows mercy, become the good saints of the Lord's God.

ਮਨ ਮਿਲਿ ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾ ਜਸੁ ਗਾਇਓ ॥
मन मिलि संत जना जसु गाइओ ॥
Man mil sanṯ janā jas gā▫i▫o.
O man, they, who, meeting with the holy men, sing the Lord's praise,
|
ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਰਤਨੁ ਰਤਨੁ ਹਰਿ ਨੀਕੋ ਗੁਰਿ ਸਤਿਗੁਰਿ ਦਾਨੁ ਦਿਵਾਇਓ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
हरि हरि रतनु रतनु हरि नीको गुरि सतिगुरि दानु दिवाइओ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Har har raṯan raṯan har nīko gur saṯgur ḏān divā▫i▫o. ||1|| rahā▫o.
they are blessed with the gift of the Lord God's jewel, the Lord's sublime jewel, by the Guru, the True Guru. Pause.
|
ਤਿਸੁ ਜਨ ਕਉ ਮਨੁ ਤਨੁ ਸਭੁ ਦੇਵਉ ਜਿਨਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਸੁਨਾਇਓ ॥
तिसु जन कउ मनु तनु सभु देवउ जिनि हरि हरि नामु सुनाइओ ॥
Ŧis jan ka▫o man ṯan sabẖ ḏeva▫o jin har har nām sunā▫i▫o.
Offer I my soul, body and everything to the man, who recites to me the Lord master's Name.

ਧਨੁ ਮਾਇਆ ਸੰਪੈ ਤਿਸੁ ਦੇਵਉ ਜਿਨਿ ਹਰਿ ਮੀਤੁ ਮਿਲਾਇਓ ॥੧॥
धनु माइआ स्मपै तिसु देवउ जिनि हरि मीतु मिलाइओ ॥१॥
Ḏẖan mā▫i▫ā sampai ṯis ḏeva▫o jin har mīṯ milā▫i▫o. ||1||
Surrender I, my wealth riches and property to him, who unites me with God, my Friend.

ਖਿਨੁ ਕਿੰਚਿਤ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕਰੀ ਜਗਦੀਸਰਿ ਤਬ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਜਸੁ ਧਿਆਇਓ ॥
खिनु किंचित क्रिपा करी जगदीसरि तब हरि हरि हरि जसु धिआइओ ॥
Kẖin kicẖinṯ kirpā karī jagḏīsar ṯab har har har jas ḏẖi▫ā▫i▫o.
When the World-Lord. showed me a little mercy, even for a moment, then dwelt I on my God's the Lord Master's praise.

ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਕਉ ਹਰਿ ਭੇਟੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਦੁਖੁ ਹਉਮੈ ਰੋਗੁ ਗਵਾਇਓ ॥੨॥੨॥
जन नानक कउ हरि भेटे सुआमी दुखु हउमै रोगु गवाइओ ॥२॥२॥
Jan Nānak ka▫o har bẖete su▫āmī ḏukẖ ha▫umai rog gavā▫i▫o. ||2||2||
The Lord Master has met slave Nanak and his pain of the ailment of ego is eliminated.

ਹਰਿ ਜਨੁ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮ ਗੁਨ ਗਾਵੈ ॥
हरि जनु राम नाम गुन गावै ॥
Har jan rām nām gun gāvai.
The Lord's slave sings the praise of the Lord's Name.
|
ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਨਿੰਦ ਕਰੇ ਹਰਿ ਜਨ ਕੀ ਅਪੁਨਾ ਗੁਨੁ ਨ ਗਵਾਵੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
जे कोई निंद करे हरि जन की अपुना गुनु न गवावै ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Je ko▫ī ninḏ kare har jan kī apunā gun na gavāvai. ||1|| rahā▫o.
If, some one slanders the Lord's servant, he renounces not his merit. Pause.
|
ਜੋ ਕਿਛੁ ਕਰੇ ਸੁ ਆਪੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਹਰਿ ਆਪੇ ਕਾਰ ਕਮਾਵੈ ॥
जो किछु करे सु आपे सुआमी हरि आपे कार कमावै ॥
Jo kicẖẖ kare so āpe su▫āmī har āpe kār kamāvai.
What-so-ever the Lord does, that, He does Himself, God, by Himself does all the deeds.

ਹਰਿ ਆਪੇ ਹੀ ਮਤਿ ਦੇਵੈ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਹਰਿ ਆਪੇ ਬੋਲਿ ਬੁਲਾਵੈ ॥੧॥
हरि आपे ही मति देवै सुआमी हरि आपे बोलि बुलावै ॥१॥
Har āpe hī maṯ ḏevai su▫āmī har āpe bol bulāvai. ||1||
The Lord Master Himself imparts understanding and Himself the Lord makes man utter the words.
