ਸਾਚੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਹਮ ਤੁਮ ਸਿਉ ਜੋਰੀ
साची प्रीति हम तुम सिउ जोरी ॥
Sācẖī parīṯ ham ṯum si▫o jorī.
I am joined in true love with You, Lord.

ਤੁਮ ਸਿਉ ਜੋਰਿ ਅਵਰ ਸੰਗਿ ਤੋਰੀ ॥੩॥
तुम सिउ जोरि अवर संगि तोरी ॥३॥
Ŧum si▫o jor avar sang ṯorī. ||3||
I am joined with You, and I have broken with all others. ||3||

ਜਹ ਜਹ ਜਾਉ ਤਹਾ ਤੇਰੀ ਸੇਵਾ
जह जह जाउ तहा तेरी सेवा ॥
Jah jah jā▫o ṯahā ṯerī sevā.
Wherever I go, there I serve You.

ਤੁਮ ਸੋ ਠਾਕੁਰੁ ਅਉਰੁ ਦੇਵਾ ॥੪॥
तुम सो ठाकुरु अउरु न देवा ॥४॥
Ŧum so ṯẖākur a▫or na ḏevā. ||4||
There is no other Lord Master than You, O Divine Lord. ||4||

ਤੁਮਰੇ ਭਜਨ ਕਟਹਿ ਜਮ ਫਾਂਸਾ
तुमरे भजन कटहि जम फांसा ॥
Ŧumre bẖajan katėh jam fāʼnsā.
Meditating, vibrating upon You, the noose of death is cut away.

ਭਗਤਿ ਹੇਤ ਗਾਵੈ ਰਵਿਦਾਸਾ ॥੫॥੫॥
भगति हेत गावै रविदासा ॥५॥५॥
Bẖagaṯ heṯ gāvai Raviḏāsā. ||5||5||
To attain devotional worship, Ravi Daas sings to You, Lord. ||5||5||

ਜਲ ਕੀ ਭੀਤਿ ਪਵਨ ਕਾ ਥੰਭਾ ਰਕਤ ਬੁੰਦ ਕਾ ਗਾਰਾ
जल की भीति पवन का थ्मभा रकत बुंद का गारा ॥
Jal kī bẖīṯ pavan kā thambẖā rakaṯ bunḏ kā gārā.
The body is a wall of water, supported by the pillars of air; the egg and sperm are the mortar.

ਹਾਡ ਮਾਸ ਨਾੜੀ ਕੋ ਪਿੰਜਰੁ ਪੰਖੀ ਬਸੈ ਬਿਚਾਰਾ ॥੧॥
हाड मास नाड़ीं को पिंजरु पंखी बसै बिचारा ॥१॥
Hād mās nāṛīʼn ko pinjar pankẖī basai bicẖārā. ||1||
The framework is made up of bones, flesh and veins; the poor soul-bird dwells within it. ||1||

ਪ੍ਰਾਨੀ ਕਿਆ ਮੇਰਾ ਕਿਆ ਤੇਰਾ
प्रानी किआ मेरा किआ तेरा ॥
Parānī ki▫ā merā ki▫ā ṯerā.
O mortal, what is mine, and what is yours?

ਜੈਸੇ ਤਰਵਰ ਪੰਖਿ ਬਸੇਰਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ
जैसे तरवर पंखि बसेरा ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Jaise ṯarvar pankẖ baserā. ||1|| rahā▫o.
The soul is like a bird perched upon a tree. ||1||Pause||

ਰਾਖਹੁ ਕੰਧ ਉਸਾਰਹੁ ਨੀਵਾਂ
राखहु कंध उसारहु नीवां ॥
Rākẖo kanḏẖ usārahu nīvāʼn.
You lay the foundation and build the walls.

ਸਾਢੇ ਤੀਨਿ ਹਾਥ ਤੇਰੀ ਸੀਵਾਂ ॥੨॥
साढे तीनि हाथ तेरी सीवां ॥२॥
Sādẖe ṯīn hāth ṯerī sīvāʼn. ||2||
But in the end, three and a half cubits will be your measured space. ||2||

ਬੰਕੇ ਬਾਲ ਪਾਗ ਸਿਰਿ ਡੇਰੀ
बंके बाल पाग सिरि डेरी ॥
Banke bāl pāg sir derī.
You make your hair beautiful, and wear a stylish turban on your head.

ਇਹੁ ਤਨੁ ਹੋਇਗੋ ਭਸਮ ਕੀ ਢੇਰੀ ॥੩॥
इहु तनु होइगो भसम की ढेरी ॥३॥
Ih ṯan ho▫igo bẖasam kī dẖerī. ||3||
But in the end, this body shall be reduced to a pile of ashes. ||3||

ਊਚੇ ਮੰਦਰ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਨਾਰੀ
ऊचे मंदर सुंदर नारी ॥
Ūcẖe manḏar sunḏar nārī.
Your palaces are lofty, and your brides are beautiful.

ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮ ਬਿਨੁ ਬਾਜੀ ਹਾਰੀ ॥੪॥
राम नाम बिनु बाजी हारी ॥४॥
Rām nām bin bājī hārī. ||4||
But without the Lord's Name, you shall lose the game entirely. ||4||

ਮੇਰੀ ਜਾਤਿ ਕਮੀਨੀ ਪਾਂਤਿ ਕਮੀਨੀ ਓਛਾ ਜਨਮੁ ਹਮਾਰਾ
मेरी जाति कमीनी पांति कमीनी ओछा जनमु हमारा ॥
Merī jāṯ kamīnī pāʼnṯ kamīnī ocẖẖā janam hamārā.
My social status is low, my ancestry is low, and my life is wretched.

ਤੁਮ ਸਰਨਾਗਤਿ ਰਾਜਾ ਰਾਮ ਚੰਦ ਕਹਿ ਰਵਿਦਾਸ ਚਮਾਰਾ ॥੫॥੬॥
तुम सरनागति राजा राम चंद कहि रविदास चमारा ॥५॥६॥
Ŧum sarnāgaṯ rājā rām cẖanḏ kahi Raviḏās cẖamārā. ||5||6||
I have come to Your Sanctuary, O Luminous Lord, my King; so says Ravi Daas, the shoemaker. ||5||6||

ਚਮਰਟਾ ਗਾਂਠਿ ਜਨਈ
चमरटा गांठि न जनई ॥
Cẖamratā gāʼnṯẖ na jan▫ī.
I am a shoemaker, but I do not know how to mend shoes.

ਲੋਗੁ ਗਠਾਵੈ ਪਨਹੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ
लोगु गठावै पनही ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Log gaṯẖāvai panhī. ||1|| rahā▫o.
People come to me to mend their shoes. ||1||Pause||

ਆਰ ਨਹੀ ਜਿਹ ਤੋਪਉ
आर नही जिह तोपउ ॥
Ār nahī jih ṯopa▫o.
I have no awl to stitch them;

ਨਹੀ ਰਾਂਬੀ ਠਾਉ ਰੋਪਉ ॥੧॥
नही रांबी ठाउ रोपउ ॥१॥
Nahī rāʼnbī ṯẖā▫o ropa▫o. ||1||
I have no knife to patch them. ||1||

ਲੋਗੁ ਗੰਠਿ ਗੰਠਿ ਖਰਾ ਬਿਗੂਚਾ
लोगु गंठि गंठि खरा बिगूचा ॥
Log ganṯẖ ganṯẖ kẖarā bigūcẖā.
Mending, mending, people waste their lives and ruin themselves.

ਹਉ ਬਿਨੁ ਗਾਂਠੇ ਜਾਇ ਪਹੂਚਾ ॥੨॥
हउ बिनु गांठे जाइ पहूचा ॥२॥
Ha▫o bin gāʼnṯẖe jā▫e pahūcẖā. ||2||
Without wasting my time mending, I have found the Lord. ||2||

ਰਵਿਦਾਸੁ ਜਪੈ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮਾ
रविदासु जपै राम नामा ॥
Raviḏās japai rām nāmā.
Ravi Daas chants the Lord's Name;

ਮੋਹਿ ਜਮ ਸਿਉ ਨਾਹੀ ਕਾਮਾ ॥੩॥੭॥
मोहि जम सिउ नाही कामा ॥३॥७॥
Mohi jam si▫o nāhī kāmā. ||3||7||
he is not concerned with the Messenger of Death. ||3||7||

ਰਾਗੁ ਸੋਰਠਿ ਬਾਣੀ ਭਗਤ ਭੀਖਨ ਕੀ
रागु सोरठि बाणी भगत भीखन की
Rāg soraṯẖ baṇī bẖagaṯ Bẖīkẖan kī
Raag Sorat'h, The Word Of Devotee Bheekhan Jee:

ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ
ੴ सतिगुर प्रसादि ॥
Ik▫oaʼnkār saṯgur parsāḏ.
One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:

ਨੈਨਹੁ ਨੀਰੁ ਬਹੈ ਤਨੁ ਖੀਨਾ ਭਏ ਕੇਸ ਦੁਧ ਵਾਨੀ
नैनहु नीरु बहै तनु खीना भए केस दुध वानी ॥
Nainhu nīr bahai ṯan kẖīnā bẖa▫e kes ḏuḏẖ vānī.
Tears well up in my eyes, my body has become weak, and my hair has become milky-white.

ਰੂਧਾ ਕੰਠੁ ਸਬਦੁ ਨਹੀ ਉਚਰੈ ਅਬ ਕਿਆ ਕਰਹਿ ਪਰਾਨੀ ॥੧॥
रूधा कंठु सबदु नही उचरै अब किआ करहि परानी ॥१॥
Rūḏẖā kanṯẖ sabaḏ nahī ucẖrai ab ki▫ā karahi parānī. ||1||
My throat is tight, and I cannot utter even one word; what can I do now? I am a mere mortal. ||1||

ਰਾਮ ਰਾਇ ਹੋਹਿ ਬੈਦ ਬਨਵਾਰੀ
राम राइ होहि बैद बनवारी ॥
Rām rā▫e hohi baiḏ banvārī.
O Lord, my King, Gardener of the world-garden, be my Physician,

ਅਪਨੇ ਸੰਤਹ ਲੇਹੁ ਉਬਾਰੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ
अपने संतह लेहु उबारी ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Apne sanṯėh leho ubārī. ||1|| rahā▫o.
and save me, Your Saint. ||1||Pause||

ਮਾਥੇ ਪੀਰ ਸਰੀਰਿ ਜਲਨਿ ਹੈ ਕਰਕ ਕਰੇਜੇ ਮਾਹੀ
माथे पीर सरीरि जलनि है करक करेजे माही ॥
Māthe pīr sarīr jalan hai karak kareje māhī.
My head aches, my body is burning, and my heart is filled with anguish.

ਐਸੀ ਬੇਦਨ ਉਪਜਿ ਖਰੀ ਭਈ ਵਾ ਕਾ ਅਉਖਧੁ ਨਾਹੀ ॥੨॥
ऐसी बेदन उपजि खरी भई वा का अउखधु नाही ॥२॥
Aisī beḏan upaj kẖarī bẖa▫ī vā kā a▫ukẖaḏẖ nāhī. ||2||
Such is the disease that has struck me; there is no medicine to cure it. ||2||

ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਜਲੁ ਨਿਰਮਲੁ ਇਹੁ ਅਉਖਧੁ ਜਗਿ ਸਾਰਾ
हरि का नामु अम्रित जलु निरमलु इहु अउखधु जगि सारा ॥
Har kā nām amriṯ jal nirmal ih a▫ukẖaḏẖ jag sārā.
The Name of the Lord, the ambrosial, immaculate water, is the best medicine in the world.

ਗੁਰ ਪਰਸਾਦਿ ਕਹੈ ਜਨੁ ਭੀਖਨੁ ਪਾਵਉ ਮੋਖ ਦੁਆਰਾ ॥੩॥੧॥
गुर परसादि कहै जनु भीखनु पावउ मोख दुआरा ॥३॥१॥
Gur parsāḏ kahai jan Bẖīkẖan pāva▫o mokẖ ḏu▫ārā. ||3||1||
By Guru's Grace, says servant Bheekhan, I have found the Door of Salvation. ||3||1||

ਐਸਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਰਤਨੁ ਨਿਰਮੋਲਕੁ ਪੁੰਨਿ ਪਦਾਰਥੁ ਪਾਇਆ
ऐसा नामु रतनु निरमोलकु पुंनि पदारथु पाइआ ॥
Aisā nām raṯan nirmolak punn paḏārath pā▫i▫ā.
Such is the Naam, the Name of the Lord, the invaluable jewel, the most sublime wealth, which I have found through good deeds.

ਅਨਿਕ ਜਤਨ ਕਰਿ ਹਿਰਦੈ ਰਾਖਿਆ ਰਤਨੁ ਛਪੈ ਛਪਾਇਆ ॥੧॥
अनिक जतन करि हिरदै राखिआ रतनु न छपै छपाइआ ॥१॥
Anik jaṯan kar hirḏai rākẖi▫ā raṯan na cẖẖapai cẖẖapā▫i▫ā. ||1||
By various efforts, I have enshrined it within my heart; this jewel cannot be hidden by hiding it. ||1||

ਹਰਿ ਗੁਨ ਕਹਤੇ ਕਹਨੁ ਜਾਈ
हरि गुन कहते कहनु न जाई ॥
Har gun kahṯe kahan na jā▫ī.
The Glorious Praises of the Lord cannot be spoken by speaking.

ਜੈਸੇ ਗੂੰਗੇ ਕੀ ਮਿਠਿਆਈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ
जैसे गूंगे की मिठिआई ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Jaise gūnge kī miṯẖi▫ā▫ī. ||1|| rahā▫o.
They are like the sweet candies given to a mute. ||1||Pause||

ਰਸਨਾ ਰਮਤ ਸੁਨਤ ਸੁਖੁ ਸ੍ਰਵਨਾ ਚਿਤ ਚੇਤੇ ਸੁਖੁ ਹੋਈ
रसना रमत सुनत सुखु स्रवना चित चेते सुखु होई ॥
Rasnā ramaṯ sunaṯ sukẖ sarvanā cẖiṯ cẖeṯe sukẖ ho▫ī.
The tongue speaks, the ears listen, and the mind contemplates the Lord; they find peace and comfort.

ਕਹੁ ਭੀਖਨ ਦੁਇ ਨੈਨ ਸੰਤੋਖੇ ਜਹ ਦੇਖਾਂ ਤਹ ਸੋਈ ॥੨॥੨॥
कहु भीखन दुइ नैन संतोखे जह देखां तह सोई ॥२॥२॥
Kaho Bẖīkẖan ḏu▫e nain sanṯokẖe jah ḏekẖāʼn ṯah so▫ī. ||2||2||
Says Bheekhan, my eyes are content; wherever I look, there I see the Lord. ||2||2||
