ਗੁਰਿ ਸੰਗਿ ਦਿਖਾਇਓ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਇ ॥੧॥
गुरि संगि दिखाइओ राम राइ ॥१॥
Gur sang ḏikẖā▫i▫o rām rā▫e. ||1||
The Guru has shown me that my Sovereign Lord God is with me. ||1||

ਮਿਲੁ ਸਖੀ ਸਹੇਲੀ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਨ ਬਨੇ
मिलु सखी सहेली हरि गुन बने ॥
Mil sakẖī sahelī har gun bane.
Joining together with my friends and companions, I am adorned with the Lord's Glorious Virtues.

ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸੰਗਿ ਖੇਲਹਿ ਵਰ ਕਾਮਨਿ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਖੋਜਤ ਮਨ ਮਨੇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ
हरि प्रभ संगि खेलहि वर कामनि गुरमुखि खोजत मन मने ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Har parabẖ sang kẖelėh var kāman gurmukẖ kẖojaṯ man mane. ||1|| rahā▫o.
The sublime soul-brides play with their Lord God. The Gurmukhs look within themselves; their minds are filled with faith. ||1||Pause||

ਮਨਮੁਖੀ ਦੁਹਾਗਣਿ ਨਾਹਿ ਭੇਉ
मनमुखी दुहागणि नाहि भेउ ॥
Manmukẖī ḏuhāgaṇ nāhi bẖe▫o.
The self-willed manmukhs, suffering in separation, do not understand this mystery.

ਓਹੁ ਘਟਿ ਘਟਿ ਰਾਵੈ ਸਰਬ ਪ੍ਰੇਉ
ओहु घटि घटि रावै सरब प्रेउ ॥
Oh gẖat gẖat rāvai sarab pare▫o.
The Beloved Lord of all celebrates in each and every heart.

ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਥਿਰੁ ਚੀਨੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਦੇਉ
गुरमुखि थिरु चीनै संगि देउ ॥
Gurmukẖ thir cẖīnai sang ḏe▫o.
The Gurmukh is stable, knowing that God is always with him.

ਗੁਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਦ੍ਰਿੜਾਇਆ ਜਪੁ ਜਪੇਉ ॥੨॥
गुरि नामु द्रिड़ाइआ जपु जपेउ ॥२॥
Gur nām driṛ▫ā▫i▫ā jap jape▫o. ||2||
The Guru has implanted the Naam within me; I chant it, and meditate on it. ||2||

ਬਿਨੁ ਗੁਰ ਭਗਤਿ ਭਾਉ ਹੋਇ
बिनु गुर भगति न भाउ होइ ॥
Bin gur bẖagaṯ na bẖā▫o ho▫e.
Without the Guru, devotional love does not well up within.

ਬਿਨੁ ਗੁਰ ਸੰਤ ਸੰਗੁ ਦੇਇ
बिनु गुर संत न संगु देइ ॥
Bin gur sanṯ na sang ḏe▫e.
Without the Guru, one is not blessed with the Society of the Saints.

ਬਿਨੁ ਗੁਰ ਅੰਧੁਲੇ ਧੰਧੁ ਰੋਇ
बिनु गुर अंधुले धंधु रोइ ॥
Bin gur anḏẖule ḏẖanḏẖ ro▫e.
Without the Guru, the blind cry out, entangled in worldly affairs.

ਮਨੁ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਨਿਰਮਲੁ ਮਲੁ ਸਬਦਿ ਖੋਇ ॥੩॥
मनु गुरमुखि निरमलु मलु सबदि खोइ ॥३॥
Man gurmukẖ nirmal mal sabaḏ kẖo▫e. ||3||
That mortal who becomes Gurmukh becomes immaculate; the Word of the Shabad washes away his filth. ||3||

ਗੁਰਿ ਮਨੁ ਮਾਰਿਓ ਕਰਿ ਸੰਜੋਗੁ
गुरि मनु मारिओ करि संजोगु ॥
Gur man māri▫o kar sanjog.
Uniting with the Guru, the mortal conquers and subdues his mind.

ਅਹਿਨਿਸਿ ਰਾਵੇ ਭਗਤਿ ਜੋਗੁ
अहिनिसि रावे भगति जोगु ॥
Ahinis rāve bẖagaṯ jog.
Day and night, he savors the Yoga of devotional worship.

ਗੁਰ ਸੰਤ ਸਭਾ ਦੁਖੁ ਮਿਟੈ ਰੋਗੁ
गुर संत सभा दुखु मिटै रोगु ॥
Gur sanṯ sabẖā ḏukẖ mitai rog.
Associating with the Saint Guru, suffering and sickness are ended.

ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਵਰੁ ਸਹਜ ਜੋਗੁ ॥੪॥੬॥
जन नानक हरि वरु सहज जोगु ॥४॥६॥
Jan Nānak har var sahj jog. ||4||6||
Servant Nanak merges with his Husband Lord, in the Yoga of intuitive ease. ||4||6||

ਬਸੰਤੁ ਮਹਲਾ
बसंतु महला १ ॥
Basanṯ mėhlā 1.
Basant, First Mehl:

ਆਪੇ ਕੁਦਰਤਿ ਕਰੇ ਸਾਜਿ
आपे कुदरति करे साजि ॥
Āpe kuḏraṯ kare sāj.
By His Creative Power, God fashioned the creation.

ਸਚੁ ਆਪਿ ਨਿਬੇੜੇ ਰਾਜੁ ਰਾਜਿ
सचु आपि निबेड़े राजु राजि ॥
Sacẖ āp nibeṛe rāj rāj.
The King of kings Himself administers true justice.

ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਊਤਮ ਸੰਗਿ ਸਾਥਿ
गुरमति ऊतम संगि साथि ॥
Gurmaṯ ūṯam sang sāth.
The most sublime Word of the Guru's Teachings is always with us.

ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਰਸਾਇਣੁ ਸਹਜਿ ਆਥਿ ॥੧॥
हरि नामु रसाइणु सहजि आथि ॥१॥
Har nām rasā▫iṇ sahj āth. ||1||
The wealth of the Lord's Name, the source of nectar, is easily acquired. ||1||

ਮਤ ਬਿਸਰਸਿ ਰੇ ਮਨ ਰਾਮ ਬੋਲਿ
मत बिसरसि रे मन राम बोलि ॥
Maṯ bisras re man rām bol.
So chant the Name of the Lord; do not forget it, O my mind.

ਅਪਰੰਪਰੁ ਅਗਮ ਅਗੋਚਰੁ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਹਰਿ ਆਪਿ ਤੁਲਾਏ ਅਤੁਲੁ ਤੋਲਿ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ
अपर्मपरु अगम अगोचरु गुरमुखि हरि आपि तुलाए अतुलु तोलि ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Aprampar agam agocẖar gurmukẖ har āp ṯulā▫e aṯul ṯol. ||1|| rahā▫o.
The Lord is Infinite, Inaccessible and Incomprehensible; His weight cannot be weighed, but He Himself allows the Gurmukh to weigh Him. ||1||Pause||

ਗੁਰ ਚਰਨ ਸਰੇਵਹਿ ਗੁਰਸਿਖ ਤੋਰ
गुर चरन सरेवहि गुरसिख तोर ॥
Gur cẖaran sarevėh gursikẖ ṯor.
Your GurSikhs serve at the Guru's Feet.

ਗੁਰ ਸੇਵ ਤਰੇ ਤਜਿ ਮੇਰ ਤੋਰ
गुर सेव तरे तजि मेर तोर ॥
Gur sev ṯare ṯaj mer ṯor.
Serving the Guru, they are carried across; they have abandoned any distinction between 'mine' and 'yours'.

ਨਰ ਨਿੰਦਕ ਲੋਭੀ ਮਨਿ ਕਠੋਰ
नर निंदक लोभी मनि कठोर ॥
Nar ninḏak lobẖī man kaṯẖor.
The slanderous and greedy people are hard-hearted.

ਗੁਰ ਸੇਵ ਭਾਈ ਸਿ ਚੋਰ ਚੋਰ ॥੨॥
गुर सेव न भाई सि चोर चोर ॥२॥
Gur sev na bẖā▫ī sė cẖor cẖor. ||2||
Those who do not love to serve the Guru are the most thieving of thieves. ||2||

ਗੁਰੁ ਤੁਠਾ ਬਖਸੇ ਭਗਤਿ ਭਾਉ
गुरु तुठा बखसे भगति भाउ ॥
Gur ṯuṯẖā bakẖse bẖagaṯ bẖā▫o.
When the Guru is pleased, He blesses the mortals with loving devotional worship of the Lord.

ਗੁਰਿ ਤੁਠੈ ਪਾਈਐ ਹਰਿ ਮਹਲਿ ਠਾਉ
गुरि तुठै पाईऐ हरि महलि ठाउ ॥
Gur ṯuṯẖai pā▫ī▫ai har mahal ṯẖā▫o.
When the Guru is pleased, the mortal obtains a place in the Mansion of the Lord's Presence.

ਪਰਹਰਿ ਨਿੰਦਾ ਹਰਿ ਭਗਤਿ ਜਾਗੁ
परहरि निंदा हरि भगति जागु ॥
Parhar ninḏā har bẖagaṯ jāg.
So renounce slander, and awaken in devotional worship of the Lord.

ਹਰਿ ਭਗਤਿ ਸੁਹਾਵੀ ਕਰਮਿ ਭਾਗੁ ॥੩॥
हरि भगति सुहावी करमि भागु ॥३॥
Har bẖagaṯ suhāvī karam bẖāg. ||3||
Devotion to the Lord is wonderful; it comes through good karma and destiny. ||3||

ਗੁਰੁ ਮੇਲਿ ਮਿਲਾਵੈ ਕਰੇ ਦਾਤਿ
गुरु मेलि मिलावै करे दाति ॥
Gur mel milāvai kare ḏāṯ.
The Guru unites in union with the Lord, and grants the gift of the Name.

ਗੁਰਸਿਖ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਦਿਨਸੁ ਰਾਤਿ
गुरसिख पिआरे दिनसु राति ॥
Gursikẖ pi▫āre ḏinas rāṯ.
The Guru loves His Sikhs, day and night.

ਫਲੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਪਰਾਪਤਿ ਗੁਰੁ ਤੁਸਿ ਦੇਇ
फलु नामु परापति गुरु तुसि देइ ॥
Fal nām parāpaṯ gur ṯus ḏe▫e.
They obtain the fruit of the Naam, when the Guru's favor is bestowed.

ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਪਾਵਹਿ ਵਿਰਲੇ ਕੇਇ ॥੪॥੭॥
कहु नानक पावहि विरले केइ ॥४॥७॥
Kaho Nānak pāvahi virle ke▫e. ||4||7||
Says Nanak, those who receive it are very rare indeed. ||4||7||

ਬਸੰਤੁ ਮਹਲਾ ਇਕ ਤੁਕਾ
बसंतु महला ३ इक तुका ॥
Basanṯ mėhlā 3 ik ṯukā.
Basant, Third Mehl, Ik-Tukas:

ਸਾਹਿਬ ਭਾਵੈ ਸੇਵਕੁ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰੈ
साहिब भावै सेवकु सेवा करै ॥
Sāhib bẖāvai sevak sevā karai.
When it pleases our Lord and Master, His servant serves Him.

ਜੀਵਤੁ ਮਰੈ ਸਭਿ ਕੁਲ ਉਧਰੈ ॥੧॥
जीवतु मरै सभि कुल उधरै ॥१॥
Jīvaṯ marai sabẖ kul uḏẖrai. ||1||
He remains dead while yet alive, and redeems all his ancestors. ||1||

ਤੇਰੀ ਭਗਤਿ ਛੋਡਉ ਕਿਆ ਕੋ ਹਸੈ
तेरी भगति न छोडउ किआ को हसै ॥
Ŧerī bẖagaṯ na cẖẖoda▫o ki▫ā ko hasai.
I shall not renounce Your devotional worship, O Lord; what does it matter if people laugh at me?

ਸਾਚੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਮੇਰੈ ਹਿਰਦੈ ਵਸੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ
साचु नामु मेरै हिरदै वसै ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Sācẖ nām merai hirḏai vasai. ||1|| rahā▫o.
The True Name abides within my heart. ||1||Pause||

ਜੈਸੇ ਮਾਇਆ ਮੋਹਿ ਪ੍ਰਾਣੀ ਗਲਤੁ ਰਹੈ
जैसे माइआ मोहि प्राणी गलतु रहै ॥
Jaise mā▫i▫ā mohi parāṇī galaṯ rahai.
Just as the mortal remains engrossed in attachment to Maya,

ਤੈਸੇ ਸੰਤ ਜਨ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮ ਰਵਤ ਰਹੈ ॥੨॥
तैसे संत जन राम नाम रवत रहै ॥२॥
Ŧaise sanṯ jan rām nām ravaṯ rahai. ||2||
so does the Lord's humble Saint remain absorbed in the Lord's Name. ||2||

ਮੈ ਮੂਰਖ ਮੁਗਧ ਊਪਰਿ ਕਰਹੁ ਦਇਆ
मै मूरख मुगध ऊपरि करहु दइआ ॥
Mai mūrakẖ mugaḏẖ ūpar karahu ḏa▫i▫ā.
I am foolish and ignorant, O Lord; please be merciful to me.

ਤਉ ਸਰਣਾਗਤਿ ਰਹਉ ਪਇਆ ॥੩॥
तउ सरणागति रहउ पइआ ॥३॥
Ŧa▫o sarṇāgaṯ raha▫o pa▫i▫ā. ||3||
May I remain in Your Sanctuary. ||3||

ਕਹਤੁ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਕੇ ਨਿਹਫਲ ਕਾਮਾ
कहतु नानकु संसार के निहफल कामा ॥
Kahaṯ Nānak sansār ke nihfal kāmā.
Says Nanak, worldly affairs are fruitless.

ਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ਕੋ ਪਾਵੈ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਨਾਮਾ ॥੪॥੮॥
गुर प्रसादि को पावै अम्रित नामा ॥४॥८॥
Gur parsāḏ ko pāvai amriṯ nāmā. ||4||8||
Only by Guru's Grace does one receive the Nectar of the Naam, the Name of the Lord. ||4||8||

ਮਹਲਾ ਬਸੰਤੁ ਹਿੰਡੋਲ ਘਰੁ
महला १ बसंतु हिंडोल घरु २
Mėhlā 1 basanṯ hindol gẖar 2
First Mehl, Basant Hindol, Second House:

ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ
ੴ सतिगुर प्रसादि ॥
Ik▫oaʼnkār saṯgur parsāḏ.
One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:

ਸਾਲ ਗ੍ਰਾਮ ਬਿਪ ਪੂਜਿ ਮਨਾਵਹੁ ਸੁਕ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਤੁਲਸੀ ਮਾਲਾ
साल ग्राम बिप पूजि मनावहु सुक्रितु तुलसी माला ॥
Sāl garām bip pūj manāvahu sukariṯ ṯulsī mālā.
O Brahmin, you worship and believe in your stone-god, and wear your ceremonial rosary beads.

ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮੁ ਜਪਿ ਬੇੜਾ ਬਾਂਧਹੁ ਦਇਆ ਕਰਹੁ ਦਇਆਲਾ ॥੧॥
राम नामु जपि बेड़ा बांधहु दइआ करहु दइआला ॥१॥
Rām nām jap beṛā bāʼnḏẖahu ḏa▫i▫ā karahu ḏa▫i▫ālā. ||1||
Chant the Name of the Lord. Build your boat, and pray, "O Merciful Lord, please be merciful to me."||1||
