ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਅਪਣਾ ਸੇਵਿ ਸਭ ਫਲ ਪਾਇਆ
सतिगुरु अपणा सेवि सभ फल पाइआ ॥
Saṯgur apṇā sev sabẖ fal pā▫i▫ā.
Serving my True Guru, I have obtained all the fruits.

ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਨਾਉ ਸਦਾ ਧਿਆਇਆ
अम्रित हरि का नाउ सदा धिआइआ ॥
Amriṯ har kā nā▫o saḏā ḏẖi▫ā▫i▫ā.
I meditate continually on the Ambrosial Name of the Lord.

ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਦੁਖੁ ਮਿਟਾਇਆ
संत जना कै संगि दुखु मिटाइआ ॥
Sanṯ janā kai sang ḏukẖ mitā▫i▫ā.
In the Society of the Saints, I am rid of my pain and suffering.

ਨਾਨਕ ਭਏ ਅਚਿੰਤੁ ਹਰਿ ਧਨੁ ਨਿਹਚਲਾਇਆ ॥੨੦॥
नानक भए अचिंतु हरि धनु निहचलाइआ ॥२०॥
Nānak bẖa▫e acẖinṯ har ḏẖan nihcẖalā▫i▫ā. ||20||
O Nanak, I have become care-free; I have obtained the imperishable wealth of the Lord. ||20||

ਸਲੋਕ ਮਃ
सलोक मः ३ ॥
Salok mėhlā 3.
Shalok, Third Mehl:

ਖੇਤਿ ਮਿਆਲਾ ਉਚੀਆ ਘਰੁ ਉਚਾ ਨਿਰਣਉ
खेति मिआला उचीआ घरु उचा निरणउ ॥
Kẖeṯ mi▫ālā ucẖī▫ā gẖar ucẖā nirṇa▫o.
Raising the embankments of the mind's field, I gaze at the heavenly mansion.

ਮਹਲ ਭਗਤੀ ਘਰਿ ਸਰੈ ਸਜਣ ਪਾਹੁਣਿਅਉ
महल भगती घरि सरै सजण पाहुणिअउ ॥
Mahal bẖagṯī gẖar sarai sajaṇ pāhuṇi▫a▫o.
When devotion comes to the mind of the soul-bride, she is visited by the friendly guest.

ਬਰਸਨਾ ਬਰਸੁ ਘਨਾ ਬਹੁੜਿ ਬਰਸਹਿ ਕਾਹਿ
बरसना त बरसु घना बहुड़ि बरसहि काहि ॥
Barsanā ṯa baras gẖanā bahuṛ barsėh kāhi.
O clouds, if you are going to rain, then go ahead and rain; why rain after the season has passed?

ਨਾਨਕ ਤਿਨ੍ਹ੍ਹ ਬਲਿਹਾਰਣੈ ਜਿਨ੍ਹ੍ਹ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਪਾਇਆ ਮਨ ਮਾਹਿ ॥੧॥
नानक तिन्ह बलिहारणै जिन्ह गुरमुखि पाइआ मन माहि ॥१॥
Nānak ṯinĥ balihārṇai jinĥ gurmukẖ pā▫i▫ā man māhi. ||1||
Nanak is a sacrifice to those Gurmukhs who obtain the Lord in their minds. ||1||

ਮਃ
मः ३ ॥
Mėhlā 3.
Third Mehl:

ਮਿਠਾ ਸੋ ਜੋ ਭਾਵਦਾ ਸਜਣੁ ਸੋ ਜਿ ਰਾਸਿ
मिठा सो जो भावदा सजणु सो जि रासि ॥
Miṯẖā so jo bẖāvḏā sajaṇ so jė rās.
That which is pleasing is sweet, and one who is sincere is a friend.

ਨਾਨਕ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਜਾਣੀਐ ਜਾ ਕਉ ਆਪਿ ਕਰੇ ਪਰਗਾਸੁ ॥੨॥
नानक गुरमुखि जाणीऐ जा कउ आपि करे परगासु ॥२॥
Nānak gurmukẖ jāṇī▫ai jā ka▫o āp kare pargās. ||2||
O Nanak, he is known as a Gurmukh, whom the Lord Himself enlightens. ||2||

ਪਉੜੀ

Pauree:

ਪ੍ਰਭ ਪਾਸਿ ਜਨ ਕੀ ਅਰਦਾਸਿ ਤੂ ਸਚਾ ਸਾਂਈ
प्रभ पासि जन की अरदासि तू सचा सांई ॥
Parabẖ pās jan kī arḏās ṯū sacẖā sāʼn▫ī.
O God, Your humble servant offers his prayer to You; You are my True Master.

ਤੂ ਰਖਵਾਲਾ ਸਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਹਉ ਤੁਧੁ ਧਿਆਈ
तू रखवाला सदा सदा हउ तुधु धिआई ॥
Ŧū rakẖvālā saḏā saḏā ha▫o ṯuḏẖ ḏẖi▫ā▫ī.
You are my Protector, forever and ever; I meditate on You.

ਜੀਅ ਜੰਤ ਸਭਿ ਤੇਰਿਆ ਤੂ ਰਹਿਆ ਸਮਾਈ
जीअ जंत सभि तेरिआ तू रहिआ समाई ॥
Jī▫a janṯ sabẖ ṯeri▫ā ṯū rahi▫ā samā▫ī.
All the beings and creatures are Yours; You are pervading and permeating in them.

ਜੋ ਦਾਸ ਤੇਰੇ ਕੀ ਨਿੰਦਾ ਕਰੇ ਤਿਸੁ ਮਾਰਿ ਪਚਾਈ
जो दास तेरे की निंदा करे तिसु मारि पचाई ॥
Jo ḏās ṯere kī ninḏā kare ṯis mār pacẖā▫ī.
One who slanders Your slave is crushed and destroyed.

ਚਿੰਤਾ ਛਡਿ ਅਚਿੰਤੁ ਰਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਲਗਿ ਪਾਈ ॥੨੧॥
चिंता छडि अचिंतु रहु नानक लगि पाई ॥२१॥
Cẖinṯā cẖẖad acẖinṯ rahu Nānak lag pā▫ī. ||21||
Falling at Your Feet, Nanak has renounced his cares, and has become care-free. ||21||

ਸਲੋਕ ਮਃ
सलोक मः ३ ॥
Salok mėhlā 3.
Shalok, Third Mehl:

ਆਸਾ ਕਰਤਾ ਜਗੁ ਮੁਆ ਆਸਾ ਮਰੈ ਜਾਇ
आसा करता जगु मुआ आसा मरै न जाइ ॥
Āsā karṯā jag mu▫ā āsā marai na jā▫e.
Building up its hopes, the world dies, but its hopes do not die or depart.

ਨਾਨਕ ਆਸਾ ਪੂਰੀਆ ਸਚੇ ਸਿਉ ਚਿਤੁ ਲਾਇ ॥੧॥
नानक आसा पूरीआ सचे सिउ चितु लाइ ॥१॥
Nānak āsā pūrī▫ā sacẖe si▫o cẖiṯ lā▫e. ||1||
O Nanak, hopes are fulfilled only by attaching one's consciousness to the True Lord. ||1||

ਮਃ
मः ३ ॥
Mėhlā 3.
Third Mehl:

ਆਸਾ ਮਨਸਾ ਮਰਿ ਜਾਇਸੀ ਜਿਨਿ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੋ ਲੈ ਜਾਇ
आसा मनसा मरि जाइसी जिनि कीती सो लै जाइ ॥
Āsā mansā mar jā▫isī jin kīṯī so lai jā▫e.
Hopes and desires shall die only when He, who created them, takes them away.

ਨਾਨਕ ਨਿਹਚਲੁ ਕੋ ਨਹੀ ਬਾਝਹੁ ਹਰਿ ਕੈ ਨਾਇ ॥੨॥
नानक निहचलु को नही बाझहु हरि कै नाइ ॥२॥
Nānak nihcẖal ko nahī bājẖahu har kai nā▫e. ||2||
O Nanak, nothing is permanent, except the Name of the Lord. ||2||

ਪਉੜੀ
पउड़ी ॥
Pa▫oṛī.
Pauree:

ਆਪੇ ਜਗਤੁ ਉਪਾਇਓਨੁ ਕਰਿ ਪੂਰਾ ਥਾਟੁ
आपे जगतु उपाइओनु करि पूरा थाटु ॥
Āpe jagaṯ upā▫i▫on kar pūrā thāt.
He Himself created the world, with His perfect workmanship.

ਆਪੇ ਸਾਹੁ ਆਪੇ ਵਣਜਾਰਾ ਆਪੇ ਹੀ ਹਰਿ ਹਾਟੁ
आपे साहु आपे वणजारा आपे ही हरि हाटु ॥
Āpe sāhu āpe vaṇjārā āpe hī har hāt.
He Himself is the true banker, He Himself is the merchant, and He Himself is the store.

ਆਪੇ ਸਾਗਰੁ ਆਪੇ ਬੋਹਿਥਾ ਆਪੇ ਹੀ ਖੇਵਾਟੁ
आपे सागरु आपे बोहिथा आपे ही खेवाटु ॥
Āpe sāgar āpe bohithā āpe hī kẖevāt.
He Himself is the ocean, He Himself is the boat, and He Himself is the boatman.

ਆਪੇ ਗੁਰੁ ਚੇਲਾ ਹੈ ਆਪੇ ਆਪੇ ਦਸੇ ਘਾਟੁ
आपे गुरु चेला है आपे आपे दसे घाटु ॥
Āpe gur cẖelā hai āpe āpe ḏase gẖāt.
He Himself is the Guru, He Himself is the disciple, and He Himself shows the destination.

ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਇ ਤੂ ਸਭਿ ਕਿਲਵਿਖ ਕਾਟੁ ॥੨੨॥੧॥ ਸੁਧੁ
जन नानक नामु धिआइ तू सभि किलविख काटु ॥२२॥१॥ सुधु
Jan Nānak nām ḏẖi▫ā▫e ṯū sabẖ kilvikẖ kāt. ||22||1|| suḏẖu
O servant Nanak, meditate on the Naam, the Name of the Lord, and all your sins shall be eradicated. ||22||1||Sudh||

One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:

ਸਲੋਕੁ ਮਃ

Shalok, Fifth Mehl:

ਅੰਤਰਿ ਗੁਰੁ ਆਰਾਧਣਾ ਜਿਹਵਾ ਜਪਿ ਗੁਰ ਨਾਉ
अंतरि गुरु आराधणा जिहवा जपि गुर नाउ ॥
Anṯar gur ārāḏẖ▫ṇā jihvā jap gur nā▫o.
Deep within yourself, worship the Guru in adoration, and with your tongue, chant the Guru's Name.

ਨੇਤ੍ਰੀ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਪੇਖਣਾ ਸ੍ਰਵਣੀ ਸੁਨਣਾ ਗੁਰ ਨਾਉ
नेत्री सतिगुरु पेखणा स्रवणी सुनणा गुर नाउ ॥
Neṯrī saṯgur pekẖ▫ṇā sarvaṇī sunṇā gur nā▫o.
Let your eyes behold the True Guru, and let your ears hear the Guru's Name.

ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਸੇਤੀ ਰਤਿਆ ਦਰਗਹ ਪਾਈਐ ਠਾਉ
सतिगुर सेती रतिआ दरगह पाईऐ ठाउ ॥
Saṯgur seṯī raṯi▫ā ḏargėh pā▫ī▫ai ṯẖā▫o.
Attuned to the True Guru, you shall receive a place of honor in the Court of the Lord.

ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰੇ ਜਿਸ ਨੋ ਏਹ ਵਥੁ ਦੇਇ
कहु नानक किरपा करे जिस नो एह वथु देइ ॥
Kaho Nānak kirpā kare jis no eh vath ḏe▫e.
Says Nanak, this treasure is bestowed on those who are blessed with His Mercy.

ਜਗ ਮਹਿ ਉਤਮ ਕਾਢੀਅਹਿ ਵਿਰਲੇ ਕੇਈ ਕੇਇ ॥੧॥
जग महि उतम काढीअहि विरले केई केइ ॥१॥
Jag mėh uṯam kādẖī▫ah virle ke▫ī ke▫e. ||1||
In the midst of the world, they are known as the most pious - they are rare indeed. ||1||

ਮਃ
मः ५ ॥
Mėhlā 5.
Fifth Mehl:

ਰਖੇ ਰਖਣਹਾਰਿ ਆਪਿ ਉਬਾਰਿਅਨੁ
रखे रखणहारि आपि उबारिअनु ॥
Rakẖe rakẖaṇhār āp ubāri▫an.
O Savior Lord, save us and take us across.

ਗੁਰ ਕੀ ਪੈਰੀ ਪਾਇ ਕਾਜ ਸਵਾਰਿਅਨੁ
गुर की पैरी पाइ काज सवारिअनु ॥
Gur kī pairī pā▫e kāj savāri▫an.
Falling at the feet of the Guru, our works are embellished with perfection.

ਹੋਆ ਆਪਿ ਦਇਆਲੁ ਮਨਹੁ ਵਿਸਾਰਿਅਨੁ
होआ आपि दइआलु मनहु न विसारिअनु ॥
Ho▫ā āp ḏa▫i▫āl manhu na visāri▫an.
You have become kind, merciful and compassionate; we do not forget You from our minds.

ਸਾਧ ਜਨਾ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਭਵਜਲੁ ਤਾਰਿਅਨੁ
साध जना कै संगि भवजलु तारिअनु ॥
Sāḏẖ janā kai sang bẖavjal ṯāri▫an.
In the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, we are carried across the terrifying world-ocean.

ਸਾਕਤ ਨਿੰਦਕ ਦੁਸਟ ਖਿਨ ਮਾਹਿ ਬਿਦਾਰਿਅਨੁ
साकत निंदक दुसट खिन माहि बिदारिअनु ॥
Sākaṯ ninḏak ḏusat kẖin māhi biḏāri▫an.
In an instant, You have destroyed the faithless cynics and slanderous enemies.

ਤਿਸੁ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਕੀ ਟੇਕ ਨਾਨਕ ਮਨੈ ਮਾਹਿ
तिसु साहिब की टेक नानक मनै माहि ॥
Ŧis sāhib kī tek Nānak manai māhi.
That Lord and Master is my Anchor and Support; O Nanak, hold firm in your mind.
