ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਦਰਸੁ ਪੇਖਿ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਸਭ ਪੂਰਨ ਹੋਈ ਆਸਾ ॥੨॥੧੫॥੩੮॥
कहु नानक दरसु पेखि सुखु पाइआ सभ पूरन होई आसा ॥२॥१५॥३८॥
Kaho Nānak ḏaras pekẖ sukẖ pā▫i▫ā sabẖ pūran ho▫ī āsā. ||2||15||38||
Says Nanak, gazing upon the Blessed Vision of His Darshan, I have found peace, and all my hopes have been fulfilled. ||2||15||38||

Saarang, Fifth Mehl:

ਚਰਨਹ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਮਾਰਗੁ ਸੁਹਾਵਾ ॥
चरनह गोबिंद मारगु सुहावा ॥
Cẖarnah gobinḏ mārag suhāvā.
The most beautiful path for the feet is to follow the Lord of the Universe.

ਆਨ ਮਾਰਗ ਜੇਤਾ ਕਿਛੁ ਧਾਈਐ ਤੇਤੋ ਹੀ ਦੁਖੁ ਹਾਵਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
आन मारग जेता किछु धाईऐ तेतो ही दुखु हावा ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Ān mārag jeṯā kicẖẖ ḏẖā▫ī▫ai ṯeṯo hī ḏukẖ hāvā. ||1|| rahā▫o.
The more you walk on any other path, the more you suffer in pain. ||1||Pause||

ਨੇਤ੍ਰ ਪੁਨੀਤ ਭਏ ਦਰਸੁ ਪੇਖੇ ਹਸਤ ਪੁਨੀਤ ਟਹਲਾਵਾ ॥
नेत्र पुनीत भए दरसु पेखे हसत पुनीत टहलावा ॥
Neṯar punīṯ bẖa▫e ḏaras pekẖe hasaṯ punīṯ tėhlāvā.
The eyes are sanctified, gazing upon the Blessed Vision of the Lord's Darshan. Serving Him, the hands are sanctified.

ਰਿਦਾ ਪੁਨੀਤ ਰਿਦੈ ਹਰਿ ਬਸਿਓ ਮਸਤ ਪੁਨੀਤ ਸੰਤ ਧੂਰਾਵਾ ॥੧॥
रिदा पुनीत रिदै हरि बसिओ मसत पुनीत संत धूरावा ॥१॥
Riḏā punīṯ riḏai har basi▫o masaṯ punīṯ sanṯ ḏẖūrāvā. ||1||
The heart is sanctified, when the Lord abides within the heart; that forehead which touches the dust of the feet of the Saints is sanctified. ||1||
|
ਸਰਬ ਨਿਧਾਨ ਨਾਮਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਕੈ ਜਿਸੁ ਕਰਮਿ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਤਿਨਿ ਪਾਵਾ ॥
सरब निधान नामि हरि हरि कै जिसु करमि लिखिआ तिनि पावा ॥
Sarab niḏẖān nām har har kai jis karam likẖi▫ā ṯin pāvā.
All treasures are in the Name of the Lord, Har, Har; he alone obtains it, who has it written in his karma.

ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਕਉ ਗੁਰੁ ਪੂਰਾ ਭੇਟਿਓ ਸੁਖਿ ਸਹਜੇ ਅਨਦ ਬਿਹਾਵਾ ॥੨॥੧੬॥੩੯॥
जन नानक कउ गुरु पूरा भेटिओ सुखि सहजे अनद बिहावा ॥२॥१६॥३९॥
Jan Nānak ka▫o gur pūrā bẖeti▫o sukẖ sėhje anaḏ bihāvā. ||2||16||39||
Servant Nanak has met with the Perfect Guru; he passes his life-night in peace, poise and pleasure. ||2||16||39||

Saarang, Fifth Mehl:

ਧਿਆਇਓ ਅੰਤਿ ਬਾਰ ਨਾਮੁ ਸਖਾ ॥
धिआइओ अंति बार नामु सखा ॥
Ḏẖi▫ā▫i▫o anṯ bār nām sakẖā.
Meditate on the Naam, the Name of the Lord; at the very last instant, it shall be your Help and Support.

ਜਹ ਮਾਤ ਪਿਤਾ ਸੁਤ ਭਾਈ ਨ ਪਹੁਚੈ ਤਹਾ ਤਹਾ ਤੂ ਰਖਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
जह मात पिता सुत भाई न पहुचै तहा तहा तू रखा ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Jah māṯ piṯā suṯ bẖā▫ī na pahucẖai ṯahā ṯahā ṯū rakẖā. ||1|| rahā▫o.
In that place where your mother, father, children and siblings shall be of no use to you at all, there, the Name alone shall save you. ||1||Pause||

ਅੰਧ ਕੂਪ ਗ੍ਰਿਹ ਮਹਿ ਤਿਨਿ ਸਿਮਰਿਓ ਜਿਸੁ ਮਸਤਕਿ ਲੇਖੁ ਲਿਖਾ ॥
अंध कूप ग्रिह महि तिनि सिमरिओ जिसु मसतकि लेखु लिखा ॥
Anḏẖ kūp garih mėh ṯin simri▫o jis masṯak lekẖ likẖā.
He alone meditates on the Lord in the deep dark pit of his own household, upon whose forehead such destiny is written.

ਖੂਲ੍ਹ੍ਹੇ ਬੰਧਨ ਮੁਕਤਿ ਗੁਰਿ ਕੀਨੀ ਸਭ ਤੂਹੈ ਤੁਹੀ ਦਿਖਾ ॥੧॥
खूल्हे बंधन मुकति गुरि कीनी सभ तूहै तुही दिखा ॥१॥
Kẖūlĥe banḏẖan mukaṯ gur kīnī sabẖ ṯūhai ṯuhī ḏikẖā. ||1||
His bonds are loosened, and the Guru liberates him. He sees You, O Lord, everywhere. ||1||
|
ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਨਾਮੁ ਪੀਆ ਮਨੁ ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤਿਆ ਆਘਾਏ ਰਸਨ ਚਖਾ ॥
अम्रित नामु पीआ मनु त्रिपतिआ आघाए रसन चखा ॥
Amriṯ nām pī▫ā man ṯaripṯi▫ā āgẖā▫e rasan cẖakẖā.
Drinking in the Ambrosial Nectar of the Naam, his mind is satisfied. Tasting it, his tongue is satiated.

ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਸੁਖ ਸਹਜੁ ਮੈ ਪਾਇਆ ਗੁਰਿ ਲਾਹੀ ਸਗਲ ਤਿਖਾ ॥੨॥੧੭॥੪੦॥
कहु नानक सुख सहजु मै पाइआ गुरि लाही सगल तिखा ॥२॥१७॥४०॥
Kaho Nānak sukẖ sahj mai pā▫i▫ā gur lāhī sagal ṯikẖā. ||2||17||40||
Says Nanak, I have obtained celestial peace and poise; the Guru has quenched all my thirst. ||2||17||40||

ਗੁਰ ਮਿਲਿ ਐਸੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਧਿਆਇਆ ॥
गुर मिलि ऐसे प्रभू धिआइआ ॥
Gur mil aise parabẖū ḏẖi▫ā▫i▫ā.
Meeting the Guru, I meditate on God in such a way,

ਭਇਓ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਲੁ ਦਇਆਲੁ ਦੁਖ ਭੰਜਨੁ ਲਗੈ ਨ ਤਾਤੀ ਬਾਇਆ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
भइओ क्रिपालु दइआलु दुख भंजनु लगै न ताती बाइआ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Bẖa▫i▫o kirpāl ḏa▫i▫āl ḏukẖ bẖanjan lagai na ṯāṯī bā▫i▫ā. ||1|| rahā▫o.
that He has become kind and compassionate to me. He is the Destroyer of pain; He does not allow the hot wind to even touch me. ||1||Pause||
|
ਜੇਤੇ ਸਾਸ ਸਾਸ ਹਮ ਲੇਤੇ ਤੇਤੇ ਹੀ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਇਆ ॥
जेते सास सास हम लेते तेते ही गुण गाइआ ॥
Jeṯe sās sās ham leṯe ṯeṯe hī guṇ gā▫i▫ā.
With each and every breath I take, I sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord.

ਨਿਮਖ ਨ ਬਿਛੁਰੈ ਘਰੀ ਨ ਬਿਸਰੈ ਸਦ ਸੰਗੇ ਜਤ ਜਾਇਆ ॥੧॥
निमख न बिछुरै घरी न बिसरै सद संगे जत जाइआ ॥१॥
Nimakẖ na bicẖẖurai gẖarī na bisrai saḏ sange jaṯ jā▫i▫ā. ||1||
He is not separated from me, even for an instant, and I never forget Him. He is always with me, wherever I go. ||1||
|
ਹਉ ਬਲਿ ਬਲਿ ਬਲਿ ਬਲਿ ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਕਉ ਬਲਿ ਬਲਿ ਗੁਰ ਦਰਸਾਇਆ ॥
हउ बलि बलि बलि बलि चरन कमल कउ बलि बलि गुर दरसाइआ ॥
Ha▫o bal bal bal bal cẖaran kamal ka▫o bal bal gur ḏarsā▫i▫ā.
I am a sacrifice, a sacrifice, a sacrifice, a sacrifice to His Lotus Feet. I am a sacrifice, a sacrifice to the Blessed Vision of the Guru's Darshan.

ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਕਾਹੂ ਪਰਵਾਹਾ ਜਉ ਸੁਖ ਸਾਗਰੁ ਮੈ ਪਾਇਆ ॥੨॥੧੮॥੪੧॥
कहु नानक काहू परवाहा जउ सुख सागरु मै पाइआ ॥२॥१८॥४१॥
Kaho Nānak kāhū parvāhā ja▫o sukẖ sāgar mai pā▫i▫ā. ||2||18||41||
Says Nanak, I do not care about anything else; I have found the Lord, the Ocean of peace. ||2||18||41||

ਮੇਰੈ ਮਨਿ ਸਬਦੁ ਲਗੋ ਗੁਰ ਮੀਠਾ ॥
मेरै मनि सबदु लगो गुर मीठा ॥
Merai man sabaḏ lago gur mīṯẖā.
The Word of the Guru's Shabad seems so sweet to my mind.

ਖੁਲ੍ਹ੍ਹਿਓ ਕਰਮੁ ਭਇਓ ਪਰਗਾਸਾ ਘਟਿ ਘਟਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਡੀਠਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
खुल्हिओ करमु भइओ परगासा घटि घटि हरि हरि डीठा ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Kẖuliĥa▫o karam bẖa▫i▫o pargāsā gẖat gẖat har har dīṯẖā. ||1|| rahā▫o.
My karma has been activated, and the Divine Radiance of the Lord, Har, Har, is manifest in each and every heart. ||1||Pause||

ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਆਜੋਨੀ ਸੰਭਉ ਸਰਬ ਥਾਨ ਘਟ ਬੀਠਾ ॥
पारब्रहम आजोनी स्मभउ सरब थान घट बीठा ॥
Pārbarahm ājonī sambẖa▫o sarab thān gẖat bīṯẖā.
The Supreme Lord God, beyond birth, Self-existent, is seated within every heart everywhere.

ਭਇਓ ਪਰਾਪਤਿ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਨਾਮਾ ਬਲਿ ਬਲਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਚਰਣੀਠਾ ॥੧॥
भइओ परापति अम्रित नामा बलि बलि प्रभ चरणीठा ॥१॥
Bẖa▫i▫o parāpaṯ amriṯ nāmā bal bal parabẖ cẖarṇīṯẖā. ||1||
I have come to obtain the Ambrosial Nectar of the Naam, the Name of the Lord. I am a sacrifice, a sacrifice to the Lotus Feet of God. ||1||
|
ਸਤਸੰਗਤਿ ਕੀ ਰੇਣੁ ਮੁਖਿ ਲਾਗੀ ਕੀਏ ਸਗਲ ਤੀਰਥ ਮਜਨੀਠਾ ॥
सतसंगति की रेणु मुखि लागी कीए सगल तीरथ मजनीठा ॥
Saṯsangaṯ kī reṇ mukẖ lāgī kī▫e sagal ṯirath majnīṯẖā.
I anoint my forehead with the dust of the Society of the Saints; it is as if I have bathed at all the sacred shrines of pilgrimage.

ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਰੰਗਿ ਚਲੂਲ ਭਏ ਹੈ ਹਰਿ ਰੰਗੁ ਨ ਲਹੈ ਮਜੀਠਾ ॥੨॥੧੯॥੪੨॥
कहु नानक रंगि चलूल भए है हरि रंगु न लहै मजीठा ॥२॥१९॥४२॥
Kaho Nānak rang cẖalūl bẖa▫e hai har rang na lahai majīṯẖā. ||2||19||42||
Says Nanak, I am dyed in the deep crimson color of His Love; the Love of my Lord shall never fade away. ||2||19||42||

ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਦੀਓ ਗੁਰਿ ਸਾਥੇ ॥
हरि हरि नामु दीओ गुरि साथे ॥
Har har nām ḏī▫o gur sāthe.
The Guru has given me the Name of the Lord, Har, Har, as my Companion.

ਨਿਮਖ ਬਚਨੁ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਹੀਅਰੈ ਬਸਿਓ ਸਗਲ ਭੂਖ ਮੇਰੀ ਲਾਥੇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
निमख बचनु प्रभ हीअरै बसिओ सगल भूख मेरी लाथे ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Nimakẖ bacẖan parabẖ hī▫arai basi▫o sagal bẖūkẖ merī lāthe. ||1|| rahā▫o.
If the Word of God dwells within my heart for even an instant, all my hunger is relieved. ||1||Pause||

ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਨਿਧਾਨ ਗੁਣ ਨਾਇਕ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਸੁਖ ਸਮੂਹ ਸਭ ਨਾਥੇ ॥
क्रिपा निधान गुण नाइक ठाकुर सुख समूह सभ नाथे ॥
Kirpā niḏẖān guṇ nā▫ik ṯẖākur sukẖ samūh sabẖ nāthe.
O Treasure of Mercy, Master of Excellence, my Lord and Master, Ocean of peace, Lord of all.

ਏਕ ਆਸ ਮੋਹਿ ਤੇਰੀ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਅਉਰ ਦੁਤੀਆ ਆਸ ਬਿਰਾਥੇ ॥੧॥
एक आस मोहि तेरी सुआमी अउर दुतीआ आस बिराथे ॥१॥
Ėk ās mohi ṯerī su▫āmī a▫or ḏuṯī▫ā ās birāthe. ||1||
My hopes rest in You alone, O my Lord and Master; hope in anything else is useless. ||1||
|
ਨੈਣ ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤਾਸੇ ਦੇਖਿ ਦਰਸਾਵਾ ਗੁਰਿ ਕਰ ਧਾਰੇ ਮੇਰੈ ਮਾਥੇ ॥
नैण त्रिपतासे देखि दरसावा गुरि कर धारे मेरै माथे ॥
Naiṇ ṯaripṯāse ḏekẖ ḏarsāvā gur kar ḏẖāre merai māthe.
My eyes were satisfied and fulfilled, gazing upon the Blessed Vision of His Darshan, when the Guru placed His Hand on my forehead.
