ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਜਪਹੁ ਜਨ ਭਾਈ ॥
हरि हरि नामु जपहु जन भाई ॥
Har har nām japahu jan bẖā▫ī.
O my fellow brethren, utter ye the Name of my Lord God.

ਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ਮਨੁ ਅਸਥਿਰੁ ਹੋਵੈ ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਹਰਿ ਰਸਿ ਰਹਿਆ ਅਘਾਈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
गुर प्रसादि मनु असथिरु होवै अनदिनु हरि रसि रहिआ अघाई ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Gur parsāḏ man asthir hovai an▫ḏin har ras rahi▫ā agẖā▫ī. ||1|| rahā▫o.
By the Guru's grace, the mind becomes equipoised and night and day remains satiated with the Lord's elixir. Pause.

ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਭਗਤਿ ਕਰਹੁ ਦਿਨੁ ਰਾਤੀ ਇਸੁ ਜੁਗ ਕਾ ਲਾਹਾ ਭਾਈ ॥
अनदिनु भगति करहु दिनु राती इसु जुग का लाहा भाई ॥
An▫ḏin bẖagaṯ karahu ḏin rāṯī is jug kā lāhā bẖā▫ī.
Day and night, ever perform thou thy Lord's devotional service. This is the only profit of this age, O brother.

ਸਦਾ ਜਨ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਮੈਲੁ ਨ ਲਾਗੈ ਸਚਿ ਨਾਮਿ ਚਿਤੁ ਲਾਈ ॥੨॥
सदा जन निरमल मैलु न लागै सचि नामि चितु लाई ॥२॥
Saḏā jan nirmal mail na lāgai sacẖ nām cẖiṯ lā▫ī. ||2||
The persons, who attune their attention to the True Name are ever immaculate and no filth attaches to them.

ਸੁਖੁ ਸੀਗਾਰੁ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦਿਖਾਇਆ ਨਾਮਿ ਵਡੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ॥
सुखु सीगारु सतिगुरू दिखाइआ नामि वडी वडिआई ॥
Sukẖ sīgār saṯgurū ḏikẖā▫i▫ā nām vadī vadi▫ā▫ī.
The peace-giving ornamentation, the True Guru has shown to me. Great is the greatness of the Lord's Name.

ਅਖੁਟ ਭੰਡਾਰ ਭਰੇ ਕਦੇ ਤੋਟਿ ਨ ਆਵੈ ਸਦਾ ਹਰਿ ਸੇਵਹੁ ਭਾਈ ॥੩॥
अखुट भंडार भरे कदे तोटि न आवै सदा हरि सेवहु भाई ॥३॥
Akẖut bẖandār bẖare kaḏe ṯot na āvai saḏā har sevhu bẖā▫ī. ||3||
O brother, ever serve thou thy God, brimful are whose inexhaustible treasures, which run not short ever.

ਆਪੇ ਕਰਤਾ ਜਿਸ ਨੋ ਦੇਵੈ ਤਿਸੁ ਵਸੈ ਮਨਿ ਆਈ ॥
आपे करता जिस नो देवै तिसु वसै मनि आई ॥
Āpe karṯā jis no ḏevai ṯis vasai man ā▫ī.
Whosoever the Creator Lord blesses with these treasures, into his mind, He comes to abide.

ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਇ ਸਦਾ ਤੂ ਸਤਿਗੁਰਿ ਦੀਆ ਦਿਖਾਈ ॥੪॥੧॥
नानक नामु धिआइ सदा तू सतिगुरि दीआ दिखाई ॥४॥१॥
Nānak nām ḏẖi▫ā▫e saḏā ṯū saṯgur ḏī▫ā ḏikẖā▫ī. ||4||1||
O Nanak, contemplate thou ever the Name, which the Lord has make manifest unto me.

ਨਿਰਗੁਣੀਆਰੇ ਕਉ ਬਖਸਿ ਲੈ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਆਪੇ ਲੈਹੁ ਮਿਲਾਈ ॥
निरगुणीआरे कउ बखसि लै सुआमी आपे लैहु मिलाई ॥
Nirguṇī▫āre ka▫o bakẖas lai su▫āmī āpe laihu milā▫ī.
O my Lord, bless Thou me, the meritless one, with Thy forgiveness and unite me with thyself.

ਤੂ ਬਿਅੰਤੁ ਤੇਰਾ ਅੰਤੁ ਨ ਪਾਇਆ ਸਬਦੇ ਦੇਹੁ ਬੁਝਾਈ ॥੧॥
तू बिअंतु तेरा अंतु न पाइआ सबदे देहु बुझाई ॥१॥
Ŧū bi▫anṯ ṯerā anṯ na pā▫i▫ā sabḏe ḏeh bujẖā▫ī. ||1||
Infinite are Thou and none has ever found Thy limit. By the Guru's instructions, Thou makes Thyself manifest unto one.

ਹਰਿ ਜੀਉ ਤੁਧੁ ਵਿਟਹੁ ਬਲਿ ਜਾਈ ॥
हरि जीउ तुधु विटहु बलि जाई ॥
Har jī▫o ṯuḏẖ vitahu bal jā▫ī.
My Sire Master unto Thee I am a sacrifice.

ਤਨੁ ਮਨੁ ਅਰਪੀ ਤੁਧੁ ਆਗੈ ਰਾਖਉ ਸਦਾ ਰਹਾਂ ਸਰਣਾਈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
तनु मनु अरपी तुधु आगै राखउ सदा रहां सरणाई ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Ŧan man arpī ṯuḏẖ āgai rākẖa▫o saḏā rahāʼn sarṇā▫ī. ||1|| rahā▫o.
Surrendering my body and soul, I place them before Thee, O my Lord and ever abide I in thine refuge. Pause.

ਆਪਣੇ ਭਾਣੇ ਵਿਚਿ ਸਦਾ ਰਖੁ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੋ ਦੇਹਿ ਵਡਿਆਈ ॥
आपणे भाणे विचि सदा रखु सुआमी हरि नामो देहि वडिआई ॥
Āpṇe bẖāṇe vicẖ saḏā rakẖ su▫āmī har nāmo ḏėh vadi▫ā▫ī.
O Lord God, keep Thou me ever in thy will and bless me with the glory of Thy Name.

ਪੂਰੇ ਗੁਰ ਤੇ ਭਾਣਾ ਜਾਪੈ ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਸਹਜਿ ਸਮਾਈ ॥੨॥
पूरे गुर ते भाणा जापै अनदिनु सहजि समाई ॥२॥
Pūre gur ṯe bẖāṇā jāpai an▫ḏin sahj samā▫ī. ||2||
Through the Perfect Guru, the Lord's will is known and one ever remains merged in equipoise.

ਤੇਰੈ ਭਾਣੈ ਭਗਤਿ ਜੇ ਤੁਧੁ ਭਾਵੈ ਆਪੇ ਬਖਸਿ ਮਿਲਾਈ ॥
तेरै भाणै भगति जे तुधु भावै आपे बखसि मिलाई ॥
Ŧerai bẖāṇai bẖagaṯ je ṯuḏẖ bẖāvai āpe bakẖas milā▫ī.
The saints, who walk in Thy will, are pleasing to Thee, O Lord, Thou forgive them and unite them with Thyself.

ਤੇਰੈ ਭਾਣੈ ਸਦਾ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਗੁਰਿ ਤ੍ਰਿਸਨਾ ਅਗਨਿ ਬੁਝਾਈ ॥੩॥
तेरै भाणै सदा सुखु पाइआ गुरि त्रिसना अगनि बुझाई ॥३॥
Ŧerai bẖāṇai saḏā sukẖ pā▫i▫ā gur ṯarisnā agan bujẖā▫ī. ||3||
Walking in Thy will, I have obtained everlasting peace and the Guru has quenched the fire of my desire.

ਜੋ ਤੂ ਕਰਹਿ ਸੁ ਹੋਵੈ ਕਰਤੇ ਅਵਰੁ ਨ ਕਰਣਾ ਜਾਈ ॥
जो तू करहि सु होवै करते अवरु न करणा जाई ॥
Jo ṯū karahi so hovai karṯe avar na karṇā jā▫ī.
Whatever Thou do, O Creator Lord, alone comes to pass, no one can do otherwise.

ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਵੈ ਜੇਵਡੁ ਅਵਰੁ ਨ ਦਾਤਾ ਪੂਰੇ ਗੁਰ ਤੇ ਪਾਈ ॥੪॥੨॥
नानक नावै जेवडु अवरु न दाता पूरे गुर ते पाई ॥४॥२॥
Nānak nāvai jevad avar na ḏāṯā pūre gur ṯe pā▫ī. ||4||2||
Out of the bounties, no other bounty is as great the Name and one attains unto it, through the perfect Guru.

ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਹਰਿ ਸਾਲਾਹਿਆ ਜਿੰਨਾ ਤਿਨ ਸਲਾਹਿ ਹਰਿ ਜਾਤਾ ॥
गुरमुखि हरि सालाहिआ जिंना तिन सलाहि हरि जाता ॥
Gurmukẖ har salāhi▫ā jinna ṯin salāhi har jāṯā.
They, who praise their doubt and duality are dispelled and through the Guru's word, they realise their God.

ਵਿਚਹੁ ਭਰਮੁ ਗਇਆ ਹੈ ਦੂਜਾ ਗੁਰ ਕੈ ਸਬਦਿ ਪਛਾਤਾ ॥੧॥
विचहु भरमु गइआ है दूजा गुर कै सबदि पछाता ॥१॥
vicẖahu bẖaram ga▫i▫ā hai ḏūjā gur kai sabaḏ pacẖẖāṯā. ||1||
From within them, doubt and duality are dispelled and through the Guru's word, they realise their God.
|
ਹਰਿ ਜੀਉ ਤੂ ਮੇਰਾ ਇਕੁ ਸੋਈ ॥
हरि जीउ तू मेरा इकु सोई ॥
Har jī▫o ṯū merā ik so▫ī.
My Sire God, Thou alone are my Sublime Lord.

ਤੁਧੁ ਜਪੀ ਤੁਧੈ ਸਾਲਾਹੀ ਗਤਿ ਮਤਿ ਤੁਝ ਤੇ ਹੋਈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
तुधु जपी तुधै सालाही गति मति तुझ ते होई ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Ŧuḏẖ japī ṯuḏẖai sālāhī gaṯ maṯ ṯujẖ ṯe ho▫ī. ||1|| rahā▫o.
Thee, I contemplate, Thee, I praise and from Thee gather I salvation and wisdom. Pause.
|
ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਸਾਲਾਹਨਿ ਸੇ ਸਾਦੁ ਪਾਇਨਿ ਮੀਠਾ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਸਾਰੁ ॥
गुरमुखि सालाहनि से सादु पाइनि मीठा अम्रितु सारु ॥
Gurmukẖ sālāhan se sāḏ pā▫in mīṯẖā amriṯ sār.
They, who by the Guru's grace, praise the Lord, they are blessed with the relish of the sweet and sublime Name-Nectar.

ਸਦਾ ਮੀਠਾ ਕਦੇ ਨ ਫੀਕਾ ਗੁਰ ਸਬਦੀ ਵੀਚਾਰੁ ॥੨॥
सदा मीठा कदे न फीका गुर सबदी वीचारु ॥२॥
Saḏā mīṯẖā kaḏe na fīkā gur sabḏī vīcẖār. ||2||
Ever sweet and never insipid is the Name-Nectar, By the Guru's instruction, reflect Thou on it.
|
ਜਿਨਿ ਮੀਠਾ ਲਾਇਆ ਸੋਈ ਜਾਣੈ ਤਿਸੁ ਵਿਟਹੁ ਬਲਿ ਜਾਈ ॥
जिनि मीठा लाइआ सोई जाणै तिसु विटहु बलि जाई ॥
Jin mīṯẖā lā▫i▫ā so▫ī jāṇai ṯis vitahu bal jā▫ī.
He, alone, who has make it seem sweet unto me, knows its worth. Unto Him I am a sacrifice.

ਸਬਦਿ ਸਲਾਹੀ ਸਦਾ ਸੁਖਦਾਤਾ ਵਿਚਹੁ ਆਪੁ ਗਵਾਈ ॥੩॥
सबदि सलाही सदा सुखदाता विचहु आपु गवाई ॥३॥
Sabaḏ salāhī saḏā sukẖ▫ḏāṯa vicẖahu āp gavā▫ī. ||3||
By the Guru's instructions, ever praise, I, my peace-giving Lord and, from within me, I have banished my self-conceit.

ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਮੇਰਾ ਸਦਾ ਹੈ ਦਾਤਾ ਜੋ ਇਛੈ ਸੋ ਫਲੁ ਪਾਏ ॥
सतिगुरु मेरा सदा है दाता जो इछै सो फलु पाए ॥
Saṯgur merā saḏā hai ḏāṯā jo icẖẖai so fal pā▫e.
Ever Beneficient is My True Guru. Whatever one desire, that fruit, one obtains from him.
|
ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮੁ ਮਿਲੈ ਵਡਿਆਈ ਗੁਰ ਸਬਦੀ ਸਚੁ ਪਾਏ ॥੪॥੩॥
नानक नामु मिलै वडिआई गुर सबदी सचु पाए ॥४॥३॥
Nānak nām milai vadi▫ā▫ī gur sabḏī sacẖ pā▫e. ||4||3||
Nanak, by the Guru's word, man is blessed with the Name's glory and attains unto him True Lord.

ਜੋ ਤੇਰੀ ਸਰਣਾਈ ਹਰਿ ਜੀਉ ਤਿਨ ਤੂ ਰਾਖਨ ਜੋਗੁ ॥
जो तेरी सरणाई हरि जीउ तिन तू राखन जोगु ॥
Jo ṯerī sarṇā▫ī har jī▫o ṯin ṯū rākẖan jog.
O my Venerable Lord, Thou are Omnipotent to save those, who enter Thy sanctuary.

ਤੁਧੁ ਜੇਵਡੁ ਮੈ ਅਵਰੁ ਨ ਸੂਝੈ ਨਾ ਕੋ ਹੋਆ ਨ ਹੋਗੁ ॥੧॥
तुधु जेवडु मै अवरु न सूझै ना को होआ न होगु ॥१॥
Ŧuḏẖ jevad mai avar na sūjẖai nā ko ho▫ā na hog. ||1||
I can think of none else, as great as Thee. Neither there has ever been, nor will there ever be.
|
ਹਰਿ ਜੀਉ ਸਦਾ ਤੇਰੀ ਸਰਣਾਈ ॥
हरि जीउ सदा तेरी सरणाई ॥
Har jī▫o saḏā ṯerī sarṇā▫ī.
O Sire God, abide I ever under Thy protection.
|
ਜਿਉ ਭਾਵੈ ਤਿਉ ਰਾਖਹੁ ਮੇਰੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਏਹ ਤੇਰੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
जिउ भावै तिउ राखहु मेरे सुआमी एह तेरी वडिआई ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Ji▫o bẖāvai ṯi▫o rākẖo mere su▫āmī eh ṯerī vadi▫ā▫ī. ||1|| rahā▫o.
As it pleases Thee, so save Thou me. O my Lord, in this lies Thine glory. Pause.

ਜੋ ਤੇਰੀ ਸਰਣਾਈ ਹਰਿ ਜੀਉ ਤਿਨ ਕੀ ਕਰਹਿ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਾਲ ॥
जो तेरी सरणाई हरि जीउ तिन की करहि प्रतिपाल ॥
Jo ṯerī sarṇā▫ī har jī▫o ṯin kī karahi parṯipāl.
Whosoever seeks Thy refuge, O Sire Lord, him, Thou sustain him.
