ਸ੍ਰਵਣੀ ਕੀਰਤਨੁ ਸੁਨਉ ਦਿਨੁ ਰਾਤੀ ਹਿਰਦੈ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਭਾਨੀ ॥੩॥
स्रवणी कीरतनु सुनउ दिनु राती हिरदै हरि हरि भानी ॥३॥
Sarvaṇī kīrṯan sun▫o ḏin rāṯī hirḏai har har bẖānī. ||3||
With my ears, I listen to the Kirtan of His Praises, day and night. I love the Lord, Har, Har, with all my heart. ||3||

ਪੰਚ ਜਨਾ ਗੁਰਿ ਵਸਗਤਿ ਆਣੇ ਤਉ ਉਨਮਨਿ ਨਾਮਿ ਲਗਾਨੀ ॥
पंच जना गुरि वसगति आणे तउ उनमनि नामि लगानी ॥
Pancẖ janā gur vasgaṯ āṇe ṯa▫o unman nām lagānī.
When the Guru helped me to overcome the five thieves, then I found ultimate bliss, attached to the Naam.

ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਧਾਰੀ ਹਰਿ ਰਾਮੈ ਨਾਮਿ ਸਮਾਨੀ ॥੪॥੫॥
जन नानक हरि किरपा धारी हरि रामै नामि समानी ॥४॥५॥
Jan Nānak har kirpā ḏẖārī har rāmai nām samānī. ||4||5||
The Lord has showered His Mercy on servant Nanak; he merges in the Lord, in the Name of the Lord. ||4||5||

ਜਪਿ ਮਨ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮੁ ਪੜ੍ਹੁ ਸਾਰੁ ॥
जपि मन राम नामु पड़्हु सारु ॥
Jap man rām nām paṛho sār.
O my mind, chant the Name of the Lord, and study His Excellence.

ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮ ਬਿਨੁ ਥਿਰੁ ਨਹੀ ਕੋਈ ਹੋਰੁ ਨਿਹਫਲ ਸਭੁ ਬਿਸਥਾਰੁ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
राम नाम बिनु थिरु नही कोई होरु निहफल सभु बिसथारु ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Rām nām bin thir nahī ko▫ī hor nihfal sabẖ bisthār. ||1|| rahā▫o.
Without the Lord's Name, nothing is steady or stable. All the rest of the show is useless. ||1||Pause||

ਕਿਆ ਲੀਜੈ ਕਿਆ ਤਜੀਐ ਬਉਰੇ ਜੋ ਦੀਸੈ ਸੋ ਛਾਰੁ ॥
किआ लीजै किआ तजीऐ बउरे जो दीसै सो छारु ॥
Ki▫ā lījai ki▫ā ṯajī▫ai ba▫ure jo ḏīsai so cẖẖār.
What is there to accept, and what is there to reject, O madman? Whatever is seen shall turn to dust.

ਜਿਸੁ ਬਿਖਿਆ ਕਉ ਤੁਮ੍ਹ੍ਹ ਅਪੁਨੀ ਕਰਿ ਜਾਨਹੁ ਸਾ ਛਾਡਿ ਜਾਹੁ ਸਿਰਿ ਭਾਰੁ ॥੧॥
जिसु बिखिआ कउ तुम्ह अपुनी करि जानहु सा छाडि जाहु सिरि भारु ॥१॥
Jis bikẖi▫ā ka▫o ṯumĥ apunī kar jānhu sā cẖẖād jāhu sir bẖār. ||1||
That poison which you believe to be your own - you must abandon it and leave it behind. What a load you have to carry on your head! ||1||

ਤਿਲੁ ਤਿਲੁ ਪਲੁ ਪਲੁ ਅਉਧ ਫੁਨਿ ਘਾਟੈ ਬੂਝਿ ਨ ਸਕੈ ਗਵਾਰੁ ॥
तिलु तिलु पलु पलु अउध फुनि घाटै बूझि न सकै गवारु ॥
Ŧil ṯil pal pal a▫oḏẖ fun gẖātai būjẖ na sakai gavār.
Moment by moment, instant by instant, your life is running out. The fool cannot understand this.

ਸੋ ਕਿਛੁ ਕਰੈ ਜਿ ਸਾਥਿ ਨ ਚਾਲੈ ਇਹੁ ਸਾਕਤ ਕਾ ਆਚਾਰੁ ॥੨॥
सो किछु करै जि साथि न चालै इहु साकत का आचारु ॥२॥
So kicẖẖ karai jė sāth na cẖālai ih sākaṯ kā ācẖār. ||2||
He does things which will not go along with him in the end. This is the lifestyle of the faithless cynic. ||2||
|
ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਮਿਲੁ ਬਉਰੇ ਤਉ ਪਾਵਹਿ ਮੋਖ ਦੁਆਰੁ ॥
संत जना कै संगि मिलु बउरे तउ पावहि मोख दुआरु ॥
Sanṯ janā kai sang mil ba▫ure ṯa▫o pāvahi mokẖ ḏu▫ār.
So join together with the humble Saints, O madman, and you shall find the Gate of Salvation.

ਬਿਨੁ ਸਤਸੰਗ ਸੁਖੁ ਕਿਨੈ ਨ ਪਾਇਆ ਜਾਇ ਪੂਛਹੁ ਬੇਦ ਬੀਚਾਰੁ ॥੩॥
बिनु सतसंग सुखु किनै न पाइआ जाइ पूछहु बेद बीचारु ॥३॥
Bin saṯsang sukẖ kinai na pā▫i▫ā jā▫e pūcẖẖahu beḏ bīcẖār. ||3||
Without the Sat Sangat, the True Congregation, no one finds any peace. Go and ask the scholars of the Vedas. ||3||

ਰਾਣਾ ਰਾਉ ਸਭੈ ਕੋਊ ਚਾਲੈ ਝੂਠੁ ਛੋਡਿ ਜਾਇ ਪਾਸਾਰੁ ॥
राणा राउ सभै कोऊ चालै झूठु छोडि जाइ पासारु ॥
Rāṇā rā▫o sabẖai ko▫ū cẖālai jẖūṯẖ cẖẖod jā▫e pāsār.
All the kings and queens shall depart; they must leave this false expanse.

ਨਾਨਕ ਸੰਤ ਸਦਾ ਥਿਰੁ ਨਿਹਚਲੁ ਜਿਨ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮੁ ਆਧਾਰੁ ॥੪॥੬॥
नानक संत सदा थिरु निहचलु जिन राम नामु आधारु ॥४॥६॥
Nānak sanṯ saḏā thir nihcẖal jin rām nām āḏẖār. ||4||6||
O Nanak, the Saints are eternally steady and stable; they take the Support of the Name of the Lord. ||4||6||

ਕਾਹੇ ਪੂਤ ਝਗਰਤ ਹਉ ਸੰਗਿ ਬਾਪ ॥
काहे पूत झगरत हउ संगि बाप ॥
Kāhe pūṯ jẖagraṯ ha▫o sang bāp.
O son, why do you argue with your father?

ਜਿਨ ਕੇ ਜਣੇ ਬਡੀਰੇ ਤੁਮ ਹਉ ਤਿਨ ਸਿਉ ਝਗਰਤ ਪਾਪ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
जिन के जणे बडीरे तुम हउ तिन सिउ झगरत पाप ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Jin ke jaṇe badīre ṯum ha▫o ṯin si▫o jẖagraṯ pāp. ||1|| rahā▫o.
It is a sin to argue with the one who fathered you and raised you. ||1||Pause||

ਜਿਸੁ ਧਨ ਕਾ ਤੁਮ ਗਰਬੁ ਕਰਤ ਹਉ ਸੋ ਧਨੁ ਕਿਸਹਿ ਨ ਆਪ ॥
जिसु धन का तुम गरबु करत हउ सो धनु किसहि न आप ॥
Jis ḏẖan kā ṯum garab karaṯ ha▫o so ḏẖan kisėh na āp.
That wealth, which you are so proud of - that wealth does not belong to anyone.

ਖਿਨ ਮਹਿ ਛੋਡਿ ਜਾਇ ਬਿਖਿਆ ਰਸੁ ਤਉ ਲਾਗੈ ਪਛੁਤਾਪ ॥੧॥
खिन महि छोडि जाइ बिखिआ रसु तउ लागै पछुताप ॥१॥
Kẖin mėh cẖẖod jā▫e bikẖi▫ā ras ṯa▫o lāgai pacẖẖuṯāp. ||1||
In an instant, you shall have to leave behind all your corrupt pleasures; you shall be left to regret and repent. ||1||
|
ਜੋ ਤੁਮਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਹੋਤੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਹਰਿ ਤਿਨ ਕੇ ਜਾਪਹੁ ਜਾਪ ॥
जो तुमरे प्रभ होते सुआमी हरि तिन के जापहु जाप ॥
Jo ṯumre parabẖ hoṯe su▫āmī har ṯin ke jāpahu jāp.
He is God, your Lord and Master - chant the Chant of that Lord.

ਉਪਦੇਸੁ ਕਰਤ ਨਾਨਕ ਜਨ ਤੁਮ ਕਉ ਜਉ ਸੁਨਹੁ ਤਉ ਜਾਇ ਸੰਤਾਪ ॥੨॥੧॥੭॥
उपदेसु करत नानक जन तुम कउ जउ सुनहु तउ जाइ संताप ॥२॥१॥७॥
Upḏes karaṯ Nānak jan ṯum ka▫o ja▫o sunhu ṯa▫o jā▫e sanṯāp. ||2||1||7||
Servant Nanak spreads the Teachings; if you listen to it, you shall be rid of your pain. ||2||1||7||

ਜਪਿ ਮਨ ਜਗੰਨਾਥ ਜਗਦੀਸਰੋ ਜਗਜੀਵਨੋ ਮਨਮੋਹਨ ਸਿਉ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਲਾਗੀ ਮੈ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਟੇਕ ਸਭ ਦਿਨਸੁ ਸਭ ਰਾਤਿ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
जपि मन जगंनाथ जगदीसरो जगजीवनो मनमोहन सिउ प्रीति लागी मै हरि हरि हरि टेक सभ दिनसु सभ राति ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Jap man jagannāth jagḏīsro jagjīvano manmohan si▫o parīṯ lāgī mai har har har tek sabẖ ḏinas sabẖ rāṯ. ||1|| rahā▫o.
O my mind, meditate on the Lord of the World, the Master of the Universe, the Life of the World, the Enticer of the mind; fall in love with Him. I take the Support of the Lord, Har, Har, Har, all day and all night. ||1||Pause||

ਹਰਿ ਕੀ ਉਪਮਾ ਅਨਿਕ ਅਨਿਕ ਅਨਿਕ ਗੁਨ ਗਾਵਤ ਸੁਕ ਨਾਰਦ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾਦਿਕ ਤਵ ਗੁਨ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਗਨਿਨ ਨ ਜਾਤਿ ॥
हरि की उपमा अनिक अनिक अनिक गुन गावत सुक नारद ब्रहमादिक तव गुन सुआमी गनिन न जाति ॥
Har kī upmā anik anik anik gun gāvaṯ suk nāraḏ barahmāḏik ṯav gun su▫āmī ganin na jāṯ.
Endless, endless, endless are the Praises of the Lord. Suk Dayv, Naarad and the gods like Brahma sing His Glorious Praises. Your Glorious Virtues, O my Lord and Master, cannot even be counted.

ਤੂ ਹਰਿ ਬੇਅੰਤੁ ਤੂ ਹਰਿ ਬੇਅੰਤੁ ਤੂ ਹਰਿ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਤੂ ਆਪੇ ਹੀ ਜਾਨਹਿ ਆਪਨੀ ਭਾਂਤਿ ॥੧॥
तू हरि बेअंतु तू हरि बेअंतु तू हरि सुआमी तू आपे ही जानहि आपनी भांति ॥१॥
Ŧū har be▫anṯ ṯū har be▫anṯ ṯū har su▫āmī ṯū āpe hī jānėh āpnī bẖāʼnṯ. ||1||
O Lord, You are Infinite, O Lord, You are Infinite, O Lord, You are my Lord and Master; only You Yourself know Your Own Ways. ||1||
|
ਹਰਿ ਕੈ ਨਿਕਟਿ ਨਿਕਟਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਿਕਟ ਹੀ ਬਸਤੇ ਤੇ ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਜਨ ਸਾਧੂ ਹਰਿ ਭਗਾਤ ॥
हरि कै निकटि निकटि हरि निकट ही बसते ते हरि के जन साधू हरि भगात ॥
Har kai nikat nikat har nikat hī basṯe ṯe har ke jan sāḏẖū har bẖagāṯ.
Those who are near, near to the Lord - those who dwell near the Lord - those humble servants of the Lord are the Holy, the devotees of the Lord.

ਤੇ ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਜਨ ਹਰਿ ਸਿਉ ਰਲਿ ਮਿਲੇ ਜੈਸੇ ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਲਲੈ ਸਲਲ ਮਿਲਾਤਿ ॥੨॥੧॥੮॥
ते हरि के जन हरि सिउ रलि मिले जैसे जन नानक सललै सलल मिलाति ॥२॥१॥८॥
Ŧe har ke jan har si▫o ral mile jaise jan Nānak sallai salal milāṯ. ||2||1||8||
Those humble servants of the Lord merge with their Lord, O Nanak, like water merging with water. ||2||1||8||
