ਇਨ ਬਿਧਿ ਹਰਿ ਮਿਲੀਐ ਵਰ ਕਾਮਨਿ ਧਨ ਸੋਹਾਗੁ ਪਿਆਰੀ ॥
In biḏẖ har milī▫ai var kāman ḏẖan sohāg pi▫ārī.
This is the way to meet your Husband Lord. Blessed is the soul-bride who is loved by her Husband Lord.

ਜਾਤਿ ਬਰਨ ਕੁਲ ਸਹਸਾ ਚੂਕਾ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਸਬਦਿ ਬੀਚਾਰੀ ॥੧॥
Jāṯ baran kul sahsā cẖūkā gurmaṯ sabaḏ bīcẖārī. ||1||
Social class and status, race, ancestry and skepticism are eliminated, following the Guru's Teachings and contemplating the Word of the Shabad. ||1||

ਜਿਸੁ ਮਨੁ ਮਾਨੈ ਅਭਿਮਾਨੁ ਨ ਤਾ ਕਉ ਹਿੰਸਾ ਲੋਭੁ ਵਿਸਾਰੇ ॥
Jis man mānai abẖimān na ṯā ka▫o hinsā lobẖ visāre.
One whose mind is pleased and appeased, has no egotistical pride. Violence and greed are forgotten.

ਸਹਜਿ ਰਵੈ ਵਰੁ ਕਾਮਣਿ ਪਿਰ ਕੀ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਰੰਗਿ ਸਵਾਰੇ ॥੨॥
Sahj ravai var kāmaṇ pir kī gurmukẖ rang savāre. ||2||
The soul-bride intuitively ravishes and enjoys her Husband Lord; as Gurmukh, she is embellished by His Love. ||2||

ਜਾਰਉ ਐਸੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਕੁਟੰਬ ਸਨਬੰਧੀ ਮਾਇਆ ਮੋਹ ਪਸਾਰੀ ॥
Jāra▫o aisī parīṯ kutamb sanbanḏẖī mā▫i▫ā moh pasārī.
Burn away any love of family and relatives, which increases your attachment to Maya.

ਜਿਸੁ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਰਾਮ ਰਸੁ ਨਾਹੀ ਦੁਬਿਧਾ ਕਰਮ ਬਿਕਾਰੀ ॥੩॥
Jis anṯar parīṯ rām ras nāhī ḏubiḏẖā karam bikārī. ||3||
One who does not savor the Lord's Love deep within, lives in duality and corruption. ||3||

ਅੰਤਰਿ ਰਤਨ ਪਦਾਰਥ ਹਿਤ ਕੌ ਦੁਰੈ ਨ ਲਾਲ ਪਿਆਰੀ ॥
Anṯar raṯan paḏārath hiṯ kou ḏurai na lāl pi▫ārī.
His Love is a priceless jewel deep within my being; the Lover of my Beloved is not hidden.

ਨਾਨਕ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਅਮੋਲਕੁ ਜੁਗਿ ਜੁਗਿ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਧਾਰੀ ॥੪॥੩॥
Nānak gurmukẖ nām amolak jug jug anṯar ḏẖārī. ||4||3||
O Nanak, as Gurmukh, enshrine the Priceless Naam deep within your being, all the ages through. ||4||3||

One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:

ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾ ਕੀ ਹਮ ਧੂਰਿ ॥
Har ke sanṯ janā kī ham ḏẖūr.
I am the dust of the feet of the humble Saints of the Lord.
|
ਮਿਲਿ ਸਤਸੰਗਤਿ ਪਰਮ ਪਦੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਆਤਮ ਰਾਮੁ ਰਹਿਆ ਭਰਪੂਰਿ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Mil saṯsangaṯ param paḏ pā▫i▫ā āṯam rām rahi▫ā bẖarpūr. ||1|| rahā▫o.
Joining the Sat Sangat, the True Congregation, I have obtained the supreme status. The Lord, the Supreme Soul, is all-pervading everywhere. ||1||Pause||

ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਸੰਤੁ ਮਿਲੈ ਸਾਂਤਿ ਪਾਈਐ ਕਿਲਵਿਖ ਦੁਖ ਕਾਟੇ ਸਭਿ ਦੂਰਿ ॥
Saṯgur sanṯ milai sāʼnṯ pā▫ī▫ai kilvikẖ ḏukẖ kāte sabẖ ḏūr.
Meeting the Saintly True Guru, I have found peace and tranquility. Sins and painful mistakes are totally erased and taken away.

ਆਤਮ ਜੋਤਿ ਭਈ ਪਰਫੂਲਿਤ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਨਿਰੰਜਨੁ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਹਜੂਰਿ ॥੧॥
Āṯam joṯ bẖa▫ī parfūliṯ purakẖ niranjan ḏekẖi▫ā hajūr. ||1||
The Divine Light of the soul radiates forth, gazing upon the Presence of the Immaculate Lord God. ||1||

ਵਡੈ ਭਾਗਿ ਸਤਸੰਗਤਿ ਪਾਈ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਰਹਿਆ ਭਰਪੂਰਿ ॥
vadai bẖāg saṯsangaṯ pā▫ī har har nām rahi▫ā bẖarpūr.
By great good fortune, I have found the Sat Sangat; the Name of the Lord, Har, Har, is all-pervading everywhere.

ਅਠਸਠਿ ਤੀਰਥ ਮਜਨੁ ਕੀਆ ਸਤਸੰਗਤਿ ਪਗ ਨਾਏ ਧੂਰਿ ॥੨॥
Aṯẖsaṯẖ ṯirath majan kī▫ā saṯsangaṯ pag nā▫e ḏẖūr. ||2||
I have taken my cleansing bath at the sixty-eight sacred shrines of pilgrimage, bathing in the dust of the feet of the True Congregation. ||2||

ਦੁਰਮਤਿ ਬਿਕਾਰ ਮਲੀਨ ਮਤਿ ਹੋਛੀ ਹਿਰਦਾ ਕੁਸੁਧੁ ਲਾਗਾ ਮੋਹ ਕੂਰੁ ॥
Ḏurmaṯ bikār malīn maṯ hocẖẖī hirḏā kusuḏẖ lāgā moh kūr.
Evil-minded and corrupt, filthy-minded and shallow, with impure heart, attached to enticement and falsehood.

ਬਿਨੁ ਕਰਮਾ ਕਿਉ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਪਾਈਐ ਹਉਮੈ ਬਿਆਪਿ ਰਹਿਆ ਮਨੁ ਝੂਰਿ ॥੩॥
Bin karmā ki▫o sangaṯ pā▫ī▫ai ha▫umai bi▫āp rahi▫ā man jẖūr. ||3||
Without good karma, how can I find the Sangat? Engrossed in egotism, the mortal remains stuck in regret. ||3||
|
ਹੋਹੁ ਦਇਆਲ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਜੀ ਮਾਗਉ ਸਤਸੰਗਤਿ ਪਗ ਧੂਰਿ ॥
Hohu ḏa▫i▫āl kirpā kar har jī māga▫o saṯsangaṯ pag ḏẖūr.
Be kind and show Your Mercy, O Dear Lord; I beg for the dust of the feet of the Sat Sangat.

ਨਾਨਕ ਸੰਤੁ ਮਿਲੈ ਹਰਿ ਪਾਈਐ ਜਨੁ ਹਰਿ ਭੇਟਿਆ ਰਾਮੁ ਹਜੂਰਿ ॥੪॥੧॥
Nānak sanṯ milai har pā▫ī▫ai jan har bẖeti▫ā rām hajūr. ||4||1||
O Nanak, meeting with the Saints, the Lord is attained. The Lord's humble servant obtains the Presence of the Lord. ||4||1||

Saarang, Fourth Mehl:

ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਚਰਨਨ ਕਉ ਬਲਿਹਾਰੀ ॥
Gobinḏ cẖarnan ka▫o balihārī.
I am a sacrifice to the Feet of the Lord of the Universe.

ਭਵਜਲੁ ਜਗਤੁ ਨ ਜਾਈ ਤਰਣਾ ਜਪਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਪਾਰਿ ਉਤਾਰੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Bẖavjal jagaṯ na jā▫ī ṯarṇā jap har har pār uṯārī. ||1|| rahā▫o.
I cannot swim across the terrifying world ocean. But chanting the Name of the Lord, Har, Har, I am carried across. ||1||Pause||

ਹਿਰਦੈ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਤਿ ਬਨੀ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੇਰੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਸੁਰਤਿ ਬੀਚਾਰੀ ॥
Hirḏai parṯīṯ banī parabẖ kerī sevā suraṯ bīcẖārī.
Faith in God came to fill my heart; I serve Him intuitively, and contemplate Him.

ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮੁ ਜਪਿ ਹਿਰਦੈ ਸਰਬ ਕਲਾ ਗੁਣਕਾਰੀ ॥੧॥
An▫ḏin rām nām jap hirḏai sarab kalā guṇkārī. ||1||
Night and day, I chant the Lord's Name within my heart; it is all-powerful and virtuous. ||1||
|
ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਅਗਮ ਅਗੋਚਰੁ ਰਵਿਆ ਸ੍ਰਬ ਠਾਈ ਮਨਿ ਤਨਿ ਅਲਖ ਅਪਾਰੀ ॥
Parabẖ agam agocẖar ravi▫ā sarab ṯẖā▫ī man ṯan alakẖ apārī.
God is Inaccessible and Unfathomable, All-pervading everywhere, in all minds and bodies; He is Infinite and Invisible.

ਗੁਰ ਕਿਰਪਾਲ ਭਏ ਤਬ ਪਾਇਆ ਹਿਰਦੈ ਅਲਖੁ ਲਖਾਰੀ ॥੨॥
Gur kirpāl bẖa▫e ṯab pā▫i▫ā hirḏai alakẖ lakẖārī. ||2||
When the Guru becomes merciful, then the Unseen Lord is seen within the heart. ||2||

ਅੰਤਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਸਰਬ ਧਰਣੀਧਰ ਸਾਕਤ ਕਉ ਦੂਰਿ ਭਇਆ ਅਹੰਕਾਰੀ ॥
Anṯar har nām sarab ḏẖarṇīḏẖar sākaṯ ka▫o ḏūr bẖa▫i▫ā ahaʼnkārī.
Deep within the inner being is the Name of the Lord, the Support of the entire earth, but to the egotistical shaakta, the faithless cynic, He seems far away.

ਤ੍ਰਿਸਨਾ ਜਲਤ ਨ ਕਬਹੂ ਬੂਝਹਿ ਜੂਐ ਬਾਜੀ ਹਾਰੀ ॥੩॥
Ŧarisnā jalaṯ na kabhū būjẖėh jū▫ai bājī hārī. ||3||
His burning desire is never quenched, and he loses the game of life in the gamble. ||3||
|
ਊਠਤ ਬੈਠਤ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਨ ਗਾਵਹਿ ਗੁਰਿ ਕਿੰਚਤ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਧਾਰੀ ॥
Ūṯẖaṯ baiṯẖaṯ har gun gāvahi gur kicẖanṯ kirpā ḏẖārī.
Standing up and sitting down, the mortal sings the Glorious Praises of the Lord, when the Guru bestows even a tiny bit of His Grace.

ਨਾਨਕ ਜਿਨ ਕਉ ਨਦਰਿ ਭਈ ਹੈ ਤਿਨ ਕੀ ਪੈਜ ਸਵਾਰੀ ॥੪॥੨॥
Nānak jin ka▫o naḏar bẖa▫ī hai ṯin kī paij savārī. ||4||2||
O Nanak, those who are blessed by His Glance of Grace - He saves and protects their honor. ||4||2||
