ਤ੍ਰਿਭਵਣਿ ਸੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਜਾਣੀਐ ਸਾਚੋ ਸਾਚੈ ਨਾਇ ॥੫॥
त्रिभवणि सो प्रभु जाणीऐ साचो साचै नाइ ॥५॥
Ŧaribẖavaṇ so parabẖ jāṇī▫ai sācẖo sācẖai nā▫e. ||5||
God is known throughout the three worlds. True is the Name of the True One. ||5||

ਸਾ ਧਨ ਖਰੀ ਸੁਹਾਵਣੀ ਜਿਨਿ ਪਿਰੁ ਜਾਤਾ ਸੰਗਿ
सा धन खरी सुहावणी जिनि पिरु जाता संगि ॥
Sā ḏẖan kẖarī suhāvaṇī jin pir jāṯā sang.
The wife who knows that her Husband Lord is always with her is very beautiful.

ਮਹਲੀ ਮਹਲਿ ਬੁਲਾਈਐ ਸੋ ਪਿਰੁ ਰਾਵੇ ਰੰਗਿ
महली महलि बुलाईऐ सो पिरु रावे रंगि ॥
Mahlī mahal bulā▫ī▫ai so pir rāve rang.
The soul-bride is called to the Mansion of the His Presence, and her Husband Lord ravishes her with love.

ਸਚਿ ਸੁਹਾਗਣਿ ਸਾ ਭਲੀ ਪਿਰਿ ਮੋਹੀ ਗੁਣ ਸੰਗਿ ॥੬॥
सचि सुहागणि सा भली पिरि मोही गुण संगि ॥६॥
Sacẖ suhāgaṇ sā bẖalī pir mohī guṇ sang. ||6||
The happy soul-bride is true and good; she is fascinated by the Glories of her Husband Lord. ||6||

ਭੂਲੀ ਭੂਲੀ ਥਲਿ ਚੜਾ ਥਲਿ ਚੜਿ ਡੂਗਰਿ ਜਾਉ
भूली भूली थलि चड़ा थलि चड़ि डूगरि जाउ ॥
Bẖūlī bẖūlī thal cẖaṛā thal cẖaṛ dūgar jā▫o.
Wandering around and making mistakes, I climb the plateau; having climbed the plateau, I go up the mountain.

ਬਨ ਮਹਿ ਭੂਲੀ ਜੇ ਫਿਰਾ ਬਿਨੁ ਗੁਰ ਬੂਝ ਪਾਉ
बन महि भूली जे फिरा बिनु गुर बूझ न पाउ ॥
Ban mėh bẖūlī je firā bin gur būjẖ na pā▫o.
But now I have lost my way, and I am wandering around in the forest; without the Guru, I do not understand.

ਨਾਵਹੁ ਭੂਲੀ ਜੇ ਫਿਰਾ ਫਿਰਿ ਫਿਰਿ ਆਵਉ ਜਾਉ ॥੭॥
नावहु भूली जे फिरा फिरि फिरि आवउ जाउ ॥७॥
Nāvhu bẖūlī je firā fir fir āva▫o jā▫o. ||7||
If I wander around forgetting God's Name, I shall continue coming and going in reincarnation, over and over again. ||7||

ਪੁਛਹੁ ਜਾਇ ਪਧਾਊਆ ਚਲੇ ਚਾਕਰ ਹੋਇ
पुछहु जाइ पधाऊआ चले चाकर होइ ॥
Pucẖẖahu jā▫e paḏẖā▫ū▫ā cẖale cẖākar ho▫e.
Go and ask the travelers, how to walk on the Path as His slave.

ਰਾਜਨੁ ਜਾਣਹਿ ਆਪਣਾ ਦਰਿ ਘਰਿ ਠਾਕ ਹੋਇ
राजनु जाणहि आपणा दरि घरि ठाक न होइ ॥
Rājan jāṇėh āpṇā ḏar gẖar ṯẖāk na ho▫e.
They know the Lord to be their King, and at the Door to His Home, their way is not blocked.

ਨਾਨਕ ਏਕੋ ਰਵਿ ਰਹਿਆ ਦੂਜਾ ਅਵਰੁ ਕੋਇ ॥੮॥੬॥
नानक एको रवि रहिआ दूजा अवरु न कोइ ॥८॥६॥
Nānak eko rav rahi▫ā ḏūjā avar na ko▫e. ||8||6||
O Nanak, the One is pervading everywhere; there is no other at all. ||8||6||

ਸਿਰੀਰਾਗੁ ਮਹਲਾ
सिरीरागु महला १ ॥
Sirīrāg mėhlā 1.
Siree Raag, First Mehl:

ਗੁਰ ਤੇ ਨਿਰਮਲੁ ਜਾਣੀਐ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਦੇਹ ਸਰੀਰੁ
गुर ते निरमलु जाणीऐ निरमल देह सरीरु ॥
Gur ṯe nirmal jāṇī▫ai nirmal ḏeh sarīr.
Through the Guru, the Pure One is known, and the human body becomes pure as well.

ਨਿਰਮਲੁ ਸਾਚੋ ਮਨਿ ਵਸੈ ਸੋ ਜਾਣੈ ਅਭ ਪੀਰ
निरमलु साचो मनि वसै सो जाणै अभ पीर ॥
Nirmal sācẖo man vasai so jāṇai abẖ pīr.
The Pure, True Lord abides within the mind; He knows the pain of our hearts.

ਸਹਜੈ ਤੇ ਸੁਖੁ ਅਗਲੋ ਨਾ ਲਾਗੈ ਜਮ ਤੀਰੁ ॥੧॥
सहजै ते सुखु अगलो ना लागै जम तीरु ॥१॥
Sahjai ṯe sukẖ aglo nā lāgai jam ṯīr. ||1||
With intuitive ease, a great peace is found, and the arrow of death shall not strike you. ||1||

ਭਾਈ ਰੇ ਮੈਲੁ ਨਾਹੀ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਜਲਿ ਨਾਇ
भाई रे मैलु नाही निरमल जलि नाइ ॥
Bẖā▫ī re mail nāhī nirmal jal nā▫e.
O Siblings of Destiny, filth is washed away by bathing in the Pure Water of the Name.

ਨਿਰਮਲੁ ਸਾਚਾ ਏਕੁ ਤੂ ਹੋਰੁ ਮੈਲੁ ਭਰੀ ਸਭ ਜਾਇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ
निरमलु साचा एकु तू होरु मैलु भरी सभ जाइ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Nirmal sācẖā ek ṯū hor mail bẖarī sabẖ jā▫e. ||1|| rahā▫o.
You alone are Perfectly Pure, O True Lord; all other places are filled with filth. ||1||Pause||

ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਮੰਦਰੁ ਸੋਹਣਾ ਕੀਆ ਕਰਣੈਹਾਰਿ
हरि का मंदरु सोहणा कीआ करणैहारि ॥
Har kā manḏar sohṇā kī▫ā karṇaihār.
The Temple of the Lord is beautiful; it was made by the Creator Lord.

ਰਵਿ ਸਸਿ ਦੀਪ ਅਨੂਪ ਜੋਤਿ ਤ੍ਰਿਭਵਣਿ ਜੋਤਿ ਅਪਾਰ
रवि ससि दीप अनूप जोति त्रिभवणि जोति अपार ॥
Rav sas ḏīp anūp joṯ ṯaribẖavaṇ joṯ apār.
The sun and the moon are lamps of incomparably beautiful light. Throughout the three worlds, the Infinite Light is pervading.

ਹਾਟ ਪਟਣ ਗੜ ਕੋਠੜੀ ਸਚੁ ਸਉਦਾ ਵਾਪਾਰ ॥੨॥
हाट पटण गड़ कोठड़ी सचु सउदा वापार ॥२॥
Hāt pataṇ gaṛ koṯẖ▫ṛī sacẖ sa▫uḏā vāpār. ||2||
In the shops of the city of the body, in the fortresses and in the huts, the True Merchandise is traded. ||2||

ਗਿਆਨ ਅੰਜਨੁ ਭੈ ਭੰਜਨਾ ਦੇਖੁ ਨਿਰੰਜਨ ਭਾਇ
गिआन अंजनु भै भंजना देखु निरंजन भाइ ॥
Gi▫ān anjan bẖai bẖanjnā ḏekẖ niranjan bẖā▫e.
The ointment of spiritual wisdom is the destroyer of fear; through love, the Pure One is seen.

ਗੁਪਤੁ ਪ੍ਰਗਟੁ ਸਭ ਜਾਣੀਐ ਜੇ ਮਨੁ ਰਾਖੈ ਠਾਇ
गुपतु प्रगटु सभ जाणीऐ जे मनु राखै ठाइ ॥
Gupaṯ pargat sabẖ jāṇī▫ai je man rākẖai ṯẖā▫e.
The mysteries of the seen and the unseen are all known, if the mind is kept centered and balanced.

ਐਸਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਜੇ ਮਿਲੈ ਤਾ ਸਹਜੇ ਲਏ ਮਿਲਾਇ ॥੩॥
ऐसा सतिगुरु जे मिलै ता सहजे लए मिलाइ ॥३॥
Aisā saṯgur je milai ṯā sėhje la▫e milā▫e. ||3||
If one finds such a True Guru, the Lord is met with intuitive ease. ||3||

ਕਸਿ ਕਸਵਟੀ ਲਾਈਐ ਪਰਖੇ ਹਿਤੁ ਚਿਤੁ ਲਾਇ
कसि कसवटी लाईऐ परखे हितु चितु लाइ ॥
Kas kasvatī lā▫ī▫ai parkẖe hiṯ cẖiṯ lā▫e.
He draws us to His Touchstone, to test our love and consciousness.

ਖੋਟੇ ਠਉਰ ਪਾਇਨੀ ਖਰੇ ਖਜਾਨੈ ਪਾਇ
खोटे ठउर न पाइनी खरे खजानै पाइ ॥
Kẖote ṯẖa▫ur na pā▫inī kẖare kẖajānai pā▫e.
The counterfeit have no place there, but the genuine are placed in His Treasury.

ਆਸ ਅੰਦੇਸਾ ਦੂਰਿ ਕਰਿ ਇਉ ਮਲੁ ਜਾਇ ਸਮਾਇ ॥੪॥
आस अंदेसा दूरि करि इउ मलु जाइ समाइ ॥४॥
Ās anḏesā ḏūr kar i▫o mal jā▫e samā▫e. ||4||
Let your hopes and anxieties depart; thus pollution is washed away. ||4||

ਸੁਖ ਕਉ ਮਾਗੈ ਸਭੁ ਕੋ ਦੁਖੁ ਮਾਗੈ ਕੋਇ
सुख कउ मागै सभु को दुखु न मागै कोइ ॥
Sukẖ ka▫o māgai sabẖ ko ḏukẖ na māgai ko▫e.
Everyone begs for happiness; no one asks for suffering.

ਸੁਖੈ ਕਉ ਦੁਖੁ ਅਗਲਾ ਮਨਮੁਖਿ ਬੂਝ ਹੋਇ
सुखै कउ दुखु अगला मनमुखि बूझ न होइ ॥
Sukẖai ka▫o ḏukẖ aglā manmukẖ būjẖ na ho▫e.
But in the wake of happiness, there comes great suffering. The self-willed manmukhs do not understand this.

ਸੁਖ ਦੁਖ ਸਮ ਕਰਿ ਜਾਣੀਅਹਿ ਸਬਦਿ ਭੇਦਿ ਸੁਖੁ ਹੋਇ ॥੫॥
सुख दुख सम करि जाणीअहि सबदि भेदि सुखु होइ ॥५॥
Sukẖ ḏukẖ sam kar jāṇī▫ahi sabaḏ bẖeḏ sukẖ ho▫e. ||5||
Those who see pain and pleasure as one and the same find peace; they are pierced through by the Shabad. ||5||

ਬੇਦੁ ਪੁਕਾਰੇ ਵਾਚੀਐ ਬਾਣੀ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਬਿਆਸੁ
बेदु पुकारे वाचीऐ बाणी ब्रहम बिआसु ॥
Beḏ pukāre vācẖī▫ai baṇī barahm bi▫ās.
The Vedas proclaim, and the words of Vyaasa tell us,

ਮੁਨਿ ਜਨ ਸੇਵਕ ਸਾਧਿਕਾ ਨਾਮਿ ਰਤੇ ਗੁਣਤਾਸੁ
मुनि जन सेवक साधिका नामि रते गुणतासु ॥
Mun jan sevak sāḏẖikā nām raṯe guṇṯās.
that the silent sages, the servants of the Lord, and those who practice a life of spiritual discipline are attuned to the Naam, the Treasure of Excellence.

ਸਚਿ ਰਤੇ ਸੇ ਜਿਣਿ ਗਏ ਹਉ ਸਦ ਬਲਿਹਾਰੈ ਜਾਸੁ ॥੬॥
सचि रते से जिणि गए हउ सद बलिहारै जासु ॥६॥
Sacẖ raṯe se jiṇ ga▫e ha▫o saḏ balihārai jās. ||6||
Those who are attuned to the True Name win the game of life; I am forever a sacrifice to them. ||6||

ਚਹੁ ਜੁਗਿ ਮੈਲੇ ਮਲੁ ਭਰੇ ਜਿਨ ਮੁਖਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਹੋਇ
चहु जुगि मैले मलु भरे जिन मुखि नामु न होइ ॥
Cẖahu jug maile mal bẖare jin mukẖ nām na ho▫e.
Those who do not have the Naam in their mouths are filled with pollution; they are filthy throughout the four ages.

ਭਗਤੀ ਭਾਇ ਵਿਹੂਣਿਆ ਮੁਹੁ ਕਾਲਾ ਪਤਿ ਖੋਇ
भगती भाइ विहूणिआ मुहु काला पति खोइ ॥
Bẖagṯī bẖā▫e vihūṇi▫ā muhu kālā paṯ kẖo▫e.
Without loving devotion to God, their faces are blackened, and their honor is lost.

ਜਿਨੀ ਨਾਮੁ ਵਿਸਾਰਿਆ ਅਵਗਣ ਮੁਠੀ ਰੋਇ ॥੭॥
जिनी नामु विसारिआ अवगण मुठी रोइ ॥७॥
Jinī nām visāri▫ā avgaṇ muṯẖī ro▫e. ||7||
Those who have forgotten the Naam are plundered by evil; they weep and wail in dismay. ||7||

ਖੋਜਤ ਖੋਜਤ ਪਾਇਆ ਡਰੁ ਕਰਿ ਮਿਲੈ ਮਿਲਾਇ
खोजत खोजत पाइआ डरु करि मिलै मिलाइ ॥
Kẖojaṯ kẖojaṯ pā▫i▫ā dar kar milai milā▫e.
I searched and searched, and found God. In the Fear of God, I have been united in His Union.

ਆਪੁ ਪਛਾਣੈ ਘਰਿ ਵਸੈ ਹਉਮੈ ਤ੍ਰਿਸਨਾ ਜਾਇ
आपु पछाणै घरि वसै हउमै त्रिसना जाइ ॥
Āp pacẖẖāṇai gẖar vasai ha▫umai ṯarisnā jā▫e.
Through self-realization, people dwell within the home of their inner being; egotism and desire depart.

ਨਾਨਕ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਊਜਲੇ ਜੋ ਰਾਤੇ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਇ ॥੮॥੭॥
नानक निरमल ऊजले जो राते हरि नाइ ॥८॥७॥
Nānak nirmal ūjle jo rāṯe har nā▫e. ||8||7||
O Nanak, those who are attuned to the Name of the Lord are immaculate and radiant. ||8||7||

ਸਿਰੀਰਾਗੁ ਮਹਲਾ
सिरीरागु महला १ ॥
Sirīrāg mėhlā 1.
Siree Raag, First Mehl:

ਸੁਣਿ ਮਨ ਭੂਲੇ ਬਾਵਰੇ ਗੁਰ ਕੀ ਚਰਣੀ ਲਾਗੁ
सुणि मन भूले बावरे गुर की चरणी लागु ॥
Suṇ man bẖūle bāvre gur kī cẖarṇī lāg.
Listen, O deluded and demented mind: hold tight to the Guru's Feet.

ਹਰਿ ਜਪਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਇ ਤੂ ਜਮੁ ਡਰਪੈ ਦੁਖ ਭਾਗੁ
हरि जपि नामु धिआइ तू जमु डरपै दुख भागु ॥
Har jap nām ḏẖi▫ā▫e ṯū jam darpai ḏukẖ bẖāg.
Chant and meditate on the Naam, the Name of the Lord; death will be afraid of you, and suffering shall depart.

ਦੂਖੁ ਘਣੋ ਦੋਹਾਗਣੀ ਕਿਉ ਥਿਰੁ ਰਹੈ ਸੁਹਾਗੁ ॥੧॥
दूखु घणो दोहागणी किउ थिरु रहै सुहागु ॥१॥
Ḏūkẖ gẖaṇo ḏuhāgaṇī ki▫o thir rahai suhāg. ||1||
The deserted wife suffers terrible pain. How can her Husband Lord remain with her forever? ||1||
