ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਲੀਨੇ ਕਰਿ ਅਪੁਨੇ ਉਪਜੀ ਦਰਸ ਪਿਆਸ ॥
करि किरपा लीने करि अपुने उपजी दरस पिआस ॥
Kar kirpā līne kar apune upjī ḏaras pi▫ās.
Granting His Grace, He has made me His Own. The thirst for the Blessed Vision of His Darshan wells up within me.

ਸੰਤਸੰਗਿ ਮਿਲਿ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਏ ਬਿਨਸੀ ਦੁਤੀਆ ਆਸ ॥੧॥
संतसंगि मिलि हरि गुण गाए बिनसी दुतीआ आस ॥१॥
Saṯsang mil har guṇ gā▫e binsī ḏuṯī▫ā ās. ||1||
By joining the Society of the Saints, I sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord; I have given up other hopes. ||1||

ਮਹਾ ਉਦਿਆਨ ਅਟਵੀ ਤੇ ਕਾਢੇ ਮਾਰਗੁ ਸੰਤ ਕਹਿਓ ॥
महा उदिआन अटवी ते काढे मारगु संत कहिओ ॥
Mahā uḏi▫ān atvī ṯe kādẖe mārag sanṯ kahi▫o.
The Saint has pulled me out of the utterly desolate wilderness, and shown me the path.

ਦੇਖਤ ਦਰਸੁ ਪਾਪ ਸਭਿ ਨਾਸੇ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਰਤਨੁ ਲਹਿਓ ॥੨॥੧੦੦॥੧੨੩॥
देखत दरसु पाप सभि नासे हरि नानक रतनु लहिओ ॥२॥१००॥१२३॥
Ḏekẖaṯ ḏaras pāp sabẖ nāse har Nānak raṯan lahi▫o. ||2||100||123||
Gazing upon His Darshan, all sins are taken away; Nanak is blessed with the jewel of the Lord. ||2||100||123||

ਮਾਈ ਰੀ ਅਰਿਓ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਕੀ ਖੋਰਿ ॥
माई री अरिओ प्रेम की खोरि ॥
Mā▫ī rī ari▫o parem kī kẖor.
O mother, I am involved with the Love of the Lord;

ਦਰਸਨ ਰੁਚਿਤ ਪਿਆਸ ਮਨਿ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਸਕਤ ਨ ਕੋਈ ਤੋਰਿ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
दरसन रुचित पिआस मनि सुंदर सकत न कोई तोरि ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Ḏarsan rucẖiṯ pi▫ās man sunḏar sakaṯ na ko▫ī ṯor. ||1|| rahā▫o.
I am intoxicated with it. My mind has such a longing and thirst for the Blessed Vision, the Darshan of my Beauteous Lord. No one can break this. ||1||Pause||

ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਮਾਨ ਪਤਿ ਪਿਤ ਸੁਤ ਬੰਧਪ ਹਰਿ ਸਰਬਸੁ ਧਨ ਮੋਰ ॥
प्रान मान पति पित सुत बंधप हरि सरबसु धन मोर ॥
Parān mān paṯ piṯ suṯ banḏẖap har sarbas ḏẖan mor.
The Lord is my breath of life, honor, spouse, parent, child, relative, wealth - everything.

ਧ੍ਰਿਗੁ ਸਰੀਰੁ ਅਸਤ ਬਿਸਟਾ ਕ੍ਰਿਮ ਬਿਨੁ ਹਰਿ ਜਾਨਤ ਹੋਰ ॥੧॥
ध्रिगु सरीरु असत बिसटा क्रिम बिनु हरि जानत होर ॥१॥
Ḏẖarig sarīr asaṯ bistā kiram bin har jānaṯ hor. ||1||
Cursed is this body of bones, this pile of maggots and manure, if it knows any other than the Lord. ||1||

ਭਇਓ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਲ ਦੀਨ ਦੁਖ ਭੰਜਨੁ ਪਰਾ ਪੂਰਬਲਾ ਜੋਰ ॥
भइओ क्रिपाल दीन दुख भंजनु परा पूरबला जोर ॥
Bẖa▫i▫o kirpāl ḏīn ḏukẖ bẖanjan parā pūrbalā jor.
The Destroyer of the pains of the poor has become merciful to me, by the power of the karma of my past actions.

ਨਾਨਕ ਸਰਣਿ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਨਿਧਿ ਸਾਗਰ ਬਿਨਸਿਓ ਆਨ ਨਿਹੋਰ ॥੨॥੧੦੧॥੧੨੪॥
नानक सरणि क्रिपा निधि सागर बिनसिओ आन निहोर ॥२॥१०१॥१२४॥
Nānak saraṇ kirpā niḏẖ sāgar binsi▫o ān nihor. ||2||101||124||
Nanak seeks the Sanctuary of God, the Treasure, the Ocean of Mercy; my subservience to others is past. ||2||101||124||

Saarang, Fifth Mehl:

ਨੀਕੀ ਰਾਮ ਕੀ ਧੁਨਿ ਸੋਇ ॥
नीकी राम की धुनि सोइ ॥
Nīkī rām kī ḏẖun so▫e.
The Lord’s melody is noble and sublime.
|
ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਅਨੂਪ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਜਪਤ ਸਾਧੂ ਹੋਇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
चरन कमल अनूप सुआमी जपत साधू होइ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Cẖaran kamal anūp su▫āmī japaṯ sāḏẖū ho▫e. ||1|| rahā▫o.
The Lotus Feet of my Lord and Master are incomparably beautiful. Meditating on them, one becomes Holy. ||1||Pause||

ਚਿਤਵਤਾ ਗੋਪਾਲ ਦਰਸਨ ਕਲਮਲਾ ਕਢੁ ਧੋਇ ॥
चितवता गोपाल दरसन कलमला कढु धोइ ॥
Cẖiṯvaṯā gopāl ḏarsan kalmalā kadẖ ḏẖo▫e.
Just by thinking of the Darshan, the Blessed Vision of the Lord of the World, the dirty sins are washed away.

ਜਨਮ ਮਰਨ ਬਿਕਾਰ ਅੰਕੁਰ ਹਰਿ ਕਾਟਿ ਛਾਡੇ ਖੋਇ ॥੧॥
जनम मरन बिकार अंकुर हरि काटि छाडे खोइ ॥१॥
Janam maran bikār ankur har kāt cẖẖāde kẖo▫e. ||1||
The Lord cuts down and weeds out the corruption of the cycle of birth and death. ||1||
|
ਪਰਾ ਪੂਰਬਿ ਜਿਸਹਿ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਬਿਰਲਾ ਪਾਏ ਕੋਇ ॥
परा पूरबि जिसहि लिखिआ बिरला पाए कोइ ॥
Parā pūrab jisahi likẖi▫ā birlā pā▫e ko▫e.
How rare is that person who has such preordained destiny, to find the Lord.

ਰਵਣ ਗੁਣ ਗੋਪਾਲ ਕਰਤੇ ਨਾਨਕਾ ਸਚੁ ਜੋਇ ॥੨॥੧੦੨॥੧੨੫॥
रवण गुण गोपाल करते नानका सचु जोइ ॥२॥१०२॥१२५॥
Ravaṇ guṇ gopāl karṯe nānkā sacẖ jo▫e. ||2||102||125||
Chanting the Glorious Praises of the Creator, the Lord of the Universe - O Nanak! This is Truth. ||2||102||125||

ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਨਾਮ ਕੀ ਮਤਿ ਸਾਰ ॥
हरि के नाम की मति सार ॥
Har ke nām kī maṯ sār.
The intellect of one who dwells on the Name of the Lord is excellent.
|
ਹਰਿ ਬਿਸਾਰਿ ਜੁ ਆਨ ਰਾਚਹਿ ਮਿਥਨ ਸਭ ਬਿਸਥਾਰ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
हरि बिसारि जु आन राचहि मिथन सभ बिसथार ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Har bisār jo ān rācẖėh mithan sabẖ bisthār. ||1|| rahā▫o.
One who forgets the Lord and becomes involved with some other - all his showy pretensions are false. ||1||Pause||

ਸਾਧਸੰਗਮਿ ਭਜੁ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਪਾਪ ਹੋਵਤ ਖਾਰ ॥
साधसंगमि भजु सुआमी पाप होवत खार ॥
Sāḏẖsangam bẖaj su▫āmī pāp hovaṯ kẖār.
Meditate, vibrate on our Lord and Master in the Company of the Holy, and your sins shall be eradicated.

ਚਰਨਾਰਬਿੰਦ ਬਸਾਇ ਹਿਰਦੈ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਜਨਮ ਨ ਮਾਰ ॥੧॥
चरनारबिंद बसाइ हिरदै बहुरि जनम न मार ॥१॥
Cẖarnārbinḏ basā▫e hirḏai bahur janam na mār. ||1||
When the Lord’s Lotus Feet abide within the heart, the mortal is never again caught in the cycle of death and birth. ||1||
|
ਕਰਿ ਅਨੁਗ੍ਰਹ ਰਾਖਿ ਲੀਨੇ ਏਕ ਨਾਮ ਅਧਾਰ ॥
करि अनुग्रह राखि लीने एक नाम अधार ॥
Kar anugrah rākẖ līne ek nām aḏẖār.
He showers us with His kindness and compassion; He saves and protects those who take the Support of the Naam, the Name of the One Lord.

ਦਿਨ ਰੈਨਿ ਸਿਮਰਤ ਸਦਾ ਨਾਨਕ ਮੁਖ ਊਜਲ ਦਰਬਾਰਿ ॥੨॥੧੦੩॥੧੨੬॥
दिन रैनि सिमरत सदा नानक मुख ऊजल दरबारि ॥२॥१०३॥१२६॥
Ḏin rain simraṯ saḏā Nānak mukẖ ūjal ḏarbār. ||2||103||126||
Meditating in remembrance of Him, day and night, O Nanak! Your face shall be radiant in the Court of the Lord. ||2||103||126||

ਮਾਨੀ ਤੂੰ ਰਾਮ ਕੈ ਦਰਿ ਮਾਨੀ ॥
मानी तूं राम कै दरि मानी ॥
Mānī ṯūʼn rām kai ḏar mānī.
Honored - you shall be honored in the Court of the Lord.

ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿ ਮਿਲਿ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਨ ਗਾਏ ਬਿਨਸੀ ਸਭ ਅਭਿਮਾਨੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
साधसंगि मिलि हरि गुन गाए बिनसी सभ अभिमानी ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Sāḏẖsang mil har gun gā▫e binsī sabẖ abẖimānī. ||1|| rahā▫o.
Join the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, and sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord; your egotistical pride will be totally dispelled. ||1||Pause||

ਧਾਰਿ ਅਨੁਗ੍ਰਹੁ ਅਪੁਨੀ ਕਰਿ ਲੀਨੀ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਪੂਰ ਗਿਆਨੀ ॥
धारि अनुग्रहु अपुनी करि लीनी गुरमुखि पूर गिआनी ॥
Ḏẖār anūgrahu apnī kar līnī gurmukẖ pūr gi▫ānī.
Showering His kindness and compassion, He shall make you His Own. As Gurmukh, your spiritual wisdom shall be perfect.

ਸਰਬ ਸੂਖ ਆਨੰਦ ਘਨੇਰੇ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਦਰਸ ਧਿਆਨੀ ॥੧॥
सरब सूख आनंद घनेरे ठाकुर दरस धिआनी ॥१॥
Sarab sūkẖ ānanḏ gẖanere ṯẖākur ḏaras ḏẖi▫ānī. ||1||
All peace and all sorts of ecstasy are obtained by meditating on the Darshan, the Blessed Vision of my Lord and Master. ||1||
|
ਨਿਕਟਿ ਵਰਤਨਿ ਸਾ ਸਦਾ ਸੁਹਾਗਨਿ ਦਹ ਦਿਸ ਸਾਈ ਜਾਨੀ ॥
निकटि वरतनि सा सदा सुहागनि दह दिस साई जानी ॥
Nikat varṯan sā saḏā suhāgan ḏah ḏis sā▫ī jānī.
She who dwells close to her Lord is always the pure, happy soul-bride; she is famous in the ten directions.

ਪ੍ਰਿਅ ਰੰਗ ਰੰਗਿ ਰਤੀ ਨਾਰਾਇਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਤਿਸੁ ਕੁਰਬਾਨੀ ॥੨॥੧੦੪॥੧੨੭॥
प्रिअ रंग रंगि रती नाराइन नानक तिसु कुरबानी ॥२॥१०४॥१२७॥
Pari▫a rang rang raṯī nārā▫in Nānak ṯis kurbānī. ||2||104||127||
She is imbued with the Love of her Loving Beloved Lord; Nanak is a sacrifice to her. ||2||104||127||

ਤੁਅ ਚਰਨ ਆਸਰੋ ਈਸ ॥

O Lord, I take the Support of Your Lotus Feet.

ਤੁਮਹਿ ਪਛਾਨੂ ਸਾਕੁ ਤੁਮਹਿ ਸੰਗਿ ਰਾਖਨਹਾਰ ਤੁਮੈ ਜਗਦੀਸ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
तुमहि पछानू साकु तुमहि संगि राखनहार तुमै जगदीस ॥ रहाउ ॥
Ŧumėh pacẖẖānū sāk ṯumėh sang rākẖanhār ṯumai jagḏīs. Rahā▫o.
You are my Best Friend and Companion; I am with You. You are our Protector, O Lord of the Universe. ||1||Pause||

ਤੂ ਹਮਰੋ ਹਮ ਤੁਮਰੇ ਕਹੀਐ ਇਤ ਉਤ ਤੁਮ ਹੀ ਰਾਖੇ ॥
तू हमरो हम तुमरे कहीऐ इत उत तुम ही राखे ॥
Ŧū hamro ham ṯumre kahī▫ai iṯ uṯ ṯum hī rākẖe.
You are mine, and I am Yours; here and hereafter, You are my Saving Grace.

ਤੂ ਬੇਅੰਤੁ ਅਪਰੰਪਰੁ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਗੁਰ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕੋਈ ਲਾਖੈ ॥੧॥
तू बेअंतु अपर्मपरु सुआमी गुर किरपा कोई लाखै ॥१॥
Ŧū be▫anṯ aprampar su▫āmī gur kirpā ko▫ī lākẖai. ||1||
You are Endless and Infinite, O my Lord and Master; by Guru’s Grace, a few understand. ||1||
|
ਬਿਨੁ ਬਕਨੇ ਬਿਨੁ ਕਹਨ ਕਹਾਵਨ ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ ਜਾਨੈ ॥
बिनु बकने बिनु कहन कहावन अंतरजामी जानै ॥
Bin bakne bin kahan kahāvan anṯarjāmī jānai.
Without being spoken, without being told, You know all, O Searcher of hearts.

ਜਾ ਕਉ ਮੇਲਿ ਲਏ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਸੇ ਜਨ ਦਰਗਹ ਮਾਨੇ ॥੨॥੧੦੫॥੧੨੮॥
जा कउ मेलि लए प्रभु नानकु से जन दरगह माने ॥२॥१०५॥१२८॥
Jā ka▫o mel la▫e parabẖ Nānak se jan ḏargėh māne. ||2||105||128||
One whom God unites with Himself, O Nanak! That humble being is honored in the Court of the Lord. ||2||105||128||
