ਪੂਰਨ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਪਰਮੇਸੁਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਸਦਾ ਧਿਆਈਐ ॥੧॥
पूरन पारब्रहम परमेसुर मेरे मन सदा धिआईऐ ॥१॥
Pūran pārbarahm parmesur mere man saḏā ḏẖi▫ā▫ī▫ai. ||1||
O my mind, meditate forever on the Perfect, Supreme Lord God, the Transcendent Lord. ||1||

ਸਿਮਰਹੁ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਪਰਾਨੀ
सिमरहु हरि हरि नामु परानी ॥
Simrahu har har nām parānī.
Meditate in remembrance on the Name of the Lord, Har, Har, O mortal.

ਬਿਨਸੈ ਕਾਚੀ ਦੇਹ ਅਗਿਆਨੀ ਰਹਾਉ
बिनसै काची देह अगिआनी ॥ रहाउ ॥
Binsai kācẖī ḏeh agi▫ānī. Rahā▫o.
Your frail body shall perish, you ignorant fool. ||Pause||

ਮ੍ਰਿਗ ਤ੍ਰਿਸਨਾ ਅਰੁ ਸੁਪਨ ਮਨੋਰਥ ਤਾ ਕੀ ਕਛੁ ਵਡਾਈ
म्रिग त्रिसना अरु सुपन मनोरथ ता की कछु न वडाई ॥
Marig ṯarisnā ar supan manorath ṯā kī kacẖẖ na vadā▫ī.
Illusions and dream-objects possess nothing of greatness.

ਰਾਮ ਭਜਨ ਬਿਨੁ ਕਾਮਿ ਆਵਸਿ ਸੰਗਿ ਕਾਹੂ ਜਾਈ ॥੨॥
राम भजन बिनु कामि न आवसि संगि न काहू जाई ॥२॥
Rām bẖajan bin kām na āvas sang na kāhū jā▫ī. ||2||
Without meditating on the Lord, nothing succeeds, and nothing will go along with you. ||2||

ਹਉ ਹਉ ਕਰਤ ਬਿਹਾਇ ਅਵਰਦਾ ਜੀਅ ਕੋ ਕਾਮੁ ਕੀਨਾ
हउ हउ करत बिहाइ अवरदा जीअ को कामु न कीना ॥
Ha▫o ha▫o karaṯ bihā▫e avraḏā jī▫a ko kām na kīnā.
Acting in egotism and pride, his life passes away, and he does nothing for his soul.

ਧਾਵਤ ਧਾਵਤ ਨਹ ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤਾਸਿਆ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮੁ ਨਹੀ ਚੀਨਾ ॥੩॥
धावत धावत नह त्रिपतासिआ राम नामु नही चीना ॥३॥
Ḏẖāvaṯ ḏẖāvaṯ nah ṯaripṯāsi▫ā rām nām nahī cẖīnā. ||3||
Wandering and wandering all around, he is never satisfied; he does not remember the Name of the Lord. ||3||

ਸਾਦ ਬਿਕਾਰ ਬਿਖੈ ਰਸ ਮਾਤੋ ਅਸੰਖ ਖਤੇ ਕਰਿ ਫੇਰੇ
साद बिकार बिखै रस मातो असंख खते करि फेरे ॥
Sāḏ bikār bikẖai ras māṯo asaʼnkẖ kẖaṯe kar fere.
Intoxicated with the taste of corruption, cruel pleasures and countless sins, he is consigned to the cycle of reincarnation.

ਨਾਨਕ ਕੀ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਪਾਹਿ ਬਿਨੰਤੀ ਕਾਟਹੁ ਅਵਗੁਣ ਮੇਰੇ ॥੪॥੧੧॥੨੨॥
नानक की प्रभ पाहि बिनंती काटहु अवगुण मेरे ॥४॥११॥२२॥
Nānak kī parabẖ pāhi binanṯī kātahu avguṇ mere. ||4||11||22||
Nanak offers his prayer to God, to eradicate his demerits. ||4||11||22||

ਸੋਰਠਿ ਮਹਲਾ
सोरठि महला ५ ॥
Soraṯẖ mėhlā 5.
Sorat'h, Fifth Mehl:

ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵਹੁ ਪੂਰਨ ਅਬਿਨਾਸੀ ਕਾਮ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਬਿਖੁ ਜਾਰੇ
गुण गावहु पूरन अबिनासी काम क्रोध बिखु जारे ॥
Guṇ gāvhu pūran abẖināsī kām kroḏẖ bikẖ jāre.
Sing the Glorious Praises of the Perfect, Imperishable Lord, and the poison of sexual desire and anger shall be burnt away.

ਮਹਾ ਬਿਖਮੁ ਅਗਨਿ ਕੋ ਸਾਗਰੁ ਸਾਧੂ ਸੰਗਿ ਉਧਾਰੇ ॥੧॥
महा बिखमु अगनि को सागरु साधू संगि उधारे ॥१॥
Mahā bikẖam agan ko sāgar sāḏẖū sang uḏẖāre. ||1||
You shall cross over the awesome, arduous ocean of fire, in the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy. ||1||

ਪੂਰੈ ਗੁਰਿ ਮੇਟਿਓ ਭਰਮੁ ਅੰਧੇਰਾ
पूरै गुरि मेटिओ भरमु अंधेरा ॥
Pūrai gur meti▫o bẖaram anḏẖerā.
The Perfect Guru has dispelled the darkness of doubt.

ਭਜੁ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਭਗਤਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਨੇਰਾ ਰਹਾਉ
भजु प्रेम भगति प्रभु नेरा ॥ रहाउ ॥
Bẖaj parem bẖagaṯ parabẖ nerā. Rahā▫o.
Remember God with love and devotion; He is near at hand. ||Pause||

ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਨਿਧਾਨ ਰਸੁ ਪੀਆ ਮਨ ਤਨ ਰਹੇ ਅਘਾਈ
हरि हरि नामु निधान रसु पीआ मन तन रहे अघाई ॥
Har har nām niḏẖān ras pī▫ā man ṯan rahe agẖā▫ī.
Drink in the sublime essence, the treasure of the Name of the Lord, Har, Har, and your mind and body shall remain satisfied.

ਜਤ ਕਤ ਪੂਰਿ ਰਹਿਓ ਪਰਮੇਸਰੁ ਕਤ ਆਵੈ ਕਤ ਜਾਈ ॥੨॥
जत कत पूरि रहिओ परमेसरु कत आवै कत जाई ॥२॥
Jaṯ kaṯ pūr rahi▫o parmesar kaṯ āvai kaṯ jā▫ī. ||2||
The Transcendent Lord is totally permeating and pervading everywhere; where would He come from, and where would He go? ||2||

ਜਪ ਤਪ ਸੰਜਮ ਗਿਆਨ ਤਤ ਬੇਤਾ ਜਿਸੁ ਮਨਿ ਵਸੈ ਗੋੁਪਾਲਾ
जप तप संजम गिआन तत बेता जिसु मनि वसै गोपाला ॥
Jap ṯap sanjam gi▫ān ṯaṯ beṯā jis man vasai gopālā.
One whose mind is filled with the Lord, is a person of meditation, penance, self-restraint and spiritual wisdom, and a knower of reality.

ਨਾਮੁ ਰਤਨੁ ਜਿਨਿ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਪਾਇਆ ਤਾ ਕੀ ਪੂਰਨ ਘਾਲਾ ॥੩॥
नामु रतनु जिनि गुरमुखि पाइआ ता की पूरन घाला ॥३॥
Nām raṯan jin gurmukẖ pā▫i▫ā ṯā kī pūran gẖālā. ||3||
The Gurmukh obtains the jewel of the Naam; his efforts come to perfect fruition. ||3||

ਕਲਿ ਕਲੇਸ ਮਿਟੇ ਦੁਖ ਸਗਲੇ ਕਾਟੀ ਜਮ ਕੀ ਫਾਸਾ
कलि कलेस मिटे दुख सगले काटी जम की फासा ॥
Kal kales mite ḏukẖ sagle kātī jam kī fāsā.
All his struggles, sufferings and pains are dispelled, and the noose of death is cut away from him.

ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਧਾਰੀ ਮਨ ਤਨ ਭਏ ਬਿਗਾਸਾ ॥੪॥੧੨॥੨੩॥
कहु नानक प्रभि किरपा धारी मन तन भए बिगासा ॥४॥१२॥२३॥
Kaho Nānak parabẖ kirpā ḏẖārī man ṯan bẖa▫e bigāsā. ||4||12||23||
Says Nanak, God has extended His Mercy, and so his mind and body blossom forth. ||4||12||23||

ਸੋਰਠਿ ਮਹਲਾ
सोरठि महला ५ ॥
Soraṯẖ mėhlā 5.
Sorat'h, Fifth Mehl:

ਕਰਣ ਕਰਾਵਣਹਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਦਾਤਾ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਸੁਆਮੀ
करण करावणहार प्रभु दाता पारब्रहम प्रभु सुआमी ॥
Karaṇ karāvaṇhār parabẖ ḏāṯā pārbarahm parabẖ su▫āmī.
God is the Doer, the Cause of causes, the Great Giver; God is the Supreme Lord and Master.

ਸਗਲੇ ਜੀਅ ਕੀਏ ਦਇਆਲਾ ਸੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ ॥੧॥
सगले जीअ कीए दइआला सो प्रभु अंतरजामी ॥१॥
Sagle jī▫a kī▫e ḏa▫i▫ālā so parabẖ anṯarjāmī. ||1||
The Merciful Lord created all beings; God is the Inner-knower, the Searcher of hearts. ||1||

ਮੇਰਾ ਗੁਰੁ ਹੋਆ ਆਪਿ ਸਹਾਈ
मेरा गुरु होआ आपि सहाई ॥
Merā gur ho▫ā āp sahā▫ī.
My Guru is Himself my friend and support.

ਸੂਖ ਸਹਜ ਆਨੰਦ ਮੰਗਲ ਰਸ ਅਚਰਜ ਭਈ ਬਡਾਈ ਰਹਾਉ
सूख सहज आनंद मंगल रस अचरज भई बडाई ॥ रहाउ ॥
Sūkẖ sahj ānanḏ mangal ras acẖraj bẖa▫ī badā▫ī. Rahā▫o.
I am in celestial peace, bliss, joy, pleasure and wondrous glory. ||Pause||

ਗੁਰ ਕੀ ਸਰਣਿ ਪਏ ਭੈ ਨਾਸੇ ਸਾਚੀ ਦਰਗਹ ਮਾਨੇ
गुर की सरणि पए भै नासे साची दरगह माने ॥
Gur kī saraṇ pa▫e bẖai nāse sācẖī ḏargėh māne.
Seeking the Sanctuary of the Guru, my fears have been dispelled, and I am accepted in the Court of the True Lord.

ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵਤ ਆਰਾਧਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਹਰਿ ਆਏ ਅਪੁਨੈ ਥਾਨੇ ॥੨॥
गुण गावत आराधि नामु हरि आए अपुनै थाने ॥२॥
Guṇ gāvaṯ ārāḏẖ nām har ā▫e apunai thāne. ||2||
Singing His Glorious Praises, and worshipping in adoration the Name of the Lord, I have reached my destination. ||2||

ਜੈ ਜੈ ਕਾਰੁ ਕਰੈ ਸਭ ਉਸਤਤਿ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਸਾਧ ਪਿਆਰੀ
जै जै कारु करै सभ उसतति संगति साध पिआरी ॥
Jai jai kār karai sabẖ usṯaṯ sangaṯ sāḏẖ pi▫ārī.
Everyone applauds and congratulates me; the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, is dear to me.

ਸਦ ਬਲਿਹਾਰਿ ਜਾਉ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਅਪੁਨੇ ਜਿਨਿ ਪੂਰਨ ਪੈਜ ਸਵਾਰੀ ॥੩॥
सद बलिहारि जाउ प्रभ अपुने जिनि पूरन पैज सवारी ॥३॥
Saḏ balihār jā▫o parabẖ apune jin pūran paij savārī. ||3||
I am forever a sacrifice to my God, who has totally protected and preserved my honor. ||3||

ਗੋਸਟਿ ਗਿਆਨੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਸੁਣਿ ਉਧਰੇ ਜਿਨਿ ਜਿਨਿ ਦਰਸਨੁ ਪਾਇਆ
गोसटि गिआनु नामु सुणि उधरे जिनि जिनि दरसनु पाइआ ॥
Gosat gi▫ān nām suṇ uḏẖre jin jin ḏarsan pā▫i▫ā.
They are saved, who receive the Blessed Vision of His Darshan; they listen to the spiritual dialogue of the Naam.

ਭਇਓ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਲੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਅਪੁਨਾ ਅਨਦ ਸੇਤੀ ਘਰਿ ਆਇਆ ॥੪॥੧੩॥੨੪॥
भइओ क्रिपालु नानक प्रभु अपुना अनद सेती घरि आइआ ॥४॥१३॥२४॥
Bẖa▫i▫o kirpāl Nānak parabẖ apunā anaḏ seṯī gẖar ā▫i▫ā. ||4||13||24||
Nanak's God has become Merciful to him; he has arrived home in ecstasy. ||4||13||24||

ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੀ ਸਰਣਿ ਸਗਲ ਭੈ ਲਾਥੇ ਦੁਖ ਬਿਨਸੇ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਇਆ
प्रभ की सरणि सगल भै लाथे दुख बिनसे सुखु पाइआ ॥
Parabẖ kī saraṇ sagal bẖai lāthe ḏukẖ binse sukẖ pā▫i▫ā.
In God's Sanctuary, all fears depart, suffering disappears, and peace is obtained.

ਦਇਆਲੁ ਹੋਆ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਪੂਰਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਧਿਆਇਆ ॥੧॥
दइआलु होआ पारब्रहमु सुआमी पूरा सतिगुरु धिआइआ ॥१॥
Ḏa▫i▫āl ho▫ā pārbarahm su▫āmī pūrā saṯgur ḏẖi▫ā▫i▫ā. ||1||
When the Supreme Lord God and Master becomes merciful, we meditate on the Perfect True Guru. ||1||

ਪ੍ਰਭ ਜੀਉ ਤੂ ਮੇਰੋ ਸਾਹਿਬੁ ਦਾਤਾ
प्रभ जीउ तू मेरो साहिबु दाता ॥
Parabẖ jī▫o ṯū mero sāhib ḏāṯā.
O Dear God, You are my Lord Master and Great Giver.

ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਦੀਨ ਦਇਆਲਾ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵਉ ਰੰਗਿ ਰਾਤਾ ਰਹਾਉ
करि किरपा प्रभ दीन दइआला गुण गावउ रंगि राता ॥ रहाउ ॥
Kar kirpā parabẖ ḏīn ḏa▫i▫ālā guṇ gāva▫o rang rāṯā. Rahā▫o.
By Your Mercy, O God, Merciful to the meek, imbue me with Your Love, that I might sing Your Glorious Praises. ||Pause||

ਸਤਿਗੁਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਨਿਧਾਨੁ ਦ੍ਰਿੜਾਇਆ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਸਗਲ ਬਿਨਾਸੀ
सतिगुरि नामु निधानु द्रिड़ाइआ चिंता सगल बिनासी ॥
Saṯgur nām niḏẖān driṛ▫ā▫i▫ā cẖinṯā sagal bināsī.
The True Guru has implanted the treasure of the Naam within me, and all my anxieties have been dispelled.
