ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਤਿਸੁ ਜਨ ਬਲਿਹਾਰੀ ਤੇਰਾ ਦਾਨੁ ਸਭਨੀ ਹੈ ਲੀਤਾ ॥੨॥
Kaho Nānak ṯis jan balihārī ṯerā ḏān sabẖnī hai līṯā. ||2||
Says Nanak, I am a sacrifice to such a humble being. O Lord, You bless all with Your bountiful blessings. ||2||

ਤਉ ਭਾਣਾ ਤਾਂ ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਅਘਾਏ ਰਾਮ ॥
Ŧa▫o bẖāṇā ṯāʼn ṯaripaṯ agẖā▫e rām.
When it pleases You, then I am satisfied and satiated.

ਮਨੁ ਥੀਆ ਠੰਢਾ ਸਭ ਤ੍ਰਿਸਨ ਬੁਝਾਏ ਰਾਮ ॥
Man thī▫ā ṯẖandẖā sabẖ ṯarisan bujẖā▫e rām.
My mind is soothed and calmed, and all my thirst is quenched.
|
ਮਨੁ ਥੀਆ ਠੰਢਾ ਚੂਕੀ ਡੰਝਾ ਪਾਇਆ ਬਹੁਤੁ ਖਜਾਨਾ ॥
Man thī▫ā ṯẖandẖā cẖūkī danjẖā pā▫i▫ā bahuṯ kẖajānā.
My mind is soothed and calmed, the burning has ceased, and I have found so many treasures.

ਸਿਖ ਸੇਵਕ ਸਭਿ ਭੁੰਚਣ ਲਗੇ ਹੰਉ ਸਤਗੁਰ ਕੈ ਕੁਰਬਾਨਾ ॥
Sikẖ sevak sabẖ bẖuncẖaṇ lage haʼn▫u saṯgur kai kurbānā.
All the Sikhs and servants partake of them; I am a sacrifice to my True Guru.

ਨਿਰਭਉ ਭਏ ਖਸਮ ਰੰਗਿ ਰਾਤੇ ਜਮ ਕੀ ਤ੍ਰਾਸ ਬੁਝਾਏ ॥
Nirbẖa▫o bẖa▫e kẖasam rang rāṯe jam kī ṯarās bujẖā▫e.
I have become fearless, imbued with the Love of my Lord Master, and I have shaken off the fear of death.

ਨਾਨਕ ਦਾਸੁ ਸਦਾ ਸੰਗਿ ਸੇਵਕੁ ਤੇਰੀ ਭਗਤਿ ਕਰੰਉ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਏ ॥੩॥
Nānak ḏās saḏā sang sevak ṯerī bẖagaṯ karaʼn▫o liv lā▫e. ||3||
Slave Nanak, Your humble servant, lovingly embraces Your meditation; O Lord, be with me always. ||3||

ਪੂਰੀ ਆਸਾ ਜੀ ਮਨਸਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਰਾਮ ॥
Pūrī āsā jī mansā mere rām.
My hopes and desires have been fulfilled, O my Lord.
|
ਮੋਹਿ ਨਿਰਗੁਣ ਜੀਉ ਸਭਿ ਗੁਣ ਤੇਰੇ ਰਾਮ ॥
Mohi nirguṇ jī▫o sabẖ guṇ ṯere rām.
I am worthless, without virtue; all virtues are Yours, O Lord.

ਸਭਿ ਗੁਣ ਤੇਰੇ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਕਿਤੁ ਮੁਖਿ ਤੁਧੁ ਸਾਲਾਹੀ ॥
Sabẖ guṇ ṯere ṯẖākur mere kiṯ mukẖ ṯuḏẖ sālāhī.
All virtues are Yours, O my Lord and Master; with what mouth should I praise You?

ਗੁਣੁ ਅਵਗੁਣੁ ਮੇਰਾ ਕਿਛੁ ਨ ਬੀਚਾਰਿਆ ਬਖਸਿ ਲੀਆ ਖਿਨ ਮਾਹੀ ॥
Guṇ avguṇ merā kicẖẖ na bīcẖāri▫ā bakẖas lī▫ā kẖin māhī.
You did not consider my merits and demerits; you forgave me in an instant.

ਨਉ ਨਿਧਿ ਪਾਈ ਵਜੀ ਵਾਧਾਈ ਵਾਜੇ ਅਨਹਦ ਤੂਰੇ ॥
Na▫o niḏẖ pā▫ī vajī vāḏẖā▫ī vāje anhaḏ ṯūre.
I have obtained the nine treasures, congratulations are pouring in, and the unstruck melody resounds.

ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਮੈ ਵਰੁ ਘਰਿ ਪਾਇਆ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਾਥੇ ਜੀ ਸਗਲ ਵਿਸੂਰੇ ॥੪॥੧॥
Kaho Nānak mai var gẖar pā▫i▫ā mere lāthe jī sagal visūre. ||4||1||
Says Nanak, I have found my Husband Lord within my own home, and all my anxiety is forgotten. ||4||1||

ਕਿਆ ਸੁਣੇਦੋ ਕੂੜੁ ਵੰਞਨਿ ਪਵਣ ਝੁਲਾਰਿਆ ॥
Ki▫ā suṇeḏo kūṛ vañan pavaṇ jẖulāri▫ā.
Why do you listen to falsehood? It shall vanish like a gust of wind.

ਨਾਨਕ ਸੁਣੀਅਰ ਤੇ ਪਰਵਾਣੁ ਜੋ ਸੁਣੇਦੇ ਸਚੁ ਧਣੀ ॥੧॥
Nānak suṇī▫ar ṯe parvāṇ jo suṇeḏe sacẖ ḏẖaṇī. ||1||
O Nanak, those ears are acceptable, which listen to the True Master. ||1||

ਤਿਨ ਘੋਲਿ ਘੁਮਾਈ ਜਿਨ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਸ੍ਰਵਣੀ ਸੁਣਿਆ ਰਾਮ ॥
Ŧin gẖol gẖumā▫ī jin parabẖ sarvaṇī suṇi▫ā rām.
I am a sacrifice to those who listen with their ears to the Lord God.

ਸੇ ਸਹਜਿ ਸੁਹੇਲੇ ਜਿਨ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਰਸਨਾ ਭਣਿਆ ਰਾਮ ॥
Se sahj suhele jin har har rasnā bẖaṇi▫ā rām.
Blissful and comfortable are those, who with their tongues chant the Name of the Lord, Har, Har.

ਸੇ ਸਹਜਿ ਸੁਹੇਲੇ ਗੁਣਹ ਅਮੋਲੇ ਜਗਤ ਉਧਾਰਣ ਆਏ ॥
Se sahj suhele guṇah amole jagaṯ uḏẖāraṇ ā▫e.
They are naturally embellished, with priceless virtues; they have come to save the world.
|
ਭੈ ਬੋਹਿਥ ਸਾਗਰ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਚਰਣਾ ਕੇਤੇ ਪਾਰਿ ਲਘਾਏ ॥
Bẖai bohith sāgar parabẖ cẖarṇā keṯe pār lagẖā▫e.
God's Feet are the boat, which carries so many across the terrifying world-ocean.

ਜਿਨ ਕੰਉ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕਰੀ ਮੇਰੈ ਠਾਕੁਰਿ ਤਿਨ ਕਾ ਲੇਖਾ ਨ ਗਣਿਆ ॥
Jin kaʼn▫u kirpā karī merai ṯẖākur ṯin kā lekẖā na gaṇi▫ā.
Those who are blessed with the favor of my Lord and Master, are not asked to render their account.

ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਤਿਸੁ ਘੋਲਿ ਘੁਮਾਈ ਜਿਨਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਸ੍ਰਵਣੀ ਸੁਣਿਆ ॥੧॥
Kaho Nānak ṯis gẖol gẖumā▫ī jin parabẖ sarvaṇī suṇi▫ā. ||1||
Says Nanak, I am a sacrifice to those who listen to God with their ears. ||1||

ਲੋਇਣ ਲੋਈ ਡਿਠ ਪਿਆਸ ਨ ਬੁਝੈ ਮੂ ਘਣੀ ॥
Lo▫iṇ lo▫ī diṯẖ pi▫ās na bujẖai mū gẖaṇī.
With my eyes, I have seen the Light of the Lord, but my great thirst is not quenched.

ਨਾਨਕ ਸੇ ਅਖੜੀਆਂ ਬਿਅੰਨਿ ਜਿਨੀ ਡਿਸੰਦੋ ਮਾ ਪਿਰੀ ॥੧॥
Nānak se akẖ▫ṛī▫āʼn bi▫ann jinī disanḏo mā pirī. ||1||
O Nanak, those eyes are different, which behold my Husband Lord. ||1||

ਜਿਨੀ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਡਿਠਾ ਤਿਨ ਕੁਰਬਾਣੇ ਰਾਮ ॥
Jinī har parabẖ diṯẖā ṯin kurbāṇe rām.
I am a sacrifice to those who have seen the Lord God.
|
ਸੇ ਸਾਚੀ ਦਰਗਹ ਭਾਣੇ ਰਾਮ ॥
Se sācẖī ḏargėh bẖāṇe rām.
In the True Court of the Lord, they are approved.
|
ਠਾਕੁਰਿ ਮਾਨੇ ਸੇ ਪਰਧਾਨੇ ਹਰਿ ਸੇਤੀ ਰੰਗਿ ਰਾਤੇ ॥
Ŧẖākur māne se parḏẖāne har seṯī rang rāṯe.
They are approved by their Lord and Master, and acclaimed as supreme; they are imbued with the Lord's Love.

ਹਰਿ ਰਸਹਿ ਅਘਾਏ ਸਹਜਿ ਸਮਾਏ ਘਟਿ ਘਟਿ ਰਮਈਆ ਜਾਤੇ ॥
Har rasėh agẖā▫e sahj samā▫e gẖat gẖat rama▫ī▫ā jāṯe.
They are satiated with the sublime essence of the Lord, and they merge in celestial peace; in each and every heart, they see the all-pervading Lord.

ਸੇਈ ਸਜਣ ਸੰਤ ਸੇ ਸੁਖੀਏ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਅਪਣੇ ਭਾਣੇ ॥
Se▫ī sajaṇ sanṯ se sukẖī▫e ṯẖākur apṇe bẖāṇe.
They alone are the friendly Saints, and they alone are happy, who are pleasing to their Lord and Master.

ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਜਿਨ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਡਿਠਾ ਤਿਨ ਕੈ ਸਦ ਕੁਰਬਾਣੇ ॥੨॥
Kaho Nānak jin har parabẖ diṯẖā ṯin kai saḏ kurbāṇe. ||2||
Says Nanak, I am forever a sacrifice to those who have seen the Lord God. ||2||

ਦੇਹ ਅੰਧਾਰੀ ਅੰਧ ਸੁੰਞੀ ਨਾਮ ਵਿਹੂਣੀਆ ॥
Ḏeh anḏẖārī anḏẖ suñī nām vihūṇī▫ā.
The body is blind, totally blind and desolate, without the Naam.

ਨਾਨਕ ਸਫਲ ਜਨੰਮੁ ਜੈ ਘਟਿ ਵੁਠਾ ਸਚੁ ਧਣੀ ॥੧॥
Nānak safal jannam jai gẖat vuṯẖā sacẖ ḏẖaṇī. ||1||
O Nanak, fruitful is the life of that being, within whose heart the True Lord and Master abides. ||1||

Ŧin kẖannī▫ai vañāʼn jin merā har parabẖ dīṯẖā rām.
I am cut into pieces as a sacrifice, to those who have seen my Lord God.

ਜਨ ਚਾਖਿ ਅਘਾਣੇ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਮੀਠਾ ਰਾਮ ॥
Jan cẖākẖ agẖāṇe har har amriṯ mīṯẖā rām.
His humble servants partake of the Sweet Ambrosial Nectar of the Lord, Har, Har, and are satiated.
|
ਹਰਿ ਮਨਹਿ ਮੀਠਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਤੂਠਾ ਅਮਿਉ ਵੂਠਾ ਸੁਖ ਭਏ ॥
Har manėh mīṯẖā parabẖū ṯūṯẖā ami▫o vūṯẖā sukẖ bẖa▫e.
The Lord seems sweet to their minds; God is merciful to them, His Ambrosial Nectar rains down upon them, and they are at peace.

ਦੁਖ ਨਾਸ ਭਰਮ ਬਿਨਾਸ ਤਨ ਤੇ ਜਪਿ ਜਗਦੀਸ ਈਸਹ ਜੈ ਜਏ ॥
Ḏukẖ nās bẖaram binās ṯan ṯe jap jagḏīs īsah jai ja▫e.
Pain is eliminated and doubt is dispelled from the body; chanting the Name of the Lord of the World, their victory is celebrated.

ਮੋਹ ਰਹਤ ਬਿਕਾਰ ਥਾਕੇ ਪੰਚ ਤੇ ਸੰਗੁ ਤੂਟਾ ॥
Moh rahaṯ bikār thāke pancẖ ṯe sang ṯūtā.
They are rid of emotional attachment, their sins are erased, and their association with the five passions is broken off.
