ਕਰਮਾ ਉਪਰਿ ਨਿਬੜੈ ਜੇ ਲੋਚੈ ਸਭੁ ਕੋਇ ॥੩॥
करमा उपरि निबड़ै जे लोचै सभु कोइ ॥३॥
Karmā upar nibṛai je locẖai sabẖ ko▫e. ||3||
According to the karma of past actions, one's destiny unfolds, even though everyone wants to be so lucky. ||3||

ਨਾਨਕ ਕਰਣਾ ਜਿਨਿ ਕੀਆ ਸੋਈ ਸਾਰ ਕਰੇਇ
नानक करणा जिनि कीआ सोई सार करेइ ॥
Nānak karṇā jin kī▫ā so▫ī sār kare▫i.
O Nanak, the One who created the creation - He alone takes care of it.

ਹੁਕਮੁ ਜਾਪੀ ਖਸਮ ਕਾ ਕਿਸੈ ਵਡਾਈ ਦੇਇ ॥੪॥੧॥੧੮॥
हुकमु न जापी खसम का किसै वडाई देइ ॥४॥१॥१८॥
Hukam na jāpī kẖasam kā kisai vadā▫ī ḏe▫e. ||4||1||18||
The Hukam of our Lord and Master's Command cannot be known; He Himself blesses us with greatness. ||4||1||18||

ਗਉੜੀ ਬੈਰਾਗਣਿ ਮਹਲਾ
गउड़ी बैरागणि महला १ ॥
Ga▫oṛī bairāgaṇ mėhlā 1.
Gauree Bairaagan, First Mehl:

ਹਰਣੀ ਹੋਵਾ ਬਨਿ ਬਸਾ ਕੰਦ ਮੂਲ ਚੁਣਿ ਖਾਉ
हरणी होवा बनि बसा कंद मूल चुणि खाउ ॥
Harṇī hovā ban basā kanḏ mūl cẖuṇ kẖā▫o.
What if I were to become a deer, and live in the forest, picking and eating fruits and roots -

ਗੁਰ ਪਰਸਾਦੀ ਮੇਰਾ ਸਹੁ ਮਿਲੈ ਵਾਰਿ ਵਾਰਿ ਹਉ ਜਾਉ ਜੀਉ ॥੧॥
गुर परसादी मेरा सहु मिलै वारि वारि हउ जाउ जीउ ॥१॥
Gur parsādī merā saho milai vār vār ha▫o jā▫o jī▫o. ||1||
by Guru's Grace, I am a sacrifice to my Master. Again and again, I am a sacrifice, a sacrifice. ||1||

ਮੈ ਬਨਜਾਰਨਿ ਰਾਮ ਕੀ
मै बनजारनि राम की ॥
Mai banjāran rām kī.
I am the shop-keeper of the Lord.

ਤੇਰਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਵਖਰੁ ਵਾਪਾਰੁ ਜੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ
तेरा नामु वखरु वापारु जी ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Ŧerā nām vakẖar vāpār jī. ||1|| rahā▫o.
Your Name is my merchandise and trade. ||1||Pause||

ਕੋਕਿਲ ਹੋਵਾ ਅੰਬਿ ਬਸਾ ਸਹਜਿ ਸਬਦ ਬੀਚਾਰੁ
कोकिल होवा अम्बि बसा सहजि सबद बीचारु ॥
Kokil hovā amb basā sahj sabaḏ bīcẖār.
If I were to become a cuckoo, living in a mango tree, I would still contemplate the Word of the Shabad.

ਸਹਜਿ ਸੁਭਾਇ ਮੇਰਾ ਸਹੁ ਮਿਲੈ ਦਰਸਨਿ ਰੂਪਿ ਅਪਾਰੁ ॥੨॥
सहजि सुभाइ मेरा सहु मिलै दरसनि रूपि अपारु ॥२॥
Sahj subẖā▫e merā saho milai ḏarsan rūp apār. ||2||
I would still meet my Lord and Master, with intuitive ease; the Darshan, the Blessed Vision of His Form, is incomparably beautiful. ||2||

ਮਛੁਲੀ ਹੋਵਾ ਜਲਿ ਬਸਾ ਜੀਅ ਜੰਤ ਸਭਿ ਸਾਰਿ
मछुली होवा जलि बसा जीअ जंत सभि सारि ॥
Macẖẖulī hovā jal basā jī▫a janṯ sabẖ sār.
If I were to become a fish, living in the water, I would still remember the Lord, who watches over all beings and creatures.

ਉਰਵਾਰਿ ਪਾਰਿ ਮੇਰਾ ਸਹੁ ਵਸੈ ਹਉ ਮਿਲਉਗੀ ਬਾਹ ਪਸਾਰਿ ॥੩॥
उरवारि पारि मेरा सहु वसै हउ मिलउगी बाह पसारि ॥३॥
Urvār pār merā saho vasai ha▫o mila▫ugī bāh pasār. ||3||
My Husband Lord dwells on this shore, and on the shore beyond; I would still meet Him, and hug Him close in my embrace. ||3||

ਨਾਗਨਿ ਹੋਵਾ ਧਰ ਵਸਾ ਸਬਦੁ ਵਸੈ ਭਉ ਜਾਇ
नागनि होवा धर वसा सबदु वसै भउ जाइ ॥
Nāgan hovā ḏẖar vasā sabaḏ vasai bẖa▫o jā▫e.
If I were to become a snake, living in the ground, the Shabad would still dwell in my mind, and my fears would be dispelled.

ਨਾਨਕ ਸਦਾ ਸੋਹਾਗਣੀ ਜਿਨ ਜੋਤੀ ਜੋਤਿ ਸਮਾਇ ॥੪॥੨॥੧੯॥
नानक सदा सोहागणी जिन जोती जोति समाइ ॥४॥२॥१९॥
Nānak saḏā sohāgaṇī jin joṯī joṯ samā▫e. ||4||2||19||
O Nanak, they are forever the happy soul-brides, whose light merges into His Light. ||4||2||19||

ਗਉੜੀ ਪੂਰਬੀ ਦੀਪਕੀ ਮਹਲਾ
गउड़ी पूरबी दीपकी महला १
Ga▫oṛī pūrbī ḏīpkī mėhlā 1
Gauree Poorbee Deepkee, First Mehl:

ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ
ੴ सतिगुर प्रसादि ॥
Ik▫oaʼnkār saṯgur parsāḏ.
One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:

ਜੈ ਘਰਿ ਕੀਰਤਿ ਆਖੀਐ ਕਰਤੇ ਕਾ ਹੋਇ ਬੀਚਾਰੋ
जै घरि कीरति आखीऐ करते का होइ बीचारो ॥
Jai gẖar kīraṯ ākẖī▫ai karṯe kā ho▫e bīcẖāro.
In that house where the Praises of the Creator are chanted -

ਤਿਤੁ ਘਰਿ ਗਾਵਹੁ ਸੋਹਿਲਾ ਸਿਵਰਹੁ ਸਿਰਜਣਹਾਰੋ ॥੧॥
तितु घरि गावहु सोहिला सिवरहु सिरजणहारो ॥१॥
Ŧiṯ gẖar gāvhu sohilā sivrahu sirjaṇhāro. ||1||
in that house, sing the Songs of Praise, and meditate in remembrance on the Creator Lord. ||1||

ਤੁਮ ਗਾਵਹੁ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਿਰਭਉ ਕਾ ਸੋਹਿਲਾ
तुम गावहु मेरे निरभउ का सोहिला ॥
Ŧum gāvhu mere nirbẖa▫o kā sohilā.
Sing the Songs of Praise of my Fearless Lord.

ਹਉ ਵਾਰੀ ਜਾਉ ਜਿਤੁ ਸੋਹਿਲੈ ਸਦਾ ਸੁਖੁ ਹੋਇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ
हउ वारी जाउ जितु सोहिलै सदा सुखु होइ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Ha▫o vārī jā▫o jiṯ sohilai saḏā sukẖ ho▫e. ||1|| rahā▫o.
I am a sacrifice to that Song of Praise which brings eternal peace. ||1||Pause||

ਨਿਤ ਨਿਤ ਜੀਅੜੇ ਸਮਾਲੀਅਨਿ ਦੇਖੈਗਾ ਦੇਵਣਹਾਰੁ
नित नित जीअड़े समालीअनि देखैगा देवणहारु ॥
Niṯ niṯ jī▫aṛe samālī▫an ḏekẖaigā ḏevaṇhār.
Day after day, He cares for His beings; the Great Giver watches over all.

ਤੇਰੇ ਦਾਨੈ ਕੀਮਤਿ ਨਾ ਪਵੈ ਤਿਸੁ ਦਾਤੇ ਕਵਣੁ ਸੁਮਾਰੁ ॥੨॥
तेरे दानै कीमति ना पवै तिसु दाते कवणु सुमारु ॥२॥
Ŧere ḏānai kīmaṯ nā pavai ṯis ḏāṯe kavaṇ sumār. ||2||
Your gifts cannot be appraised; how can anyone compare to the Giver? ||2||

ਸੰਬਤਿ ਸਾਹਾ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਮਿਲਿ ਕਰਿ ਪਾਵਹੁ ਤੇਲੁ
स्मबति साहा लिखिआ मिलि करि पावहु तेलु ॥
Sambaṯ sāhā likẖi▫ā mil kar pāvhu ṯel.
The day of my wedding is pre-ordained. Come - let's gather together and pour the oil over the threshold.

ਦੇਹੁ ਸਜਣ ਆਸੀਸੜੀਆ ਜਿਉ ਹੋਵੈ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਸਿਉ ਮੇਲੁ ॥੩॥
देहु सजण आसीसड़ीआ जिउ होवै साहिब सिउ मेलु ॥३॥
Ḏeh sajaṇ āsīsṛī▫ā ji▫o hovai sāhib si▫o mel. ||3||
My friends, give me your blessings, that I may merge with my Lord and Master. ||3||

ਘਰਿ ਘਰਿ ਏਹੋ ਪਾਹੁਚਾ ਸਦੜੇ ਨਿਤ ਪਵੰਨਿ
घरि घरि एहो पाहुचा सदड़े नित पवंनि ॥
Gẖar gẖar eho pāhucẖā saḏ▫ṛe niṯ pavann.
Unto each and every home, into each and every heart, this summons is sent out; the call comes each and every day.

ਸਦਣਹਾਰਾ ਸਿਮਰੀਐ ਨਾਨਕ ਸੇ ਦਿਹ ਆਵੰਨਿ ॥੪॥੧॥੨੦॥
सदणहारा सिमरीऐ नानक से दिह आवंनि ॥४॥१॥२०॥
Saḏaṇhārā simrī▫ai Nānak se ḏih āvann. ||4||1||20||
Remember in meditation the One who summons us; O Nanak, that day is drawing near! ||4||1||20||

ਰਾਗੁ ਗਉੜੀ ਗੁਆਰੇਰੀ
रागु गउड़ी गुआरेरी ॥
Rāg ga▫oṛī gu▫ārerī.
Raag Gauree Gwaarayree:

ਮਹਲਾ ਚਉਪਦੇ
महला ३ चउपदे ॥
Mėhlā 3 cẖa▫upḏe.
Third Mehl, Chau-Padas:

ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ
ੴ सतिगुर प्रसादि ॥
Ik▫oaʼnkār saṯgur parsāḏ.
One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:

ਗੁਰਿ ਮਿਲਿਐ ਹਰਿ ਮੇਲਾ ਹੋਈ
गुरि मिलिऐ हरि मेला होई ॥
Gur mili▫ai har melā ho▫ī.
Meeting the Guru, we meet the Lord.

ਆਪੇ ਮੇਲਿ ਮਿਲਾਵੈ ਸੋਈ
आपे मेलि मिलावै सोई ॥
Āpe mel milāvai so▫ī.
He Himself unites us in His Union.

ਮੇਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਸਭ ਬਿਧਿ ਆਪੇ ਜਾਣੈ
मेरा प्रभु सभ बिधि आपे जाणै ॥
Merā parabẖ sabẖ biḏẖ āpe jāṇai.
My God knows all His Own Ways.

ਹੁਕਮੇ ਮੇਲੇ ਸਬਦਿ ਪਛਾਣੈ ॥੧॥
हुकमे मेले सबदि पछाणै ॥१॥
Hukme mele sabaḏ pacẖẖāṇai. ||1||
By the Hukam of His Command, He unites those who recognize the Word of the Shabad. ||1||

ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਕੈ ਭਇ ਭ੍ਰਮੁ ਭਉ ਜਾਇ
सतिगुर कै भइ भ्रमु भउ जाइ ॥
Saṯgur kai bẖa▫e bẖaram bẖa▫o jā▫e.
By the Fear of the True Guru, doubt and fear are dispelled.

ਭੈ ਰਾਚੈ ਸਚ ਰੰਗਿ ਸਮਾਇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ
भै राचै सच रंगि समाइ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Bẖai rācẖai sacẖ rang samā▫e. ||1|| rahā▫o.
Imbued with His Fear, we are absorbed in the Love of the True One. ||1||Pause||

ਗੁਰਿ ਮਿਲਿਐ ਹਰਿ ਮਨਿ ਵਸੈ ਸੁਭਾਇ
गुरि मिलिऐ हरि मनि वसै सुभाइ ॥
Gur mili▫ai har man vasai subẖā▫e.
Meeting the Guru, the Lord naturally dwells within the mind.

ਮੇਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਭਾਰਾ ਕੀਮਤਿ ਨਹੀ ਪਾਇ
मेरा प्रभु भारा कीमति नही पाइ ॥
Merā parabẖ bẖārā kīmaṯ nahī pā▫e.
My God is Great and Almighty; His value cannot be estimated.

ਸਬਦਿ ਸਾਲਾਹੈ ਅੰਤੁ ਪਾਰਾਵਾਰੁ
सबदि सालाहै अंतु न पारावारु ॥
Sabaḏ salāhai anṯ na pārāvār.
Through the Shabad, I praise Him; He has no end or limitations.

ਮੇਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਬਖਸੇ ਬਖਸਣਹਾਰੁ ॥੨॥
मेरा प्रभु बखसे बखसणहारु ॥२॥
Merā parabẖ bakẖse bakẖsaṇhār. ||2||
My God is the Forgiver. I pray that He may forgive me. ||2||

ਗੁਰਿ ਮਿਲਿਐ ਸਭ ਮਤਿ ਬੁਧਿ ਹੋਇ
गुरि मिलिऐ सभ मति बुधि होइ ॥
Gur mili▫ai sabẖ maṯ buḏẖ ho▫e.
Meeting the Guru, all wisdom and understanding are obtained.
