Fourth Mehl:

ਅਖੀ ਪ੍ਰੇਮਿ ਕਸਾਈਆ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਪਿਖੰਨ੍ਹ੍ਹਿ
अखी प्रेमि कसाईआ हरि हरि नामु पिखंन्हि ॥
Akẖī parem kasā▫ī▫ā har har nām pikẖaʼnniĥ.
The eyes which are attracted by the Lord's Love behold the Lord through the Name of the Lord.

ਜੇ ਕਰਿ ਦੂਜਾ ਦੇਖਦੇ ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਕਢਿ ਦਿਚੰਨ੍ਹ੍ਹਿ ॥੨॥
जे करि दूजा देखदे जन नानक कढि दिचंन्हि ॥२॥
Je kar ḏūjā ḏekẖ▫ḏe jan Nānak kadẖ ḏicẖaʼnniĥ. ||2||
If they gaze upon something else, O servant Nanak, they ought to be gouged out. ||2||

ਪਉੜੀ
पउड़ी ॥
Pa▫oṛī.
Pauree:

ਜਲਿ ਥਲਿ ਮਹੀਅਲਿ ਪੂਰਨੋ ਅਪਰੰਪਰੁ ਸੋਈ
जलि थलि महीअलि पूरनो अपर्मपरु सोई ॥
Jal thal mahī▫al pūrno aprampar so▫ī.
The Infinite Lord totally permeates the water, the land and the sky.

ਜੀਅ ਜੰਤ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਾਲਦਾ ਜੋ ਕਰੇ ਸੁ ਹੋਈ
जीअ जंत प्रतिपालदा जो करे सु होई ॥
Jī▫a janṯ parṯipālḏā jo kare so ho▫ī.
He cherishes and sustains all beings and creatures; whatever He does comes to pass.

ਮਾਤ ਪਿਤਾ ਸੁਤ ਭ੍ਰਾਤ ਮੀਤ ਤਿਸੁ ਬਿਨੁ ਨਹੀ ਕੋਈ
मात पिता सुत भ्रात मीत तिसु बिनु नही कोई ॥
Māṯ piṯā suṯ bẖarāṯ mīṯ ṯis bin nahī ko▫ī.
Without Him, we have no mother, father, children, sibling or friend.

ਘਟਿ ਘਟਿ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਰਵਿ ਰਹਿਆ ਜਪਿਅਹੁ ਜਨ ਕੋਈ
घटि घटि अंतरि रवि रहिआ जपिअहु जन कोई ॥
Gẖat gẖat anṯar rav rahi▫ā japi▫ahu jan ko▫ī.
He is permeating and pervading deep within each and every heart; let everyone meditate on Him.

ਸਗਲ ਜਪਹੁ ਗੋਪਾਲ ਗੁਨ ਪਰਗਟੁ ਸਭ ਲੋਈ ॥੧੩॥
सगल जपहु गोपाल गुन परगटु सभ लोई ॥१३॥
Sagal japahu gopāl gun pargat sabẖ lo▫ī. ||13||
Let all chant the Glorious Praises of the Lord of the World, who is manifest all over the world. ||13||

ਸਲੋਕ ਮਃ
सलोक मः ४ ॥
Salok mėhlā 4.
Shalok, Fourth Mehl:

ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਮਿਲੇ ਸਿ ਸਜਣਾ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਪਾਇਆ ਰੰਗੁ
गुरमुखि मिले सि सजणा हरि प्रभ पाइआ रंगु ॥
Gurmukẖ mile sė sajṇā har parabẖ pā▫i▫ā rang.
Those Gurmukhs who meet as friends are blessed with the Lord God's Love.

ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮੁ ਸਲਾਹਿ ਤੂ ਲੁਡਿ ਲੁਡਿ ਦਰਗਹਿ ਵੰਞੁ ॥੧॥
जन नानक नामु सलाहि तू लुडि लुडि दरगहि वंञु ॥१॥
Jan Nānak nām salāhi ṯū lud lud ḏargahi vañ. ||1||
O servant Nanak, praise the Naam, the Name of the Lord; you shall go to His court in joyous high spirits. ||1||

ਮਃ
मः ४ ॥
Mėhlā 4.
Fourth Mehl:

ਹਰਿ ਤੂਹੈ ਦਾਤਾ ਸਭਸ ਦਾ ਸਭਿ ਜੀਅ ਤੁਮ੍ਹ੍ਹਾਰੇ
हरि तूहै दाता सभस दा सभि जीअ तुम्हारे ॥
Har ṯūhai ḏāṯā sabẖas ḏā sabẖ jī▫a ṯumĥāre.
Lord, You are the Great Giver of all; all beings are Yours.

ਸਭਿ ਤੁਧੈ ਨੋ ਆਰਾਧਦੇ ਦਾਨੁ ਦੇਹਿ ਪਿਆਰੇ
सभि तुधै नो आराधदे दानु देहि पिआरे ॥
Sabẖ ṯuḏẖai no ārāḏẖaḏe ḏān ḏėh pi▫āre.
They all worship You in adoration; You bless them with Your Bounty, O Beloved.

ਹਰਿ ਦਾਤੈ ਦਾਤਾਰਿ ਹਥੁ ਕਢਿਆ ਮੀਹੁ ਵੁਠਾ ਸੈਸਾਰੇ
हरि दातै दातारि हथु कढिआ मीहु वुठा सैसारे ॥
Har ḏāṯai ḏāṯār hath kadẖi▫ā mīhu vuṯẖā saisāre.
The Generous Lord, the Great Giver reaches out with His Hands, and the rain pours down on the world.

ਅੰਨੁ ਜੰਮਿਆ ਖੇਤੀ ਭਾਉ ਕਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਸਮ੍ਹ੍ਹਾਰੇ
अंनु जमिआ खेती भाउ करि हरि नामु सम्हारे ॥
Ann jammi▫ā kẖeṯī bẖā▫o kar har nām samĥāre.
The corn germinates in the fields; contemplate the Lord's Name with love.

ਜਨੁ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਮੰਗੈ ਦਾਨੁ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਅਧਾਰੇ ॥੨॥
जनु नानकु मंगै दानु प्रभ हरि नामु अधारे ॥२॥
Jan Nānak mangai ḏān parabẖ har nām aḏẖāre. ||2||
Servant Nanak begs for the Gift of the Support of the Name of his Lord God. ||2||

ਪਉੜੀ
पउड़ी ॥
Pa▫oṛī.
Pauree:

ਇਛਾ ਮਨ ਕੀ ਪੂਰੀਐ ਜਪੀਐ ਸੁਖ ਸਾਗਰੁ
इछा मन की पूरीऐ जपीऐ सुख सागरु ॥
Icẖẖā man kī pūrī▫ai japī▫ai sukẖ sāgar.
The desires of the mind are satisfied, meditating on the Ocean of Peace.

ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਚਰਨ ਅਰਾਧੀਅਹਿ ਗੁਰ ਸਬਦਿ ਰਤਨਾਗਰੁ
हरि के चरन अराधीअहि गुर सबदि रतनागरु ॥
Har ke cẖaran arāḏẖī▫ah gur sabaḏ raṯnāgar.
Worship and adore the Feet of the Lord, through the Word of the Guru's Shabad, the jewel mine.

ਮਿਲਿ ਸਾਧੂ ਸੰਗਿ ਉਧਾਰੁ ਹੋਇ ਫਾਟੈ ਜਮ ਕਾਗਰੁ
मिलि साधू संगि उधारु होइ फाटै जम कागरु ॥
Mil sāḏẖū sang uḏẖār ho▫e fātai jam kāgar.
Joining the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, one is saved, and the Decree of Death is torn up.

ਜਨਮ ਪਦਾਰਥੁ ਜੀਤੀਐ ਜਪਿ ਹਰਿ ਬੈਰਾਗਰੁ
जनम पदारथु जीतीऐ जपि हरि बैरागरु ॥
Janam paḏārath jīṯī▫ai jap har bairāgar.
The treasure of this human life is won, meditating on the Lord of Detachment.

ਸਭਿ ਪਵਹੁ ਸਰਨਿ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਕੀ ਬਿਨਸੈ ਦੁਖ ਦਾਗਰੁ ॥੧੪॥
सभि पवहु सरनि सतिगुरू की बिनसै दुख दागरु ॥१४॥
Sabẖ pavahu saran saṯgurū kī binsai ḏukẖ ḏāgar. ||14||
Let everyone seek the Sanctuary of the True Guru; let the black spot of pain, the scar of suffering, be erased. ||14||

ਸਲੋਕ ਮਃ
सलोक मः ४ ॥
Salok mėhlā 4.
Shalok, Fourth Mehl:

ਹਉ ਢੂੰਢੇਂਦੀ ਸਜਣਾ ਸਜਣੁ ਮੈਡੈ ਨਾਲਿ
हउ ढूंढेंदी सजणा सजणु मैडै नालि ॥
Ha▫o dẖūʼndẖeʼnḏī sajṇā sajaṇ maidai nāl.
I was seeking, searching for my Friend, but my Friend is right here with me.

ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਅਲਖੁ ਲਖੀਐ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਦੇਹਿ ਦਿਖਾਲਿ ॥੧॥
जन नानक अलखु न लखीऐ गुरमुखि देहि दिखालि ॥१॥
Jan Nānak alakẖ na lakẖī▫ai gurmukẖ ḏėh ḏikẖāl. ||1||
O servant Nanak, the Unseen is not seen, but the Gurmukh is given to see Him. ||1||

ਮਃ
मः ४ ॥

Fourth Mehl:

ਨਾਨਕ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਲਾਈ ਤਿਨਿ ਸਚੈ ਤਿਸੁ ਬਿਨੁ ਰਹਣੁ ਜਾਈ
नानक प्रीति लाई तिनि सचै तिसु बिनु रहणु न जाई ॥
Nānak parīṯ lā▫ī ṯin sacẖai ṯis bin rahaṇ na jā▫ī.
O Nanak, I am in love with the True Lord; I cannot survive without Him.

ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਮਿਲੈ ਪੂਰਾ ਪਾਈਐ ਹਰਿ ਰਸਿ ਰਸਨ ਰਸਾਈ ॥੨॥
सतिगुरु मिलै त पूरा पाईऐ हरि रसि रसन रसाई ॥२॥
Saṯgur milai ṯa pūrā pā▫ī▫ai har ras rasan rasā▫ī. ||2||
Meeting the True Guru, the Perfect Lord is found, and the tongue savors His Sublime Essence. ||2||

ਪਉੜੀ
पउड़ी ॥
Pa▫oṛī.
Pauree:

ਕੋਈ ਗਾਵੈ ਕੋ ਸੁਣੈ ਕੋ ਉਚਰਿ ਸੁਨਾਵੈ
कोई गावै को सुणै को उचरि सुनावै ॥
Ko▫ī gāvai ko suṇai ko ucẖar sunāvai.
Some sing, some listen, and some speak and preach.

ਜਨਮ ਜਨਮ ਕੀ ਮਲੁ ਉਤਰੈ ਮਨ ਚਿੰਦਿਆ ਪਾਵੈ
जनम जनम की मलु उतरै मन चिंदिआ पावै ॥
Janam janam kī mal uṯrai man cẖinḏi▫ā pāvai.
The filth and pollution of countless lifetimes is washed away, and the wishes of the mind are fulfilled.

ਆਵਣੁ ਜਾਣਾ ਮੇਟੀਐ ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵੈ
आवणु जाणा मेटीऐ हरि के गुण गावै ॥
Āvaṇ jāṇā metī▫ai har ke guṇ gāvai.
Coming and going in reincarnation ceases, singing the Glorious Praises of the Lord.

ਆਪਿ ਤਰਹਿ ਸੰਗੀ ਤਰਾਹਿ ਸਭ ਕੁਟੰਬੁ ਤਰਾਵੈ
आपि तरहि संगी तराहि सभ कुट्मबु तरावै ॥
Āp ṯarėh sangī ṯarāhi sabẖ kutamb ṯarāvai.
They save themselves, and save their companions; they save all their generations as well.

ਜਨੁ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਤਿਸੁ ਬਲਿਹਾਰਣੈ ਜੋ ਮੇਰੇ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਭਾਵੈ ॥੧੫॥੧॥ ਸੁਧੁ
जनु नानकु तिसु बलिहारणै जो मेरे हरि प्रभ भावै ॥१५॥१॥ सुधु ॥
Jan Nānak ṯis balihārṇai jo mere har parabẖ bẖāvai. ||15||1|| suḏẖ.
Servant Nanak is a sacrifice to those who are pleasing to my Lord God. ||15||1|| Sudh||

ਰਾਗੁ ਕਾਨੜਾ ਬਾਣੀ ਨਾਮਦੇਵ ਜੀਉ ਕੀ
रागु कानड़ा बाणी नामदेव जीउ की
Rāg kānṛā baṇī Nāmḏev jī▫o kī
Raag Kaanraa, The Word Of Naam Dayv Jee:

ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ
ੴ सतिगुर प्रसादि ॥
Ik▫oaʼnkār saṯgur parsāḏ.
One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:

ਐਸੋ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਇ ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ
ऐसो राम राइ अंतरजामी ॥
Aiso rām rā▫e anṯarjāmī.
Such is the Sovereign Lord, the Inner-knower, the Searcher of Hearts;

ਜੈਸੇ ਦਰਪਨ ਮਾਹਿ ਬਦਨ ਪਰਵਾਨੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ
जैसे दरपन माहि बदन परवानी ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Jaise ḏarpan māhi baḏan parvānī. ||1|| rahā▫o.
He sees everything as clearly as one's face reflected in a mirror. ||1||Pause||

ਬਸੈ ਘਟਾ ਘਟ ਲੀਪ ਛੀਪੈ
बसै घटा घट लीप न छीपै ॥
Basai gẖatā gẖat līp na cẖẖīpai.
He dwells in each and every heart; no stain or stigma sticks to Him.

ਬੰਧਨ ਮੁਕਤਾ ਜਾਤੁ ਦੀਸੈ ॥੧॥
बंधन मुकता जातु न दीसै ॥१॥
Banḏẖan mukṯā jāṯ na ḏīsai. ||1||
He is liberated from bondage; He does not belong to any social class. ||1||

ਪਾਨੀ ਮਾਹਿ ਦੇਖੁ ਮੁਖੁ ਜੈਸਾ
पानी माहि देखु मुखु जैसा ॥
Pānī māhi ḏekẖ mukẖ jaisā.
As one's face is reflected in the water,

ਨਾਮੇ ਕੋ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਬੀਠਲੁ ਐਸਾ ॥੨॥੧॥
नामे को सुआमी बीठलु ऐसा ॥२॥१॥
Nāme ko su▫āmī bīṯẖal aisā. ||2||1||
so does Naam Dayv's Beloved Lord and Master appear. ||2||1||
