ਮਨਿ ਤਨਿ ਰਵਿ ਰਹਿਆ ਜਗਦੀਸੁਰ ਪੇਖਤ ਸਦਾ ਹਜੂਰੇ ॥
मनि तनि रवि रहिआ जगदीसुर पेखत सदा हजूरे ॥
Man ṯan rav rahi▫ā jagḏīsur pekẖaṯ saḏā hajūre.
The Lord of the Universe is permeating and pervading my mind and body; I see Him Ever-present, here and now

ਨਾਨਕ ਰਵਿ ਰਹਿਓ ਸਭ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਸਰਬ ਰਹਿਆ ਭਰਪੂਰੇ ॥੨॥੮॥੧੨॥
नानक रवि रहिओ सभ अंतरि सरब रहिआ भरपूरे ॥२॥८॥१२॥
Nānak rav rahi▫o sabẖ anṯar sarab rahi▫ā bẖarpūre. ||2||8||12||
. O Nanak, He is permeating the inner being of all; He is all-pervading everywhere. ||2||8||12||

ਹਰਿ ਕੈ ਭਜਨਿ ਕਉਨ ਕਉਨ ਨ ਤਾਰੇ ॥
हरि कै भजनि कउन कउन न तारे ॥
Har kai bẖajan ka▫un ka▫un na ṯāre.
Vibrating and meditating on the Lord, who has not been carried across?

ਖਗ ਤਨ ਮੀਨ ਤਨ ਮ੍ਰਿਗ ਤਨ ਬਰਾਹ ਤਨ ਸਾਧੂ ਸੰਗਿ ਉਧਾਰੇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
खग तन मीन तन म्रिग तन बराह तन साधू संगि उधारे ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Kẖag ṯan mīn ṯan marig ṯan barāh ṯan sāḏẖū sang uḏẖāre. ||1|| rahā▫o.
Those reborn into the body of a bird, the body of a fish, the body of a deer, and the body of a bull - in the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, they are saved. ||1||Pause||

ਦੇਵ ਕੁਲ ਦੈਤ ਕੁਲ ਜਖ੍ਯ੍ਯ ਕਿੰਨਰ ਨਰ ਸਾਗਰ ਉਤਰੇ ਪਾਰੇ ॥
देव कुल दैत कुल जख्य किंनर नर सागर उतरे पारे ॥
Ḏev kul ḏaiṯ kul jakẖ▫y kinnar nar sāgar uṯre pāre.
The families of gods, the families of demons, titans, celestial singers and human beings are carried across the ocean.

ਜੋ ਜੋ ਭਜਨੁ ਕਰੈ ਸਾਧੂ ਸੰਗਿ ਤਾ ਕੇ ਦੂਖ ਬਿਦਾਰੇ ॥੧॥
जो जो भजनु करै साधू संगि ता के दूख बिदारे ॥१॥
Jo jo bẖajan karai sāḏẖū sang ṯā ke ḏūkẖ biḏāre. ||1||
Whoever meditates and vibrates on the Lord in the Saadh Sangat - his pains are taken away. ||1||

ਕਾਮ ਕਰੋਧ ਮਹਾ ਬਿਖਿਆ ਰਸ ਇਨ ਤੇ ਭਏ ਨਿਰਾਰੇ ॥
काम करोध महा बिखिआ रस इन ते भए निरारे ॥
Kām karoḏẖ mahā bikẖi▫ā ras in ṯe bẖa▫e nirāre.
Sexual desire, anger and the pleasures of terrible corruption - he keeps away from these.

ਦੀਨ ਦਇਆਲ ਜਪਹਿ ਕਰੁਣਾ ਮੈ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਦ ਬਲਿਹਾਰੇ ॥੨॥੯॥੧੩॥
दीन दइआल जपहि करुणा मै नानक सद बलिहारे ॥२॥९॥१३॥
Ḏīn ḏa▫i▫āl jāpėh karuṇā mai Nānak saḏ balihāre. ||2||9||13||
He meditates on the Lord, Merciful to the meek, the Embodiment of Compassion; Nanak is forever a sacrifice to Him. ||2||9||13||

ਆਜੁ ਮੈ ਬੈਸਿਓ ਹਰਿ ਹਾਟ ॥
आजु मै बैसिओ हरि हाट ॥
Āj mai baisi▫o har hāt.
Today, I am seated in the Lord's store.

ਨਾਮੁ ਰਾਸਿ ਸਾਝੀ ਕਰਿ ਜਨ ਸਿਉ ਜਾਂਉ ਨ ਜਮ ਕੈ ਘਾਟ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
नामु रासि साझी करि जन सिउ जांउ न जम कै घाट ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Nām rās sājẖī kar jan si▫o jāʼn▫o na jam kai gẖāt. ||1|| rahā▫o.
With the wealth of the Lord, I have entered into partnership with the humble; I shall not have take the Highway of Death. ||1||Pause||

ਧਾਰਿ ਅਨੁਗ੍ਰਹੁ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮਿ ਰਾਖੇ ਭ੍ਰਮ ਕੇ ਖੁਲ੍ਹ੍ਹੇ ਕਪਾਟ ॥
धारि अनुग्रहु पारब्रहमि राखे भ्रम के खुल्हे कपाट ॥
Ḏẖār anūgrahu pārbarahm rākẖe bẖaram ke kẖulĥe kapāt.
Showering me with His Kindness, the Supreme Lord God has saved me; the doors of doubt have been opened wide.

ਬੇਸੁਮਾਰ ਸਾਹੁ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਲਾਹਾ ਚਰਨ ਨਿਧਿ ਖਾਟ ॥੧॥
बेसुमार साहु प्रभु पाइआ लाहा चरन निधि खाट ॥१॥
Besumār sāhu parabẖ pā▫i▫ā lāhā cẖaran niḏẖ kẖāt. ||1||
I have found God, the Banker of Infinity; I have earned the profit of the wealth of His Feet. ||1||

ਸਰਨਿ ਗਹੀ ਅਚੁਤ ਅਬਿਨਾਸੀ ਕਿਲਬਿਖ ਕਾਢੇ ਹੈ ਛਾਂਟਿ ॥
सरनि गही अचुत अबिनासी किलबिख काढे है छांटि ॥
Saran gahī acẖuṯ abẖināsī kilbikẖ kādẖe hai cẖẖāʼnt.
I have grasped the protection of the Sanctuary of the Unchanging, Unmoving, Imperishable Lord; He has picked up my sins and thrown them out.

ਕਲਿ ਕਲੇਸ ਮਿਟੇ ਦਾਸ ਨਾਨਕ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਨ ਜੋਨੀ ਮਾਟ ॥੨॥੧੦॥੧੪॥
कलि कलेस मिटे दास नानक बहुरि न जोनी माट ॥२॥१०॥१४॥
Kal kales mite ḏās Nānak bahur na jonī māt. ||2||10||14||
Slave Nanak's sorrow and suffering has ended. He shall never again be squeezed into the mold of reincarnation. ||2||10||14||

ਬਹੁ ਬਿਧਿ ਮਾਇਆ ਮੋਹ ਹਿਰਾਨੋ ॥
बहु बिधि माइआ मोह हिरानो ॥
Baho biḏẖ mā▫i▫ā moh hirāno.
In so many ways, attachment to Maya leads to ruin.

ਕੋਟਿ ਮਧੇ ਕੋਊ ਬਿਰਲਾ ਸੇਵਕੁ ਪੂਰਨ ਭਗਤੁ ਚਿਰਾਨੋ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
कोटि मधे कोऊ बिरला सेवकु पूरन भगतु चिरानो ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Kot maḏẖe ko▫ū birlā sevak pūran bẖagaṯ cẖirāno. ||1|| rahā▫o.
Among millions, it is very rare to find a selfless servant who remains a perfect devotee for very long. ||1||Pause||

ਇਤ ਉਤ ਡੋਲਿ ਡੋਲਿ ਸ੍ਰਮੁ ਪਾਇਓ ਤਨੁ ਧਨੁ ਹੋਤ ਬਿਰਾਨੋ ॥
इत उत डोलि डोलि स्रमु पाइओ तनु धनु होत बिरानो ॥
Iṯ uṯ dol dol saram pā▫i▫o ṯan ḏẖan hoṯ birāno.
Roaming and wandering here and there, the mortal finds only trouble; his body and wealth become strangers to himself.

ਲੋਗ ਦੁਰਾਇ ਕਰਤ ਠਗਿਆਈ ਹੋਤੌ ਸੰਗਿ ਨ ਜਾਨੋ ॥੧॥
लोग दुराइ करत ठगिआई होतौ संगि न जानो ॥१॥
Log ḏurā▫e karaṯ ṯẖagi▫ā▫ī hoṯou sang na jāno. ||1||
Hiding from people, he practices deception; he does not know the One who is always with him. ||1||
|
ਮ੍ਰਿਗ ਪੰਖੀ ਮੀਨ ਦੀਨ ਨੀਚ ਇਹ ਸੰਕਟ ਫਿਰਿ ਆਨੋ ॥
म्रिग पंखी मीन दीन नीच इह संकट फिरि आनो ॥
Marig pankẖī mīn ḏīn nīcẖ ih sankat fir āno.
He wanders through troubled incarnations of low and wretched species as a deer, a bird and a fish.

ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਪਾਹਨ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਤਾਰਹੁ ਸਾਧਸੰਗਤਿ ਸੁਖ ਮਾਨੋ ॥੨॥੧੧॥੧੫॥
कहु नानक पाहन प्रभ तारहु साधसंगति सुख मानो ॥२॥११॥१५॥
Kaho Nānak pāhan parabẖ ṯārahu sāḏẖsangaṯ sukẖ māno. ||2||11||15||
Says Nanak, O God, I am a stone - please carry me across, that I may enjoy peace in the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy. ||2||11||15||

ਦੁਸਟ ਮੁਏ ਬਿਖੁ ਖਾਈ ਰੀ ਮਾਈ ॥
दुसट मुए बिखु खाई री माई ॥
Ḏusat mu▫e bikẖ kẖā▫ī rī mā▫ī.
The cruel and evil ones died after taking poison, O mother.
|
ਜਿਸ ਕੇ ਜੀਅ ਤਿਨ ਹੀ ਰਖਿ ਲੀਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕਉ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਆਈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
जिस के जीअ तिन ही रखि लीने मेरे प्रभ कउ किरपा आई ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Jis ke jī▫a ṯin hī rakẖ līne mere parabẖ ka▫o kirpā ā▫ī. ||1|| rahā▫o.
And the One, to whom all creatures belong, has saved us. God has granted His Grace. ||1||Pause||

ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ ਸਭ ਮਹਿ ਵਰਤੈ ਤਾਂ ਭਉ ਕੈਸਾ ਭਾਈ ॥
अंतरजामी सभ महि वरतै तां भउ कैसा भाई ॥
Anṯarjāmī sabẖ mėh varṯai ṯāʼn bẖa▫o kaisā bẖā▫ī.
The Inner-knower, the Searcher of hearts, is contained within all; why should I be afraid, O Siblings of Destiny?

ਸੰਗਿ ਸਹਾਈ ਛੋਡਿ ਨ ਜਾਈ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਦੀਸੈ ਸਭਨੀ ਠਾਈ ॥੧॥
संगि सहाई छोडि न जाई प्रभु दीसै सभनी ठाईं ॥१॥
Sang sahā▫ī cẖẖod na jā▫ī parabẖ ḏīsai sabẖnī ṯẖā▫īʼn. ||1||
God, my Help and Support, is always with me. He shall never leave; I see Him everywhere. ||1||
|
ਅਨਾਥਾ ਨਾਥੁ ਦੀਨ ਦੁਖ ਭੰਜਨ ਆਪਿ ਲੀਏ ਲੜਿ ਲਾਈ ॥
अनाथा नाथु दीन दुख भंजन आपि लीए लड़ि लाई ॥
Anāthā nāth ḏīn ḏukẖ bẖanjan āp lī▫e laṛ lā▫ī.
He is the Master of the masterless, the Destroyer of the pains of the poor; He has attached me to the hem of His robe.

ਹਰਿ ਕੀ ਓਟ ਜੀਵਹਿ ਦਾਸ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਨਕ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸਰਣਾਈ ॥੨॥੧੨॥੧੬॥
हरि की ओट जीवहि दास तेरे नानक प्रभ सरणाई ॥२॥१२॥१६॥
Har kī ot jīvėh ḏās ṯere Nānak parabẖ sarṇā▫ī. ||2||12||16||
O Lord, Your slaves live by Your Support; Nanak has come to the Sanctuary of God. ||2||12||16||

Man mere har ke cẖaran ravījai.
O my mind, dwell on the Feet of the Lord.

ਦਰਸ ਪਿਆਸ ਮੇਰੋ ਮਨੁ ਮੋਹਿਓ ਹਰਿ ਪੰਖ ਲਗਾਇ ਮਿਲੀਜੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
दरस पिआस मेरो मनु मोहिओ हरि पंख लगाइ मिलीजै ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Ḏaras pi▫ās mero man mohi▫o har pankẖ lagā▫e milījai. ||1|| rahā▫o.
My mind is enticed by thirst for the Blessed Vision of the Lord; I would take wings and fly out to meet Him. ||1||Pause||

ਖੋਜਤ ਖੋਜਤ ਮਾਰਗੁ ਪਾਇਓ ਸਾਧੂ ਸੇਵ ਕਰੀਜੈ ॥
खोजत खोजत मारगु पाइओ साधू सेव करीजै ॥
Kẖojaṯ kẖojaṯ mārag pā▫i▫o sāḏẖū sev karījai.
Searching and seeking, I have found the Path, and now I serve the Holy.

ਧਾਰਿ ਅਨੁਗ੍ਰਹੁ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਮੁ ਮਹਾ ਰਸੁ ਪੀਜੈ ॥੧॥
धारि अनुग्रहु सुआमी मेरे नामु महा रसु पीजै ॥१॥
Ḏẖār anūgrahu su▫āmī mere nām mahā ras pījai. ||1||
O my Lord and Master, please be kind to me, that I may drink in Your most sublime essence. ||1||
|
ਤ੍ਰਾਹਿ ਤ੍ਰਾਹਿ ਕਰਿ ਸਰਨੀ ਆਏ ਜਲਤਉ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕੀਜੈ ॥
त्राहि त्राहि करि सरनी आए जलतउ किरपा कीजै ॥
Ŧarāhi ṯarāhi kar sarnī ā▫e jalṯa▫o kirpā kījai.
Begging and pleading, I have come to Your Sanctuary; I am on fire - please shower me with Your Mercy!

ਕਰੁ ਗਹਿ ਲੇਹੁ ਦਾਸ ਅਪੁਨੇ ਕਉ ਨਾਨਕ ਅਪੁਨੋ ਕੀਜੈ ॥੨॥੧੩॥੧੭॥
करु गहि लेहु दास अपुने कउ नानक अपुनो कीजै ॥२॥१३॥१७॥
Kar gėh leho ḏās apune ka▫o Nānak apuno kījai. ||2||13||17||
Please give me Your Hand - I am Your slave, O Lord. Please make Nanak Your Own. ||2||13||17||
