ਹਰਿ ਧਨ ਮੇਰੀ ਚਿੰਤ ਵਿਸਾਰੀ ਹਰਿ ਧਨਿ ਲਾਹਿਆ ਧੋਖਾ ॥
हरि धन मेरी चिंत विसारी हरि धनि लाहिआ धोखा ॥
Har ḏẖan merī cẖinṯ visārī har ḏẖan lāhi▫ā ḏẖokẖā.
Through the Lord's wealth I have forgotten my anxiety and through Lord's wealth my doubt is removed.

ਹਰਿ ਧਨ ਤੇ ਮੈ ਨਵ ਨਿਧਿ ਪਾਈ ਹਾਥਿ ਚਰਿਓ ਹਰਿ ਥੋਕਾ ॥੩॥
हरि धन ते मै नव निधि पाई हाथि चरिओ हरि थोका ॥३॥
Har ḏẖan ṯe mai nav niḏẖ pā▫ī hāth cẖari▫o har thokā. ||3||
From the wealth of Lord's Name, I have obtained the nine treasures and God the Real Substance has come to my hand.

ਖਾਵਹੁ ਖਰਚਹੁ ਤੋਟਿ ਨ ਆਵੈ ਹਲਤ ਪਲਤ ਕੈ ਸੰਗੇ ॥
खावहु खरचहु तोटि न आवै हलत पलत कै संगे ॥
Kāvahu kẖarcẖahu ṯot na āvai halaṯ palaṯ kai sange.
You eat, and spend this wealth it exhausts not and here and here after it shall remain with you.

ਲਾਦਿ ਖਜਾਨਾ ਗੁਰਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਕਉ ਦੀਆ ਇਹੁ ਮਨੁ ਹਰਿ ਰੰਗਿ ਰੰਗੇ ॥੪॥੨॥੩॥
लादि खजाना गुरि नानक कउ दीआ इहु मनु हरि रंगि रंगे ॥४॥२॥३॥
Lāḏ kẖajānā gur Nānak ka▫o ḏī▫ā ih man har rang range. ||4||2||3||
Loading the treasure the Guru has given it to Nanak and his mind is imbued with God's love.

ਜਿਸੁ ਸਿਮਰਤ ਸਭਿ ਕਿਲਵਿਖ ਨਾਸਹਿ ਪਿਤਰੀ ਹੋਇ ਉਧਾਰੋ ॥
जिसु सिमरत सभि किलविख नासहि पितरी होइ उधारो ॥
Jis simraṯ sabẖ kilvikẖ nāsėh piṯrī ho▫e uḏẖāro.
By remembering whom all the sins are obtained and the ancestors are saved.

ਸੋ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਤੁਮ੍ਹ੍ਹ ਸਦ ਹੀ ਜਾਪਹੁ ਜਾ ਕਾ ਅੰਤੁ ਨ ਪਾਰੋ ॥੧॥
सो हरि हरि तुम्ह सद ही जापहु जा का अंतु न पारो ॥१॥
So har har ṯumĥ saḏ hī jāpahu jā kā anṯ na pāro. ||1||
Ever meditate thou on that Lord God, who has end or limit.

ਪੂਤਾ ਮਾਤਾ ਕੀ ਆਸੀਸ ॥
पूता माता की आसीस ॥
Pūṯā māṯā kī āsīs.
O Son, this is thy mother's blessing.
|
ਨਿਮਖ ਨ ਬਿਸਰਉ ਤੁਮ੍ਹ੍ਹ ਕਉ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਸਦਾ ਭਜਹੁ ਜਗਦੀਸ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
निमख न बिसरउ तुम्ह कउ हरि हरि सदा भजहु जगदीस ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Nimakẖ na bisara▫o ṯumĥ ka▫o har har saḏā bẖajahu jagḏīs. ||1|| rahā▫o.
May thou forget not Lord God, even for a moment, and ever remember the Lord of Universe. Pause.

ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਤੁਮ੍ਹ੍ਹ ਕਉ ਹੋਇ ਦਇਆਲਾ ਸੰਤਸੰਗਿ ਤੇਰੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ॥
सतिगुरु तुम्ह कउ होइ दइआला संतसंगि तेरी प्रीति ॥
Saṯgur ṯumĥ ka▫o ho▫e ḏa▫i▫ālā saṯsang ṯerī parīṯ.
May the True Guru, be king unto thee and may thou imbibe love for the society of saints.

ਕਾਪੜੁ ਪਤਿ ਪਰਮੇਸਰੁ ਰਾਖੀ ਭੋਜਨੁ ਕੀਰਤਨੁ ਨੀਤਿ ॥੨॥
कापड़ु पति परमेसरु राखी भोजनु कीरतनु नीति ॥२॥
Kāpaṛ paṯ parmesar rākẖī bẖojan kīrṯan nīṯ. ||2||
May the preservation of thy honour by the Lord be thy raiment and singing of His praises thy daily food.

ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਪੀਵਹੁ ਸਦਾ ਚਿਰੁ ਜੀਵਹੁ ਹਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਤ ਅਨਦ ਅਨੰਤਾ ॥
अम्रितु पीवहु सदा चिरु जीवहु हरि सिमरत अनद अनंता ॥
Amriṯ pīvhu saḏā cẖir jīvhu har simraṯ anaḏ ananṯā.
Ever quaff the Nectar of God's Name. May thou live long and may the meditation of God afford thee endless delight.

ਰੰਗ ਤਮਾਸਾ ਪੂਰਨ ਆਸਾ ਕਬਹਿ ਨ ਬਿਆਪੈ ਚਿੰਤਾ ॥੩॥
रंग तमासा पूरन आसा कबहि न बिआपै चिंता ॥३॥
Rang ṯamāsā pūran āsā kabėh na bi▫āpai cẖinṯā. ||3||
May joy and playful pleasure by thine; may thine hopes be realised and may thou never be worn be care.

ਭਵਰੁ ਤੁਮ੍ਹ੍ਹਾਰਾ ਇਹੁ ਮਨੁ ਹੋਵਉ ਹਰਿ ਚਰਣਾ ਹੋਹੁ ਕਉਲਾ ॥
भवरु तुम्हारा इहु मनु होवउ हरि चरणा होहु कउला ॥
Bẖavar ṯumĥārā ih man hova▫o har cẖarṇā hohu ka▫ulā.
let this mind of thine become the humming black-bee and God's Feet be the lotus flower.

ਨਾਨਕ ਦਾਸੁ ਉਨ ਸੰਗਿ ਲਪਟਾਇਓ ਜਿਉ ਬੂੰਦਹਿ ਚਾਤ੍ਰਿਕੁ ਮਉਲਾ ॥੪॥੩॥੪॥
नानक दासु उन संगि लपटाइओ जिउ बूंदहि चात्रिकु मउला ॥४॥३॥४॥
Nānak ḏās un sang laptā▫i▫o ji▫o būʼnḏėh cẖāṯrik ma▫ulā. ||4||3||4||
Says slave Nanak, attach thy mind to them and happily bloom like the pied-cuckoo that rejoices on finding the rain drop.

ਮਤਾ ਕਰੈ ਪਛਮ ਕੈ ਤਾਈ ਪੂਰਬ ਹੀ ਲੈ ਜਾਤ ॥
मता करै पछम कै ताई पूरब ही लै जात ॥
Maṯā karai pacẖẖam kai ṯā▫ī pūrab hī lai jāṯ.
The man decides to go to the west, but is led away to the East, by the Lord.

ਖਿਨ ਮਹਿ ਥਾਪਿ ਉਥਾਪਨਹਾਰਾ ਆਪਨ ਹਾਥਿ ਮਤਾਤ ॥੧॥
खिन महि थापि उथापनहारा आपन हाथि मतात ॥१॥
Kẖin mėh thāp uthāpanhārā āpan hāth maṯāṯ. ||1||
In am instant, the Lord is potent to establish and destroy and He holds in His Hand
|
ਸਿਆਨਪ ਕਾਹੂ ਕਾਮਿ ਨ ਆਤ ॥
सिआनप काहू कामि न आत ॥
Si▫ānap kāhū kām na āṯ.
man's designs Man's sagacity is of no avail.
|
ਜੋ ਅਨਰੂਪਿਓ ਠਾਕੁਰਿ ਮੇਰੈ ਹੋਇ ਰਹੀ ਉਹ ਬਾਤ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
जो अनरूपिओ ठाकुरि मेरै होइ रही उह बात ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Jo anrūpi▫o ṯẖākur merai ho▫e rahī uh bāṯ. ||1|| rahā▫o.
Whatever my Lord deems to be right, that thing alone happen. Pause.

ਦੇਸੁ ਕਮਾਵਨ ਧਨ ਜੋਰਨ ਕੀ ਮਨਸਾ ਬੀਚੇ ਨਿਕਸੇ ਸਾਸ ॥
देसु कमावन धन जोरन की मनसा बीचे निकसे सास ॥
Ḏes kamāvan ḏẖan joran kī mansā bīcẖe nikse sās.
In his desire to acquire territory and to amass wealth, man breath escapes.

ਲਸਕਰ ਨੇਬ ਖਵਾਸ ਸਭ ਤਿਆਗੇ ਜਮ ਪੁਰਿ ਊਠਿ ਸਿਧਾਸ ॥੨॥
लसकर नेब खवास सभ तिआगे जम पुरि ऊठि सिधास ॥२॥
Laskar neb kẖavās sabẖ ṯi▫āge jam pur ūṯẖ siḏẖās. ||2||
He leaves all his armies, assistants and servants and getting up departs to the city of death.

ਹੋਇ ਅਨੰਨਿ ਮਨਹਠ ਕੀ ਦ੍ਰਿੜਤਾ ਆਪਸ ਕਉ ਜਾਨਾਤ ॥
होइ अनंनि मनहठ की द्रिड़ता आपस कउ जानात ॥
Ho▫e annan manhaṯẖ kī ḏariṛ▫ṯā āpas ka▫o jānāṯ.
Deeming himself unique, man sticks to his mind's obstinacy and displays his ownself.

ਜੋ ਅਨਿੰਦੁ ਨਿੰਦੁ ਕਰਿ ਛੋਡਿਓ ਸੋਈ ਫਿਰਿ ਫਿਰਿ ਖਾਤ ॥੩॥
जो अनिंदु निंदु करि छोडिओ सोई फिरि फिरि खात ॥३॥
Jo aninḏ ninḏ kar cẖẖodi▫o so▫ī fir fir kẖāṯ. ||3||
The food, which the blameless person have condemned and discarded, that he eats again and again.
|
ਸਹਜ ਸੁਭਾਇ ਭਏ ਕਿਰਪਾਲਾ ਤਿਸੁ ਜਨ ਕੀ ਕਾਟੀ ਫਾਸ ॥
सहज सुभाइ भए किरपाला तिसु जन की काटी फास ॥
Sahj subẖā▫e bẖa▫e kirpālā ṯis jan kī kātī fās.
He, unto whom the Lord spontaneously becomes merciful, that man's noose is cut off.

ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਗੁਰੁ ਪੂਰਾ ਭੇਟਿਆ ਪਰਵਾਣੁ ਗਿਰਸਤ ਉਦਾਸ ॥੪॥੪॥੫॥
कहु नानक गुरु पूरा भेटिआ परवाणु गिरसत उदास ॥४॥४॥५॥
Kaho Nānak gur pūrā bẖeti▫ā parvāṇ girsaṯ uḏās. ||4||4||5||
Says Nanak, the who meets the Perfect Guru, is approved whatever he is a family man or an anchoret.

ਨਾਮੁ ਨਿਧਾਨੁ ਜਿਨਿ ਜਨਿ ਜਪਿਓ ਤਿਨ ਕੇ ਬੰਧਨ ਕਾਟੇ ॥
नामु निधानु जिनि जनि जपिओ तिन के बंधन काटे ॥
Nām niḏẖān jin jan japi▫o ṯin ke banḏẖan kāte.
The Persons, who contemplate on the Name treasure, their shackles are shattered.

ਕਾਮ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਮਾਇਆ ਬਿਖੁ ਮਮਤਾ ਇਹ ਬਿਆਧਿ ਤੇ ਹਾਟੇ ॥੧॥
काम क्रोध माइआ बिखु ममता इह बिआधि ते हाटे ॥१॥
Kām kroḏẖ mā▫i▫ā bikẖ mamṯā ih bi▫āḏẖ ṯe hāte. ||1||
Lust, wrath, poisonous wealth and egoism, they get rid of these diseases.
|
ਹਰਿ ਜਸੁ ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿ ਮਿਲਿ ਗਾਇਓ ॥
हरि जसु साधसंगि मिलि गाइओ ॥
Har jas sāḏẖsang mil gā▫i▫o.
He, who joining the society of saints, sings God's praise,
|
ਗੁਰ ਪਰਸਾਦਿ ਭਇਓ ਮਨੁ ਨਿਰਮਲੁ ਸਰਬ ਸੁਖਾ ਸੁਖ ਪਾਇਅਉ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
गुर परसादि भइओ मनु निरमलु सरब सुखा सुख पाइअउ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Gur parsāḏ bẖa▫i▫o man nirmal sarab sukẖā sukẖ pā▫i▫a▫o. ||1|| rahā▫o.
has his mind purified by Guru's grace and obtains the joy of all the joys. Pause.
|
ਜੋ ਕਿਛੁ ਕੀਓ ਸੋਈ ਭਲ ਮਾਨੈ ਐਸੀ ਭਗਤਿ ਕਮਾਨੀ ॥
जो किछु कीओ सोई भल मानै ऐसी भगति कमानी ॥
Jo kicẖẖ kī▫o so▫ī bẖal mānai aisī bẖagaṯ kamānī.
Whatever the Lord does, that he deems good such is the devotional service that he perform.

ਮਿਤ੍ਰ ਸਤ੍ਰੁ ਸਭ ਏਕ ਸਮਾਨੇ ਜੋਗ ਜੁਗਤਿ ਨੀਸਾਨੀ ॥੨॥
मित्र सत्रु सभ एक समाने जोग जुगति नीसानी ॥२॥
Miṯar saṯar sabẖ ek samāne jog jugaṯ nīsānī. ||2||
To deem friends and enemies all as the same, is an index of the way to meet God.
|
ਪੂਰਨ ਪੂਰਿ ਰਹਿਓ ਸ੍ਰਬ ਥਾਈ ਆਨ ਨ ਕਤਹੂੰ ਜਾਤਾ ॥
पूरन पूरि रहिओ स्रब थाई आन न कतहूं जाता ॥
Pūran pūr rahi▫o sarab thā▫ī ān na kaṯahūʼn jāṯā.
The Omnipresent Lord is filling all the places, so I go not anywhere else.

ਘਟ ਘਟ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਸਰਬ ਨਿਰੰਤਰਿ ਰੰਗਿ ਰਵਿਓ ਰੰਗਿ ਰਾਤਾ ॥੩॥
घट घट अंतरि सरब निरंतरि रंगि रविओ रंगि राता ॥३॥
Gẖat gẖat anṯar sarab niranṯar rang ravi▫o rang rāṯā. ||3||
The Lord is an every heart and within all the places I am immersed in His love and dyed with His love.
|
ਭਏ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਲ ਦਇਆਲ ਗੁਪਾਲਾ ਤਾ ਨਿਰਭੈ ਕੈ ਘਰਿ ਆਇਆ ॥
भए क्रिपाल दइआल गुपाला ता निरभै कै घरि आइआ ॥
Bẖa▫e kirpāl ḏa▫i▫āl gupālā ṯā nirbẖai kai gẖar ā▫i▫ā.
When the world-Cherisher becomes king and compassionate, then, the man arrives at the abode of the Fearless One.
