ਉਨਮਨਿ ਮਨੂਆ ਸੁੰਨਿ ਸਮਾਨਾ ਦੁਬਿਧਾ ਦੁਰਮਤਿ ਭਾਗੀ
उनमनि मनूआ सुंनि समाना दुबिधा दुरमति भागी ॥
Unman manū▫ā sunn samānā ḏubiḏẖā ḏurmaṯ bẖāgī.
The disturbed mind has been absorbed in the Lord; duality and evil-mindedness have run away.

ਕਹੁ ਕਬੀਰ ਅਨਭਉ ਇਕੁ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮਿ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਗੀ ॥੪॥੨॥੪੬॥
कहु कबीर अनभउ इकु देखिआ राम नामि लिव लागी ॥४॥२॥४६॥
Kaho Kabīr anbẖa▫o ik ḏekẖi▫ā rām nām liv lāgī. ||4||2||46||
Says Kabeer, I have seen the One Lord, the Fearless One; I am attuned to the Name of the Lord. ||4||2||46||

ਗਉੜੀ ਬੈਰਾਗਣਿ ਤਿਪਦੇ
गउड़ी बैरागणि तिपदे ॥
Ga▫oṛī bairāgaṇ ṯipḏe.
Gauree Bairaagan, Ti-Padas:

ਉਲਟਤ ਪਵਨ ਚਕ੍ਰ ਖਟੁ ਭੇਦੇ ਸੁਰਤਿ ਸੁੰਨ ਅਨਰਾਗੀ
उलटत पवन चक्र खटु भेदे सुरति सुंन अनरागी ॥
Ultaṯ pavan cẖakar kẖat bẖeḏe suraṯ sunn anrāgī.
I turned my breath inwards, and pierced through the six chakras of the body, and my awareness was centered on the Primal Void of the Absolute Lord.

ਆਵੈ ਜਾਇ ਮਰੈ ਜੀਵੈ ਤਾਸੁ ਖੋਜੁ ਬੈਰਾਗੀ ॥੧॥
आवै न जाइ मरै न जीवै तासु खोजु बैरागी ॥१॥
Āvai na jā▫e marai na jīvai ṯās kẖoj bairāgī. ||1||
Search for the One who does not come or go, who does not die and is not born, O renunciate. ||1||

ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਮਨ ਹੀ ਉਲਟਿ ਸਮਾਨਾ
मेरे मन मन ही उलटि समाना ॥
Mere man man hī ulat samānā.
My mind has turned away from the world, and is absorbed in the Mind of God.

ਗੁਰ ਪਰਸਾਦਿ ਅਕਲਿ ਭਈ ਅਵਰੈ ਨਾਤਰੁ ਥਾ ਬੇਗਾਨਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ
गुर परसादि अकलि भई अवरै नातरु था बेगाना ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Gur parsāḏ akal bẖa▫ī avrai nāṯar thā begānā. ||1|| rahā▫o.
By Guru's Grace, my understanding has been changed; otherwise, I was totally ignorant. ||1||Pause||

ਨਿਵਰੈ ਦੂਰਿ ਦੂਰਿ ਫੁਨਿ ਨਿਵਰੈ ਜਿਨਿ ਜੈਸਾ ਕਰਿ ਮਾਨਿਆ
निवरै दूरि दूरि फुनि निवरै जिनि जैसा करि मानिआ ॥
Nivrai ḏūr ḏūr fun nivrai jin jaisā kar māni▫ā.
That which was near has become distant, and again, that which was distant is near, for those who realize the Lord as He is.

ਅਲਉਤੀ ਕਾ ਜੈਸੇ ਭਇਆ ਬਰੇਡਾ ਜਿਨਿ ਪੀਆ ਤਿਨਿ ਜਾਨਿਆ ॥੨॥
अलउती का जैसे भइआ बरेडा जिनि पीआ तिनि जानिआ ॥२॥
Aluṯī kā jaise bẖa▫i▫ā baredā jin pī▫ā ṯin jāni▫ā. ||2||
It is like the sugar water made from the candy; only one who drinks it knows its taste. ||2||

ਤੇਰੀ ਨਿਰਗੁਨ ਕਥਾ ਕਾਇ ਸਿਉ ਕਹੀਐ ਐਸਾ ਕੋਇ ਬਿਬੇਕੀ
तेरी निरगुन कथा काइ सिउ कहीऐ ऐसा कोइ बिबेकी ॥
Ŧerī nirgun kathā kā▫e si▫o kahī▫ai aisā ko▫e bibekī.
Unto whom should I speak Your speech, O Lord; it is beyond the three qualities. Is there anyone with such discerning wisdom?

ਕਹੁ ਕਬੀਰ ਜਿਨਿ ਦੀਆ ਪਲੀਤਾ ਤਿਨਿ ਤੈਸੀ ਝਲ ਦੇਖੀ ॥੩॥੩॥੪੭॥
कहु कबीर जिनि दीआ पलीता तिनि तैसी झल देखी ॥३॥३॥४७॥
Kaho Kabīr jin ḏī▫ā palīṯā ṯin ṯaisī jẖal ḏekẖī. ||3||3||47||
Says Kabeer, as is the fuse which you apply, so is the flash you will see. ||3||3||47||

ਗਉੜੀ
गउड़ी ॥
Ga▫oṛī.
Gauree:

ਤਹ ਪਾਵਸ ਸਿੰਧੁ ਧੂਪ ਨਹੀ ਛਹੀਆ ਤਹ ਉਤਪਤਿ ਪਰਲਉ ਨਾਹੀ
तह पावस सिंधु धूप नही छहीआ तह उतपति परलउ नाही ॥
Ŧah pāvas sinḏẖ ḏẖūp nahī cẖẖahī▫ā ṯah uṯpaṯ parla▫o nāhī.
There is no rainy season, ocean, sunshine or shade, no creation or destruction there.

ਜੀਵਨ ਮਿਰਤੁ ਦੁਖੁ ਸੁਖੁ ਬਿਆਪੈ ਸੁੰਨ ਸਮਾਧਿ ਦੋਊ ਤਹ ਨਾਹੀ ॥੧॥
जीवन मिरतु न दुखु सुखु बिआपै सुंन समाधि दोऊ तह नाही ॥१॥
Jīvan miraṯ na ḏukẖ sukẖ bi▫āpai sunn samāḏẖ ḏo▫ū ṯah nāhī. ||1||
No life or death, no pain or pleasure is felt there. There is only the Primal Trance of Samaadhi, and no duality. ||1||

ਸਹਜ ਕੀ ਅਕਥ ਕਥਾ ਹੈ ਨਿਰਾਰੀ
सहज की अकथ कथा है निरारी ॥
Sahj kī akath kathā hai nirārī.
The description of the state of intuitive poise is indescribable and sublime.

ਤੁਲਿ ਨਹੀ ਚਢੈ ਜਾਇ ਮੁਕਾਤੀ ਹਲੁਕੀ ਲਗੈ ਭਾਰੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ
तुलि नही चढै जाइ न मुकाती हलुकी लगै न भारी ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Ŧul nahī cẖadẖai jā▫e na mukāṯī halukī lagai na bẖārī. ||1|| rahā▫o.
It is not measured, and it is not exhausted. It is neither light nor heavy. ||1||Pause||

ਅਰਧ ਉਰਧ ਦੋਊ ਤਹ ਨਾਹੀ ਰਾਤਿ ਦਿਨਸੁ ਤਹ ਨਾਹੀ
अरध उरध दोऊ तह नाही राति दिनसु तह नाही ॥
Araḏẖ uraḏẖ ḏo▫ū ṯah nāhī rāṯ ḏinas ṯah nāhī.
Neither lower nor upper worlds are there; neither day nor night are there.

ਜਲੁ ਨਹੀ ਪਵਨੁ ਪਾਵਕੁ ਫੁਨਿ ਨਾਹੀ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਤਹਾ ਸਮਾਹੀ ॥੨॥
जलु नही पवनु पावकु फुनि नाही सतिगुर तहा समाही ॥२॥
Jal nahī pavan pāvak fun nāhī saṯgur ṯahā samāhī. ||2||
There is no water, wind or fire; there, the True Guru is contained. ||2||

ਅਗਮ ਅਗੋਚਰੁ ਰਹੈ ਨਿਰੰਤਰਿ ਗੁਰ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਤੇ ਲਹੀਐ
अगम अगोचरु रहै निरंतरि गुर किरपा ते लहीऐ ॥
Agam agocẖar rahai niranṯar gur kirpā ṯe lahī▫ai.
The Inaccessible and Unfathomable Lord dwells there within Himself; by Guru's Grace, He is found.

ਕਹੁ ਕਬੀਰ ਬਲਿ ਜਾਉ ਗੁਰ ਅਪੁਨੇ ਸਤਸੰਗਤਿ ਮਿਲਿ ਰਹੀਐ ॥੩॥੪॥੪੮॥
कहु कबीर बलि जाउ गुर अपुने सतसंगति मिलि रहीऐ ॥३॥४॥४८॥
Kaho Kabīr bal jā▫o gur apune saṯsangaṯ mil rahī▫ai. ||3||4||48||
Says Kabeer, I am a sacrifice to my Guru; I remain in the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy. ||3||4||48||

ਗਉੜੀ
गउड़ी ॥
Ga▫oṛī.
Gauree:

ਪਾਪੁ ਪੁੰਨੁ ਦੁਇ ਬੈਲ ਬਿਸਾਹੇ ਪਵਨੁ ਪੂਜੀ ਪਰਗਾਸਿਓ
पापु पुंनु दुइ बैल बिसाहे पवनु पूजी परगासिओ ॥
Pāp punn ḏu▫e bail bisāhe pavan pūjī pargāsi▫o.
With both sin and virtue, the ox of the body is purchased; the air of the breath is the capital which has appeared.

ਤ੍ਰਿਸਨਾ ਗੂਣਿ ਭਰੀ ਘਟ ਭੀਤਰਿ ਇਨ ਬਿਧਿ ਟਾਂਡ ਬਿਸਾਹਿਓ ॥੧॥
त्रिसना गूणि भरी घट भीतरि इन बिधि टांड बिसाहिओ ॥१॥
Ŧarisnā gūṇ bẖarī gẖat bẖīṯar in biḏẖ tāʼnd bisāhi▫o. ||1||
The bag on its back is filled with desire; this is how we purchase the herd. ||1||

ਐਸਾ ਨਾਇਕੁ ਰਾਮੁ ਹਮਾਰਾ
ऐसा नाइकु रामु हमारा ॥
Aisā nā▫ik rām hamārā.
My Lord is such a wealthy merchant!

ਸਗਲ ਸੰਸਾਰੁ ਕੀਓ ਬਨਜਾਰਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ
सगल संसारु कीओ बनजारा ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Sagal sansār kī▫o banjārā. ||1|| rahā▫o.
He has made the whole world his peddler. ||1||Pause||

ਕਾਮੁ ਕ੍ਰੋਧੁ ਦੁਇ ਭਏ ਜਗਾਤੀ ਮਨ ਤਰੰਗ ਬਟਵਾਰਾ
कामु क्रोधु दुइ भए जगाती मन तरंग बटवारा ॥
Kām kroḏẖ ḏu▫e bẖa▫e jagāṯī man ṯarang batvārā.
Sexual desire and anger are the tax-collectors, and the waves of the mind are the highway robbers.

ਪੰਚ ਤਤੁ ਮਿਲਿ ਦਾਨੁ ਨਿਬੇਰਹਿ ਟਾਂਡਾ ਉਤਰਿਓ ਪਾਰਾ ॥੨॥
पंच ततु मिलि दानु निबेरहि टांडा उतरिओ पारा ॥२॥
Pancẖ ṯaṯ mil ḏān niberėh tāʼndā uṯri▫o pārā. ||2||
The five elements join together and divide up their loot. This is how our herd is disposed of! ||2||

ਕਹਤ ਕਬੀਰੁ ਸੁਨਹੁ ਰੇ ਸੰਤਹੁ ਅਬ ਐਸੀ ਬਨਿ ਆਈ
कहत कबीरु सुनहु रे संतहु अब ऐसी बनि आई ॥
Kahaṯ Kabīr sunhu re sanṯahu ab aisī ban ā▫ī.
Says Kabeer, listen, O Saints: This is the state of affairs now!

ਘਾਟੀ ਚਢਤ ਬੈਲੁ ਇਕੁ ਥਾਕਾ ਚਲੋ ਗੋਨਿ ਛਿਟਕਾਈ ॥੩॥੫॥੪੯॥
घाटी चढत बैलु इकु थाका चलो गोनि छिटकाई ॥३॥५॥४९॥
Gẖātī cẖadẖaṯ bail ik thākā cẖalo gon cẖẖitkā▫ī. ||3||5||49||
Going uphill, the ox has grown weary; throwing off his load, he continues on his journey. ||3||5||49||

ਗਉੜੀ ਪੰਚਪਦਾ
गउड़ी पंचपदा ॥
Ga▫oṛī pancẖpaḏā.
Gauree, Panch-Padas:

ਪੇਵਕੜੈ ਦਿਨ ਚਾਰਿ ਹੈ ਸਾਹੁਰੜੈ ਜਾਣਾ
पेवकड़ै दिन चारि है साहुरड़ै जाणा ॥
Pevkaṛai ḏin cẖār hai sāhurṛai jāṇā.
For a few short days, the soul-bride stays in her parent's house; then, she must go to her in-laws.

ਅੰਧਾ ਲੋਕੁ ਜਾਣਈ ਮੂਰਖੁ ਏਆਣਾ ॥੧॥
अंधा लोकु न जाणई मूरखु एआणा ॥१॥
Anḏẖā lok na jāṇ▫ī mūrakẖ e▫āṇā. ||1||
The blind, foolish and ignorant people do not know this. ||1||

ਕਹੁ ਡਡੀਆ ਬਾਧੈ ਧਨ ਖੜੀ
कहु डडीआ बाधै धन खड़ी ॥
Kaho dadī▫ā bāḏẖai ḏẖan kẖaṛī.
Tell me, why is the bride wearing her ordinary clothes?

ਪਾਹੂ ਘਰਿ ਆਏ ਮੁਕਲਾਊ ਆਏ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ
पाहू घरि आए मुकलाऊ आए ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Pāhū gẖar ā▫e muklā▫ū ā▫e. ||1|| rahā▫o.
The guests have arrived at her home, and her Husband has come to take her away. ||1||Pause||

ਓਹ ਜਿ ਦਿਸੈ ਖੂਹੜੀ ਕਉਨ ਲਾਜੁ ਵਹਾਰੀ
ओह जि दिसै खूहड़ी कउन लाजु वहारी ॥
Oh jė ḏisai kẖūhṛī ka▫un lāj vahārī.
Who has lowered the rope of the breath down, into the well of the world which we see?

ਲਾਜੁ ਘੜੀ ਸਿਉ ਤੂਟਿ ਪੜੀ ਉਠਿ ਚਲੀ ਪਨਿਹਾਰੀ ॥੨॥
लाजु घड़ी सिउ तूटि पड़ी उठि चली पनिहारी ॥२॥
Lāj gẖaṛī si▫o ṯūt paṛī uṯẖ cẖalī panihārī. ||2||
The rope of the breath breaks away from the pitcher of the body, and the water-carrier gets up and departs. ||2||

ਸਾਹਿਬੁ ਹੋਇ ਦਇਆਲੁ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕਰੇ ਅਪੁਨਾ ਕਾਰਜੁ ਸਵਾਰੇ
साहिबु होइ दइआलु क्रिपा करे अपुना कारजु सवारे ॥
Sāhib ho▫e ḏa▫i▫āl kirpā kare apunā kāraj savāre.
When the Lord and Master is kind and grants His Grace, then her affairs are all resolved.

ਤਾ ਸੋਹਾਗਣਿ ਜਾਣੀਐ ਗੁਰ ਸਬਦੁ ਬੀਚਾਰੇ ॥੩॥
ता सोहागणि जाणीऐ गुर सबदु बीचारे ॥३॥
Ŧā sohagaṇ jāṇī▫ai gur sabaḏ bīcẖāre. ||3||
Then she is known as the happy soul-bride, if she contemplates the Word of the Guru's Shabad. ||3||
