Jė karāvai so karṇā.
Whatever You cause us to do, we do.

ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਰਿਦੈ ਪਰੋਇਆ ॥
हरि नामु रिदै परोइआ ॥
Har nām riḏai paro▫i▫ā.
I have woven the Lord's Name into the fabric of my heart.
|
ਸਭੁ ਕਾਜੁ ਹਮਾਰਾ ਹੋਇਆ ॥
सभु काजु हमारा होइआ ॥
Sabẖ kāj hamārā ho▫i▫ā.
All my affairs are resolved.
|
ਪ੍ਰਭ ਚਰਣੀ ਮਨੁ ਲਾਗਾ ॥
प्रभ चरणी मनु लागा ॥
Parabẖ cẖarṇī man lāgā.
His mind is attached to God's feet,
|
ਪੂਰਨ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਭਾਗਾ ॥੧॥
पूरन जा के भागा ॥१॥
Pūran jā ke bẖāgā. ||1||
whose destiny is perfect. ||1||
|
ਮਿਲਿ ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿ ਹਰਿ ਧਿਆਇਆ ॥
मिलि साधसंगि हरि धिआइआ ॥
Mil sāḏẖsang har ḏẖi▫ā▫i▫ā.
Joining the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, I meditate on the Lord.

ਆਠ ਪਹਰ ਅਰਾਧਿਓ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਮਨ ਚਿੰਦਿਆ ਫਲੁ ਪਾਇਆ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
आठ पहर अराधिओ हरि हरि मन चिंदिआ फलु पाइआ ॥ रहाउ ॥
Āṯẖ pahar arāḏẖi▫o har har man cẖinḏi▫ā fal pā▫i▫ā. Rahā▫o.
Twenty-four hours a day, I worship and adore the Lord, Har, Har; I have obtained the fruits of my mind's desires. ||Pause||
|
ਪਰਾ ਪੂਰਬਲਾ ਅੰਕੁਰੁ ਜਾਗਿਆ ॥
परा पूरबला अंकुरु जागिआ ॥
Parā pūrbalā ankur jāgi▫ā.
The seeds of my past actions have sprouted.
|
ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮਿ ਮਨੁ ਲਾਗਿਆ ॥
राम नामि मनु लागिआ ॥
Rām nām man lāgi▫ā.
My mind is attached to the Lord's Name.
|
ਮਨਿ ਤਨਿ ਹਰਿ ਦਰਸਿ ਸਮਾਵੈ ॥
मनि तनि हरि दरसि समावै ॥
Man ṯan har ḏaras samāvai.
My mind and body are absorbed into the Blessed Vision of the Lord's Darshan.

ਨਾਨਕ ਦਾਸ ਸਚੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵੈ ॥੨॥੮॥੭੨॥
नानक दास सचे गुण गावै ॥२॥८॥७२॥
Nānak ḏās sacẖe guṇ gāvai. ||2||8||72||
Slave Nanak sings the Glorious Praises of the True Lord. ||2||8||72||

ਗੁਰ ਮਿਲਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਚਿਤਾਰਿਆ ॥
गुर मिलि प्रभू चितारिआ ॥
Gur mil parabẖū cẖiṯāri▫ā.
Meeting with the Guru, I contemplate God.
|
ਕਾਰਜ ਸਭਿ ਸਵਾਰਿਆ ॥
कारज सभि सवारिआ ॥
Kāraj sabẖ savāri▫ā.
All of my affairs have been resolved.
|
ਮੰਦਾ ਕੋ ਨ ਅਲਾਏ ॥
मंदा को न अलाए ॥
Manḏā ko na alā▫e.
No one speaks ill of me.
|
ਸਭ ਜੈ ਜੈ ਕਾਰੁ ਸੁਣਾਏ ॥੧॥
सभ जै जै कारु सुणाए ॥१॥
Sabẖ jai jai kār suṇā▫e. ||1||
Everyone congratulates me on my victory. ||1||
|
ਸੰਤਹੁ ਸਾਚੀ ਸਰਣਿ ਸੁਆਮੀ ॥
संतहु साची सरणि सुआमी ॥
Sanṯahu sācẖī saraṇ su▫āmī.
O Saints, I seek the True Sanctuary of the Lord and Master.

ਜੀਅ ਜੰਤ ਸਭਿ ਹਾਥਿ ਤਿਸੈ ਕੈ ਸੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
जीअ जंत सभि हाथि तिसै कै सो प्रभु अंतरजामी ॥ रहाउ ॥
Jī▫a janṯ sabẖ hāth ṯisai kai so parabẖ anṯarjāmī. Rahā▫o.
All beings and creatures are in His hands; He is God, the Inner-knower, the Searcher of hearts. ||Pause||

ਕਰਤਬ ਸਭਿ ਸਵਾਰੇ ॥
करतब सभि सवारे ॥
Karṯab sabẖ savāre.
He has resolved all of my affairs.
|
ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਅਪੁਨਾ ਬਿਰਦੁ ਸਮਾਰੇ ॥
प्रभि अपुना बिरदु समारे ॥
Parabẖ apunā biraḏ samāre.
God has confirmed His innate nature.
|
ਪਤਿਤ ਪਾਵਨ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਨਾਮਾ ॥
पतित पावन प्रभ नामा ॥
Paṯiṯ pāvan parabẖ nāmā.
God's Name is the Purifier of sinners.
|
ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਦ ਕੁਰਬਾਨਾ ॥੨॥੯॥੭੩॥
जन नानक सद कुरबाना ॥२॥९॥७३॥
Jan Nānak saḏ kurbānā. ||2||9||73||
Servant Nanak is forever a sacrifice to Him. ||2||9||73||

Pārbarahm sāj savāri▫ā.
The Supreme Lord God created and embellished him.
|
ਇਹੁ ਲਹੁੜਾ ਗੁਰੂ ਉਬਾਰਿਆ ॥
इहु लहुड़ा गुरू उबारिआ ॥
Ih lahuṛā gurū ubāri▫ā.
The Guru has saved this small child.
|
ਅਨਦ ਕਰਹੁ ਪਿਤ ਮਾਤਾ ॥
अनद करहु पित माता ॥
Anaḏ karahu piṯ māṯā.
So celebrate and be happy, father and mother.
|
ਪਰਮੇਸਰੁ ਜੀਅ ਕਾ ਦਾਤਾ ॥੧॥
परमेसरु जीअ का दाता ॥१॥
Parmesar jī▫a kā ḏāṯā. ||1||
The Transcendent Lord is the Giver of souls. ||1||
|
ਸੁਭ ਚਿਤਵਨਿ ਦਾਸ ਤੁਮਾਰੇ ॥
सुभ चितवनि दास तुमारे ॥
Subẖ cẖiṯvan ḏās ṯumāre.
Your slaves, O Lord, focus on pure thoughts.
|
ਰਾਖਹਿ ਪੈਜ ਦਾਸ ਅਪੁਨੇ ਕੀ ਕਾਰਜ ਆਪਿ ਸਵਾਰੇ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
राखहि पैज दास अपुने की कारज आपि सवारे ॥ रहाउ ॥
Rākẖahi paij ḏās apune kī kāraj āp savāre. Rahā▫o.
You preserve the honor of Your slaves, and You Yourself arrange their affairs. ||Pause||
|
ਮੇਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਪਰਉਪਕਾਰੀ ॥
मेरा प्रभु परउपकारी ॥
Merā parabẖ par▫upkārī.
My God is so benevolent.
|
ਪੂਰਨ ਕਲ ਜਿਨਿ ਧਾਰੀ ॥
पूरन कल जिनि धारी ॥
Pūran kal jin ḏẖārī.
His Almighty Power is manifest.
|
ਨਾਨਕ ਸਰਣੀ ਆਇਆ ॥
नानक सरणी आइआ ॥
Nānak sarṇī ā▫i▫ā.
Nanak has come to His Sanctuary.
|
ਮਨ ਚਿੰਦਿਆ ਫਲੁ ਪਾਇਆ ॥੨॥੧੦॥੭੪॥
मन चिंदिआ फलु पाइआ ॥२॥१०॥७४॥
Man cẖinḏi▫ā fal pā▫i▫ā. ||2||10||74||
He has obtained the fruits of his mind's desires. ||2||10||74||

ਸਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਹਰਿ ਜਾਪੇ ॥
सदा सदा हरि जापे ॥
Saḏā saḏā har jāpe.
Forever and ever, I chant the Lord's Name.
|
ਪ੍ਰਭ ਬਾਲਕ ਰਾਖੇ ਆਪੇ ॥
प्रभ बालक राखे आपे ॥
Parabẖ bālak rākẖe āpe.
God Himself has saved my child.
|
ਸੀਤਲਾ ਠਾਕਿ ਰਹਾਈ ॥
सीतला ठाकि रहाई ॥
Sīṯlā ṯẖāk rahā▫ī.
He healed him from the smallpox.
|
ਬਿਘਨ ਗਏ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਈ ॥੧॥
बिघन गए हरि नाई ॥१॥
Bigẖan ga▫e har nā▫ī. ||1||
My troubles have been removed through the Lord's Name. ||1||
|
ਮੇਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਹੋਆ ਸਦਾ ਦਇਆਲਾ ॥
मेरा प्रभु होआ सदा दइआला ॥
Merā parabẖ ho▫ā saḏā ḏa▫i▫ālā.
My God is forever Merciful.
|
ਅਰਦਾਸਿ ਸੁਣੀ ਭਗਤ ਅਪੁਨੇ ਕੀ ਸਭ ਜੀਅ ਭਇਆ ਕਿਰਪਾਲਾ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
अरदासि सुणी भगत अपुने की सभ जीअ भइआ किरपाला ॥ रहाउ ॥
Arḏās suṇī bẖagaṯ apune kī sabẖ jī▫a bẖa▫i▫ā kirpālā. Rahā▫o.
He heard the prayer of His devotee, and now all beings are kind and compassionate to him. ||Pause||
|
ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕਰਣ ਕਾਰਣ ਸਮਰਾਥਾ ॥
प्रभ करण कारण समराथा ॥
Parabẖ karaṇ kāraṇ samrāthā.
God is Almighty, the Cause of causes.
|
ਹਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਤ ਸਭੁ ਦੁਖੁ ਲਾਥਾ ॥
हरि सिमरत सभु दुखु लाथा ॥
Har simraṯ sabẖ ḏukẖ lāthā.
Remembering the Lord in meditation, all pains and sorrows vanish.
|
ਅਪਣੇ ਦਾਸ ਕੀ ਸੁਣੀ ਬੇਨੰਤੀ ॥
अपणे दास की सुणी बेनंती ॥
Apṇe ḏās kī suṇī benanṯī.
He has heard the prayer of His slave.
|
ਸਭ ਨਾਨਕ ਸੁਖਿ ਸਵੰਤੀ ॥੨॥੧੧॥੭੫॥
सभ नानक सुखि सवंती ॥२॥११॥७५॥
Sabẖ Nānak sukẖ savanṯī. ||2||11||75||
O Nanak, now everyone sleeps in peace. ||2||11||75||

ਅਪਨਾ ਗੁਰੂ ਧਿਆਏ ॥

Apnā gurū ḏẖi▫ā▫e.
I meditated on my Guru.

ਮਿਲਿ ਕੁਸਲ ਸੇਤੀ ਘਰਿ ਆਏ ॥
मिलि कुसल सेती घरि आए ॥
Mil kusal seṯī gẖar ā▫e.
I met with Him, and returned home in joy.
|
ਨਾਮੈ ਕੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ॥
नामै की वडिआई ॥
Nāmai kī vadi▫ā▫ī.
This is the glorious greatness of the Naam.
|
ਤਿਸੁ ਕੀਮਤਿ ਕਹਣੁ ਨ ਜਾਈ ॥੧॥
तिसु कीमति कहणु न जाई ॥१॥
Ŧis kīmaṯ kahaṇ na jā▫ī. ||1||
Its value cannot be estimated. ||1||
|
ਸੰਤਹੁ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਆਰਾਧਹੁ ॥
संतहु हरि हरि हरि आराधहु ॥
Sanṯahu har har har ārāḏẖahu.
O Saints, worship and adore the Lord, Har, Har, Har.
|
ਹਰਿ ਆਰਾਧਿ ਸਭੋ ਕਿਛੁ ਪਾਈਐ ਕਾਰਜ ਸਗਲੇ ਸਾਧਹੁ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
हरि आराधि सभो किछु पाईऐ कारज सगले साधहु ॥ रहाउ ॥
Har ārāḏẖ sabẖo kicẖẖ pā▫ī▫ai kāraj sagle sāḏẖahu. Rahā▫o.
Worship the Lord in adoration, and you shall obtain everything; your affairs shall all be resolved. ||Pause||

ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਭਗਤਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਲਾਗੀ ॥
प्रेम भगति प्रभ लागी ॥
Parem bẖagaṯ parabẖ lāgī.
He alone is attached in loving devotion to God,
|
ਸੋ ਪਾਏ ਜਿਸੁ ਵਡਭਾਗੀ ॥
सो पाए जिसु वडभागी ॥
So pā▫e jis vadbẖāgī.
who realizes his great destiny.
|
ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਇਆ ॥
जन नानक नामु धिआइआ ॥
Jan Nānak nām ḏẖi▫ā▫i▫ā.
Servant Nanak meditates on the Naam, the Name of the Lord.
|
ਤਿਨਿ ਸਰਬ ਸੁਖਾ ਫਲ ਪਾਇਆ ॥੨॥੧੨॥੭੬॥
तिनि सरब सुखा फल पाइआ ॥२॥१२॥७६॥
Ŧin sarab sukẖā fal pā▫i▫ā. ||2||12||76||
He obtains the rewards of all joys and peace. ||2||12||76||

The Transcendent Lord has given me His support.

ਦੁਖ ਰੋਗ ਕਾ ਡੇਰਾ ਭੰਨਾ ॥
दुख रोग का डेरा भंना ॥
Ḏukẖ rog kā derā bẖannā.
The house of pain and disease has been demolished.
|
ਅਨਦ ਕਰਹਿ ਨਰ ਨਾਰੀ ॥
अनद करहि नर नारी ॥
Anaḏ karahi nar nārī.
The men and women celebrate.
|
ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਧਾਰੀ ॥੧॥
हरि हरि प्रभि किरपा धारी ॥१॥
Har har parabẖ kirpā ḏẖārī. ||1||
The Lord God, Har, Har, has extended His Mercy. ||1||
