जिनी दरसनु जिनी दरसनु सतिगुर पुरख न पाइआ राम ॥
Jinī ḏarsan jinī ḏarsan saṯgur purakẖ na pā▫i▫ā rām.
Those who have not obtained the Blessed Vision, the Blessed Vision of the Darshan of the True Guru, the Almighty Lord God,

ਤਿਨ ਨਿਹਫਲੁ ਤਿਨ ਨਿਹਫਲੁ ਜਨਮੁ ਸਭੁ ਬ੍ਰਿਥਾ ਗਵਾਇਆ ਰਾਮ ॥
तिन निहफलु तिन निहफलु जनमु सभु ब्रिथा गवाइआ राम ॥
Ŧin nihfal ṯin nihfal janam sabẖ baritha gavā▫i▫ā rām.
they have fruitlessly, fruitlessly wasted their whole lives in vain.

ਨਿਹਫਲੁ ਜਨਮੁ ਤਿਨ ਬ੍ਰਿਥਾ ਗਵਾਇਆ ਤੇ ਸਾਕਤ ਮੁਏ ਮਰਿ ਝੂਰੇ ॥
निहफलु जनमु तिन ब्रिथा गवाइआ ते साकत मुए मरि झूरे ॥
Nihfal janam ṯin baritha gavā▫i▫ā ṯe sākaṯ mu▫e mar jẖūre.
They have wasted away their whole lives in vain; those faithless cynics die a regretful death.

ਘਰਿ ਹੋਦੈ ਰਤਨਿ ਪਦਾਰਥਿ ਭੂਖੇ ਭਾਗਹੀਣ ਹਰਿ ਦੂਰੇ ॥
घरि होदै रतनि पदारथि भूखे भागहीण हरि दूरे ॥
Gẖar hoḏai raṯan paḏārath bẖūkẖe bẖāghīṇ har ḏūre.
They have the jewel-treasure in their own homes, but still, they are hungry; those unlucky wretches are far away from the Lord.

ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਤਿਨ ਕਾ ਦਰਸੁ ਨ ਕਰੀਅਹੁ ਜਿਨੀ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਨ ਧਿਆਇਆ ॥
हरि हरि तिन का दरसु न करीअहु जिनी हरि हरि नामु न धिआइआ ॥
Har har ṯin kā ḏaras na karī▫ahu jinī har har nām na ḏẖi▫ā▫i▫ā.
O Lord, please, let me not see those who do not meditate on the Name of the Lord, Har, Har,

ਜਿਨੀ ਦਰਸਨੁ ਜਿਨੀ ਦਰਸਨੁ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪੁਰਖ ਨ ਪਾਇਆ ॥੩॥
जिनी दरसनु जिनी दरसनु सतिगुर पुरख न पाइआ ॥३॥
Jinī ḏarsan jinī ḏarsan saṯgur purakẖ na pā▫i▫ā. ||3||
and who have not obtained the Blessed Vision, the Blessed Vision of the Darshan of the True Guru, the Almighty Lord God. ||3||

ਹਮ ਚਾਤ੍ਰਿਕ ਹਮ ਚਾਤ੍ਰਿਕ ਦੀਨ ਹਰਿ ਪਾਸਿ ਬੇਨੰਤੀ ਰਾਮ ॥
हम चात्रिक हम चात्रिक दीन हरि पासि बेनंती राम ॥
Ham cẖāṯrik ham cẖāṯrik ḏīn har pās benanṯī rām.
I am a song-bird, I am a meek song-bird; I offer my prayer to the Lord.

ਗੁਰ ਮਿਲਿ ਗੁਰ ਮੇਲਿ ਮੇਰਾ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਹਮ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਕਰਹ ਭਗਤੀ ਰਾਮ ॥
गुर मिलि गुर मेलि मेरा पिआरा हम सतिगुर करह भगती राम ॥
Gur mil gur mel merā pi▫ārā ham saṯgur karah bẖagṯī rām.
If only I could meet the Guru, meet the Guru, O my Beloved; I dedicate myself to the devotional worship of the True Guru.

ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਕਰਹ ਭਗਤੀ ਜਾਂ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਧਾਰੇ ॥
हरि हरि सतिगुर करह भगती जां हरि प्रभु किरपा धारे ॥
Har har saṯgur karah bẖagṯī jāʼn har parabẖ kirpā ḏẖāre.
I worship the Lord, Har, Har, and the True Guru; the Lord God has granted His Grace.

ਮੈ ਗੁਰ ਬਿਨੁ ਅਵਰੁ ਨ ਕੋਈ ਬੇਲੀ ਗੁਰੁ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਪ੍ਰਾਣ ਹਮ੍ਹ੍ਹਾਰੇ ॥
मै गुर बिनु अवरु न कोई बेली गुरु सतिगुरु प्राण हम्हारे ॥
Mai gur bin avar na ko▫ī belī gur saṯgur parāṇ hamĥāre.
Without the Guru, I have no other friend. The Guru, the True Guru, is my very breath of life.

ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਗੁਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਦ੍ਰਿੜ੍ਹਾਇਆ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਹਰਿ ਸਤੀ ॥
कहु नानक गुरि नामु द्रिड़्हाइआ हरि हरि नामु हरि सती ॥
Kaho Nānak gur nām ḏariṛĥā▫i▫ā har har nām har saṯī.
Says Nanak, the Guru has implanted the Naam within me; the Name of the Lord, Har, Har, the True Name.

हम चात्रिक हम चात्रिक दीन हरि पासि बेनंती ॥४॥३॥
Ham cẖāṯrik ham cẖāṯrik ḏīn har pās benanṯī. ||4||3||
I am a song-bird, I am a meek song-bird; I offer my prayer to the Lord. ||4||3||

हरि किरपा हरि किरपा करि सतिगुरु मेलि सुखदाता राम ॥
Har kirpā har kirpā kar saṯgur mel sukẖ▫ḏāṯa rām.
O Lord, show Your Mercy, show Your Mercy, and let me meet the True Guru, the Giver of peace.

ਹਮ ਪੂਛਹ ਹਮ ਪੂਛਹ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪਾਸਿ ਹਰਿ ਬਾਤਾ ਰਾਮ ॥
हम पूछह हम पूछह सतिगुर पासि हरि बाता राम ॥
Ham pūcẖẖah ham pūcẖẖah saṯgur pās har bāṯā rām.
I go and ask, I go and ask from the True Guru, about the sermon of the Lord.

ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪਾਸਿ ਹਰਿ ਬਾਤ ਪੂਛਹ ਜਿਨਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਪਦਾਰਥੁ ਪਾਇਆ ॥
सतिगुर पासि हरि बात पूछह जिनि नामु पदारथु पाइआ ॥
Saṯgur pās har bāṯ pūcẖẖah jin nām paḏārath pā▫i▫ā.
I ask about the sermon of the Lord from the True Guru, who has obtained the treasure of the Naam.

ਪਾਇ ਲਗਹ ਨਿਤ ਕਰਹ ਬਿਨੰਤੀ ਗੁਰਿ ਸਤਿਗੁਰਿ ਪੰਥੁ ਬਤਾਇਆ ॥
पाइ लगह नित करह बिनंती गुरि सतिगुरि पंथु बताइआ ॥
Pā▫e lagah niṯ karah binanṯī gur saṯgur panth baṯā▫i▫ā.
I bow at His Feet constantly, and pray to Him; the Guru, the True Guru, has shown me the Way.

ਸੋਈ ਭਗਤੁ ਦੁਖੁ ਸੁਖੁ ਸਮਤੁ ਕਰਿ ਜਾਣੈ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮਿ ਹਰਿ ਰਾਤਾ ॥
सोई भगतु दुखु सुखु समतु करि जाणै हरि हरि नामि हरि राता ॥
So▫ī bẖagaṯ ḏukẖ sukẖ samaṯ kar jāṇai har har nām har rāṯā.
He alone is a devotee, who looks alike upon pleasure and pain; he is imbued with the Name of the Lord, Har, Har.

ਹਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਹਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰਿ ਗੁਰੁ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਮੇਲਿ ਸੁਖਦਾਤਾ ॥੧॥
हरि किरपा हरि किरपा करि गुरु सतिगुरु मेलि सुखदाता ॥१॥
Har kirpā har kirpā kar gur saṯgur mel sukẖ▫ḏāṯa. ||1||
O Lord, show Your Mercy, show Your Mercy, and let me meet the True Guru, the Giver of peace. ||1||

ਸੁਣਿ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਸੁਣਿ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਨਾਮਿ ਸਭਿ ਬਿਨਸੇ ਹੰਉਮੈ ਪਾਪਾ ਰਾਮ ॥
सुणि गुरमुखि सुणि गुरमुखि नामि सभि बिनसे हंउमै पापा राम ॥
Suṇ gurmukẖ suṇ gurmukẖ nām sabẖ binse haʼn▫umai pāpā rām.
Listen as Gurmukh, listen as Gurmukh, to the Naam, the Name of the Lord; all egotism and sins are eradicated.

ਜਪਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਜਪਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਲਥਿਅੜੇ ਜਗਿ ਤਾਪਾ ਰਾਮ ॥
जपि हरि हरि जपि हरि हरि नामु लथिअड़े जगि तापा राम ॥
Jap har har jap har har nām lathi▫aṛe jag ṯāpā rām.
Chanting the Name of the Lord, Har, Har, chanting the Name of the Lord, Har, Har, the troubles of the world vanish.

ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਜਿਨੀ ਆਰਾਧਿਆ ਤਿਨ ਕੇ ਦੁਖ ਪਾਪ ਨਿਵਾਰੇ ॥
हरि हरि नामु जिनी आराधिआ तिन के दुख पाप निवारे ॥
Har har nām jinī ārāḏẖi▫ā ṯin ke ḏukẖ pāp nivāre.
Those who contemplate the Name of the Lord, Har, Har, are rid of their suffering and sins.

ਸਤਿਗੁਰਿ ਗਿਆਨ ਖੜਗੁ ਹਥਿ ਦੀਨਾ ਜਮਕੰਕਰ ਮਾਰਿ ਬਿਦਾਰੇ ॥
सतिगुरि गिआन खड़गु हथि दीना जमकंकर मारि बिदारे ॥
Saṯgur gi▫ān kẖaṛag hath ḏīnā jamkankar mār biḏāre.
The True Guru has placed the sword of spiritual wisdom in my hands; I have overcome and slain the Messenger of Death.

ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਧਾਰੀ ਸੁਖਦਾਤੇ ਦੁਖ ਲਾਥੇ ਪਾਪ ਸੰਤਾਪਾ ॥
हरि प्रभि क्रिपा धारी सुखदाते दुख लाथे पाप संतापा ॥
Har parabẖ kirpā ḏẖārī sukẖ▫ḏāṯe ḏukẖ lāthe pāp sanṯāpā.
The Lord God, the Giver of peace, has granted His Grace, and I am rid of pain, sin and disease.

ਸੁਣਿ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਸੁਣਿ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਸਭਿ ਬਿਨਸੇ ਹੰਉਮੈ ਪਾਪਾ ॥੨॥
सुणि गुरमुखि सुणि गुरमुखि नामु सभि बिनसे हंउमै पापा ॥२॥
Suṇ gurmukẖ suṇ gurmukẖ nām sabẖ binse haʼn▫umai pāpā. ||2||
Listen as Gurmukh, listen as Gurmukh, to the Naam, the Name of the Lord; all egotism and sins are eradicated. ||2||

ਮੁਖਿ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਮੁਖਿ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਜਪਿ ਸਭਿ ਰੋਗ ਗਵਾਇਆ ਰਾਮ ॥
मुखि गुरमुखि मुखि गुरमुखि जपि सभि रोग गवाइआ राम ॥
Mukẖ gurmukẖ mukẖ gurmukẖ jap sabẖ rog gavā▫i▫ā rām.
Speaking as Gurmukh, speaking as Gurmukh, chanting the Naam, all disease is eradicated.

ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਜਪਿ ਸਭਿ ਰੋਗ ਗਵਾਇਆ ਅਰੋਗਤ ਭਏ ਸਰੀਰਾ ॥
गुरमुखि जपि सभि रोग गवाइआ अरोगत भए सरीरा ॥
Gurmukẖ jap sabẖ rog gavā▫i▫ā arogaṯ bẖa▫e sarīrā.
As Gurmukh, chanting the Naam, all disease is eradicated, and the body becomes free of disease.

ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਸਹਜ ਸਮਾਧਿ ਹਰਿ ਲਾਗੀ ਹਰਿ ਜਪਿਆ ਗਹਿਰ ਗੰਭੀਰਾ ॥
अनदिनु सहज समाधि हरि लागी हरि जपिआ गहिर ग्मभीरा ॥
An▫ḏin sahj samāḏẖ har lāgī har japi▫ā gahir gambẖīrā.
Night and day, one remains absorbed in the Perfect Poise of Samaadhi; meditate on the Name of the Lord, the inaccessible and unfathomable Lord.

ਜਾਤਿ ਅਜਾਤਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਜਿਨ ਧਿਆਇਆ ਤਿਨ ਪਰਮ ਪਦਾਰਥੁ ਪਾਇਆ ॥
जाति अजाति नामु जिन धिआइआ तिन परम पदारथु पाइआ ॥
Jāṯ ajāṯ nām jin ḏẖi▫ā▫i▫ā ṯin param paḏārath pā▫i▫ā.
Whether of high or low social status, one who meditates on the Naam obtains the supreme treasure.
