ਧਨੁ ਧੰਨੁ ਗੁਰੂ ਗੁਰ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਪੂਰਾ ਨਾਨਕ ਮਨਿ ਆਸ ਪੁਜਾਏ ॥੪॥
धनु धंनु गुरू गुर सतिगुरु पूरा नानक मनि आस पुजाए ॥४॥
Ḏẖan ḏẖan gurū gur saṯgur pūrā Nānak man ās pujā▫e. ||4||
Hail, hail unto the Guru, the Guru, the Perfect True Guru, who fulfills Nanak's heart's desires. ||4||

ਗੁਰੁ ਸਜਣੁ ਮੇਰਾ ਮੇਲਿ ਹਰੇ ਜਿਤੁ ਮਿਲਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਵਾ
गुरु सजणु मेरा मेलि हरे जितु मिलि हरि नामु धिआवा ॥
Gur sajaṇ merā mel hare jiṯ mil har nām ḏẖi▫āvā.
O Lord, let me meet the Guru, my best friend; meeting Him, I meditate on the Lord's Name.

ਗੁਰ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪਾਸਹੁ ਹਰਿ ਗੋਸਟਿ ਪੂਛਾਂ ਕਰਿ ਸਾਂਝੀ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵਾਂ
गुर सतिगुर पासहु हरि गोसटि पूछां करि सांझी हरि गुण गावां ॥
Gur saṯgur pāshu har gosat pūcẖẖāʼn kar sāʼnjẖī har guṇ gāvāʼn.
I seek the Lord's sermon from the Guru, the True Guru; joining with Him, I sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord.

ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵਾ ਨਿਤ ਨਿਤ ਸਦ ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਮਨੁ ਜੀਵੈ ਨਾਮੁ ਸੁਣਿ ਤੇਰਾ
गुण गावा नित नित सद हरि के मनु जीवै नामु सुणि तेरा ॥
Guṇ gāvā niṯ niṯ saḏ har ke man jīvai nām suṇ ṯerā.
Each and every day, forever, I sing the Lord's Praises; my mind lives by hearing Your Name.

ਨਾਨਕ ਜਿਤੁ ਵੇਲਾ ਵਿਸਰੈ ਮੇਰਾ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਤਿਤੁ ਵੇਲੈ ਮਰਿ ਜਾਇ ਜੀਉ ਮੇਰਾ ॥੫॥
नानक जितु वेला विसरै मेरा सुआमी तितु वेलै मरि जाइ जीउ मेरा ॥५॥
Nānak jiṯ velā visrai merā su▫āmī ṯiṯ velai mar jā▫e jī▫o merā. ||5||
O Nanak, that moment when I forget my Lord and Master - at that moment, my soul dies. ||5||

ਹਰਿ ਵੇਖਣ ਕਉ ਸਭੁ ਕੋਈ ਲੋਚੈ ਸੋ ਵੇਖੈ ਜਿਸੁ ਆਪਿ ਵਿਖਾਲੇ
हरि वेखण कउ सभु कोई लोचै सो वेखै जिसु आपि विखाले ॥
Har vekẖaṇ ka▫o sabẖ ko▫ī locẖai so vekẖai jis āp vikẖāle.
Everyone longs to see the Lord, but he alone sees Him, whom the Lord causes to see Him.

ਜਿਸ ਨੋ ਨਦਰਿ ਕਰੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਸੋ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਸਦਾ ਸਮਾਲੇ
जिस नो नदरि करे मेरा पिआरा सो हरि हरि सदा समाले ॥
Jis no naḏar kare merā pi▫ārā so har har saḏā samāle.
One upon whom my Beloved bestows His Glance of Grace, cherishes the Lord, Har, Har forever.

ਸੋ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਸਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਸਮਾਲੇ ਜਿਸੁ ਸਤਗੁਰੁ ਪੂਰਾ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਿਲਿਆ
सो हरि हरि नामु सदा सदा समाले जिसु सतगुरु पूरा मेरा मिलिआ ॥
So har har nām saḏā saḏā samāle jis saṯgur pūrā merā mili▫ā.
He alone cherishes the Lord, Har, Har, forever and ever, who meets my Perfect True Guru.

ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਜਨ ਹਰਿ ਇਕੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਰਿ ਜਪਿ ਹਰਿ ਸੇਤੀ ਰਲਿਆ ॥੬॥੧॥੩॥
नानक हरि जन हरि इके होए हरि जपि हरि सेती रलिआ ॥६॥१॥३॥
Nānak har jan har ike ho▫e har jap har seṯī rali▫ā. ||6||1||3||
O Nanak, the Lord's humble servant and the Lord become One; meditating on the Lord, he blends with the Lord. ||6||1||3||

ਵਡਹੰਸੁ ਮਹਲਾ ਘਰੁ
वडहंसु महला ५ घरु १
vad▫hans mėhlā 5 gẖar 1
Wadahans, Fifth Mehl, First House:

ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ
ੴ सतिगुर प्रसादि ॥
Ik▫oaʼnkār saṯgur parsāḏ.
One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:

ਅਤਿ ਊਚਾ ਤਾ ਕਾ ਦਰਬਾਰਾ
अति ऊचा ता का दरबारा ॥
Aṯ ūcẖā ṯā kā ḏarbārā.
His Darbaar, His Court, is the most lofty and exalted.

ਅੰਤੁ ਨਾਹੀ ਕਿਛੁ ਪਾਰਾਵਾਰਾ
अंतु नाही किछु पारावारा ॥
Anṯ nāhī kicẖẖ pārāvārā.
It has no end or limitations.

ਕੋਟਿ ਕੋਟਿ ਕੋਟਿ ਲਖ ਧਾਵੈ
कोटि कोटि कोटि लख धावै ॥
Kot kot kot lakẖ ḏẖāvai.
Millions, millions, tens of millions seek,

ਇਕੁ ਤਿਲੁ ਤਾ ਕਾ ਮਹਲੁ ਪਾਵੈ ॥੧॥
इकु तिलु ता का महलु न पावै ॥१॥
Ik ṯil ṯā kā mahal na pāvai. ||1||
but they cannot find even a tiny bit of His Mansion. ||1||

ਸੁਹਾਵੀ ਕਉਣੁ ਸੁ ਵੇਲਾ ਜਿਤੁ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਮੇਲਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ
सुहावी कउणु सु वेला जितु प्रभ मेला ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Suhāvī ka▫uṇ so velā jiṯ parabẖ melā. ||1|| rahā▫o.
What is that auspicious moment, when God is met? ||1||Pause||

ਲਾਖ ਭਗਤ ਜਾ ਕਉ ਆਰਾਧਹਿ
लाख भगत जा कउ आराधहि ॥
Lākẖ bẖagaṯ jā ka▫o ārāḏẖėh.
Tens of thousands of devotees worship Him in adoration.

ਲਾਖ ਤਪੀਸਰ ਤਪੁ ਹੀ ਸਾਧਹਿ
लाख तपीसर तपु ही साधहि ॥
Lākẖ ṯapīsar ṯap hī sāḏẖėh.
Tens of thousands of ascetics practice austere discipline.

ਲਾਖ ਜੋਗੀਸਰ ਕਰਤੇ ਜੋਗਾ
लाख जोगीसर करते जोगा ॥
Lākẖ jogīsar karṯe jogā.
Tens of thousands of Yogis practice Yoga.

ਲਾਖ ਭੋਗੀਸਰ ਭੋਗਹਿ ਭੋਗਾ ॥੨॥
लाख भोगीसर भोगहि भोगा ॥२॥
Lākẖ bẖogīsar bẖogėh bẖogā. ||2||
Tens of thousands of pleasure seekers seek pleasure. ||2||

ਘਟਿ ਘਟਿ ਵਸਹਿ ਜਾਣਹਿ ਥੋਰਾ
घटि घटि वसहि जाणहि थोरा ॥
Gẖat gẖat vasėh jāṇėh thorā.
He dwells in each and every heart, but only a few know this.

ਹੈ ਕੋਈ ਸਾਜਣੁ ਪਰਦਾ ਤੋਰਾ
है कोई साजणु परदा तोरा ॥
Hai ko▫ī sājaṇ parḏā ṯorā.
Is there any friend who can rip apart the screen of separation?

ਕਰਉ ਜਤਨ ਜੇ ਹੋਇ ਮਿਹਰਵਾਨਾ
करउ जतन जे होइ मिहरवाना ॥
Kara▫o jaṯan je ho▫e miharvānā.
I can only make the effort, if the Lord is merciful to me.

ਤਾ ਕਉ ਦੇਈ ਜੀਉ ਕੁਰਬਾਨਾ ॥੩॥
ता कउ देई जीउ कुरबाना ॥३॥
Ŧā ka▫o ḏe▫ī jī▫o kurbānā. ||3||
I sacrifice my body and soul to Him. ||3||

ਫਿਰਤ ਫਿਰਤ ਸੰਤਨ ਪਹਿ ਆਇਆ
फिरत फिरत संतन पहि आइआ ॥
Firaṯ firaṯ sanṯan pėh ā▫i▫ā.
After wandering around for so long, I have finally come to the Saints;

ਦੂਖ ਭ੍ਰਮੁ ਹਮਾਰਾ ਸਗਲ ਮਿਟਾਇਆ
दूख भ्रमु हमारा सगल मिटाइआ ॥
Ḏūkẖ bẖaram hamārā sagal mitā▫i▫ā.
all of my pains and doubts have been eradicated.

ਮਹਲਿ ਬੁਲਾਇਆ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਭੂੰਚਾ
महलि बुलाइआ प्रभ अम्रितु भूंचा ॥
Mahal bulā▫i▫ā parabẖ amriṯ bẖūncẖā.
God summoned me to the Mansion of His Presence, and blessed me with the Ambrosial Nectar of His Name.

ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਮੇਰਾ ਊਚਾ ॥੪॥੧॥
कहु नानक प्रभु मेरा ऊचा ॥४॥१॥
Kaho Nānak parabẖ merā ūcẖā. ||4||1||
Says Nanak, my God is lofty and exalted. ||4||1||

ਵਡਹੰਸੁ ਮਹਲਾ
वडहंसु महला ५ ॥
vad▫hans mėhlā 5.
Wadahans, Fifth Mehl:

ਧਨੁ ਸੁ ਵੇਲਾ ਜਿਤੁ ਦਰਸਨੁ ਕਰਣਾ
धनु सु वेला जितु दरसनु करणा ॥
Ḏẖan so velā jiṯ ḏarsan karṇā.
Blessed is that time, when the Blessed Vision of His Darshan is given;

ਹਉ ਬਲਿਹਾਰੀ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਚਰਣਾ ॥੧॥
हउ बलिहारी सतिगुर चरणा ॥१॥
Ha▫o balihārī saṯgur cẖarṇā. ||1||
I am a sacrifice to the feet of the True Guru. ||1||

ਜੀਅ ਕੇ ਦਾਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਮੇਰੇ
जीअ के दाते प्रीतम प्रभ मेरे ॥
Jī▫a ke ḏāṯe parīṯam parabẖ mere.
You are the Giver of souls, O my Beloved God.

ਮਨੁ ਜੀਵੈ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਨਾਮੁ ਚਿਤੇਰੇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ
मनु जीवै प्रभ नामु चितेरे ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Man jīvai parabẖ nām cẖiṯere. ||1|| rahā▫o.
My soul lives by reflecting upon the Name of God. ||1||Pause||

ਸਚੁ ਮੰਤ੍ਰੁ ਤੁਮਾਰਾ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਬਾਣੀ
सचु मंत्रु तुमारा अम्रित बाणी ॥
Sacẖ manṯar ṯumārā amriṯ baṇī.
True is Your Mantra, Ambrosial is the Bani of Your Word.

ਸੀਤਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਦ੍ਰਿਸਟਿ ਸੁਜਾਣੀ ॥੨॥
सीतल पुरख द्रिसटि सुजाणी ॥२॥
Sīṯal purakẖ ḏarisat sujāṇī. ||2||
Cooling and soothing is Your Presence, all-knowing is Your gaze. ||2||

ਸਚੁ ਹੁਕਮੁ ਤੁਮਾਰਾ ਤਖਤਿ ਨਿਵਾਸੀ
सचु हुकमु तुमारा तखति निवासी ॥
Sacẖ hukam ṯumārā ṯakẖaṯ nivāsī.
True is Your Command; You sit upon the eternal throne.

ਆਇ ਜਾਵੈ ਮੇਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਅਬਿਨਾਸੀ ॥੩॥
आइ न जावै मेरा प्रभु अबिनासी ॥३॥
Ā▫e na jāvai merā parabẖ abẖināsī. ||3||
My eternal God does not come or go. ||3||

ਤੁਮ ਮਿਹਰਵਾਨ ਦਾਸ ਹਮ ਦੀਨਾ
तुम मिहरवान दास हम दीना ॥
Ŧum miharvān ḏās ham ḏīnā.
You are the Merciful Master; I am Your humble servant.

ਨਾਨਕ ਸਾਹਿਬੁ ਭਰਪੁਰਿ ਲੀਣਾ ॥੪॥੨॥
नानक साहिबु भरपुरि लीणा ॥४॥२॥
Nānak sāhib bẖarpur līṇā. ||4||2||
O Nanak, the Lord and Master is totally permeating and pervading everywhere. ||4||2||

ਵਡਹੰਸੁ ਮਹਲਾ
वडहंसु महला ५ ॥
vad▫hans mėhlā 5.
Wadahans, Fifth Mehl:

ਤੂ ਬੇਅੰਤੁ ਕੋ ਵਿਰਲਾ ਜਾਣੈ
तू बेअंतु को विरला जाणै ॥
Ŧū be▫anṯ ko virlā jāṇai.
You are infinite - only a few know this.

ਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ਕੋ ਸਬਦਿ ਪਛਾਣੈ ॥੧॥
गुर प्रसादि को सबदि पछाणै ॥१॥
Gur parsāḏ ko sabaḏ pacẖẖāṇai. ||1||
By Guru's Grace, some come to understand You through the Word of the Shabad. ||1||

ਸੇਵਕ ਕੀ ਅਰਦਾਸਿ ਪਿਆਰੇ
सेवक की अरदासि पिआरे ॥
Sevak kī arḏās pi▫āre.
