ਜਨ ਕੀ ਟੇਕ ਏਕ ਗੋਪਾਲ ॥
Jan kī tek ek gopāl.
The One Lord of the Universe is the Support of His humble servants.

ਏਕਾ ਲਿਵ ਏਕੋ ਮਨਿ ਭਾਉ ॥
Ėkā liv eko man bẖā▫o.
They love the One Lord; their minds are filled with love for the Lord.
|
ਸਰਬ ਨਿਧਾਨ ਜਨ ਕੈ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਉ ॥੩॥
Sarab niḏẖān jan kai har nā▫o. ||3||
The Name of the Lord is all treasures for them. ||3||
|
ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਸਿਉ ਲਾਗੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ॥
Pārbarahm si▫o lāgī parīṯ.
They are in love with the Supreme Lord God;
|
ਨਿਰਮਲ ਕਰਣੀ ਸਾਚੀ ਰੀਤਿ ॥
Nirmal karṇī sācẖī rīṯ.
their actions are pure, and their lifestyle is true.
|
ਗੁਰਿ ਪੂਰੈ ਮੇਟਿਆ ਅੰਧਿਆਰਾ ॥
Gur pūrai meti▫ā anḏẖi▫ārā.
The Perfect Guru has dispelled the darkness.
|
ਨਾਨਕ ਕਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਅਪਰ ਅਪਾਰਾ ॥੪॥੨੪॥੯੩॥
Nānak kā parabẖ apar apārā. ||4||24||93||
Nanak's God is Incomparable and Infinite. ||4||24||93||

ਗਉੜੀ ਗੁਆਰੇਰੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥
Ga▫oṛī gu▫ārerī mėhlā 5.
Gauree Gwaarayree, Fifth Mehl:

ਜਿਸੁ ਮਨਿ ਵਸੈ ਤਰੈ ਜਨੁ ਸੋਇ ॥
Jis man vasai ṯarai jan so▫e.
Those whose minds are filled with the Lord, swim across.
|
ਜਾ ਕੈ ਕਰਮਿ ਪਰਾਪਤਿ ਹੋਇ ॥
Jā kai karam parāpaṯ ho▫e.
Those who have the blessing of good karma, meet with the Lord.
|
ਦੂਖੁ ਰੋਗੁ ਕਛੁ ਭਉ ਨ ਬਿਆਪੈ ॥
Ḏūkẖ rog kacẖẖ bẖa▫o na bi▫āpai.
Pain, disease and fear do not affect them at all.
|
ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਨਾਮੁ ਰਿਦੈ ਹਰਿ ਜਾਪੈ ॥੧॥
Amriṯ nām riḏai har jāpai. ||1||
They meditate on the Ambrosial Name of the Lord within their hearts. ||1||
|
ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਪਰਮੇਸੁਰੁ ਧਿਆਈਐ ॥
Pārbarahm parmesur ḏẖi▫ā▫ī▫ai.
Meditate on the Supreme Lord God, the Transcendent Lord.
|
ਗੁਰ ਪੂਰੇ ਤੇ ਇਹ ਮਤਿ ਪਾਈਐ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Gur pūre ṯe ih maṯ pā▫ī▫ai. ||1|| rahā▫o.
From the Perfect Guru, this understanding is obtained. ||1||Pause||
|
ਕਰਣ ਕਰਾਵਨਹਾਰ ਦਇਆਲ ॥
Karaṇ karāvanhār ḏa▫i▫āl.
The Merciful Lord is the Doer, the Cause of causes.
|
ਜੀਅ ਜੰਤ ਸਗਲੇ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਾਲ ॥
Jī▫a janṯ sagle parṯipāl.
He cherishes and nurtures all beings and creatures.
|
ਅਗਮ ਅਗੋਚਰ ਸਦਾ ਬੇਅੰਤਾ ॥
Agam agocẖar saḏā be▫anṯā.
He is Inaccessible, Incomprehensible, Eternal and Infinite.
|
ਸਿਮਰਿ ਮਨਾ ਪੂਰੇ ਗੁਰ ਮੰਤਾ ॥੨॥
Simar manā pūre gur mannṯā. ||2||
Meditate on Him, O my mind, through the Teachings of the Perfect Guru. ||2||
|
ਜਾ ਕੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਸਰਬ ਨਿਧਾਨੁ ॥
Jā kī sevā sarab niḏẖān.
Serving Him, all treasures are obtained.
|
ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੀ ਪੂਜਾ ਪਾਈਐ ਮਾਨੁ ॥
Parabẖ kī pūjā pā▫ī▫ai mān.
Worshipping God, honor is obtained.
|
ਜਾ ਕੀ ਟਹਲ ਨ ਬਿਰਥੀ ਜਾਇ ॥
Jā kī tahal na birthī jā▫e.
Working for Him is never in vain;
|
ਸਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਇ ॥੩॥
Saḏā saḏā har ke guṇ gā▫e. ||3||
forever and ever, sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord. ||3||
|
ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ ॥
Kar kirpā parabẖ anṯarjāmī.
Show Mercy to me, O God, O Searcher of hearts.
|
ਸੁਖ ਨਿਧਾਨ ਹਰਿ ਅਲਖ ਸੁਆਮੀ ॥
Sukẖ niḏẖān har alakẖ su▫āmī.
The Unseen Lord and Master is the Treasure of Peace.
|
ਜੀਅ ਜੰਤ ਤੇਰੀ ਸਰਣਾਈ ॥
Jī▫a janṯ ṯerī sarṇā▫ī.
All beings and creatures seek Your Sanctuary;
|
ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮੁ ਮਿਲੈ ਵਡਿਆਈ ॥੪॥੨੫॥੯੪॥
Nānak nām milai vadi▫ā▫ī. ||4||25||94||
Nanak is blessed to receive the greatness of the Naam, the Name of the Lord. ||4||25||94||

ਜੀਅ ਜੁਗਤਿ ਜਾ ਕੈ ਹੈ ਹਾਥ ॥
Jī▫a jugaṯ jā kai hai hāth.
Our way of life is in His Hands;
|
ਸੋ ਸਿਮਰਹੁ ਅਨਾਥ ਕੋ ਨਾਥੁ ॥
So simrahu anāth ko nāth.
remember Him, the Master of the masterless.
|
ਪ੍ਰਭ ਚਿਤਿ ਆਏ ਸਭੁ ਦੁਖੁ ਜਾਇ ॥
Parabẖ cẖiṯ ā▫e sabẖ ḏukẖ jā▫e.
When God comes to mind, all pains depart.
|
ਭੈ ਸਭ ਬਿਨਸਹਿ ਹਰਿ ਕੈ ਨਾਇ ॥੧॥
Bẖai sabẖ binsahi har kai nā▫e. ||1||
All fears are dispelled through the Name of the Lord. ||1||
|
ਬਿਨੁ ਹਰਿ ਭਉ ਕਾਹੇ ਕਾ ਮਾਨਹਿ ॥
Bin har bẖa▫o kāhe kā mānėh.
Why do you fear any other than the Lord?
|
ਹਰਿ ਬਿਸਰਤ ਕਾਹੇ ਸੁਖੁ ਜਾਨਹਿ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Har bisraṯ kāhe sukẖ jānėh. ||1|| rahā▫o.
Forgetting the Lord, why do you pretend to be at peace? ||1||Pause||
|
ਜਿਨਿ ਧਾਰੇ ਬਹੁ ਧਰਣਿ ਅਗਾਸ ॥
Jin ḏẖāre baho ḏẖaraṇ agās.
He established the many worlds and skies.
|
ਜਾ ਕੀ ਜੋਤਿ ਜੀਅ ਪਰਗਾਸ ॥
Jā kī joṯ jī▫a pargās.
The soul is illumined with His Light;
|
ਜਾ ਕੀ ਬਖਸ ਨ ਮੇਟੈ ਕੋਇ ॥
Jā kī bakẖas na metai ko▫e.
no one can revoke His Blessing.
|
ਸਿਮਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਨਿਰਭਉ ਹੋਇ ॥੨॥
Simar simar parabẖ nirbẖa▫o ho▫e. ||2||
Meditate, meditate in remembrance on God, and become fearless. ||2||
|
ਆਠ ਪਹਰ ਸਿਮਰਹੁ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਨਾਮੁ ॥
Āṯẖ pahar simrahu parabẖ nām.
Twenty-four hours a day, meditate in remembrance on God's Name.
|
ਅਨਿਕ ਤੀਰਥ ਮਜਨੁ ਇਸਨਾਨੁ ॥
Anik ṯirath majan isnān.
In it are the many sacred shrines of pilgrimage and cleansing baths.
|
ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਕੀ ਸਰਣੀ ਪਾਹਿ ॥
Pārbarahm kī sarṇī pāhi.
Seek the Sanctuary of the Supreme Lord God.
|
ਕੋਟਿ ਕਲੰਕ ਖਿਨ ਮਹਿ ਮਿਟਿ ਜਾਹਿ ॥੩॥
Kot kalank kẖin mėh mit jāhi. ||3||
Millions of mistakes shall be erased in an instant. ||3||
|
ਬੇਮੁਹਤਾਜੁ ਪੂਰਾ ਪਾਤਿਸਾਹੁ ॥
Bemuhṯāj pūrā pāṯisāhu.
The Perfect King is self-sufficient.
|
ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸੇਵਕ ਸਾਚਾ ਵੇਸਾਹੁ ॥
Parabẖ sevak sācẖā vesāhu.
God's servant has true faith in Him.
|
ਗੁਰਿ ਪੂਰੈ ਰਾਖੇ ਦੇ ਹਾਥ ॥
Gur pūrai rākẖe ḏe hāth.
Giving him His Hand, the Perfect Guru protects him.
|
ਨਾਨਕ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਸਮਰਾਥ ॥੪॥੨੬॥੯੫॥
Nānak pārbarahm samrāth. ||4||26||95||
O Nanak, the Supreme Lord God is All-powerful. ||4||26||95||

Gur parsāḏ nām man lāgā.
By Guru's Grace, my mind is attached to the Naam, the Name of the Lord.

ਜਨਮ ਜਨਮ ਕਾ ਸੋਇਆ ਜਾਗਾ ॥
Janam janam kā so▫i▫ā jāgā.
Asleep for so many incarnations, it is now awakened.
|
ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਗੁਣ ਉਚਰੈ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਬਾਣੀ ॥
Amriṯ guṇ ucẖrai parabẖ baṇī.
I chant the Ambrosial Bani, the Glorious Praises of God.
|
ਪੂਰੇ ਗੁਰ ਕੀ ਸੁਮਤਿ ਪਰਾਣੀ ॥੧॥
Pūre gur kī sumaṯ parāṇī. ||1||
The Pure Teachings of the Perfect Guru have been revealed to me. ||1||
|
ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸਿਮਰਤ ਕੁਸਲ ਸਭਿ ਪਾਏ ॥
Parabẖ simraṯ kusal sabẖ pā▫e.
Meditating in remembrance on God, I have found total peace.
|
ਘਰਿ ਬਾਹਰਿ ਸੁਖ ਸਹਜ ਸਬਾਏ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Gẖar bāhar sukẖ sahj sabā▫e. ||1|| rahā▫o.
Within my home, and outside as well, there is peace and poise all around. ||1||Pause||
|
ਸੋਈ ਪਛਾਤਾ ਜਿਨਹਿ ਉਪਾਇਆ ॥
So▫ī pacẖẖāṯā jinėh upā▫i▫ā.
I have recognized the One who created me.
|
ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਆਪਿ ਮਿਲਾਇਆ ॥
Kar kirpā parabẖ āp milā▫i▫ā.
Showing His Mercy, God has blended me with Himself.
|
ਬਾਹ ਪਕਰਿ ਲੀਨੋ ਕਰਿ ਅਪਨਾ ॥
Bāh pakar līno kar apnā.
Taking me by the arm, He has made me His Own.
|
ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਕਥਾ ਸਦਾ ਜਪੁ ਜਪਨਾ ॥੨॥
Har har kathā saḏā jap japnā. ||2||
I continually chant and meditate on the Sermon of the Lord, Har, Har. ||2||
|
ਮੰਤ੍ਰੁ ਤੰਤ੍ਰੁ ਅਉਖਧੁ ਪੁਨਹਚਾਰੁ ॥
Manṯar ṯanṯar a▫ukẖaḏẖ punahcẖār.
