ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ
ੴ सतिगुर प्रसादि ॥
Ik▫oaʼnkār saṯgur parsāḏ.
One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:

ਹਰਿ ਜੀਉ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕਰੇ ਤਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਈਐ ਜੀਉ
हरि जीउ क्रिपा करे ता नामु धिआईऐ जीउ ॥
Har jī▫o kirpā kare ṯā nām ḏẖi▫ā▫ī▫ai jī▫o.
When the Dear Lord grants His Grace, one meditates on the Naam, the Name of the Lord.

ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਮਿਲੈ ਸੁਭਾਇ ਸਹਜਿ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਈਐ ਜੀਉ
सतिगुरु मिलै सुभाइ सहजि गुण गाईऐ जीउ ॥
Saṯgur milai subẖā▫e sahj guṇ gā▫ī▫ai jī▫o.
Meeting the True Guru, through loving faith and devotion, one intuitively sings the Glorious Praises of the Lord.

ਗੁਣ ਗਾਇ ਵਿਗਸੈ ਸਦਾ ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਜਾ ਆਪਿ ਸਾਚੇ ਭਾਵਏ
गुण गाइ विगसै सदा अनदिनु जा आपि साचे भावए ॥
Guṇ gā▫e vigsai saḏā an▫ḏin jā āp sācẖe bẖāv▫e.
Singing His Glorious Praises continually, night and day, one blossoms forth, when it is pleasing to the True Lord.

ਅਹੰਕਾਰੁ ਹਉਮੈ ਤਜੈ ਮਾਇਆ ਸਹਜਿ ਨਾਮਿ ਸਮਾਵਏ
अहंकारु हउमै तजै माइआ सहजि नामि समावए ॥
Ahaʼnkār ha▫umai ṯajai mā▫i▫ā sahj nām samāv▫e.
Egotism, self-conceit and Maya are forsaken, and he is intuitively absorbed into the Naam.

ਆਪਿ ਕਰਤਾ ਕਰੇ ਸੋਈ ਆਪਿ ਦੇਇ ਪਾਈਐ
आपि करता करे सोई आपि देइ त पाईऐ ॥
Āp karṯā kare so▫ī āp ḏe▫e ṯa pā▫ī▫ai.
The Creator Himself acts; when He gives, then we receive.

ਹਰਿ ਜੀਉ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕਰੇ ਤਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਈਐ ਜੀਉ ॥੧॥
हरि जीउ क्रिपा करे ता नामु धिआईऐ जीउ ॥१॥
Har jī▫o kirpā kare ṯā nām ḏẖi▫ā▫ī▫ai jī▫o. ||1||
When the Dear Lord grants His Grace, we meditate on the Naam. ||1||

ਅੰਦਰਿ ਸਾਚਾ ਨੇਹੁ ਪੂਰੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੈ ਜੀਉ
अंदरि साचा नेहु पूरे सतिगुरै जीउ ॥
Anḏar sācẖā nehu pūre saṯigurai jī▫o.
Deep within, I feel true love for the Perfect True Guru.

ਹਉ ਤਿਸੁ ਸੇਵੀ ਦਿਨੁ ਰਾਤਿ ਮੈ ਕਦੇ ਵੀਸਰੈ ਜੀਉ
हउ तिसु सेवी दिनु राति मै कदे न वीसरै जीउ ॥
Ha▫o ṯis sevī ḏin rāṯ mai kaḏe na vīsrai jī▫o.
I serve Him day and night; I never forget Him.

ਕਦੇ ਵਿਸਾਰੀ ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਸਮ੍ਹ੍ਹਾਰੀ ਜਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਲਈ ਤਾ ਜੀਵਾ
कदे न विसारी अनदिनु सम्हारी जा नामु लई ता जीवा ॥
Kaḏe na visārī an▫ḏin samĥārī jā nām la▫ī ṯā jīvā.
I never forget Him; I remember Him night and day. When I chant the Naam, then I live.

ਸ੍ਰਵਣੀ ਸੁਣੀ ਇਹੁ ਮਨੁ ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤੈ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਪੀਵਾ
स्रवणी सुणी त इहु मनु त्रिपतै गुरमुखि अम्रितु पीवा ॥
Sarvaṇī suṇī ṯa ih man ṯaripṯai gurmukẖ amriṯ pīvā.
With my ears, I hear about Him, and my mind is satisfied. As Gurmukh, I drink in the Ambrosial Nectar.

ਨਦਰਿ ਕਰੇ ਤਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਮੇਲੇ ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਬਿਬੇਕ ਬੁਧਿ ਬਿਚਰੈ
नदरि करे ता सतिगुरु मेले अनदिनु बिबेक बुधि बिचरै ॥
Naḏar kare ṯā saṯgur mele an▫ḏin bibek buḏẖ bicẖrai.
If He bestows His Glance of Grace, then I shall meet the True Guru; my discriminating intellect would contemplate Him, night and day.

ਅੰਦਰਿ ਸਾਚਾ ਨੇਹੁ ਪੂਰੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੈ ॥੨॥
अंदरि साचा नेहु पूरे सतिगुरै ॥२॥
Anḏar sācẖā nehu pūre saṯigurai. ||2||
Deep within, I feel true love for the Perfect True Guru. ||2||

ਸਤਸੰਗਤਿ ਮਿਲੈ ਵਡਭਾਗਿ ਤਾ ਹਰਿ ਰਸੁ ਆਵਏ ਜੀਉ
सतसंगति मिलै वडभागि ता हरि रसु आवए जीउ ॥
Saṯsangaṯ milai vadbẖāg ṯā har ras āv▫e jī▫o.
By great good fortune, one joins the Sat Sangat, the True Congregation; then, one comes to savor the subtle essence of the Lord.

ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਰਹੈ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਇ ਸਹਜਿ ਸਮਾਵਏ ਜੀਉ
अनदिनु रहै लिव लाइ त सहजि समावए जीउ ॥
An▫ḏin rahai liv lā▫e ṯa sahj samāv▫e jī▫o.
Night and day, he remains lovingly focused on the Lord; he merges in celestial peace.

ਸਹਜਿ ਸਮਾਵੈ ਤਾ ਹਰਿ ਮਨਿ ਭਾਵੈ ਸਦਾ ਅਤੀਤੁ ਬੈਰਾਗੀ
सहजि समावै ता हरि मनि भावै सदा अतीतु बैरागी ॥
Sahj samāvai ṯā har man bẖāvai saḏā aṯīṯ bairāgī.
Merging in celestial peace, he becomes pleasing to the Lord's Mind; he remains forever unattached and untouched.

ਹਲਤਿ ਪਲਤਿ ਸੋਭਾ ਜਗ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮਿ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਗੀ
हलति पलति सोभा जग अंतरि राम नामि लिव लागी ॥
Halaṯ palaṯ sobẖā jag anṯar rām nām liv lāgī.
He receives honor in this world and the next, lovingly focused on the Lord's Name.

ਹਰਖ ਸੋਗ ਦੁਹਾ ਤੇ ਮੁਕਤਾ ਜੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਕਰੇ ਸੁ ਭਾਵਏ
हरख सोग दुहा ते मुकता जो प्रभु करे सु भावए ॥
Harakẖ sog ḏuhā ṯe mukṯā jo parabẖ kare so bẖāv▫e.
He is liberated from both pleasure and pain; he is pleased by whatever God does.

ਸਤਸੰਗਤਿ ਮਿਲੈ ਵਡਭਾਗਿ ਤਾ ਹਰਿ ਰਸੁ ਆਵਏ ਜੀਉ ॥੩॥
सतसंगति मिलै वडभागि ता हरि रसु आवए जीउ ॥३॥
Saṯsangaṯ milai vadbẖāg ṯā har ras āv▫e jī▫o. ||3||

ਦੂਜੈ ਭਾਇ ਦੁਖੁ ਹੋਇ ਮਨਮੁਖ ਜਮਿ ਜੋਹਿਆ ਜੀਉ
दूजै भाइ दुखु होइ मनमुख जमि जोहिआ जीउ ॥
Ḏūjai bẖā▫e ḏukẖ ho▫e manmukẖ jam johi▫ā jī▫o.
In the love of duality, there is pain and suffering; the Messenger of Death eyes the self-willed manmukhs.

ਹਾਇ ਹਾਇ ਕਰੇ ਦਿਨੁ ਰਾਤਿ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੁਖਿ ਮੋਹਿਆ ਜੀਉ
हाइ हाइ करे दिनु राति माइआ दुखि मोहिआ जीउ ॥
Hā▫e hā▫e kare ḏin rāṯ mā▫i▫ā ḏukẖ mohi▫ā jī▫o.
They cry and howl, day and night, caught by the pain of Maya.

ਮਾਇਆ ਦੁਖਿ ਮੋਹਿਆ ਹਉਮੈ ਰੋਹਿਆ ਮੇਰੀ ਮੇਰੀ ਕਰਤ ਵਿਹਾਵਏ
माइआ दुखि मोहिआ हउमै रोहिआ मेरी मेरी करत विहावए ॥
Mā▫i▫ā ḏukẖ mohi▫ā ha▫umai rohi▫ā merī merī karaṯ vihāva▫e.
Caught by the pain of Maya, provoked by his ego, he passes his life crying out, "Mine, mine!".

ਜੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਦੇਇ ਤਿਸੁ ਚੇਤੈ ਨਾਹੀ ਅੰਤਿ ਗਇਆ ਪਛੁਤਾਵਏ
जो प्रभु देइ तिसु चेतै नाही अंति गइआ पछुतावए ॥
Jo parabẖ ḏe▫e ṯis cẖeṯai nāhī anṯ ga▫i▫ā pacẖẖuṯāva▫e.
He does not remember God, the Giver, and in the end, he departs regretting and repenting.

ਬਿਨੁ ਨਾਵੈ ਕੋ ਸਾਥਿ ਚਾਲੈ ਪੁਤ੍ਰ ਕਲਤ੍ਰ ਮਾਇਆ ਧੋਹਿਆ
बिनु नावै को साथि न चालै पुत्र कलत्र माइआ धोहिआ ॥
Bin nāvai ko sāth na cẖālai puṯar kalṯar mā▫i▫ā ḏẖohi▫ā.
Without the Name, nothing shall go along with him; not his children, spouse or the enticements of Maya.

ਦੂਜੈ ਭਾਇ ਦੁਖੁ ਹੋਇ ਮਨਮੁਖਿ ਜਮਿ ਜੋਹਿਆ ਜੀਉ ॥੪॥
दूजै भाइ दुखु होइ मनमुखि जमि जोहिआ जीउ ॥४॥
Ḏūjai bẖā▫e ḏukẖ ho▫e manmukẖ jam johi▫ā jī▫o. ||4||
In the love of duality, there is pain and suffering; the Messenger of Death eyes the self-willed manmukhs. ||4||

ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਲੇਹੁ ਮਿਲਾਇ ਮਹਲੁ ਹਰਿ ਪਾਇਆ ਜੀਉ
करि किरपा लेहु मिलाइ महलु हरि पाइआ जीउ ॥
Kar kirpā leho milā▫e mahal har pā▫i▫ā jī▫o.
Granting His Grace, the Lord has merged me with Himself; I have found the Mansion of the Lord's Presence.

ਸਦਾ ਰਹੈ ਕਰ ਜੋੜਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਮਨਿ ਭਾਇਆ ਜੀਉ
सदा रहै कर जोड़ि प्रभु मनि भाइआ जीउ ॥
Saḏā rahai kar joṛ parabẖ man bẖā▫i▫ā jī▫o.
I remain standing with my palms pressed together; I have become pleasing to God's Mind.

ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਮਨਿ ਭਾਵੈ ਤਾ ਹੁਕਮਿ ਸਮਾਵੈ ਹੁਕਮੁ ਮੰਨਿ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਇਆ
प्रभु मनि भावै ता हुकमि समावै हुकमु मंनि सुखु पाइआ ॥
Parabẖ man bẖāvai ṯā hukam samāvai hukam man sukẖ pā▫i▫ā.
When one is pleasing to God's Mind, then he merges in the Hukam of the Lord's Command; surrendering to His Hukam, he finds peace.

ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਜਪਤ ਰਹੈ ਦਿਨੁ ਰਾਤੀ ਸਹਜੇ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਇਆ
अनदिनु जपत रहै दिनु राती सहजे नामु धिआइआ ॥
An▫ḏin japaṯ rahai ḏin rāṯī sėhje nām ḏẖi▫ā▫i▫ā.
Night and day, he chants the Lord's Name, day and night; intuitively, naturally, he meditates on the Naam, the Name of the Lord.

ਨਾਮੋ ਨਾਮੁ ਮਿਲੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮੁ ਮਨਿ ਭਾਵਏ
नामो नामु मिली वडिआई नानक नामु मनि भावए ॥
Nāmo nām milī vadi▫ā▫ī Nānak nām man bẖāv▫e.
Through the Naam, the glorious greatness of the Naam is obtained; the Naam is pleasing to Nanak's mind.

ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਲੇਹੁ ਮਿਲਾਇ ਮਹਲੁ ਹਰਿ ਪਾਵਏ ਜੀਉ ॥੫॥੧॥
करि किरपा लेहु मिलाइ महलु हरि पावए जीउ ॥५॥१॥
Kar kirpā leho milā▫e mahal har pāv▫e jī▫o. ||5||1||
Granting His Grace, the Lord has merged me with Himself; I have found the Mansion of the Lord's Presence. ||5||1||
