ਭਗਵਤ ਭੀਰਿ ਸਕਤਿ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਕੀ ਕਟੀ ਕਾਲ ਭੈ ਫਾਸੀ ॥
Bẖagvaṯ bẖīr sakaṯ simran kī katī kāl bẖai fāsī.
With the army of God's devotees, and Shakti, the power of meditation, I have snapped the noose of the fear of death.

ਦਾਸੁ ਕਮੀਰੁ ਚੜ੍ਹ੍ਹਿਓ ਗੜ੍ਹ੍ਹ ਊਪਰਿ ਰਾਜੁ ਲੀਓ ਅਬਿਨਾਸੀ ॥੬॥੯॥੧੭॥
Ḏās kamīr cẖaṛĥi▫o gaṛĥ ūpar rāj lī▫o abẖināsī. ||6||9||17||
Slave Kabeer has climbed to the top of the fortress; I have obtained the eternal, imperishable domain. ||6||9||17||

ਗੰਗ ਗੁਸਾਇਨਿ ਗਹਿਰ ਗੰਭੀਰ ॥
Gang gusā▫in gahir gambẖīr.
The mother Ganges is deep and profound.
|
ਜੰਜੀਰ ਬਾਂਧਿ ਕਰਿ ਖਰੇ ਕਬੀਰ ॥੧॥
Janjīr bāʼnḏẖ kar kẖare Kabīr. ||1||
Tied up in chains, they took Kabeer there. ||1||
|
ਮਨੁ ਨ ਡਿਗੈ ਤਨੁ ਕਾਹੇ ਕਉ ਡਰਾਇ ॥
Man na digai ṯan kāhe ka▫o darā▫e.
My mind was not shaken; why should my body be afraid?
|
ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਚਿਤੁ ਰਹਿਓ ਸਮਾਇ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Cẖaran kamal cẖiṯ rahi▫o samā▫e. Rahā▫o.
My consciousness remained immersed in the Lotus Feet of the Lord. ||1||Pause||

ਗੰਗਾ ਕੀ ਲਹਰਿ ਮੇਰੀ ਟੁਟੀ ਜੰਜੀਰ ॥
Gangā kī lahar merī tutī janjīr.
The waves of the Ganges broke the chains,
|
ਮ੍ਰਿਗਛਾਲਾ ਪਰ ਬੈਠੇ ਕਬੀਰ ॥੨॥
Marigcẖẖālā par baiṯẖe Kabīr. ||2||
and Kabeer was seated on a deer skin. ||2||
|
ਕਹਿ ਕੰਬੀਰ ਕੋਊ ਸੰਗ ਨ ਸਾਥ ॥
Kahi kambīr ko▫ū sang na sāth.
Says Kabeer, I have no friend or companion.
|
ਜਲ ਥਲ ਰਾਖਨ ਹੈ ਰਘੁਨਾਥ ॥੩॥੧੦॥੧੮॥
Jal thal rākẖan hai ragẖunāth. ||3||10||18||
On the water, and on the land, the Lord is my Protector. ||3||10||18||

ਭੈਰਉ ਕਬੀਰ ਜੀਉ ਅਸਟਪਦੀ ਘਰੁ ੨

ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥
Ik▫oaʼnkār saṯgur parsāḏ.
One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:

ਅਗਮ ਦ੍ਰੁਗਮ ਗੜਿ ਰਚਿਓ ਬਾਸ ॥
Agam ḏarugam gaṛ racẖi▫o bās.
God constructed a fortress, inaccessible and unreachable, in which He dwells.
|
ਜਾ ਮਹਿ ਜੋਤਿ ਕਰੇ ਪਰਗਾਸ ॥
Jā mėh joṯ kare pargās.
There, His Divine Light radiates forth.
|
ਬਿਜੁਲੀ ਚਮਕੈ ਹੋਇ ਅਨੰਦੁ ॥
Bijulī cẖamkai ho▫e anand.
Lightning blazes, and bliss prevails there,
|
ਜਿਹ ਪਉੜ੍ਹ੍ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਬਾਲ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ॥੧॥
Jih pa▫oṛĥe parabẖ bāl gobinḏ. ||1||
where the Eternally Young Lord God abides. ||1||
|
ਇਹੁ ਜੀਉ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਗੈ ॥
Ih jī▫o rām nām liv lāgai.
This soul is lovingly attuned to the Lord's Name.
|
ਜਰਾ ਮਰਨੁ ਛੂਟੈ ਭ੍ਰਮੁ ਭਾਗੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Jarā maran cẖẖūtai bẖaram bẖāgai. ||1|| rahā▫o.
It is saved from old age and death, and its doubt runs away. ||1||Pause||
|
ਅਬਰਨ ਬਰਨ ਸਿਉ ਮਨ ਹੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ॥
Abran baran si▫o man hī parīṯ.
Those who believe in high and low social classes,
|
ਹਉਮੈ ਗਾਵਨਿ ਗਾਵਹਿ ਗੀਤ ॥
Ha▫umai gāvan gāvahi gīṯ.
only sing songs and chants of egotism.
|
ਅਨਹਦ ਸਬਦ ਹੋਤ ਝੁਨਕਾਰ ॥
Anhaḏ sabaḏ hoṯ jẖunkār.
The Unstruck Sound-current of the Shabad, the Word of God, resounds in that place,
|
ਜਿਹ ਪਉੜ੍ਹ੍ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੋਪਾਲ ॥੨॥
Jih pa▫oṛĥe parabẖ sarī gopāl. ||2||
where the Supreme Lord God abides. ||2||
|
ਖੰਡਲ ਮੰਡਲ ਮੰਡਲ ਮੰਡਾ ॥
Kẖandal mandal mandal mandā.
He creates planets, solar systems and galaxies;
|
ਤ੍ਰਿਅ ਅਸਥਾਨ ਤੀਨਿ ਤ੍ਰਿਅ ਖੰਡਾ ॥
Ŧari▫a asthān ṯīn ṯari▫a kẖanda.
He destroys the three worlds, the three gods and the three qualities.
|
ਅਗਮ ਅਗੋਚਰੁ ਰਹਿਆ ਅਭ ਅੰਤ ॥
Agam agocẖar rahi▫ā abẖ anṯ.
The Inaccessible and Unfathomable Lord God dwells in the heart.
|
ਪਾਰੁ ਨ ਪਾਵੈ ਕੋ ਧਰਨੀਧਰ ਮੰਤ ॥੩॥
Pār na pāvai ko ḏẖarnīḏẖar manṯ. ||3||
No one can find the limits or the secrets of the Lord of the World. ||3||
|
ਕਦਲੀ ਪੁਹਪ ਧੂਪ ਪਰਗਾਸ ॥
Kaḏlī puhap ḏẖūp pargās.
The Lord shines forth in the plantain flower and the sunshine.
|
ਰਜ ਪੰਕਜ ਮਹਿ ਲੀਓ ਨਿਵਾਸ ॥
Raj pankaj mėh lī▫o nivās.
He dwells in the pollen of the lotus flower.
|
ਦੁਆਦਸ ਦਲ ਅਭ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਮੰਤ ॥
Ḏu▫āḏas ḏal abẖ anṯar manṯ.
The Lord's secret is within the twelve petals of the heart-lotus.
|
ਜਹ ਪਉੜੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕਮਲਾ ਕੰਤ ॥੪॥
Jah pa▫uṛe sarī kamlā kanṯ. ||4||
The Supreme Lord, the Lord of Lakshmi dwells there. ||4||
|
ਅਰਧ ਉਰਧ ਮੁਖਿ ਲਾਗੋ ਕਾਸੁ ॥
Araḏẖ uraḏẖ mukẖ lāgo kās.
He is like the sky, stretching across the lower, upper and middle realms.
|
ਸੁੰਨ ਮੰਡਲ ਮਹਿ ਕਰਿ ਪਰਗਾਸੁ ॥
Sunn mandal mėh kar pargās.
In the profoundly silent celestial realm, He radiates forth.
|
ਊਹਾਂ ਸੂਰਜ ਨਾਹੀ ਚੰਦ ॥
Ūhāʼn sūraj nāhī cẖanḏ.
Neither the sun nor the moon are there,
|
ਆਦਿ ਨਿਰੰਜਨੁ ਕਰੈ ਅਨੰਦ ॥੫॥
Āḏ niranjan karai anand. ||5||
but the Primal Immaculate Lord celebrates there. ||5||
|
ਸੋ ਬ੍ਰਹਮੰਡਿ ਪਿੰਡਿ ਸੋ ਜਾਨੁ ॥
So barahmand pind so jān.
Know that He is in the universe, and in the body as well.
|
ਮਾਨ ਸਰੋਵਰਿ ਕਰਿ ਇਸਨਾਨੁ ॥
Mān sarovar kar isnān.
Take your cleansing bath in the Mansarovar Lake.
|
ਸੋਹੰ ਸੋ ਜਾ ਕਉ ਹੈ ਜਾਪ ॥
Sohaʼn so jā ka▫o hai jāp.
Chant "Sohan" - "He is me.
|
ਜਾ ਕਉ ਲਿਪਤ ਨ ਹੋਇ ਪੁੰਨ ਅਰੁ ਪਾਪ ॥੬॥
Jā ka▫o lipaṯ na ho▫e punn ar pāp. ||6||
He is not affected by either virtue or vice. ||6||
|
ਅਬਰਨ ਬਰਨ ਘਾਮ ਨਹੀ ਛਾਮ ॥
Abran baran gẖām nahī cẖẖām.
He is not affected by either high or low social class, sunshine or shade.
|
ਅਵਰ ਨ ਪਾਈਐ ਗੁਰ ਕੀ ਸਾਮ ॥
Avar na pā▫ī▫ai gur kī sām.
He is in the Guru's Sanctuary, and nowhere else.
|
ਟਾਰੀ ਨ ਟਰੈ ਆਵੈ ਨ ਜਾਇ ॥
Tārī na tarai āvai na jā▫e.
He is not diverted by diversions, comings or goings.
|
ਸੁੰਨ ਸਹਜ ਮਹਿ ਰਹਿਓ ਸਮਾਇ ॥੭॥
Sunn sahj mėh rahi▫o samā▫e. ||7||
Remain intuitively absorbed in the celestial void. ||7||
|
ਮਨ ਮਧੇ ਜਾਨੈ ਜੇ ਕੋਇ ॥
Man maḏẖe jānai je ko▫e.
One who knows the Lord in the mind -
|
ਜੋ ਬੋਲੈ ਸੋ ਆਪੈ ਹੋਇ ॥
Jo bolai so āpai ho▫e.
whatever he says, comes to pass.
|
ਜੋਤਿ ਮੰਤ੍ਰਿ ਮਨਿ ਅਸਥਿਰੁ ਕਰੈ ॥
Joṯ manṯar man asthir karai.
One who firmly implants the Lord's Divine Light, and His Mantra within the mind-
|
ਕਹਿ ਕਬੀਰ ਸੋ ਪ੍ਰਾਨੀ ਤਰੈ ॥੮॥੧॥
Kahi Kabīr so parānī ṯarai. ||8||1||
says Kabeer, such a mortal crosses over to the other side. ||8||1||
|
ਕੋਟਿ ਸੂਰ ਜਾ ਕੈ ਪਰਗਾਸ ॥
Kot sūr jā kai pargās.
Millions of suns shine for Him,
|
ਕੋਟਿ ਮਹਾਦੇਵ ਅਰੁ ਕਬਿਲਾਸ ॥
Kot mahāḏev ar kabilās.
millions of Shivas and Kailash mountains.
|
ਦੁਰਗਾ ਕੋਟਿ ਜਾ ਕੈ ਮਰਦਨੁ ਕਰੈ ॥
Ḏurgā kot jā kai marḏan karai.
Millions of Durga goddesses massage His Feet.
|
ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ ਕੋਟਿ ਬੇਦ ਉਚਰੈ ॥੧॥
Barahmā kot beḏ ucẖrai. ||1||
Millions of Brahmas chant the Vedas for Him. ||1||
|
ਜਉ ਜਾਚਉ ਤਉ ਕੇਵਲ ਰਾਮ ॥
Ja▫o jācẖa▫o ṯa▫o keval rām.
When I beg, I beg only from the Lord.
|
ਆਨ ਦੇਵ ਸਿਉ ਨਾਹੀ ਕਾਮ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Ān ḏev si▫o nāhī kām. ||1|| rahā▫o.
I have nothing to do with any other deities. ||1||Pause||
|
ਕੋਟਿ ਚੰਦ੍ਰਮੇ ਕਰਹਿ ਚਰਾਕ ॥
Kot cẖanḏarme karahi cẖarāk.
Millions of moons twinkle in the sky.
